"Keperawatan merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit dan merupakan unsur penting dalam mendukung tercapainya peningkatan pelayanan rumah sakit. Sebagai konsekuensinya pelayanan keperawatan harus didukung oleh tenaga keperawatan yang profesional. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme keperawatan adalah melalui pengembangan karier keperawatan, karena karier merupakan harapan dari kehidupan kerja perawat yang erat hubungannya dengan prestasi kerja.
Desain penelitian yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan harapan karier dengan prestasi kerja adalah cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat pelaksana di RSUD Swadana Jombang pada bulan Mei dan Juni 2002, dari 168 perawat pelaksana yang memenuhi syarat sebanyak 128 orang. Pengumpulan data mengenai aspek harapan karier dan prestasi kerja dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan penilaian langsung oleh kepala ruangan. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan komputer. Untuk menguji hubungan antara karakteristik, harapan karier dengan prestasi kerja digunakan uji chi-square, serta analisis regresi logistik ganda untuk memprediksi faktor-faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap prestasi kerja.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan proporsi harapan karier dan prestasi kerja pelaksana pelaksana di RSUD Swadana Jombang tergolong rendah, dari 128 responden 53,9% mempunyai harapan karier rendah dan 55,5% mempunyai prestasi kerja rendah. Hasil analisis korelasional terdapat hubungan yang bermakna anatara harapan karier dengan prestasi kerja, namun ada kecenderungan perawat pelaksana yang mempunyai harapan karier tinggi. mempunyai prestasi kerja rendah. Jenis kelamin dan tingkat pendidikan mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna dengan harapan karier dan prestasi kerja, dimana pria cenderung mempunyai harapan karier tinggi tetapi wanita lebih tinggi prestasi kerjanya. Sedangkan perawat pelaksana D III Keperawatan cenderung mempunyai harapan karier tinggi namun prestasi kerjanya rendah dibandingkan SPK.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka untuk meningkatkan prestasi kerja perawat pelakana hendaknya manajemen rumah sakit melakukan perencanaan dan pengembangan karier individu dan organisasi, serta mendesain lingkungan kerja keperawatan melalui model praktek keperawatan profesional (MPKP).

An Analysis on The Correlation between Nurse Career Expectancy and their Job Performance in RSUD Swadana Jombang, 2002Nursing cannot be separated from the health service of a hospital. It is also an important part in supporting the improvement of hospital service. In order to improve it, nursing service must be supported by professional nurses. One way to improve nurse professionalism is Nurse career development because career is a wish or hope from nurse work life, moreover career also has close relationship with job performance.
The design used to analyse the correlation between career expectancy and job performance is cross sectional. The samples are all nurses in RSUD Swadana Jombang. The study was done in May and June 2002. We got 128 nurses of 168 nurses in the hospital. The data was collected by using questioner about the aspects of career expectancy and job performance and by using direct supervision of the head room or head nurse. We use computer to process and analyse the. data. The writer also conducted chi-square test to measure the correlation between characteristic, career expectancy, and job performance. We also use multiple logistic regression analysis to predict the most influence factors of job performance.
Based on the analysis, it found that the proportion of career expectancy and job performance in RSUD swadana Jombang is low. It is 53.9 % of 128 nurses have low career expectancy and 55,5 % of 128 nurses have low job performance. From the analysis we also found out that there is significant relationship between career expectancy and job performance. The nurse tends to have high job expectancy and low job performance. While sex and education level also have significant result; male nurse tend to have high career expectancy and female tend to have higher job performance. From education level, nurse who graduated from nursing diploma have career expectancy but their job performance is lower than nurses graduated from SPK. Based on the study the writer recommend that in order to improve job performance, the hospital have to make a plan and organization and career development. The hospital also needs to design nurse work environment by conducting nurse professional practical model.

