"Individu dengan vaginismus sering menghadapi tantangan biopsikososial, termasuk masalah self-esteem. Padahal, self-esteem penting bagi kehidupan individu, terutama mereka yang rentan terhadap masalah psikologis seperti individu dengan vaginismus. Perceived social support diketahui berhubungan dengan self-esteem, tetapi penelitian pada populasi vaginismus masih terbatas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif noneksperimental yang menginvestigasi peran perceived social support terhadap self-esteem pada individu dengan vaginismus di Indonesia. Kriteria partisipan adalah pernah didiagnosis vaginismus, sedang atau pernah mengalami vaginismus, dan berdomisili di Indonesia. Penelitian melibatkan 115 partisipan penyintas dan penderita vaginismus dengan rentang usia 23-45 tahun di Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support yang telah diterjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia. Analisis regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa perceived social support memprediksi self-esteem pada individu dengan vaginismus (β = .150, p < .001). Penelitian ini juga mengungkap temuan lain terkait tantangan terkait mencari pengobatan dan menerima diagnosis yang dihadapi oleh penyintas vaginismus di Indonesia.

Individuals with vaginismus often encounter biopsychosocial challenges, including issues with self-esteem. Self-esteem plays a critical role in the well-being of individuals, particularly for those vulnerable to psychological issues such as those with vaginismus. Although perceived social support is linked to self-esteem, research specifically focusing on the vaginismus population remains limited. This quantitative non-experimental study investigates the role of perceived social support in influencing self-esteem among individuals with vaginismus in Indonesia Participants were selected based on having been diagnosed with or currently experiencing vaginismus, and they resided in Indonesia. The study involved 115 participants aged between 23 and 45 years. The instruments utilized were the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, both translated into Indonesian. Linear regression analysis demonstrated that perceived social support significantly predicts self-esteem in individuals with vaginismus (β = .150, p < .001). The study also highlighted challenges related to seeking treatment and accepting the diagnosis faced by vaginismus survivors in Indonesia."

"Sebagai mahasiswa, berada pada masa transisi dari remaja akhir menuju dewasa awal dan memiliki berbagai tuntutan yang diemban dapat berpotensi menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan mental salah satunya yakni kecemasan. Fenomena kecemasan ini dapat berdampak buruk hingga fatal pada individu jika terus meningkat. Oleh karena itu, penting bahwasannya untuk mengetahui hal-hal yang berperan dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini memiliki bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peran dari perceived social support terhadap kecemasan dimoderasi self-esteem. Variabel kecemasan diukur dengan 10 item dimensi kecemasan dari Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 (HSCL-25), perceived social support diukur dengan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), dan self-esteem diukur dengan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Sebanyak 747 mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia merupakan responden dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perceived social support berhubungan secara negatif terhadap kecemasan, namun hubungan di antara keduanya tidak dimoderasi self-esteem.

As a college student, being in the transition from late teenage to young adult and have a lot of role demands may leads to increase mental illness which one of them is anxiety. This anxiety phenomenon can bring bad impact up to fatalities if it keeps on escalating. Therefore, it is important to know the matters that have impact on reducing the anxiety level of college students. This research’s goal is to know the role of perceived social support to anxiety level and moderated by self-esteem. The anxiety variable was measured using 10 items anxiety dimension of Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 (HSCL-25), the perceived social support was measured using Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), and the self-esteem was measured using Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Total of 747 college students from various colleges in Indonesia were respondents in this research. The result of this research indicates that perceived social support has a negative relationship to anxiety, but the relationship between both is not moderated by self-esteem."

"Kesehatan mental dibutuhkan mahasiswa psikologi terkait persiapan mereka untuk berkecimpung dalam helping profession. Dukungan sosial, terutama perceived social support, dan self-esteem dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mental (Taylor & Brown, 1988; Vinokur, Schul, & Caplan, 1987; Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley 1988). Berbagai penelitian menemukan semakin tinggi perceived social support seseorang, semakin tinggi self-esteem yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perceived social support dan selfesteem mahasiswa psikologi jenjang sarjana. Perceived social support diukur dengan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Zimet et al., 1988) dan self-esteem dengan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). Dari 184 mahasiswa jenjang sarjana Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia yang menjadi partisipan, hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perceived social support dan self-esteem pada mahasiswa psikologi jenjang sarjana (r = 0.274; p < 0.01). Berdasarkan hasil, pendidikan psikologi dapat memerhatikan perceived social support sebagai salah satu cara meningkatkan self-esteem mahasiswa, seperti dengan melakukan intervensi psikoedukasi.

