"Manusia merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang menyebabkan kecelakaan di Indonesia sebesar 61%, utamanya terjadi ketika pengemudi menunjukan perilaku berkendara berbahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mind wandering dan usia terhadap perilaku berkendara berbahaya. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 259 pengemudi mobil yang berusia 18 sampai 50 tahun berdomisili Jabodetabek. Pengukuran mind wandering menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari “The Four Factors of Mind Wandering (4FMW) Questionnaire dan pengukuran perilaku berkendara berbahaya menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari “The Dula Dangerous Driving Index”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mind wandering dan usia secara bersama-sama dapat memprediksi perilaku berkendara berbahaya secara signifikan, dimana mind wandering merupakan prediktor yang lebih besar dibandingkan variabel usia terhadap perilaku berkendara berbahaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perlu upaya sosialisasi oleh pihak kepolisian yang lebih kuat tentang pentingnya kesadaran dan konsentrasi bagi pengemudi untuk keselamatan dalam berkendara.

Humans are one of the main factors causing accidents in Indonesia, accounting for 61%, primarily occurring when drivers exhibit dangerous driving behavior. This study aims to examine the role of mind wandering and age on dangerous driving behavior. The participants of this study were 259 car drivers aged 18 to 50 years residing in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). Mind wandering was measured using an instrument adapted from "The Four Factors of Mind Wandering (4FMW) Questionnaire" and dangerous driving behavior was measured using an instrument adapted from "The Dula Dangerous Driving Index". The results showed that mind wandering and age together significantly predict dangerous driving behavior, with mind wandering being a larger predictor than age for dangerous driving behavior. The results of this study indicate the need for stronger efforts by the police to socialize the importance of awareness and concentration for drivers to ensure driving safety."

"Faktor manusia menyumbang 61 persen kasus kecelakaan di Indonesia, faktor ini utamanya terjadi ketika pengemudi terdistraksi dari aktivitas berkendaranya, salah satunya perilaku mind wandering. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan, peran, dan perbedaan antara sleep quality dan usia terhadap mind wandering ketika berkendara. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 259 pengemudi mobil yang berusia 18 sampai 50 tahun dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Pengukuran variabel mind wandering menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari “The Four Factors of Mind Wandering (4FMW) Questionnaire dan sleep quality menggunakan alat ukur “Sleep Quality Scale”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sleep quality, usia, dan mind wandering. Selain itu, sleep quality dan usia memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap mind wandering (R = 0.240, F(2, 259) = 41.633, p < 0.01) tetapi, hanya sleep quality yang menunjukan peran signifikan terhadap mind wandering. Usia tidak ditemukan memiliki peran ketika dilihat secara bersamaan dengan sleep quality terhadap mind wandering ketika berkendara pada pengendara mobil di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menunjukan semakin buruk sleep quality individu, maka semakin tinggi kecenderungannya untuk mengalami mind wandering ketika berkendara.

Human factors contribute to 61 percent of accident cases in Indonesia, primarily occurring when drivers are distracted from their driving activities, one of which is mind wandering. This study aims to examine the relationship, role, and differences between sleep quality and age on mind wandering while driving. The participants of this study were 259 car drivers aged 18 to 50 years and residing in Jabodetabek. The measurement of mind wandering variables used a tool adapted from "The Four Factors of Mind Wandering (4FMW) Questionnaire," and sleep quality was measured using the "Sleep Quality Scale." The results showed a significant relationship between sleep quality, age, and mind wandering. Additionally, sleep quality and age have a significant role in mind wandering (R = 0.240, F(2, 259) = 41.633, p < 0.01); however, only sleep quality showed a significant role in mind wandering. Age was not found to have a role when viewed together with sleep quality on mind wandering while driving among car drivers in Jabodetabek. The results indicate that the worse an individual's sleep quality, the higher their tendency to experience mind wandering while driving."