"Manajemen risiko rumah sakit adalah upaya untuk meminimalkan kerugian finansial rumah sakit yang berhubungan dengan kecelakaan dan mencegah kejadian yang tidak diharapkan. Manajemen risiko pelayanan keperawatan merupakan bagian dari manajemen risiko rumah sakit yang meliputi aktivitas identifikasi risiko, menganalisis risiko, mengontrol risiko dan pembiayaan risiko.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi perawat pelaksana terhadap manajemen risiko pelayanan keperawatan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana di Rumah Sakit Pondok Indah Jakarta, dengan desain penelitian cross sectional, jumlah sampel 96, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 sampai dengan 11 Juli 2003.
Hasil analisis, didapatkan variabel karakteristik dan persepsi perawat pelaksana tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana. Secara proporsi, responden yang mempunyai persepsi manajemen risiko baik mempunyai kinerja baik lebih besar (64,6%) dibandingkan dengan proporsi responden yang mempunyai persepsi manajemen risiko buruk (52,1%).
Disarankan kepada Rumah Sakit Pondok Indah Jakarta untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat pelaksana khususnya yang berkaitan dengan manajemen risiko yaitu perlu diadakan training dan pembinaan kepada perawat pelaksana yang mempunyai persepsi buruk terhadap manajemen risiko, perlu menciptakan budaya kesadaran pembuatan incident report, dan memasukan aktivitas manajemen risiko ke dalam performance appraisal.

An Analysis of the Relationship of the Nurses Practitioners Perception to the Hospital Risk Management Related to the Nursing Service with Nurses Practitioners Performance at Pondok Indah Hospital, Jakarta in 2003Hospital, risk management activities seek to minimize the hospital's financial loss in relation to incident and untoward events. The nursing service in the risk management as a part hospital risk management activities have an important role in risk identification, risk analysis, risk control and risk financing.
The purpose of this research to identify the relationship between nurse practitioners perception to the hospital risk management toward the nursing service and practitioners nurses performance at Pondok Indah Hospital, from July 7 until July 11, 2003. This research used cross sectional design, of 96 respondents.
The research results were found no significant correlation between characteristics and practitioners nurses perception with nurses practitioners performance. In a manner of proportion good risk management perception have a better performance (64,6%) more than bad risk management perception (52,1%).
Recommendation to the management includes; conducting regular training and couching in order to improve nurses practitioners performance who have bad perception of a risk management; create good climate to improve nurses awareness in writing prompt incident report, to develop performance appraisal in every activity of the risk management.

"Dengan semakin bertambahnya jumlah pasien yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Mohammad Hoesin Palembang (RSMH), beban kerja perawat pelaksana dirasakan semakin besar, Tenaga perawat di RSMH berjumlah 634 orang sedangkan jumlah kapasitas tempat tidur berjumlah 660 tempat tidur: Di instalasi Penyakit Dalam RSMH Palembang, jumlah tempat tidur (162 TT) dengan jumlah tenaga perawat (65 orang), atau rasio 2 : 5 menunjukkan bahwa RSMH Palembang sepertinya belum mencapai standar RS Tipe A dan B. Menurut Departemen Kesehatan ratio antara perawat dengan TT adalah 3 perawat : 2 tempat tidur. Hal ini salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurang meratanya pendistribusian tenaga perawat, disisi lain masih banyaknya tenaga perawat yang ditempatkan pada unit-unit non keperawatan. Tenaga perawat yang dipekerjakan di unit rawat jalan mencapai lebih dari 100 orang. Hal ini diduga rnerupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja perawat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kinerja perawat. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah perawat pelaksana yang bekerja pada Ruang Rawat inap Instalasi Penyakit Dalam RSMH Palembang berjumlah 58 orang. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan kuesioner tanpa dilakukan observasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara beban kerja dengan kinerja perawat (p=0,000), dengan subvariabel yang dominan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja perawat adalah sistem penugasan.
Peneliti memberikan saran kepada RSMH Palembang, yang meliputi perbaikan dalam hal pendistribusian tenaga perawat, perlunya dilakukan supervisi yang terus menerus, perlunya evaluasi kinerja secara berkala dan pemberian penghargaan (reward). Selain itu peneliti juga menyararankan agar setiap perawat memahami Standard Operating Procedure (Protap) sebagai bentuk operasional dari sistem penugasan yang jelas dan terukur.

