"Tingkat aktivitas fisik merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan yang penting. Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2018, Provinsi DKI Jakarta menempati posisi pertama pada proporsi tingkat aktivitas fisik kurang pada anak usia lebih dari 10 tahun. Gangguan tidur memiliki korelasi dengan penurunan performa akademik siswa pada sekolah dasar, peningkatan risiko depresi, dan juga ketidakseimbangan emosional. Berdasarakan penelitian oleh Hermoniati et al., Prevalensi gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah di Kota Jakarta Pusat sebesar 25,1%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan tingkat aktivitas fisik dan gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi potong lintang dengan menggunakan sub data sekunder dari penelitian SEANUTS 2.0 dengan jumlah sub-sampel sebesar 104 anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat aktivitas fisik paling dominan secara berurutan adalah tingkat aktivitas fisik rendah (50%), tingkat aktivitas fisik sedang (42,30%), dan tingkat aktivitas fisik tinggi (7,6%). Gangguan tidur terjadi pada 55,77% dari total sampel. Secara bivariat terdapat korelasi lemah antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dan gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah di Provinsi DKI Jakarta dengan nilai r = -0,05 dan tidak signifikan dengan nilai p = 0,617. Selain itu, dilakukan juga uji korelasi terhadap aktivitas fisik dan sub-gangguan tidur dengan hasil gangguan memulai dan mempertahankan tidur (r = -0,068), gangguan pernapasan saat tidur (r = 0,017), gangguan kesadaran (r = -0,023), gangguan transisi tidur-bangun (r = 0,061), gangguan somnolen berlebihan (r = -0,83), dan gangguan saat tidur (r = -0,176). Oleh karena itu, intervensi terhadap aktivitas fisik demi mencegah kejadian gangguan tidur perlu dilakukan. Tenaga kesehatan dan tenaga pendidik pada sekolah dasar diharapkan mengetahui dan memahami pentingkat tingkat aktivitas fisik terhadap pencegahan gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah.

The level of physical activity is an important indicator of health. Based on Riskesdas 2018, DKI Jakarta Province occupies the first position in the proportion of the level of physical activity that is lacking in children aged more than 10 years. The research design used was a cross-sectional study using secondary data from the SEANUTS 2.0 study with a sub-sample of 104 children. The results showed that the most dominant levels of physical activity, respectively, were low levels of physical activity (50%), moderate levels of physical activity (42.30%), and high levels of physical activity (7.6%). Sleep disturbances occurred in 55.77% of the total sample. Bivariately there is a weak correlation between the level of physical activity and sleep disturbances in schoolage children in DKI Jakarta Province with a value of r = -0.05 and not significant with a value of p = 0.617. In addition, correlation tests were also conducted on physical activity and sleep sub-disorders with the results of disturbances in initiating and maintaining sleep (r = -0.068), sleep disturbances (r = 0.017), impaired consciousness (r = -0.023), transitional disorders sleep-wake (r = 0.061), excessive somnolence (r = -0.83), and sleep disturbances (r = -0.176). Therefore, intervention on physical activity to prevent sleep disturbances needs to be done. Health workers and educators in elementary schools are expected to know and understand the level of physical activity on the prevention of sleep disorders at school-age."

"Latar belakang: Pandemi coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) secara global menyebabkan pemerintah Indonesia untuk menerapkan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) sebagai upaya pencegahan transmisi COVID-19. Kebijakan ini berdampak pada perubahan gaya hidup anak melalui penutupan sekolah dan fasilitas rekreasional sehingga terjadi penurunan aktivitas fisik dan perubahan pola tidur anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah dasar di masa pandemi COVID-19.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional yang dilakukan pada 437 subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder tahun 2020 yang menggunakan Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) dan Children Sleep Habits Questionnaire-Abbreviated (CSHQ-A). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 60,87% subjek tidak aktif dan sebanyak 73,23% subjek mengalami gangguan tidur selama pandemi COVID-19. Hasil uji analisis statistik menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan tidur (p=0,248).
Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar anak usia sekolah dasar tidak aktif melakukan aktivitas fisik, kurang tidur pada hari biasa, tidur cukup pada akhir pekan, dan mengalami gangguan tidur selama pandemi COVID-19. Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara tingkat aktivitas fisik dengan gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah dasar selama pandemi COVID-19.

Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) globally affected the Indonesian government to implement the large-scale social restriction to prevent the COVID-19 transmission. The policy has altered children’s lifestyles through the closure of schools and recreational facilities which caused the decline in children’s physical activity level and the alteration of children’s sleep pattern. This study aims to determine the relationship between elementary school-aged children’s physical activity level and sleep disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: This study was conducted with a cross-sectional design on 437 subjects. The research used secondary data collected in 2020 to obtain the data through the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) and the Children Sleep Habits Questionnaire-Abbreviated (CSHQ-A). The data were analyzed using the Chi-square analysis test.
Result: This study showed that 60,87% of the subjects were not physically active and 73,23% of the subjects had sleep disorders. The statistical analysis test showed no significant relationship (p 0.05) between children’s physical activity level and sleep disorders.
Conclusion: The majority of elementary school-aged children were not physically active and had sleep disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic. There was not a significant relationship between elementary school-aged children’s physical activity level and sleep disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Prevalensi obesitas pada anak usia sekolah di DKI Jakarta adalah sebesar 14.0%. Ketidakseimbangan Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) dapat memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan melalui hormon ghrelin dan leptin sehingga dapat menyebabkan gangguan tidur pada anak. Prevalensi gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah di Jakarta Pusat adalah 25,1%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh IMT terhadap gangguan tidur pada anak usia sekolah di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain crosssecitonal dengan data sekunder diperoleh dari South-East Asian Nutrition Survey 2.0 (SEANUTS 2.0). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 104 anak usia 6-12 tahun yang terdiri dari 62 anak perempuan dan 42 anak laki-laki. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa IMT tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan tidur (p=0,135), sedangkan variabel lain yaitu kecemasan (p=0,000), berkeringat pada malam hari (p=0,013), dan persentase lemak (p=0,034) memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menyimpulkan bahwa variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap gangguan tidur adalah kecemasan (p=0,000) dan berkeringat pada malam hari (0,020). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa IMT tidak berpengaruh terhadap gangguan tidur pada anak Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk menyimpulkan faktor-faktor lain yang mendasari yang mungkin memengaruhi gangguan tidur pada anak-anak khususnya di Provinsi DKI Jakarta.

The prevalence of obesity in DKI Jakarta province is 14,0%. These imbalance in Body Mass Index (BMI) could affect growth development through imbalance of ghrelin and leptin, which could affect the quality of sleep and cause sleep disturbances in children. This study aims to determine the effect of BMI on sleep disturbances in school-aged children in DKI Jakarta Province. The design utilized in this study was a cross-sectional with data obtained from the South-East Asian Nutrition Survey 2.0 (SEANUTS 2.0). The subjects in this study were 104 children aged 6--12 years old, consisting of 62 girls and 42 boys. Bivariate analysis showed that BMI does not have a significant relationship with sleep disturbance (p=0.135), while other variables such as anxiety (p=0.000), sweating at night (p=0.013), and fat percentage (p=0.034) do have significant relationship. Results of multiple linear regression analysis conclude that variable with the influence for sleep disturbances are anxiety (p=0.000) and sweating at night (0.020). In conclusion, BMI does not affect sleep disturbances in children of DKI Jakarta Province. More research is needed to conclude other underlying factors that might affect sleep disturbances in children especially in DKI Jakarta."