Konsumsi alkohol telah menjadi isu masyarakat baik di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Namun informasi mengenai data besaran masalah dan peningkatan konsumsi masih minim. Permasalahan konsumsi alkohol selama mengemudi yang berisiko menimbulkan fatalitas kecelakaan lalu lintas juga belum menjadi prioritas mengingat belum adanya produk hukum yang mengatur tentang batas ambang kadar alkohol dalam darah pada pengemudi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan
mengumpulkan berbagai data yang terkait penggunaan alkohol pada pengemudi di Indonesia, melakukan review terhadap kebijakan negara lain yang telah menetapkan peraturan kadar alkohol dalam darah pada pengemudi dan implementasinya, serta melakukan survei persepsi masyarakat terhadap penggunaan alkohol selama mengemudi. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan analisa data kualitatif dengan sumber data baik primer maupun sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan permasalahan penggunaan alkohol selama mengemudi di Indonesia perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus. Berbagai pengalaman dari negara lain telah banyak bukti yang menunjukkan bahwa penetapan dan penegakan hukum terkait BAC dapat mengurangi fatalitas kecelakaan lalu lintas akibat pengaruh alkohol. Studi persepsi terhadap masyarakat pengguna/pengonsumsi minuman beralkohol dan mengemudi di tiga kota besar di Indonesia secara umum menunjukkan dukungan yang positif terhadap ditetapkannya peraturan kadar alkohol pada pengemudi di Indonesia. Untuk itu perlu segera ditetapkan suatu peraturan yang mengatur kadar alkohol dalam darah yang diperbolehkan bagi pengemudi, yang didukung dengan implementasi penegakan hukum yang ketat, promosi dan edukasi masyarakat.

ABSTRACT
Alcohol consumption has become a public issue in the world and also in Indonesia. However, there are not enough data to describe the magnitude of problem and increased consumption. Drinkdriving
can cause fatality risk of traffic accidents, but it is still not a priority since the absence of laws regulating the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) in drivers. This research was conducted by collecting a variety of data related to the use of alcohol among drivers in Indonesia, conduct a
review of the policies of other countries that have established regulations of BAC and its implementation, as well as to conduct a survey of public perception of alcohol using during driving. This is a descriptive study with qualitative data analysis with data sources from both primary and secondary. The results showed the use of alcohol and drink-driving problem in Indonesia needs special attention. The experiences of other countries have a lot of evidence to show that the determination and law enforcement related to BAC may reduce the fatality traffic accidents due to drink driving. Survey of public perceptions of the user/consumer of alcoholic beverages and driving in three major cities in Indonesia in general show positive support for the
enactment of legislation on BAC in Indonesia. "Latar belakang: Kecelakaan bus dan truk tahun 2019 tercatat 500 peristiwa dengan 119 korban jiwa. Penyebab kecelakaan 60% berasal dari faktor manusia. Salah satunya adalah dangerous driving behavior dan kualitas tidur. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas tidur dan faktor lain terhadap dangerous driving behavior pada pengemudi bus antar kota antar provinsi (AKAP).
Metode: Dilakukan pada Oktober 2022, desain analitik potong lintang. Metode consecutive sampling digunakan dengan minimal 78 pengemudi bus. Instrumen yang digunakan Dula Dangerous Driving Behavior Index (DDDI) dan Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) telah di validasi dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Analisa multivariat regresi logistik digunakan untuk memprediksi faktor dominan.
Hasil: Total 133 pengemudi bus komersial, 55,6% mempunyai kualitas tidur buruk dan dangerous driving behavior rendah-sangat rendah (83,5%). Kualitas tidur memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan dangerous driving behavior (p-value=0,03, aOR (adjusted Odds Ratio=9,1). Faktor lain yakni kebiasaan merokok (p=0,01, aOR=26). Nilai R square yang didapat adalah 0,48.
Kesimpulan: Pengemudi dengan kualitas tidur buruk dan dangerous driving behavior tinggi mempunyai proporsi lebih kecil. Namun ada hubungan antara keduanya dimana semakin buruk kualitas tidur pengemudi maka beresiko lebih tinggi berperilaku dangerous driving behavior. Faktor resiko lain yang berhubungan adalah kebiasaan merokok.

Background: There were 500 bus and truck accidents in 2019 with 119 fatalities. 60% of accidents are caused by the human factor. One of them is dangerous driving behavior and sleep quality. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and other factors on dangerous driving behavior among intercity bus drivers.
Method: Performed in October 2022, cross-sectional analytical design. The consecutive sampling method was used with a minimum of 78 bus drivers. The instruments used by the Dula Dangerous Driving Behavior Index (DDDI) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) have been validated in Indonesian. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to predict the dominant factor.
Results: Of a total of 133 commercial bus drivers, 55.6% had poor sleep quality and low-very low dangerous driving behavior (83.5%). Sleep quality has a significant relationship with dangerous driving behavior (p-value=0.03, aOR (adjusted Odds Ratio=9.1). Another factor is smoking habits (p=0.01, aOR=26). R square value obtained is 0.48.
Conclusion: Drivers with poor sleep quality and high dangerous driving behavior have a smaller proportion. However, there is a relationship between the two where the poorer the sleep quality of the driver, the higher the risk of dangerous driving behavior. Another related risk factor is smoking habit.