Psychology students need good mental health to be a helping professional. Social support, especially perceived social support, and self-esteem found to influence mental health (Taylor & Brown, 1988; Vinokur, Schul, & Caplan, 1987; Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley 1988). Recent studies found that people with higher level of perceived social support are having higher level of self-esteem. This research was conducted to find the relation between perceived social support and self-esteem in undergraduate psychology students. Perceived social support was measured using Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Zimet et al., 1988) and self-esteem was measured using Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). The participants of this research are 184 University of Indonesia undergraduate psychology students. The main results of this research show that perceived social support correlated significantly with self-esteem (r = 0.274; p < 0.01). Results of this study may be taken by psychology educational institution to increase the concern of perceived social support as one of the factor to increase their students’ self-esteem level, for example is by making a psychoeducational intervention."

"Self-esteem dan dukungan sosial dipercaya dapat memberikan efek penyangga ketika remaja dihadapkan dengan pengalaman negatif yang menimbulkan stres, salah satunya perceraian orang tua, efek ini kemudian berdampak pada kualitas hidup remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana peran self-esteem dan dukungan sosial pada kualitas hidup remaja madya dengan orang tua yang bercerai. Partisipan merupakan 107 remaja madya berusia 14-18 (M=16.93, SD=1.058) tahun yang masih bersekolah dan memiliki orang tua yang sudah bercerai setidaknya dua tahun yang lalu. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan KIDSCREEN-27, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale dan Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale.Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan terdapat peran positif dari self-esteem (R2=0,198, t=5,094, p<0,001) dan dukungan sosial (R2=0,576, t=11,974p<0,001) terhadap kualitas hidup remaja madya dengan orang tua bercerai dan dukungan sosial memiliki peran yang lebih besar dalam memprediksi kualitas hidup remaja (β=0.680). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-esteem dan dukungan sosial dapat menjadi faktor protektif pada kualitas hidup anak dengan orang tua bercerai.

Self-esteem and social support provide buffering effects when adolescents are faced with stressful negative experiences, one of which is parental divorce. This role impacted the quality of life of adolescents with divorced parents. This study examines how self-esteem and social support influence the quality of life of middle adolescents with divorced parents. The study involved 107 middle adolescents aged 14-18 (M=16.93, SD=1.058)who are still attending school and have parents who had been divorced for at least two years. Measurements are conducted using KIDSCREEN-27, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale. The results of multiple regression analysis revealed a positive role between self-esteem (R2=0.198, t=5.094, p<0.001) and social support (R2=0,576, t=11,974 p<0,001) in the quality of life of middle adolescents with divorced parents. Among those, social support has a greater role in predicting adolescent quality of life (β=0.680). The research results show the protective role of self-esteem and social support in enhancing the quality of life of children with divorced parents."

"Penelitian ini berusaha untuk melihat peran dukungan keluarga terhadap harga diri pada mahasiswa generasi pertama dan mahasiswa non-generasi pertama. Mahasiswa generasi pertama adalah mahasiswa yang memiliki orang tua tanpa gelar sarjana. Sementara mahasiswa non-generasi pertama adalah mahasiswa yang memiliki orang tua bergelar sarjana. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur skala dukungan keluarga digunakan untuk mengukur dukungan keluarga dan Rosenberg Self Esteem adaptasi bahasa Indonesia digunakan untuk mengukur harga diri. Penelitian ini melibatkan 178 mahasiswa sarjana dengan umur rata rata 20 tahun, 49 partisipan pria dan 129 partisipan wanita. 99 partisipan digolongkan sebagai mahasiswa generasi pertama dan 79 partisipan digolongkan sebagai mahasiswa non-generasi pertama. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukan secara keseluruhan dukungan keluarga berperan terhadap harga diri pada mahasiswa di Indonesia (F(4,173) = 17,640, p < .05, R² = 0,29), dengan dimensi dukungan keluarga penghargaan dan emosional lebih dominan dibandingkan instrumental dan informasional. Ketika dibandingkan, perbedaan dukungan instrumental sangat dirasakan antara mahasiswa generasi pertama dan mahasiswa non-generasi pertama t(176) = 2,780, p < .05. Temuan ini menunjukan pentingnya peran dukungan keluarga terhadap harga diri, khususnya dukungan keluarga dimensi emosional dan penghargaan pada mahasiswa generasi pertama dan mahasiswa non-generasi pertama di Indonesia.

