"Penelitian ini berfokus pada pentingnya penerapan prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik dan efektif pada PT. XYZ. Tata kelola perusahaan yang efektif merupakan landasan penting pertumbuhan suatu perusahaan. Peranan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Komisaris merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam tata kelola perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peranan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Komisaris, kepatuhan terhadap peraturan regulasi yang ada pada industri pelayaran. Evaluasi pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Komisaris dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif berupa studi kasus, dengan menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan langsung dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber, dan juga mengobservasi kegiatan yang terjadi didalam perusahaan, serta menggunakan data sekunder berupa instrumen dokumentasi. Narasumber yang diwawancara pada penelitian ini merupakan manajemen kunci perusahaan yang terdiri dari Komisaris dan Direksi perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa jumlah komisaris di PT. XYZ yang hanya terdiri dari satu orang menjadi kekurangan signifikan. Keterbatasan ini berdampak pada efektivitas pengawasan dan tata kelola perusahaan, mengingat pentingnya peran Dewan Komisaris dalam menjalankan fungsi pengawasan pada perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil temuan ini, PT. XYZ direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan jumlah anggota Dewan Komisaris untuk yang ada pada PT. XYZ. Hal ini akan membantu meningkatkan efektivitas pengawasan dan tata kelola perusahaan, serta memastikan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik. Penelitian ini juga memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya peranan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Dewan Komisaris dalam konteks tata kelola perusahaan.

This research focuses on the importance of implementing good and effective corporate governance principles at PT. XYZ. Effective corporate governance is an essential foundation for a company's growth. The supervisory role carried out by the board of commissioner is one of the important aspects of corporate governance. This study also aims to evaluate the supervisory role of the Board of Commissioner and compliance with existing regulatory regulations in the shipping industry. The evaluation of the Board's supervision is conducted using a qualitative approach in the form of a case study, utilizing primary data obtained directly by conducting interviews with informants, and observing activities within the company, as well as using secondary data in the form of documentation instruments. The informants interviewed in this study are key company management consisting of Commissioner and Directors of the company. This research found that the number of commissioner at PT. XYZ, consisting of only one person, is a significant deficiency. This limitation impacts the effectiveness of supervision and corporate governance, considering the importance of the Board of Commissioner' role in carrying out supervisory functions in the company. Based on these findings, PT. XYZ is recommended to increase the number of Board of Commissioner members at PT. XYZ. This will help improve the effectiveness of supervision and corporate governance, as well as ensure compliance with the principles of good corporate governance. This study also provides insights into the importance of the supervisory role conducted by the Board of Commissioner in the context of corporate governance."

"ABSTRAK:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Leader-member Exchange sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara taktik sosialisasi atasan dengan newcomer attitudes. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bank XYZ dengan jumlah responden sebesar 107 orang yang merupakan newcomer pada bank tersebut. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa persepsi newcomer tentang LMX memediasi hubungan antara Taktik Sosialisasi Atasan ke dua newcomer attitudes yakni, Occupational Identification dan Person-organization Fit, namun tidak halnya ke Job Satisfaction.

ABSTRACT:The purpose of this research is to examine the role of leader-member exchange (LMX) as a mediator of supervisory socialization tactics and newcomer attitudes. By using purposive sampling technique, this research was conducted in Bank XYZ with 107 respondents who are newcomers. Data analysis used Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with Partial Least Square (PLS) method. This research found that newcomer perception of LMX mediates the relationship between supervisory socialization tactics and two newcomer attitudes, which are Occupational Identification and Person-organization Fit. The mediating role does not apply to another newcomer attitude, Job Satisfaction. "