"Driver Performance merupakan hasil dari perilaku pengemudi bus yang dibandingkan dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan dimana hal tersebut menjadi penting untuk dikenali terkait potensi terjadinya kecelakaan yang disebabkan oleh faktor manusia. Pada tahun 2016 terdapat 22 kasus kecelakaan di Perum DAMRI bandara yang diakibatkan oleh faktor manusia baik pengemudi itu sendiri maupun pengendara jalan lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran serta hubungan antara faktor pekerjaan dan non pekerjaan driver performance pada pengemudi bus DAMRI UAKB Soekarno-Hatta Trayek Bogor. Variabel yang termasuk dalam faktor non pekerjaan yang diteliti meliputi usia, tingkat pendidikan, dan pengalaman mengemudi. Sedangkan variabel yang termasuk dalam faktor pekerjaan yang diteliti meliputi durasi kerja, waktu istirahat, kondisi kendaraan, dan kondisi jalan. Penelitian ini bersifar deskriptif observasional dengan desain pendekatan cross sectional. Penilaian driver performance dilakukan pada 57 responden dan diukur berdasarkan standar nasional pengemudi bus yang dikeluarkan oleh Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency DVSA tahun 2014 dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 77,2 pengemudi memiliki driver performance dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji statististik didapatkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan driver performance adalah kondisi kendaraan dan kondisi jalan.

The Driver Performance is the result of the bus driver behaviour compared to the predetermined standard where it becomes important to recognize the potential for accidents caused by human factors. In 2016 there are 22 cases of accidents at Perum DAMRI airport caused by human factors both the driver itself and other road riders. This study aims to determine the description and the relationship between non work related and work related factors of the driver performance in DAMRI bus driver UAKB Soekarno Hatta Bogor Route. The variables in the non work related factors include age, education, and driving experience. While the variables in work related factors included include duration of work, rest time, vehicle condition, and road conditions. This research is descriptive observational with cross sectional approach design. Performance driver assessment was conducted on 57 respondents and measured according to the national standards of bus drivers issued by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA in 2014 using a questionnaire. The results showed that 77.2 of drivers had driver performance in either category. Based on the results of statistical tests obtained factors associated with driver performance is the condition of the vehicle and road conditions."

"Beberapa penelitian di dalam maupun luar Indonesia sudah menemukan adanya perbedaan perilaku berkendara antara masa sebelum pandemi dan saat pandemi. Namun, studi yang membandingkan perilaku berkendara masa pandemi dan masa setelah pandemi masih minim dan baru dilakukan di luar negeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan persepsi terhadap kondisi lalu lintas, persepsi risiko, perilaku berkendara berisiko pengendara, serta perilaku berkendara berisiko pengendara lain antara masa saat dan setelah pandemi pada pengendara sepeda motor usia dewasa muda. Partisipan pada penelitian (n=111) berdomisili di jabodetabek dan setiap variabel diukur dengan kuesioner self-report. Hasil paired samples t-test menunjukkan bahwa persepsi risiko dan perilaku berkendara berisiko pengendara lain mengalami peningkatan setelah pandemi, sementara persepsi terhadap kondisi lalu lintas menjadi lebih negatif. Namun, tidak ditemukan perubahan perilaku berkendara berisiko pengendara setelah pandemi. Implikasinya, adaptasi pengelolaan lalu lintas setelah pandemi sebaiknya difokuskan pada peningkatan kualitas jalan ketimbang pada penindakkan terhadap perilaku berisiko di jalan.

Several studies conducted within and outside of Indonesia have found differences in driving behavior between the pre-pandemic and during pandemic periods. However, studies comparing driving behavior during and after the pandemic are still lacking and have only been conducted abroad. This study aims to compare perceptions of traffic conditions, risk perception, risky driving behavior of riders, and risky driving behavior of other drivers between the time of and after the pandemic in young adult motorcyclists. Participants in the study (n = 111) were domiciled in Jabodetabek and each variable was measured using a self-report questionnaire. The results of the paired samples t-test show that other drivers' perceptions of risk and risky driving behavior have increased after the pandemic, while perceptions of traffic conditions have become more negative. However, no change in risky driving behavior was found after the pandemic. The implication is that post-pandemic traffic management adaptations should be focused on improving road quality rather than on taking action against risky behavior on the road."