The Relationship of Job Responsibility and the Task of Nursing Staff at in Patient Wards of Internal Deasease Unit in RSMH Palembang in 2003The more patients treated in RSMH Palembang, the bigger job responsibility the nursing staffs have. The nurse working load get larges, the totality of whole nurses in Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Hospital now are 634 man, and total of capacity of hospital's bed are 660 beds. In the Department of Interns the ratio of the beds (165 beds) compared with numbers of nursing staff (65 nurses) or in the ratio of l to 2,5 shows that RSMH Palembang nursing staff is 3 nurses to 2 beds. One of the reason is unspread about distribution of a nursing staff, on the other side, still a lot of a nursing staff to get position in non-nursing units, beside that about 100 nursing staff does at out patient unit. This is supposed to have affected the tasks of a nursing staff. On the other side, a nursing staff does a lot more administrative work than does her nursing routine tasks. This is supposed to have affected the tasks of a nursing staff.
This research is aimed to observe the relationship between the job responsibility with the task of nursing staff. The samples of this research are 58 nurses working at the in patient wards of Internal Disease Unit in RSMH Palembang.
The result of this research shows that there is a significant relationship between the job responsibility with the task of nursing staff and the dominant variable which influence the nursing staffs task is the system of order.
The researches suggests that increase i.e. nurse distribution, continuous supervision, periodic evaluation of the tasks, and reward given. The other case the researches suggest that every nursing staff at RSMH Palembang should understand Standard Operating Procedure (Protap) as an operational form a distinct and measurable order system.

"Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan dirumah sakit adalah faktor kualitas pelayanan keperawatan. Upaya untuk menjamin kualitas asuhan keperawatan dengan digunakannya Standar Asuhan Keperawatan.
Dari data angket pelayanan keperawatan di RS. Setia Mitra, yang menyatakan sedang 9% dan yang kurang 4%. Juga keluhan dari Staf Medis mengenai ketidakmampuan beberapa perawat dalam melaksanakan tindakan keperawatan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor karakteristik perawat hubunganannya dengan prestasi kerja dalam melaksanakan tindakan keperawatan yang pemasangan infus, balans cairan, pembuatan EKG dan pemasangan kateter.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah merupakan penelitian diskriptif analitik yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross sectional secara kuantitatif. Pengambilan data primer dilakukan dengan mengadakan wawancara dan pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan tindakan keperawatan, data sekunder didapatkan dari pengumpulan data-data terkait.
Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 25 perawat. Analisa data terdiri dari analisa data univariat serta bivariat dengan tabulasi silang dan Chi Square.
Hasil yang diperoleh adalah karakteristik perawat sebagian besar berpendidikan SPK, belum pernah mengikuti pendidikan tambahan, mempunyai masa kerja singkat, berumur muda dan belum menikah. Perawat dengan pendidikan lebih tinggi dan pernah mendapatkan pendidikan tambahan lebih baik dalam melaksanakan tindakan keperawatan. Dalam uji Chi Square didapatkan hubungan bermakna antara karakteristik lama kerja perawat dengan tindakan pembuatan EKG dan pemasangan kateter ; umur perawat dengan tindakan balans cairan, pembuatan EKG dan pemasangan kateter ; status pernikahan perawat dengan tindakan pemasangan infus dan balans cairan ; tanggung jawab/jabatan dengan tindakan balans cairan, pembuatan EKG dan pemasangan kateter.
Saran untuk R.S. Setia Mitra adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan/ketrampilan perawat, mengikut sertakan dalam pendidikan program khusus D-III keperawatan, melengkapi dan mensosialisasikan Standar Asuhan Keperawatan, mengisi formasi kepala ruangan serta mengupayakan rekruitment yang lebih selektif.