"Kejadian obesitas semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu faktor yang berhubungan dengan obesitas adalah Kualitas tidur. Waktu tidur anak-anak di Indonesia saat ini rata-rata 6-7 jam dari kebutuhan jam tidurnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah kualitas tidur memengaruhi kejadian obesitas pada anak. Penelitian kohort prospektif ini menilai kualitas tidur dengan membuat catatan tidur anak yang diisi dalam satu bulan. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 4,5,6 SD yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok anak yang obesitas terdiri dari 19 responden sedangkan kelompok anak yang tidak obesitas 18 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode non probability snowball sampling. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa 12 dari 19 (63,2%) anak yang mengalami obesitas memiliki kualitas tidur buruk, sedangkan dari 18 anak yang tidak obesitas (normal) sebagian besar memiliki kualitas tidur baik, yaitu 15 anak (83,3%). Hasil uji statistik dengan uji Chi-Square diperoleh P value= 0,011 yang berarti ada hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan obesitas, dengan nilai OR=8,571 (95% CI: 1,818-40,423) yang berarti bahwa anak dengan kualitas tidur buruk berpeluang 8,6 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami obesitas dibandingkan anak dengan kualitas tidur baik. Berdasarkan penelitian diketahui ada hubungan pola makan, aktivitas fisik dan kualitas tidur dengan obesitas pada anak usia sekolah.bagi orangtua anak usia sekolah lebih memperhatikan kualitas tidur anak yang menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya obesitas, untuk tenaga kesehatan diharapkan dapat mesosialisasikan pentingnya kebutuhan dan kualitas tidur bagi penelitian selanjutnya dapat meneliti kualitas tidur pada anak balita.

The incidence of obesity is increasing from year to year. Sleep quality is thought to be one of the causes of obesity. Currently, children in Indonesia sleep an average of 6-7 hours of sleep. This study aims to analyze whether sleep quality affects the incidence of obesity in children. This prospective cohort study assessed whether sleep quality influenced obesity incidence by keeping sleep records for children filled in at one month. The obese children group consisted of 19 respondents while the non-obese group consisted of 18 respondents. The sample in this study were students in grade 4,5,6 SD from West Java and Sumatra. The sampling technique in this study used a non- probability snowball sampling method. The results of statistical tests showed that 12 out of 19 (63.2%) obese children had poor sleep quality, while most of 18 children who were not obese (normal) had good sleep quality, namely 15 (83.3%). The results of statistical tests with the Chi-Square test obtained P value = 0.011, which means that there is a relationship between sleep quality and obesity, with an OR = 8.571 (95% CI: 1,818-40,423) which means that children with poor sleep quality have a chance of 8.6 times more likely to be obese than children with good sleep quality. Based on the research, it is known that there is a relationship between diet, physical activity and sleep quality with obesity in school age children. Add recommendations."

"Latar belakang: Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan terbentuknya beberapa kebijakan oleh pemerintah guna mencegah penyebaran penyakit. Kebijakan yang dibuat berupa PSBB (pembatasan sosial berskala besar). PSBB ini menyebabkan semua aktivitas yang tidak mendesak dilakukan dari rumah termasuk sekolah. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan kebiasaan terhadap anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Perubahan kebiasaan tersebut berupa peningkatan penggunaan internet dan juga perubahan pola tidur. Orang tua yang memiliki anak usia sekolah dasar mengeluhkan bahwa sang anak menngalami penurunan kualitas tidur. Penurunan kualitas tidur dapat menjadi indikasi mengalami gangguan tidur yang kadang tidak disadari oleh sang anak dan orang tuanya. Gangguan tidur dapat berdampak kepada emosi, proses tumbuh kembang dan kognitifnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu diketahuinya hubungan aspek sosiodemografi terhadap gangguan tidur pada anak di sebelum dan selama pandemi Covid-19
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari projek SEANUTS II yang diambil dari anak usia 6-12 tahun di 22 Kabupaten/Kota di Indonesia. Jenis studi yang digunakan adalah before and after studies dengan uji yang digunakan adalah uji Chi-square, Uji normalitas, uji Kruskall-Wallis dan uji Mc-Nemar)
Hasil: Prevalensi gangguan tidur pada periode sebelum pandemi sebesar 41.82%, sedangkan prevalensi gangguan tidur saat pandemi mengalami penurunan dibanding sebelum pandemi menjadi 40.19%. Akan tetapi, hubungan antara gangguan tidur dengan pandemi Covid-19 tidak memiliki hubungan yang bermakna (p>0.05) Terjadinya peningkatan prevalensi gangguan tidur pada domain sleep-wake transisiton disorders dan diorders of excessive sonolence pada periode saat pandemi dibanding sebelum pandemi. Tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin dan usia dengan gangguan tidur baik sebelum pandemi dan saat pandemi (p > 0.05). Akan tetapi, pada variabel area tempat tinggal periode sebelum pandemi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan tidur (p < 0.05), sedangkan area tempat tinggal pada periode pandemi tidak memiliki hubungan yang siginifikan dengan gangguan tidur.
Kesimpulan: Terjadinya penurunan prevalensi gangguan tidur pada pandemi dibanding sebelum pandemi. Tidak ditemukannya hubungan yang signifikan antara usia dan jenis kelamin dengan gangguan tidur baik periode sebelum dan selama pandemi, sedangkan aspek area tempat tinggal memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan gangguan tidur hanya pada periode sebelum pandemi.