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengembangan kapasitas DPD RI dalam pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan. DPD RI memiliki tiga fungsi yaitu legislasi, pengawasan dan pertimbangan. Ketiga fungsi ini harus dapat dilaksanakan secara seimbang dan berdasarkan peraturan perundang-undangan. Dalam pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan perlu didukung oleh kapasitas organisasi yang memadai, untuk mendukung pelaksanaan pengawasan dimulai dari penyerapan aspirasi masyarakat dan daerah hingga mencapai hasil pengawasan DPD RI. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengembangan kapasitas DPD RI dalam pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengembangan kapasitas DPD RI dalam pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan post positivist menggunakan studi literatur terkait pengembangan kapasitas dan pengawasan legislatif. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kapasitas DPD RI sudah optimal. Hal ini dilihat dari beberapa aspek pengembangan kapasitas yang sudah memadai yaitu realisasi anggaran sesuai dengan perencanaan anggaran. Perencanaan strategis terhadap pelaksanaan fungsi pengawasan untuk mendukung visi dan misi DPD RI. Pemimpin yang mendukung fungsi pengawasan. Program pengawasan yang terencana tidak tumpang tindih. Terintegrasinya komunikasi antara DPD RI dengan pihak eksternal dan internal. Adapun aspek yang belum maksimal dalam pengembangan kapasitasnya yaitu pengembangan pengetahuan Sumber Daya Manusia terkait pengawasan karena anggaran yang terbatas, pengelolaan staf yang masih belum sesuai antara formasi dan beban kerja, dan penggunaan teknologi yang masih terbatas.

This research discusses the capacity development of DPD RI in the implementation of supervisory functions. DPD RI has three functions, namely legislation, supervision and consideration. These three functions must be implemented in a balanced manner and based on laws and regulations. In the implementation of the supervisory function, it needs to be supported by adequate organizational capacity, to support the implementation of supervision starting from the absorption of community and regional aspirations to achieving the results of DPD RI supervision. The question of this research is how to develop the capacity of DPD RI in the implementation of supervisory functions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the capacity development of DPD RI in the implementation of supervisory functions. This research uses a qualitative method with a post-positivist approach using literature studies related to capacity building and legislative supervision. Research shows that DPD RI capacity development is optimal. This can be seen from several aspects of adequate capacity development, namely budget realization in accordance with budget planning. Strategic planning for the implementation of supervisory functions to support the vision and mission of DPD RI. Leaders who support supervisory functions. Planned surveillance programs do not overlap. Integrated communication between DPD RI and external and internal parties. The aspects that have not been maximized in capacity development are the development of Human Resources knowledge related to supervision due to limited budgets, staff management that is still not suitable between formation and workload, and the use of technology that is still limited."

"Reformasi pemerintahan di Indonesia telah menghasilkan sistem politik yang secara formal lebih demokratis, yaitu suatu sistem pemerintahan yang memungkinkan munculnya partai politik yang beas dari kontrol penguasa dan bersifat konpetitif satu sama lain. Disamping itu dalam masyarakat muncul gejala ketidakpercayaan baik terhadap para pemimpin maupun birokrasi pemerintahan, dan ada kecenderungan berbagai usur dalam masyarakat menjadi apatis dan ada pula cenderung untuk memaksakan kehendak mereka, sehingga mudah terjerumus kepada tindakan anarkhis. Keadaan ini jelas tidak menguntungkan bagi upaya pembangunan di semua sektor."

"Dewan Pengawas Syariah (DPS) sebagai salah satu organ pengawas dalam institusi perbankan syariah mempunyai fungsi dan peranan yang sangat penting, terutama dalam pengawasan yang menyangkut prinsip syariah. Untuk mengoptimalkan pengawasannya, maka DPS perlu menerapkan prinsip Good Corporate Governance di dalam proses pengawasan dan pemeriksaannya. Dalam laporan ini dijelaskan mengenai kebijakan tata kelola perusahaan PT XYZ, prosedur penilaian yang dilakukan oleh KAP MMM dan temuan atas penilaian beserta analisisnya. Berdasarkan penilaian atas tata kelola perusahaan ditemukan adanya beberapa kriteria yang hanya diterapkan secara parsial. Analisis pada laporan magang ini menyimpulkan bahwa PT XYZ telah menerapkan Tata Kelola Perusahaan yang Baik dengan bagus secara normatif.

"Penelitian ini mempelajari tentang dampak strategi diversifikasi terhadap kinerja dengan efektivitas Dewan Komisaris sebagai moderasinya. Diversifikasi diukur menggunakan Herfindahl index dan jumlah segmen. Kinerja perusahaan diukur dengan menggunakan Return on Asset. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel perusahaan non-finansial yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2013. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi diversifikasi memberikan efek negatif terhadap kinerja perusahaan dan memiliki efek kuadratik pada kinerja perusahaan. Namun demikian, efektivitas Dewan Komisaris mampu memoderasi hubungan antara strategi diversifikasi dan kinerja perusahaan.