This study aims to examine the role of Family Support on Self-Esteem in First Generation Students and Non-first Generation Students. First Generation Students are those whose parents do not have a bachelor's degree. Meanwhile, Non-first Generation Students are those whose parents hold a bachelor's degree. This study uses a family support scale to measure family support and an Indonesian adaptation of the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale to measure self-esteem. The study involved 178 undergraduate students with an average age of 20 years, including 49 male participants and 129 female participants. Among them, 99 participants were classified as First Generation Students, and 79 participants were classified as Non-first Generation Students. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that overall family support plays a role in self-esteem among students in Indonesia (F(4,173) = 17.640, p < .05, R² = 0.29), with the dimensions of appreciation and emotional family support being more dominant than instrumental and informational support. When compared, significant differences in instrumental support were felt between First Generation Students and Non-first Generation Students (t(176) = 2.780, p < .05). These findings indicate the importance of the role of family support in self-esteem, especially the emotional and appreciation dimensions of family support, in both First Generation and Non-first Generation Students in Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat servant leadership, job social support, organization-based self-esteem, family satisfaction dan family quality of life pada Biro SDM. Selain itu penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui pengaruh organizational-based self-esteem sebagai mediator dari variabel servant leadership dan job social support terhadap family satisfaction dan family quality of life. Responden penelitian ini adalah 100 pegawai tetap di Biro SDM BKF pada berbagai bidang dan tingkatan yang sudah bekerja lebih dari satu tahun dan sudah menikah. Pengujian pengaruh antar variabel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi pada aplikasi SPSS. Hasilnya adalah OBSE terbukti memediasi pengaruh servant leadership dan job social support terhadap family satisfaction dan family quality of life.

This study aims to determine the level of servant leadership, job social support, organization-based self-esteem, family satisfaction and family quality of life at the HR Bureau. In addition, this study also wants to know the effect of organizational-based self-esteem as a mediator of the servant leadership and job social support variables on family satisfaction and family quality of life. The respondents of this study were 100 permanent employees in the BKF HR Bureau in various fields and levels who had worked for more than one year and were married. Testing the influence of variables in this study uses regression in SPSS applications. The result is that OBSE has been proven to mediate the influence of servant leadership and job social support on family satisfaction and family quality of life.

"Kegiatan latihan fisik secara rutin mampu menjadi salah satu faktor protektif dalam mempertahankan kesejahteraan mental. Individu yang memiliki kesehatan mental baik adalah individu dengan self-esteem yang positif. Latihan fisik didukung penggunaan aplikasi health tracker yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada masa pasca pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penggunaan aplikasi health tracker terhadap hubungan antara frekuensi latihan fisik dengan tingkat self-esteem pada mahasiswa di Indonesia. Dengan 190 partisipan mahasiswa di Indonesia, peneliti menyebarkan kuesioner latihan fisik secara daring menggunakan alat ukur Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif signifikan pada frekuensi latihan fisik dan self-esteem. Analisis regresi dengan PROCESS Model Hayes dalam peran moderasi aplikasi health tracker pada hubungan frekuensi latihan fisik dan self-esteem tidak didukung oleh data. Adanya tingkat perilaku sedenter yang tinggi dan dominasi pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia menjadi penyebab hasil yang tidak signifikan.

Regular physical exercise can be a protective factor in maintaining mental well-being. Individuals who have good mental health are individuals with positive self-esteem. Physical exercise is supported by the use of a health tracker application which shows an increase in the post-Covid-19 pandemic period. This research aims to determine the role of using the health tracker application on the relationship between frequency of physical exercise and the level of self-esteem among students in Indonesia. With 190 student participants in Indonesia, researchers distributed physical exercise questionnaires online using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) measuring instrument. The research results showed that there was a significant positive correlation in the frequency of physical exercise and self-esteem. Regression analysis with the Hayes PROCESS Model in the moderating role of the health tracker application on the relationship between frequency of physical exercise and self-esteem is not supported by the data. There are levels The high sedentary behavior and dominance of University of Indonesia students is the cause of the insignificant results."