Introduction: The Covid-19 pandemic has led to the formation of several policies by the government to prevent the spread of the disease. The policy made is in the form of PSBB (large-scale social restrictions). This PSBB causes all non-urgent activities to be carried out from home, including school. This causes a change in the habits of elementary school-age children. Changes in these habits are in the form of increased use of the internet and also changes in sleep patterns. Parents who have elementary school-aged children complain that their children experience a decrease in sleep quality. Decreased sleep quality can be an indication of having a sleep disorder that is sometimes not realized by the child and his parents. Sleep disturbances can have an impact on emotions, growth, and cognitive processes. Therefore, it is necessary to know the relationship between sociodemographic aspects to sleep disorders in children before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Method: This study used secondary data from the SEANUTS II project taken from children aged 6-12 years in 22 districts/cities in Indonesia. The type of study used is before and after studies with the tests used are the Chi-square test, normality test, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mc-Nemar test)
Result: The prevalence of sleep disorders before the pandemic period was 41.82%, while the prevalence of sleep disorders during the pandemic was 41.82%. the pandemic has decreased compared to before the pandemic to 40.19%. However, the relationship between sleep disturbances and the Covid-19 pandemic was not significant (p>0.05). There was an increase in the prevalence of sleep disorders in the domain of sleep-wake transition disorders and orders of excessive somnolence during the pandemic period compared to before the pandemic. There was no significant relationship between sex and age with sleep disturbances before and during the pandemic (p > 0.05). However, the area of ​​residence in the pre-pandemic period had a significant relationship with sleep disturbances (p < 0.05), while the area of ​​residence during the pandemic period did not have a significant relationship with sleep disturbances.
Conclusion: There was a decrease in the prevalence of sleep disorders during the pandemic compared to before the pandemic. No significant relationship was found between age and sex with sleep disturbances both before and during the pandemic, while the area of ​​residence had a significant relationship with sleep disturbances only in the pre-pandemic period

"Latar Belakang: Gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial sampai saat ini masih cukup tinggi pada anak. Namun, penelitian mengenai hubungan antara gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial pada anak thalassemia belum banyak di publikasi di Indonesia. Penelitian sebelumnya menelaah hubungan antara gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial pada anak sehat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial pada anak thalassemia dengan perbedaan pada dua buah aspek, yaitu aspek penegakan diagnosis masalah psikososial dan kelompok sampel yang dipilih. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan antara gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial pada anak thalassemia. Metode: Penelitian observasional potong-lintang dengan sampel anak yang mengalami thalassemia major yang berobat ke Poliklinik Thalassemia/Ruang Transfusi RSCM pada Oktober 2022. Hasil: Dari 141 subjek, terdapat 87 subjek (61,7%) yang mengalami gangguan tidur dan 22 subjek (15,6%) yang mengalami masalah emosi perilaku. Hubungan antara gangguan tidur dan masalah psikososial pada anak thalassemia usia 6-15 tahun menunjukkan memiliki hubungan yang bermakna ( P<0.05). Kesimpulan: Anak thalassemia usia 6-15 tahun dengan gangguan tidur memiliki risiko 3,261 kali mengalami masalah psikososial (emosi dan perilaku).