Analyzing the Relationship Between the Nurse Characteristic Aspects and Her Work Performance in Carryng Out Caring Activities in the Vip and Lantai Bawah Hospital Ward at the Setia Mitra Hospital in South JakartaOne of the aspects influencing the success of a hospital's health care is its nursing care service' quality. An effort to assure such quality is the introduction of the Nursing Care Training Standard.
In a questionnaire regarding the Setia Mitra Hospital's nursing care, nine percent (9%) of the respondents said it is "acceptable" and four percent (4%) "insufficient". In addition, the Medical Staff complaints about the lack of skill of some nurses in carrying out their duties.
This research has the objective to identify characteristic aspects of the nurse in correlation with her work performance in carrying out nursing activities such as putting in an infusion, balancing the liquid, making an ECG and inserting a catheter.
This kind of research is both analytical and descriptive, conducted by a quantitatively cross sectional approach. Recording the primary data is conducted by interviews and directly monitoring the nursing activities, the complementary data have been obtained by collecting them.
Twenty five (25) nurses are the respondents in this research. The data analysis includes both uni and bivariat data analysis with cross tabulation as well as Chi Square.
The result attained forms the nurses' aptitude. A great part of them attended the vocational education, they have never had additional education, have short employment, are young of age and unmarried.
Nurses with a higher education and who once had received additional education are better in carrying out their nursing duties. The Chi Square test reveals significant correlations between the characteristic of the time span required by a nurse in order to make an ECG and insert a catheter; her age and balancing the liquid, making an ECG and inserting a catheter; her matrimonial status and putting in an infusion and balancing the liquid, making an ECG and inserting a catheter.
A suggestion to the Setia Mitra Hospital is to improve the nurse' knowledge/ skill, participation in education programs especially the 3 -year Diploma Program for Nursing, completion and socialization of the Nursing Care Training Standard in addition, filling the room supervisor's position as well as being more selective.

"Salah satu standar untuk menilai kinerja perawat dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan adalah penilaian terhadap pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan; tingkat pengetahuan perawat pelaksana tentang pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan; persepsi perawat pelaksana tentang pelaksanaan supervisi pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan; hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan; hubungan persepsi perawat pelaksana terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan.
Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampelnya seluruh perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap kelas 2 dan 3 (46 orang). Instrumen dengan memakai Instrumen Studi Dokumentasi Penerapan Standar Asuhan Keperawatan di Rumah Sakit (Instrumen A darj Depkes 1995), kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam.
Pada hasil penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 100% perawat pelaksana kinerjanya kurang dalam seluruh proses pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Pengetahuan perawat pelaksana tentang pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan 100% mempunyai skor diatas 70. Persepsi perawat pelaksana tentang pelaksanaan supervisi pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan 80% mempunyai skor diatas 70. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dengan kinerja perawat pelaksana dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara persepsi perawat pelaksana terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dengan kinerja perawat pelakisana dalam pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan.
Dengan hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar manajemen keperawatan RS X segera menyempurnakan Standar Asuhan Keperawatann dan mendistribusikan buku pedoman Standar Asuhan Keperawatan di setiap ruangan rawat inap.

The Analysis of Nursing Performance in Documenting Care in In-Patient Care Unit of "X" General HospitalDocumenting care is one of several nursing activities which is measurable to asses the nursing performance that influence the quality of nursing care in a hospital. The objectives of this study were to asses the nursing performance in documenting care, to figure out factors which were involved (level of nurses' knowledge about documenting care and nurses' perception about supervision in documenting care); and to asses any relation between those factors and the nursing performance.
This was a cross sectional quantitative study, using questioners and interviews to collect information about nursing performance in documenting care from 46 nurses in the class 2 and 3 of In-Patient Care Unit. Then the nursing performance was compared with the Instruments for Study in Documenting the Application of Standard Nursing Care in a Hospital, published by Ministry of Health as the Instrument A, 1995. (Instrumen Studi Dokumentasi Penerapan Standar Asuhan Keperawatan di Rumah Sakit, Instrumen A dari Depkes 1995).
This study showed all respondents (100%) had good level of knowledge about documenting care (knowledge score above 70). Most of respondents (80%) had good perception about supervision in documenting care (perception score above 70). Even though, all respondents (100%) had poor performance in the whole aspects of documenting care. There were no relation not only between the level of nurses' knowledge and the nursing performance in documenting care, but also between the nurses' perception about supervision and nursing performance in documenting care.
The overall result of nursing performance in In-Patient Care Unit of "X" General Hospital was poor in documenting care.
This result suggested the management of Nursing Department of "X" General Hospital to improve the Standard of Nursing Care booklets, and then distribute them to all wards of In-Patient Care Unit.