"Gangguan jiwa mulai terjadi pada usia 10-29 tahun sebanyak 10-20%. Faktor protektif untuk mencegah terjadinya gangguan jiwa pada remaja adalah harga diri (self-esteem), hubungan keluarga dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor protektif: self-esteem, hubungan keluarga dan dukungan sosial dengan kesehatan jiwa remaja. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif korelatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dan jumlah responden sebanyak 452 orang. Data diambil menggunakan lima kuesioner yaitu data demografi, Rossenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Index Family Relation, Child and Adolescent Sosial Support Scale, Mental Health Continuum Short Form.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas remaja SMP memiliki kesehatan jiwa tingkat sedang (moderate). Faktor protektif yang dimiliki remaja diantaranya harga diri tingkat sedang, hubungan baik dalam keluarga serta memperoleh dukungan sosial yang tinggi dari orang tua, guru, teman sekelas dan teman dekat. Remaja kurang mendapatkan dukungan sosial dari sekolah. Faktor protektif: self-esteem, hubungan keluarga dan dukungan sosial (orang tua, guru, teman sekelas, teman dekat dan sekolah) memiliki hubungan bermakna dengan kesehatan jiwa remaja. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan program promosi kesehatan jiwa remaja dengan meningkatkan faktor protektif: harga diri, hubungan keluarga dan dukungan sosial.

Mental disorders begin to occur at the age of 10-29 years about 10-20 %. Protective factors to prevent mental disorders in adolescents were self-esteem, family relationships and social support. This study aims to determine the relationship of protective factors: self-esteem, family relationships and social support to adolescent mental health. The desain study was descriptive correlative and sample using purposive sampling technique with 452 people. Data were collected by five questionnaires: demographic data, Rossenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Family Relation Index, Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale, Mental Health Continuum Short Form.
The results showed that the majority of junior high school adolescents have moderate mental health. Protective factors of adolescents include moderate self-esteem, good relationships in the family and high social support from parents, teachers, classmates and close friends. Adolescents got less social support from school. Protective factors: self-esteem, family relationships and social support (parents, teachers, classmates, close friends and school) have a meaningful relationship with adolescent mental health. This research is expected for basic the development of youth mental health promotion program by increasing the protective factors: self esteem, family relationship and social support.

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontribusi dukungan sosial teman sebaya, enjoyment, dan pride selama belajar di dalam kelas terhadap self-esteem peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMPN Y Depok (n=334). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian noneksperimental dengan model pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah CASSS (Children and Adolescent Social Support Scale) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial teman sebaya, AEQ (Achievement Emotions Questionnaire) untuk mengukur enjoyment dan mengukur pride. Untuk mengukur self-esteem, peneliti menggunakan RSES (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial teman sebaya, enjoyment, dan pride selama belajar di kelas secara bersama-sama berkontribusi terhadap self-esteem (R Square =0,15 p< 0,01). Diantara ketiga variabel tersebut, pride merupakan variabel yang memiliki kontribusi paling besar yaitu 12% terhadap self-esteem. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi perancangan program intervensi untuk meningkatkan self-esteem melalui penanaman pride peserta didik.

The purpose of this study was to determine the contributions of peer social support, enjoyment, and pride during class to self-esteem of junior high school students. The participants of this study were students at SMPN Y Depok (n = 334). This research was non-experimental with a quantitative approach model. The instruments used in this study were CASSS (Children and Adolescent Social Support Scale) to measure peer social support, AEQ (Achievement Emotions Questionnaire) to measure enjoyment and pride during class, and RSES (Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale) to measure self-esteem.
The results of this study indicate that peer social support, enjoyment, and pride during class have contributions to self-esteem (R Square =0,15 p<0,01). Pride has the biggest contribution of 12% to self-esteem. These results have an implication for the future study to enhance students' self-esteem through pride.

Untuk mengukur dukungan sosial dari orangtua dan self-esteem penulis menggunakan alat ukur Child and Adolescent Social Support Scale (CASSS) subskala dukungan orangtua dan Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Penelitian ini melibatkan 164 remaja usia 11-16 tahun dengan orangtua buruh migran di Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara self-esteem dan dukungan sosial dari orangtua pada remaja anak buruh migran dengan r=0,264; p=0,000. Dengan demikian dukungan sosial dari orangtua sangat dibutuhkan dalam perkembangan self-esteem yang baik pada remaja awal anak buruh migran.

The purpose of this research is to discusses the relationship between social support from parents and self-esteem among early adolescent with migrant worker parents. This research methodhology using a quantitative study with a correlational design. To measure self-esteem and social support from parents, the author using Child and Adolescent Social support Scale (CASSS) parental support subscale and Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Respondents in this research were 164 adolescent, age 11-16 years old in Cilamaya, Karawang, West Java.
The result showed there is a significant positive correlation between self-esteem and social support from parents with r=0,264; p=0,000. In conclusion, social support from parents needed for a good development of self-esteem on early adolescent migrant worker's children.
