"Industri kosmetik terus mengalami perkembangan signifikan setiap tahunnya. Product packaging telah menjadi salah satu media pemasaran dari industri kosmetik di Indonesia. Fenomena ini akhirnya menimbulkan adanya pengaruh Brand Semiotics dan Brand Experience terhadap Product Packaging pada industri kosmetik di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner yang disebar melalui sosial media dengan batasan umur minimal 16 tahun dan berdomisili di wilayah Indonesia. Penelitian ini mendapatkan 402 dengan 372 responden yang lolos pada tahap screening. Peneliti menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan aplikasi SPSS 29 dan Smart PLS 3 untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh secara positif antar variable penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand semiotics memiliki pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Sensory dan Affective Brand Experience. Sensory, Affective, dan Cognitive Brand Experience memiliki arah positif dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Brand Trust. Brand Trust memiliki arah positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Sedangkan, brand semiotics memiliki arah positif namun tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap cognitive brand experience. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan industri kosmetik dalam pengambilan keputusan pada pembuatan kemasan pada produk mereka di wilayah Indonesia.

The cosmetic industry continues to experience significant growth each year. Product packaging has become one of the marketing mediums for the cosmetic industry in Indonesia. This phenomenon has ultimately led to the influence of Brand Semiotics and Brand Experience on Product Packaging in the Indonesian cosmetic industry. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed via social media, with an age restriction of at least 16 years and domiciled in Indonesia. This study obtained 402 responses, with 372 respondents passing the screening stage. The researchers used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with SPSS 29 and Smart PLS 3 applications to analyze the positive influence among the research variables. The results showed that brand semiotics positively and significantly influenced Sensory and Affective Brand Experience. Sensory, Affective, and Cognitive Brand Experience positively and significantly influenced Brand Trust. Brand Trust had a positive and significant impact on purchase intention. Meanwhile, brand semiotics had a positive direction but did not significantly influence cognitive brand experience. This research can be used by cosmetic industry companies in making decisions regarding their product packaging in Indonesia."

"Sebagai negara yang didominasi oleh penganut agama Islam, kesadaran untuk menggunakan produk halal di Indonesia semakin meningkat. Hal ini memengaruhi adanya peningkatan perkembangan pada industri halal, salah satunya adanya industru kosmetik halal. Seiring dengan pergeseran perilaku konsumen dalam berbelanja secara tradisional menjadi online, Wardah sebagai pioner kosmetik halal melakukan upaya untuk mengembangkan situs Wardahbeauty.com. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi pembelian online pada kosmetik halal, menggunakan studi kasus merek Wardah. Penelitian ini mengadopsi teori Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) untuk memahami perilaku konsumen dalam membeli kosmetik halal secara online. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan judgemental sampling yang melibatkan 274 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel-variabel yang diteliti dengan aplikasi IBM AMOS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori S-O-R dapat menjelaskan kegiatan belanja online, dimana stimulus yang diteliti adalah religiosity, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value, dan environmental stimuli. Stimuli ini berhasil memengaruhi organisme yang terdiri dari cognitive attitude, affective attitude, dan emotional purchase yang akhirnya menghasilkan respons berupa intensi pembelian kosmetik halal secara online. Meski begitu, tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan pada hedonic shopping value terhadap cognitive attitude, utilitarian shopping value terhadap cognitive attitude dan affective attitude, environmental stimuli terhadap emotional purchase, dan emotional purchase terhadap online purchase intention.

As a country Muslim-majority country, awareness to use halal products in Indonesia is increasing. This affects the development of the halal industry, one of which is the halal cosmetics industry. Along with the shift in consumer behavior from traditional to online shopping, Wardah as a pioneer of halal cosmetics made efforts to develop Wardahbeauty.com site. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the factors that influence online purchase intentions for halal cosmetics, using a case study of the Wardah brand. This study adopts the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory to understand consumer behavior in buying halal cosmetics online. The research sample was selected using judgmental sampling involving 274 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method to see the relationship between the variables studied using the IBM AMOS 26 application. The results show that S-O-R theory can help explaining online shopping activities, where the stimulus studied is religiosity, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value, and environmental stimuli. These stimuli succeeded in influencing the organism, consisting of cognitive attitude, affective attitude, and emotional purchase which ultimately resulted in a response in the form of intention to purchase halal cosmetics online. Even so, no significant effect was found on hedonic shopping value on cognitive attitude, utilitarian shopping value on cognitive attitude and affective attitude, environmental stimuli on emotional purchase, and emotional purchase on online purchase intention."

