Penanganan gout yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan komplikasi sehingga diperlukan perawatan yang tepat untuk mencegah dampak tersebut. Karya Ilmiah Akhir Ners ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran asuhan keperawatan keluarga dengan fokus pengaturan diet pada anggota keluarga dengan gout yang dilakukan selama 7 minggu dengan prinsip diet rendah purin yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kalori harian. Pengaturan diet diterapkan setiap hari dengan menyusun menu makanan dan mengevaluasi makanan yang dimakan melalui catatan makan harian selama 4 minggu. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan intervensi yang dilakukan efektif dalam menurunkan dan menstabilkan kadar asam urat. Intervensi pengaturan diet asam urat disarankan untuk dilakukan pada keluarga lainnya untuk mengontrol dan mencegah dampak dari gout.

ABSTRACT

Gout is one of the disease that appearing due to unhealthy lifestyle on urban community, such as smoking, consuming food with high purine, less exercising, less consuming liquids and haven rsquo t rest enough. Improper practice can cause complications so it need proper cares to prevent these impacts. This Final Scientific Nurse Paper aims to provide an illustration of nursing family care with focusing in diet management on the family members with uric acid during 7 weeks with the principle of a diet low purine that adapted to the needs of daily calories. Diet management applied every day with composing food menu and evaluate food is eaten through food diary for 4 weeks. The evaluation results show intervention is effective in lowering and stabilize uric acid levels. Intervention uric acid diet management suggested to be held on other family rsquo s controls and prevent impact of gout."