"Tenaga keperawatan merupakan salah satu elemen tenaga kesehatan yang terpenting dalam pelayanan kesehatan karena kinerjanya dirasakan langsung oleh konsumen sehingga pengguna akan bereaksi dengan segera terhadap jasa yang mereka beli. Seiring dengan tuntutan masyarakat yang makin kritis pada layanan kesehatan khususnya bidang keperawatan maka dibutuhkan perhatian khusus terhadap peningkatan kinerja kesehatan. Tingkat kinerja perawat yang masih rendah dijumpai di RSUD Wonogiri, hal ini bisa dilihat dari kedisiplinan perawat yang tidak mematuhi waktu kehadiran, jam pulang kerja serta pelayanan yang belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan SOP.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran kinerja di instalasi rawap inap RSUD Wonogiri serta faktor determinan yang berhubungan dengannya. Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang diteliti berjumlah 90 responden, sedang uji yang digunakan adalah Anova test dengan Significant level 0,05%.
Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kinerja di RSUD Wonogiri dengan kategori baik hanya sebesar 52,2%. Untuk faktor internal didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara variabel umur dan jumlah anak dengan kinerja. Sedangkan untuk variabel masa kerja, tingkat pendidikan dan motivasi berhubungan secara signifikan. Ada hubungan faktor eksternal (fasilitas kerja, kepemimpinan, imbalan, area praktek, supervisi) dengan kinerja sedangkan untuk variabel beban kerja tidak berhubungan secara signifikan. Faktor determinan paling dominan yang berhubungan dengan kinerja perawat di RSUD Wonogiri adalah fasilitas dan area praktek.
Saran dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan mutu asuhan keperawatan, pelaksanaan pelatihan agar memotivasi kepuasan kerja perawat sehingga mendorong kinerja perawat lebih produktif, saran lain adalah menggalakkan kegiatan penelitian keperawatan untuk pengembangan ilmu keperawatan dan penyelesaian masalah keperawatan.

Performance Analysis in Nursing of Impatient Departement in RSUD Wonogiri 2004 The Paramedics has always been played a major role in the health services, because it can be experienced directly to the patient or customer, and they will react to it. Facing the needs and wants from the public for health services offered by the paramedics, in the needs of the good service performances has to be taken seriously. One example of performance in nursing, has deliberately by the author in RSUD Wonogiri, Central Java Province. The consideration of performance appraisal of this public hospital run by the Wonogiri regency based on presence or absenteeism, working hours and the quality of its individual employees to the customer with the standard operating procedure shows that performance in nursing is low.
The goal of the research is to evaluate the performance appraisal in nursing of impatient department in RSUD Wonogiri, and its determinant factor in which can be influenced. This research is based on quantitative analysis with cross sectional method/approach. The number of population is 90 respondents, using Anova test with significant level of 0.05%.
The research concludes that the performance appraisal in nursing shows 52.2%, categorized as good. From the internal factors: there is no relation between age and number of children with the performances. On the other hand, the length of working, educational level and motivation significantly related. Furthermore, there is a relation of external factors (eg: working facilities, leaderships, rewards, practical areas, and supervision) with the performance where as the load of works with the performance appraisal has not shown the significant relations. The determinant factors which dominated the relation between performances in nursing of RSUD Wonogiri are the working facilities and practical areas.
Having analyzed the performance with all factors from the paramedics, the author recommend that to improve the performance from its paramedics, need to increase nursing quality assurance, the training programs to motivate the satisfaction of the paramedics in gaining the productiveness. It also has to be done by improving the educational and training for the paramedics as well as find solutions for paramedics problems.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan telaahan kepuasan kerja dan kinerja serta hubungannya satu sama lain diantara perawat di RS Islam Jakarta Timur (RSIJT}. Guna mengetahui hal tersebut, maka disain penelitian merupakan suatu studi deskriptif analistik dengan pengambilan data secara cross sectional, Analisis deskriptif dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan kerja dan tingkat kinerja perawat. Sedangkan analisis statistik dilakukan untuk melihat ada tidaknya hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan kinerja, faktor-faktor kepuasan apa yang paling erat hubungan/pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja, serta komponen kepuasan kerja yang mana yang paling penting peranannya.
Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan kerja dan kinerja perawat di RSIJT umumnya cukup baik. Faktor finansial merupakan penyebab utama ketidakpuasan, kemudian didapatkan bahwa seluruh faktor kepuasan mempunyai hubungan bermakna dengan kinerja baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara keseluruhan. Sedangkan faktor kepuasan yang paling erat hubungan/pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja adalah faktor psikologi.
Selain hasil di atas, terbukti pula bahwa masing-masing faktor kepuasan saling berkaitan satu sama lain. Oleh karena itu dalam upaya perbaikan tingkat kepuasan kerja dan tingkat kinerja perawat tidak dapat dilakukan hanya terhadap faktor psikologi saja, melainkan harus menyeluruh agar didapatkan hasil yang optimal.