This study examines the impact of diversification strategy on firm's performance with Board of Commissioners effectiveness as moderating variable. Diversification is measured using Herfindahl index and segment quantity. Firm's performance is measured using Return on Asset. This research use non-financial companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2013 financial period as its sample. The result of this research indicates that diversification strategy gives negative effect to firm's performance and that diversification strategy has a quadratic relationship with firm's performance. However, Board of Commissioners effectiveness managed to moderate this relationship between diversification strategy and firm's performance."

"ABSTRAKTujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh dari dewan komisaris independen dan konsentrasi kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga melihat interaksi dari dewan komisaris independen dengan konsentrasi kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan di Indonesia. Kinerja perusahaan diukur menggunakan dua rasio yaitu ROA dan Tobin rsquo;s Q. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dewan komisaris independen berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Konsentrasi kepemilikan berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap ROA dan signifikan positif terhadap Tobin rsquo;s Q. Interaksi dewan komisaris independen dengan konsentrasi kepemilikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan tidak signifkan dengan koefisien negatif.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to identify the effect of board of independent commissioner and ownership concentration on firm performance in Indonesia. In addition, this study also examines the interaction between board of independent commissioner and ownership concentration towards firm performance in Indonesia. The ratios used to measure firm performance are ROA and Tobin rsquo s Q. The study found that board of independent commissioner positively significant related to firm performance. Ownership concentration is negatively significant related to ROA and positively significant related to Tobin rsquo s Q. The interaction between board of independent commissioner and ownership concentration towards firm performance is positively insignificant."

"Corporate Leader Academy (APP) is a high level education that formed is academy and states owner by Indonesian Industrial Department. That institution is part of high level education bureaucrat that categorize by saves is a public goods. As we can say APP have a responsibility to take car good service quality and professional in the order that APP must available good service quality and professional, cause of it APP must do the good governance paradigm in daily operation on that environment. So, the APP implemented good government paradigm in that surround. APP can expected to participation of community force, to open they are mind or transparency to responsible all the policy actions to the community, and more effective and efficient in the management process and resources allocation. In the past, the researched about the relationship of good governance practice versus quality service for the student in the APP institution research, good governance is indifferent variable (X), with 4 (four) kind of indicators that is: efficiency, accountability participation and transparency. In the other hand, service-quality is formed in depend (Y), variable, with uses five indicators that is: Tangibles, reliability, responsibility, assurance and empathy. The result of this research get some points of quality o effectiveness 47,89%, accountability 44,97%, transparency 46,61%, and participants 36,52%. Best of the average that the quality of good governance practiced that involve APP according to the respondent. With some student of APP, only 43,94% from the analysis. Otherwise in the quality of the student service get the percentage 45,08% from the reliability indicator, 44,27% from responsibility indicator, 48,89% from the assurance indicators and 44,57% from the empathy indicator practicing. Based of the research result we can see it need the more service or the employ and lectures an APP. The quality of good governance it only 43,94% must be improved it. Efficiency must be built focused to procedure efficiency. APP has to short bureaucrat line toward to the student services. These this can be helped with the minimize procedure and involved student for finding the service or it can use exactly technology, Internet facility. Accountability can improve transparency. APP must open the opportunity of student to follow participate or giving the suggestion about how to built student service quality both individuality of organization. In another way student service quality sector in APP only 45,08% this things still under of the standard of the students min then APP has improve five indicators. From physics indicator or tangible consist of APP must improve the facilities for students. Responsibility indicator, reliability, assurance, and empathy can be improved it with the training that functions ability, competency, staff skills and APP lectures with the punish and reward systems for motivating staff and APP lectures to work be better with finally good quality of student service in APP. From the measurements about the relation of good governance practice and student service quality get are point 0,803. it means that between good governance practice and students service quality have positive and strong significant in means if good governance practice more improved it, it can improve student service quality APP."