Background: Sleep disorders and psychosocial problems are still quite high in children. However, research on the relationship between sleep disorders and psychosocial problems in thalassemia children has not been widely published in Indonesia. Previous research has examined the relationship between sleep disorders and psychosocial problems in healthy children. Based on this, the researchers wanted to find out whether there is a relationship between sleep disorders and psychosocial problems in thalassemia children with differences in two aspects, namely the aspect of establishing a diagnosis of psychosocial problems and the selected sample group. Purpose: To determine the relationship between sleep disorders and psychosocial problems in thalassemia children Methods: This is an observational cross-sectional study on children with thalassemia major who went to the Thalassemia Polyclinic/Transfusion Room RSCM in October 2022. Result: Of 141 subjects, there were 87 subjects (61.7%) had sleep disorders and 22 subjects (15.6%) had psychosocial problems. The association between sleep disorders and psychosocial problems in thalassemic children aged 6-15 years showed a significant association (P<0.05). Conclusion: Thalassemia children aged 6-15 years with sleep disorders have a 3.261 times the risk of experiencing psychosocial problems."

Desain penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional digunakan. Sampel siswa sekolah dasar sebanyak 79 responden dengan teknik random sampling. Analisa uji Pearson Correlation menghasilkan adanya hubungan yang lemah dan berpola negatif yang berarti semakin tinggi gangguan pola tidur maka semakin rendah prestasi belajar. Perawat dapat memberikan konseling kepada orang tua, sekolah, ataupun siswa terkait pola tidur yang baik serta upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar anak.

"Latar belakang. Gangguan tidur pada remaja memiliki prevalens yang tinggi dan dapat memengaruhi prestasi akademik di sekolah. Namun, sejauh ini di Indonesia, belum terdapat studi yang meneliti prestasi akademik pada remaja dengan gangguan tidur serta faktor yang berhubungan.
Tujuan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) prevalens dan pola gangguan tidur berdasarkan SDSC, (2) proporsi murid SMP dengan gangguan tidur yang memiliki prestasi akademik di bawah rerata, (3) hubungan antara: jenis kelamin, motivasi dan strategi belajar, nilai IQ, tingkat pendidikan ibu, tingkat sosial ekonomi keluarga, struktur keluarga, pendidikan di luar sekolah, adanya TV/komputer di kamar tidur, durasi tidur di hari sekolah, perbedaan waktu tidur dan bangun, dan prestasi akademik murid SMP dengan gangguan tidur.
Metode. Penelitian potong lintang analitik di lima SMP di Jakarta pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2013. Skrining gangguan tidur dengan kuesioner Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children dilakukan terhadap 491 orang murid SMP di Jakarta. Murid yang memenuhi kriteria gangguan tidur diminta mengisi kuesioner motivasi dan strategi pembelajaran. Peneliti meminta nilai IQ subjek penelitian.
Hasil. Terdapat 129 subjek yang memenuhi kriteria gangguan tidur. Empat orang subjek di drop-out karena tidak memiliki nilai IQ. Prevalens gangguan tidur sebesar 39,7% dengan jenis gangguan tidur terbanyak adalah gangguan memulai dan mempertahankan tidur (70,2%). Sebanyak 47,6% subjek memiliki prestasi akademik di bawah rerata. Sebagian besar subjek perempuan (71%), termasuk sosial ekonomi menengah ke bawah (58,9%), memiliki motivasi dan strategi belajar yang cukup (72,6%), dan mengikuti pendidikan di luar sekolah (87,9%). Tiga belas subjek yang memiliki nilai IQ di bawah rata-rata tidak diikutsertakan dalam analisis bivariat dan multivariat. Berdasarkan uji regresi logistik, faktor yang paling berhubungan dengan prestasi akademik di bawah rerata secara berurutan, yaitu pendidikan di luar sekolah (> 2 jenis, non-akademik), nilai IQ rata-rata, dan jenis kelamin lelaki.
Simpulan. Prevalens gangguan tidur pada murid SMP di Jakarta adalah 39,7% dengan jenis gangguan tidur terbanyak adalah gangguan memulai dan mempertahankan tidur. Sebanyak 47,6% subjek memiliki prestasi akademik di bawah rerata. Faktor yang terbukti berhubungan dengan prestasi akademik di bawah rerata adalah pendidikan di luar sekolah (> 2 jenis, non-akademik), nilai IQ rata-rata, dan jenis kelamin lelaki.