The Relationship between Nurse?s Job Satisfaction and Job Performance in Jakarta Timur Islamic Hospital The purpose of this study was to get a description of job satisfaction and job performance and also the connection of each other among nurses in Jakarta Timur Islamic Hospital (JTIH). For this purpose a study has been conducted using a descriptive analytic design with cross sectional data collection. This descriptive analytic was cultivating nurse?s job satisfaction and job performance degree. Statistic analysis was used to observe the existence of relation between job satisfaction and job performance, and also to found out job satisfaction factors which has the closest relationship with job performance, and job satisfaction component which played the main role.
The result of this study showed that the degree of nurse?s job satisfaction and job performance in JTIH was generally good. The financial factor that was the main cause of job dissatisfaction. All job satisfaction factors had significant relationship with all job performances, but among those job satisfaction factors, psychological factor that had the most significant relationship with each and the whole job performance. Its also proved that job satisfaction factors were connected to each other.
Based on the above, the improvemental effort to nurse's job satisfaction and job performance degree cannot only be done to psychological factor, but comprehensively to all factors to get the optimal results.

"Masuknya era pasar bebas khususnya di Asia (AFTA) dan pelaksanaan visi Indonesia Sehat Tahun 2010, maka dapat dirasakan kebijakan-kebijakan pemerintah mulai dijalankan dalam antisipasi situasi ini. Akan tetapi hal tersebut dirasakan belum cukup, masih ada rasa kekhawatiran dari berbagai kalangan di masyarakat sehubungan dengan kualitas SDM khususnya di sektor kesehatan.
Hal tersebut tidak lepas dari permasalah laten tenaga pengajar kita seperti rendahnya penghasilan, rendahnya pendidikan dan keterampilan, tidak lengkap dan tidak terpeliharanya sarana pendukung pendidikan dan sebagainya. Akibatnya berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat pemenuhan kepuasan kerja tenaga pengajar yang lambat laun dapat mempengaruhi kualitas dari penampilan pengajaran guru/dosen.
Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan suatu penelitian untuk memahami faktor-faktor pemenuhan kebutuhan kepuasan kerja secara spesifik yang berhubungan dengan penampilan pengajaran dosen di suatu wilayah tertentu sehingga intervensi dapat dilakukan lebih efisien dan efektif.
Penelitian dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan teknik analisis uji korelasi dilakukan di seluruh Akper swasta Jakarta Barat tahun 2004. Sebagai subjek penelitian adalah dosen tetap berjumlah 56 orang, sumber informasi dari pejabat Akper (3 Direktur dan 2 Pudir) dan 270 mahasiswa senior. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan variabel bebas adalah persepsi pemenuhan kebutuhan kepuasan kerja dan variabel terikat adalah persepsi penampilan pengajaran dosen tetap.
Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan tingkat penampilan pengajaran dosen rata-rata cukup baik 75,8% (3,79 skala Likert). Analisis bivariat didapat hasil, adanya hubungan yang bermakna pada derajat kepercayaan 95% (p<0,05) antara penampilan pengajaran dosen dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan kepuasan kerja pada sub variabel prestasi kerja, tanggung jawab kerja, gaji/penghasilan, kondisi fisik kerja dan hubungan rekan kerja. Sebaliknya, tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna (p>0,05) antara penampilan pengajaran dosen dengan sub-sub variabel pengakuan kerja, rasa aman bekerja serta pembinaan-supervisi.
Melalui analisis multivariat di dapat hasil variabel bebas yang mempunyai hubungan paling kuat dengan penampilan pengajaran dosen adalah sub variabel tanggung jawab (P max,=0,669) dengan persamaan Regresi Linier Berganda yang sesuai : Tingkat Penampilan Pengajaran = 0,412 + 0,715 (tanggung jawab) + 0,299 (gaji) + 0,192 (hubungan kerja) - 0,248 (rasa aman bekerja).
Untuk meningkatkan penampilan pengajaran dosen pada institusi Akper daerah penelitian, agar tetap mengupayakan peningkatan keterampilan dan pendidikan pada staf dosennya dan perlu memberikan perhatian yang lebih fokus pada aspek tanggung jawab kerja, gaji/penghasilan, hubungan rekan kerja dan rasa aman dalam bekerja, melalui tindakan intervensi holistik atau parsial.