"Product packaging is not only used as a product container, but also used as a means of marketing by companies, particularly by those involved in consumer goods. Yogurt products are predicted to experience expansion in the Indonesian market. In this study, the authors analyzed the implementation of cognitive-based design in developing yogurt product packaging to increase consumers’ willingness to buy the product. This study was divided into two phases: initial research and primary research. Initial research pursued six levels of color scheme and font factors and then narrowed down the results into the two best options that would later be combined with the primary research that analysed the shape factors. Research methods used in the initial study were the Eye-Tracking method and the ‘Retrospective-Think-Aloud’ (RTA) method. Preliminary results showed that ‘Fineliner’ and ‘Bodoni’ font type along with ‘Analogue’ and ‘Tetradic’ color schemes are judged to be the best combination and thus, these results would be combined in the main study with the shape factor. Conjoint Analysis methods were used in the main study. The main results of the research study showed a preference from Indonesian consumers for yogurt product packaging with the ‘Fineline’ font type with its rounded shape and an ‘Analogue’ color scheme."

"ABSTRAK
Indonesia adalah salah satu pasar otomotif di wilayah ASEAN. Pasar otomotif Di Indonesia juga dapat dikatakan masih sangat potensial.. Ketatnya persaingan mendorong produsen untuk terus berinovasi untuk menjaga ketertarikan pelanggan. Salah satu cara untuk menjaga ketertarikan pelanggan adalah melakukan perubahan desain (facelift). Yang diwujudkan melalui penyempurnaan produk, fitur baru, desain yang lebih atraktif dan peningkatan kualitas. Suatu perubahan desain membutuhkan keputusan tentang apa yang akan harus diubah dan dipertahankan. Salah satu cara untuk mencapai keputusan tersebut adalah melalui analisa dampak perubahan desain terhadap Purchase intention costumer. Analisa terhadap hubungan antara perubahan desain produk otomotif (facelift) dengan Purchase intention akan dilakukan menggunakan metode PLS-SEM, dengan objek penelitian Toyota Kijang Innova tahun 2011. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa elemen perubahan desain, yaitu perubahan tampilan eksterior, perubahan tampilah interior, fitur baru, dan teknologi baru berpengaruh positif terhadap penilaian pelanggan (Perceived Value). Diantara keempat perubahan tersebut, perubahan tampilan eksterior adalah perubahan yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap penilaian pelanggan (Perceived Value). Dalam hubungan ini, Perceived Value berlaku sebagai perantara antara elemen perubahan dan Purchase intention

ABSTRACT
Indonesia is one of the most promising automotive markets in South East Asia. Indonesian automotive market is still very potential, due to large number of population and it continuous growth. The strictness of Indonesian automotive market, urge every brand to keep innovating, in order to maintain customer attractiveness. One way to maintain costumer attractiveness is through product redesign (facelift), which manifested by product enhancement, more attractive design, and quality enhancement. Product design requires a decision on which part should be improved, and which part should be kept. To help reach that decision we analyze the product redesign relation and impact on Purchase intention. This research will analyze relationship between product redesign in automotive (facelift) and Purchase intention, using PLS-SEM method, with Toyota Kijang Innova 2011 version as research object. The result show that product redesign element, new look and feel exterior, new look and feel interior, new feature and New Technology positively related to customer Perceived Value. Between those four product innovation element, new look and feel exterior has the most significant relation with costumer Perceived Value. From the result on the relationship, it can be found that product innovations are not directly influencing Purchase intention, but using Perceived Value as an intermediate construct