Background. Sleep disorders are prevalent in adolescents and may influence their academic achievement at school. However, in Indonesia, no research has ever been done to study academic achievement in students with sleep disorders and related factors.
Objectives. This study aimed to define: (1) the prevalence of sleep disorders and their patterns based on the SDSC questionnaire, (2) the proportion of junior high school students having low average academic achievement, (3) the relationship between factors; i.e gender, motivation and learning strategies, IQ level, mothers' educational level, socioeconomic level, family structure, non-formal education, TV/computer set inside the bedroom, sleep duration during schooldays, bedtimewakeup time difference; and the academic achievement in junior high school students with sleep disorders.
Method. This was an analytical cross-sectional study, performed at five junior high schools in Jakarta between January to March 2013. Screening for sleep disorders, based on the Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children questionnaires, was done in 491 junior high school students. Students who fulfilled the criteria of sleep disorders, were asked to fill in the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). The IQ level of each subjects was also measured.
Results. There were 129 subjects who fulfilled the sleep disorders criteria. Four subjects were dropped out due to they didn?t have IQ level. The prevalence of sleep disorder in this study was 39.7%, mostly difficulty in initiating and maintaining sleep (70.2%). There were 47.6% subjects had low average academic achievement. As many as 13 subjects had low average IQ level and were not included in bivariate and multivariate analysis. Subjects mostly female (71%), with middle-low income (58.9%), had moderate motivation and learning strategies (72.6%), and attended non-formal education (87.9%). Based on the logistic regression analysis, the most influencing factors to the low average academic achievement are consecutively: the non-formal education ( > 2 types, non-academic), the average IQ level, and male sex.
Conclusion. The prevalence of sleep disorders in junior high school students in Jakarta are 39.7%, mostly difficulty in initiating and maintaining sleep. There were 47.6% subjects had low average grade. Factors related to the low average academic achievement are non-formal education ( > 2 types, non-academic), the average IQ level, and male sex.

Metode: Penelitian quasi eksperimental di 3 SDN di Jakarta Pusat pada bulan Mei-Juni 2015. Skrining gangguan tidur menggunakan Sleep Disturbance Scale for Children (SDSC) dan Pediatric Daytime Sleepiness Scale (PDSS). Murid dengan gangguan tidur dimintakan persetujuan intervensi selama 8 minggu. Evaluasi dengan kuesioner SDSC dan PDSS.
Hasil: Prevalens gangguan tidur 25,1%. Gambaran gangguan tidur yaitu Disorder of initiating and maintaining sleep (DIMS) 61,5%, Sleep wake transition disorder (SWTD) 61,5%, Disorder of excessive somnolence (DOES) 55,4%, dan Disorder of arousal (DA) 51,5%. Terdapat perbaikan keluhan mengantuk, perubahan mood, dan kesulitan bangun pagi. Terdapat penurunan nilai SDSC pre dan post intervensi (p < 0,001).
Kesimpulan: Prevalens gangguan tidur anak usia sekolah 25,1%. Dampak intervensi sleep hygiene yaitu perbaikan keluhan mengantuk, perubahan mood, dan kesulitan bangun pagi. Terdapat perbedaan bermakan nilai SDSC pre dan post intervensi.