"Berbagai penelitian sebelumnya telah mengidentifikasi adanya perbedaan kondisi lalu lintas dan perilaku berkendara sebelum dan saat pandemi sebagai dampak dari kebijakan pembatasan sosial. Sayangnya, studi yang meneliti perbedaan kondisi lalu lintas dan perilaku berkendara di Indonesia saat dan setelah pandemi masih cukup minim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan persepsi pengendara terhadap kondisi lalu lintas, persepsi risiko, dan perilaku berkendara berisiko pada diri sendiri dan pengendara lain pada pengendara sepeda motor berusia dewasa menengah antara saat dan setelah terjadinya pandemi. Partisipan adalah 118 pengendara sepeda motor usia 26-40 tahun di Jabodetabek. Dari analisis paired sample t-test, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lalu lintas dipersepsikan semakin negatif setelah pandemi. Di sisi lain persepsi risiko, perilaku berkendara berisiko pada diri sendiri maupun pengendara lain setelah pandemi lebih  tinggi dibandingkan saat pandemi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diperlukan adanya intervensi pada masa setelah pandemi untuk menurunkan perilaku berkendara berisiko dan mengkampanyekan perilaku berkendara yang aman, khususnya pada pengendara sepeda motor.

Previous studies have identified differences in traffic conditions and driving behavior before and during pandemic as a result of social restriction policies. Unfortunately, studies that examine differences in traffic conditions and driving behavior in Indonesia during and after the pandemic are still quite hard to find. Therefore, this study aims to examine differences in drivers' perceptions of traffic conditions, risk perception, and their own and others’ risky driving behavior in middle adult motorcyclists between during and after the pandemic. This study involved 118 motorcyclists aged 26-40 years in Jabodetabek. From the analysis of paired sample t-test, this study shows that traffic conditions are perceived to be more negative after the pandemic. On the other hand, risk perception, drivers’ own and others’ risky driving behavior after the pandemic are higher than during pandemic. Based on the results of this study, interventions to reduce risky driving behavior and campaigns for safe driving behavior are needed, especially for motorcyclists."

"ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara efikasi-diri dalam berkendara dan perilaku berkendara berisiko pada pengendara sepeda motor usia remaja. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 130 pengendara sepeda motor yang merupakan siswa SMA berusia 15 sampai 18 tahun remaja, dan berdomisili Jabodetabek. Pengukuran efikasi-diri dalam berkendara menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari Adelaide Driving Self-Efficacy Scale ADSES yang dikembangkan oleh George, Clark dan Crotty 2007. Sedangkan untuk pengukuran perilaku berkendara berisiko menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari alat ukur Risky Driving Behavior Questionnaire yang dikembangkan oleh Chang dan Yeh 2007. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dalam berkendara dan perilaku berkendara berisiko pada pengendara sepeda motor usia remaja. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi efikasi-diri berkendara individu, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan individu untuk melakukan perilaku berkendara berisiko pada pengendara sepeda motor usia remaja.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to examine the relationship between Driving Self Efficacy and Risky Driving Behavior Among Adolescent Motorcyclists. Participants are 130 high school students in Greater Jakarta, aged 15 to 18 years adolescence, motorcyclists. The measurement of Driving Self Efficacy using adaptation of Adelaide Driving Self Efficacy Scale ADSES developed by George, Clark and Crotty 2007 while for Risky Driving Behavior measurement using adaptation of Risky Driving Behavior Questionnaire developed by Chang and Yeh 2007 . The results showed that there are positive and significant correlation between driving self efficacy and risky driving behavior among adolescent motorcyclists."

"Penelitian ini membahas persepsi keselamatan berkendara sepeda motor pada penumpang ojek online. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain potong lintang pada 120 responden penumpang ojek online yang berasal dari DKI Jakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuisioner dan wawancara mendalam, dilakukan analisis univariat dan bivariat antara variabel independen dan dependen.
Hasil yang diperoleh, terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan persepsi keselamatan berkendara pada penumpang ojek online dengan nilai p<0.05, sedangkan pada variabel sikap, motivasi, pemahaman pada driver, kendaraan, lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan sosial tidak ada hubungan dengan p> 0,05. Keselamatan berkendara sepeda motor belum menjadi prioritas dalam berkendara bagi penumpang ojek online.

The study was to determine the perception of safety riding on the motorcycle taxi online passangers. This study was conducted using cross-sectional design of the 120 respondents motorcycle taxi online passangers from Jakarta. Data was collected by questionnaire and in-depth interviews, conducted univariate and bivariate analysis between independent and dependent variables.
There is an association of knowledge to the perception of road safety on motorcycle taxi online passangers with p value of <0.05, while in the variable of attitude, motivation, understanding on the driver, the vehicle, the physical environment and the social environment there is no association with p> 0.05. Safety riding has not been a priority in passenger travel on motorcycle taxis online.