Skripsi ini membahas pola-pola verba imperatif yang terdapat dalam petunjuk
pemakaian produk makanan, obat-obatan dan kosmetik. Penulis menganalisis verba
yang menunjukkan perintah yang digunakan dalam produk tersebut. Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Penulis menjadikan 16
produk yang terdiri dari enam produk jenis makanan, lima produk jenis obat-obatan,
dan lima produk jenis kosmetik, sebagai sumber data dalam penelitian. Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bagaimana penggunaan verba imperatif dalam
teks iklan, yakni petunjuk pemakaian beberapa produk yang sering digunakan
masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa verba imperatif yang terdapat pada
produk-produk tersebut adalah verba imperatif asli dan verba imperatif berdasarkan
pragmatik dengan jumlah verba imperatif berdasarkan pragmatik lebih banyak
digunakan daripada verba imperatif asli. Adapun verba imperatif berdasarkan
pragmatik tersebut antara lain berupa nomina deverbal, verba imperfektif, dan
nomina berpreposisi. Sebagian besar verba imperatif berdasarkan pragmatik dalam
petunjuk pemakaian ini merupakan verba imperfektif.

Abstract
The focus of this study is verb, one of imperative devices, which appears in
instruction of use in food, medicines and cosmetic product. Imperative verb which is
used in the products will be analyzed through this study. The method of this study is
qualitative with descriptive design. The sources of this study are 16 products which
consist of six products of food, five products of medicines and five products of
cosmetic. The purpose of this study is to describe how to use imperative verb in
advertisement text, specifically instruction of use in products which is common in
public. The result shows that the imperative verb which appears in these products are
original imperative verb and non-original imperative verb. In addition, the number of
non-imperative verb is more dominant than original imperative verb ones. As for
non-original imperative verbs are verbal noun, imperfective verb and prepositional
noun. The non-original imperative verb which is mostly used is imperfective verb."

Industri rokok saat ini semakin meningkat dan kompetitif. Hal tersebut secara tidak langsung memaksa dan mendorong perusahaan rokok untuk terus berkembang untuk dapat terus bersaing dengan kompetitor. Salah satu strategi yang dapat
dilakukan untuk dapat terus bersaing ialah dengan mengembangkan produk rokok baru. Walaupun demikian perlu diketahui bahwa tingkat kegagalan produk baru cukuplah tinggi, yaitu sekitar 40% - 90%. Hal tersebut mendorong perusahaan
untuk perlu merencanakan segala bentuk aktivitas pengembangan produk baru (New Product Development) secara matang guna mengurangi tingkat kegagalan produk baru tersebut. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan aktivitas pengembangan produk baru ialah penentuan kerangka model pengembangan produk baru (NPD) yang tepat. Sehingga penelitian ini meneliti kerangka model NPD yang tepat bagi industri rokok berdasarkan identifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi New Product Purchase Intention masyarakat terhadap produk rokok baru. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, maka akan dilakukan interview dengan salah satu expert guna mendapatkan analisis kerangka model NPD yang lebih mendalam serta tepat bagi industri rokok. Sehingga pada akhirnya, diharapkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat menjadi pertimbangan terhadap penerapan strategi bisnis bagi perusahaan rokok untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya.

ABSTRACT
The tobacco industry is currently becomes more increasing and more competitive. Thus, it is indirectly forcing and urging the tobacco companies to continuously develop in order to be able to compete with its competitors. One of the strategy that
can be conducted to be able to contionously compete is by developing new cigarette products. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the failure rate of a new products is quite high, which is about 40% - 90%. This fact encourages company to plan any
product development activities carefully to reduce the failure rate of such new product. One of the factor that influence the success of the new product development (NPD) activities is the determination of the appropriate framework model on the new product development. Therefore, this study is researching on the
appropriate framework model of NPD for the tobacco industry based on the identification of factors that influence the New Cigarette Product Purchase Intention of the society. Afterward, based on the results of such analysis, then an interview with one of the experts will be conducted, to obtain a more detailed and
appropriate analysis on the framework model of NPD for the tobacco industry. Therefore eventually, it is expected that the result of such analysis can becomes a consideration towards the implementation of business strategy of tobacco companies to develop its business."

Samsung Galaxy SIII, pada serial drama Korea yang berjudul “To The Beautiful
You”. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil
penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa brand awareness dan attitude toward drama
tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap attitude toward brand/product, sedangkan
attitude toward actor dan attitude toward product placement berpengaruh
signifikan terhadap attitude toward brand/product. attitude toward actor dan
attitude toward brand/product berpengaruh terhadap purchase intention. Hasil
penelitian ini menyarankan marketer agar mampu memilih endorser yang tepat
untuk menggunakan produknya dalam product placement yang ditampilkan dalam
sebuah serial drama, karena aktor memiliki pengaruh yang cukup tinggi baik
terhadap attitude toward brand/product, maupun purchase intention.