Analysis on Relationship Between the Fulfillment of Work Satisfaction Need and Teaching Performance of Lecturers in Private Nursing Academies in West Jakarta Year 2004The free market introduction in Asia, particularly AFTA and the implementation of Healthy Indonesia 2010 vision has influenced government policies in all sectors. However, there is still concern in the readiness of Indonesia to face the challenge especially concern on human resources quality in health sector. The above mentioned concern is related to latent problems on health lecturer's situation such as low income, low education and skill, poor maintenance of education facilities and others. These, in turn, influenced the level of work satisfaction among health lecturers and their quality of teaching performance. In this regard, there is a need to conduct research to investigate factors related to teaching performance as to make the intervention more effective and more efficient.
This study was a cross-sectional study with correlation analyses covered all private Nursing Academies in West Jakarta year 2004. Subjects of the study were 56 lecturers, 3 Directors/Vice Directors and 270 senior students. Data were collected through questionnaires contained independent variables of perception on the fulfillment of work satisfaction need and dependent variable of perception on teaching performance.
The study showed that the average of teaching performance was good, i.e. 75.8% (3.79 on Likert scale). Bivariate analysis showed significant relationship between performance and work achievement, work responsibility, income, work physical condition, and relationship with colleagues. No significant relationship found between performance and work actualization, secure feeling, and supervision. Multivariate analysis showed that the most dominant factor was work responsibility (f3max~.669) with model: Performance = 0.412 + 0.715 responsibility + 0.299 income + 0.192 relationship- 0.248 secure feeling.
To improve teaching performance, it is recommended to improve education and skill among lecturers and provide adequate and focused support on work responsibility, income, relationship with colleagues, and secure feeling at work through both holistic and partial interventions.

