"The book provides copyright protection approaches for videos using watermarking. The various watermarking techniques using various transforms such as discrete cosine transform (DCT), discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and singular value decomposition (SVD) for videos are presented. The book also provides video watermarking approach using compressive sensing (CS) theory. The presented watermarking techniques are designed and implemented using color digital videos. The performance of the presented techniques is evaluated using Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Normalized Correlation (NC)."

"Perkembangan teknologi informasi mengakibatkan suatu citra yang direpresentasikan dalam format digital menjadi lebih mudah disebarluaskan dan dimanipulasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat mendeteksi dan sekaligus memperbaiki citra digital termanipulasi. Dalam makalah ini, teknik watermarking menggunakan Absolute Moment Block Truncation Coding (AMBTC) dan Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) ditawarkan sebagai solusi permasalahan tersebut. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi dan memperbaiki manipulasi pada citra yang berukuran satu piksel, garis, maupun blok dengan tingkatan warna yang berbeda. Sistem dapat memperbaikinya sampai 99% dan dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi serangan berupa salt and pepper atau sharperning."

"This book covers newly developed and novel Steganography techniques and algorithms. The book outlines techniques to provide security to a variety of applications using Steganography, with the goal of both hindering an adversary from decoding a hidden message, and also preventing an adversary from suspecting the existence of covert communications. The book looks into applying these newly designed and improved algorithms to provide a new and efficient Steganographic system, called Characteristic Region-Based Image Steganography (CR-BIS). The algorithms combine both the robustness of the Speeded-Up Robust Features technique (SURF) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to achieve characteristic region Steganography synchronization. The book also touches on how to avoid hiding data in the whole image by dynamically selecting characteristic regions for the process of embedding.

Judul               : Perlindungan Hak Cipta Bagi Digital Audio Sampling di Indonesia

Tesis ini membahas mengenai perlindungan hak cipta atas sebuah hasil rekaman suara yang kemudian dijadikan sebuah digital audio sampling untuk selanjutnya digunakan kembali dalam suatu karya yang baru. Digital audio sampling ini memberikan kemudahan dan sebagai alternatif untuk memproduksi musik agar lebih efektif dari segi waktu, tenaga dan biaya, tanpa harus mempekerjakan musisi untuk melakukan rekaman dan membayar biaya sewa studio rekaman, maka para pencipta lagu maupun produser dapat menghemat banyak sekali biaya produksi yang seharusnya dikeluarkan. Di Indonesia pun sudah sangat popular dalam penggunaan sampling tersebut, dari sampling alat musik pada umumnya seperti strings, drum, gitar, bass, piano, alat tiup hingga alat musik tradisional. Namun Undang-Undang Hak Cipta belum sepenuhnya mengakomodir pengaturan mengenai rekaman suara maka keberadaan pembuatan hingga penggunaan digital audio sampling. Begitu juga fenomena keberadaan samplingalat musik tradisional Indonesia yang sudah banyak diproduksi oleh pihak asing dan dijual secara online, Undang – Undang Pemajuan Kebudayaan mempunyai pengaturan mengenai pengamanan namun impelementasi dari Pemerintah masih belum maksimal sehingga fenomena tersebut masih terus berlangsung, dikhawatirkan akan merugikan Indonesia karena komersialisasi yang tidak diawasi langsung oleh negara Indonesia sebagai pemilik ha katas kebudayaan tradisional tersebut.

This thesis discusses the protection of copyright for a sound recording which is used as a digital audio sampling who re-used in a new project. Digital audio sampling is an alternative to producing music to be more effective in terms of time, effort and cost, without have to hire recording musicians and pay the rental fees for recording studios. Songwriters and producers can save a lot of production cost. In Indonesia, it has been very popular sampling, from sampling musical instruments in general such as strings, drums, guitars, basses, pianos, wind instruments until traditional musical instruments. However, Undang-Undang HakCiptahas not fully accommodated the protection regarding sound recording, the existence of the manufacture to the use of digital audio sampling. Likewise, the phenomenon of the existence of sampling Indonesian traditional musical instruments that have been produced by foreign parties, Undang-Undang Pemajuan Kebudayaanhas arrangements regarding safety, but implementation from the Government is still not optimal so that the phenomenon continues until now, it is feared that it will harm Indonesia due to commercialization which was not directly monitored by the Indonesian state as the owner of the traditional culture.