ABSTRACT
This study focused on the effect of Samsung Galaxy SIII smartphone product
placement, in Korean drama series entitled "To The Beautiful You". This research
is descriptive quantitative research design. The results of this study showed that
brand awareness and attitude toward drama have insignificant effect on attitude
toward the brand / product, while the attitude toward the actor and attitude toward
product placement significantly influence the attitude toward the brand / product.
Attitude toward actors and attitude toward brand/product significantly influence
purchase intention. The results of this study suggest that marketers have to choose
the right endorser to use the product in product placement featured in a drama
series, because the actor has a high enough influence both on attitude toward the
brand / product, and purchase intention."

"Dalam rangka memenuhi permintaan konsumen dan bertahan pada pasar yang kompetitif, suatu perusahaan farmasi seperti PT Takeda Indonesia seringkali menggunakan lean manufacturing yang mengurangi pemborosan dalam proses produksi sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas. Salah satu alat dari lean manufacturing adalah takt time, yaitu waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan analisis perbandingan takt time dan cycle time, serta identifikasi dan pemberian solusi terhadap pemborosan yang mungkin terjadi di PT Takeda Indonesia untuk memastikan proses pengemasan produk tablet V berjalan dengan efisien. Pengambilan data waktu operasi mesin dan jumlah tablet yang diproduksi diambil dari Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) mesin stripping H dan S yang sejalur dengan proses pengemasan sekunder, sedangkan data jumlah permintaan konsumen untuk produk tablet V diambil dari Purchase Order (PO). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan terjadinya produksi berlebih yang ditandai dengan lebih kecilnya cycle time jika dibandingkan dengan takt time sehingga dapat menyebabkan berlebihnya inventaris. Hal ini disebabkan terdapatnya penurunan permintaan konsumen yang cukup signifikan dari masa COVID sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi yang dapat dipertimbangkan adalah melakukan penyesuaian jadwal dengan permintaan konsumen saat ini, serta dapat melakukan perhitungan takt time untuk tiap langkah pengemasan produk V secara real time agar dapat mengidentifikasi pemborosan secara detail dan mengoptimalisasi efisiensi di tiap langkah pengemasan.

To meet consumer demand and survive in a competitive market, a pharmaceutical company such as PT Takeda Indonesia often uses lean manufacturing which reduces waste in the production process to increase productivity. One of the tools of lean manufacturing is takt time, which is the time needed to meet consumer demand. Therefore, a comparative analysis of takt time and cycle time was carried out, as well as identifying and providing solutions to waste that might occur at PT Takeda Indonesia to ensure that the packaging process for tablet V products runs efficiently. Data collection on machine operating time and the number of tablets produced were taken from the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of H and S stripping machines which are in line with the secondary packaging process, while data on consumer requests for tablet V products were taken from Purchase Orders (PO). Based on this study, the smaller cycle time when compared to the takt time indicates the occurrence of overproduction which can lead to excess inventory. This was due to a significant decrease in consumer demand from the previous COVID period. Therefore, recommendations that can be considered are adjusting the schedule to current consumer demand, and being able to calculate takt time for each step of product V packaging in real time to identify waste in detail and optimize efficiency at each packaging step."