"Salah satu program puskesmas yaitu Pelayanan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut, dimana program ini ditujukan kepada keluarga dan masyarakat di wilayah kerja puskesmas, oleh karena itu pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut dapat dilaksanakan di gedung puskesmas maupun diluar gedung puskesmas seperti di Sekolah Dasar (SD), kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan gigi dan mulut di SD disebut Usaha Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut Sekolah (UKGS).
UKGS adalah upaya kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada anak SD dititikberatkan pada upaya penyuluhan dan pencegahan berupa penyuluhan dan gerakan sikat gigi masal serta dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada setiap murid. Kabupaten Muara Enim merupakan salah satu Kabupaten di Propinsi Sumatera Selatan dengan jumlah SD sebanyak 598 buah yang terletak di 18 Kecamatan, jumlah puskesmas sebanyak 25 buah puskesmas. Semua puskesmas telah memiliki perawat gigi sebagai tenaga pelaksana UKGS, namun demikian bila dilihat dari hasil cakupan kegiatan UKGS masih rendah bila dibandingkan dengan beberapa Kabupaten yang ada di Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. Cakupan jumlah SD UKGS merupakan pengukuran untuk penilaian kinerja bagi tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juni tahun 2001 di 25 puskesmas dimana tenaga pelaksana UKGS bertugas. Sampling dalam penelitian ini tidak dilakukan karena seluruh populasi dimanfaatkan untuk dianalisa (total populasi). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah diperolehnya informasi tentang faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kinerja tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan rancangan studi "cross sectional". Untuk menunjang data kuantitatifkemudian dilakukan pendekatan secara kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas di Kabupaten Muara Enim sebesar 55,5%. Dan analisis bivariat diperoleh adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara umur, pelatihan, lama kerja, persepsi peran, motivasi dan kepemimpinan dengan kinerja tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas. Dari hasil penelitian kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam ternyata kurang termotivasinya tenaga pelaksana UKGS selama ini disebabkan karena kurangnya perhatian dan bimbingan dari pimpinan puskesmas maupun dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten serta adanya persepsi dari tenaga pelaksana UKGS bahwa program UKGS bukan merupakan program prioritas di puskesmas yang semua ini menimbulkan dampak berkurangnya motivasi tenaga pelaksana UKGS terhadap cakupan UKGS di puskesmas yang berakibat rendahnya kinerja tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas.
Saran yang dapat diberikan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah agar Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Muara Enim menyelenggarakan pelatihan UKGS bagi seluruh tenaga pelaksana UKGS puskesmas, bagi Kepala Puskesmas diharapkan lebih memotivasi tenaga pelaksana UKGS dengan Cara memberi perhatian dan bimbingan kepada petugas, karena untuk pencapaian kinerja yang baik perlu didukung suatu motivasi kerja dari tenaga pelaksana UKGS.

Factors Related to Performance of UKGS Personnel of Community Health Center in Regency of Muara Enim, 2001One of the Community Health's Program is Dental and Mouth Health Service, in which is intended for the family and the community in the working area of the Community Health Center, therefore the dental and mouth health service can be implemented in the community health center or outside of the building such as in the Elementary School, the dental and mouth health service activities in the elementary school is called School Dental and Mouth Health Efforts (UKGS).
The UKGS is an effort of dental and mouth health service for elementary school children which is focused on guidance and prevention and mass teeth brushing movement and dental health check-up for each of the student. Muara Enim Regency is one of regencies within the Province of South Sumatra with 598 elementary schools which are located in 18 Sub-District, and 25 units of community health centers. All community health centers have owned its dental nurses as UKGS personnel, however, its activities are still low (in terms of the coverage) compared to several other existing regencies. The coverage here means the number of elementary school covered by UKGS program which is the way to measure the work performance of all UKGS personnel of the community health centers.
This research had been done from April to June 2001 in 25 community health centers in which the UKGS personnel work. A total sample of the 25 community health centers had been selected. The purpose of this research is to obtain information regarding factors related to work performance of the UKGS personnel of the community health centers. This research is done by using cross-sectional study. In order to support the quantitative data, qualitative approach is then used.
The result of this research indicates that the work performance of UKGS personnel of the community health centers in Regency of Muara Enim is 55,5°/x. From bivariate analysis obtained, there is significant relationship between age, training, tenure, role perception, motivation and leadership with the performance of the UKGS personnel of the community health centers. From the result of this research, through in-depth interview, it turns out that the lack of motivation of the UKGS personnel for the time being is due to the lack of concern and training from the Head of the community health centers and from the Regency Health Office. It is also comes from the perception of the UKGS personnels themselves that the UKGS program is not a top priority program in the community health center. All of these together could cause the decreasing motivation of the UKGS personnel towards the UKGS coverage in the community health center and in return could give the low of the work performance of UKGS personnel in the community health centers.
The suggestion that be presented from this research is it is better for the Health Office of Muara Enim Regency to conduct UKGS training for all UKGS personnel of the community health centers. The Head of the community health centers is expected to give more motivation to the UKGS personnel by giving concern and guidance to the personnel, because in order to achieve good performance, a full support of working motivation from UKGS personnel is needed.