"ABSTRAK
Asam azelat merupakan salah satu zat yang memiliki efek anti jerawat dan pencerah kulit akan tetapi dilarang terdapat pada produk kosmetik berdasarkan Peraturan Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan nomor 18 tentang Persyaratan Teknis Bahan Kosmetika tahun 2015 lampiran V. Asam azelat sebagai obat jerawat dalam penggunaannya harus dengan resep dokter dan umumnya digunakan pada konsentrasi 20 di dalam formulasi krim dan 15 di dalam gel. Penggunaan asam azelat pada konsentrasi rendah di dalam produk kosmetik tidak direkomendasikan karena asam azelat tidak menunjukkan efektifitas jika konsentrasinya di bawah 10 dan penggunaan antibiotik dosis rendah dapat menimbulkan resistensi. Aplikasi konsentrasi yang lebih tinggi dari 10 dianggap sebagai penggunaan pada medis. Metode standar penentuan asam azelat baik dalam kadar tinggi maupun kadar rendah belum ada, tapi umumnya digunakan metode KCKT untuk penentuan asam azelat dalam kadar besar. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan modifikasi metode analisis asam lemak standar AOAC Internasional serta validasi metode analisa agar metode tersebut dapat diaplikasikan di laboratorium. Metode analisis melibatkan pemanasan sediaan krim yang telah dilarutkan dengan metanol dan ditambahkan katalis BF3-metanol 10 , dilanjutkan dengan ekstraksi dan analisis dengan GCMS. Berdasarkan hasil validasi metode diperoleh kurva kalibrasi yang cukup linier dengan nilai korelatif 0,9997. Metode ini juga cukup sensitif dengan batas deteksi 1,02 g/mL, presisi yang cukup baik dengan simpangan baku relatif RSD antara 0,63 ndash; 0,96 serta hasil yang cukup akurat yang mana persentase perolehan kembali sebesar 99,85 pada rentang 98,27 ndash; 100,72 . Hasil yang baik ini menunjukkan bahwa metode dapat digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk pengujian di laboratorium.
ABSTRACT
Azelaic acid is one of the substances that has anti acne and skin lightening effects but prohibited on cosmetics products based on the Regulation of the Head of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control BPOM No. 18 of 2015 on the Technical Requirements of Cosmetics Ingredients Annex V. Azelaic acid as an acne medicine in use should be by prescription and is generally used at a concentration of 20 in a cream formulation and 15 in the gel. The use of azelaic acid at low concentrations in cosmetic products is not recommended because azelaic acid is not shown to be effective if the concentration is below 10 and the use of low dose antibiotics can lead to resistance. While the use of above 10 is categorized as a medical treatment. The standard method of determining of azelaic acid both in high and low levels does not yet exist, but used the HPLC method to determine a large amount of azelaic acid. In this research, the fatty acid standard analysis method of AOAC International was modified and validated to be used in the laboratory. The method of analysis involves heating the cream preparations dissolved with methanol and then added BF3 methanol catalyst, followed by extraction and analysis using GCMS. The validation of method shows that the calibration curve is linear with correlative value of 0.9997. The method is fairly sensitive with 1.02 g mL detection limit, and fairly precision with relative standard deviation RSD of between 0.63 0.96 and fairly accurate which the recovery percentage is 99.85 at range 98.27 100.72 . In sum the results demonstrate that the method can be used as a routine analysis method for laboratory testing."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari product placement (yang terdiri dari audience involvement dan celebrity worship) terhadap purchase intention yang dimediasi oleh brand awareness dan perceived product quality. Sampel yang digunakan merupakan penonton drama Business Proposal berusia 18-34 tahun, sadar akan merek Goobne yang muncul dalam drama tersebut, dan berdomisili di Indonesia. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara online melalui kuesioner berbentuk Google Form dan berhasil mengumpulkan data sebanyak 205 orang setelah melalui tahap screening. Data yang sudah terkumpul diolah menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan software Smart PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara audience involvement yang terdiri dari emotional involvement dan referential reflection terhadap purchase intention yang dimediasi oleh celebrity worship, brand awareness, dan perceived product quality, kecuali pada entertainment-social (bagian dari celebrity worship) yang ditemukan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel lainya.

This research was conducted to determine whether there is an effect of product placement (which consists of audience involvement and celebrity worship) on purchase intention which is mediated by brand awareness and perceived product quality. The sample used is audience of the drama Business Proposal aged 18-34 years, aware of the Goobne brand that appears in the drama, and domiciled in Indonesia. Sampling was carried out online through a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form and managed to collect data on 205 people after going through the screening stage. The data that has been collected is processed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method using the Smart PLS-SEM software. The results showed that there was a significant influence between audience involvement which consisted of emotional involvement and referential reflection on purchase intention which was mediated by celebrity worship, brand awareness, and perceived product quality, except for entertainment-social (part of celebrity worship) which was found to have no effect significant to other variables."
