Tujuan penerjemahan beranotasi dua artikel berjudul ?Turning Work and Lifelong Learning inside out: a Marxist―feminist Attempt? karya Shahrzad Mojab dan ?But What Will we Eat: Research Questions and Priorities for Work and Learning? karya Astrid Von Kotze adalah untuk menjelaskan metode dan prosedur penerjemahan yang sesuai untuk menerjemahkan teks argumentasi dan dengan publik pembaca terjemahan.

An annotated translation is a translation completed with the translator's note showing the translation's responsibility in choosing the equivalent words. The aim of translating the two articles such as ?Turning Work and Lifelong Learning inside out: a Marxist―feminist Attempt? written by Shahrzad Mojab and ?But What Will we Eat: Research Questions and Priorities for Work and Learning? written by Astrid Von Kotze is to explain appropriate translation methods and procedures for translating argumentatif texts that meets the readers's needs. The research questions are how to achieve translation equivalents and how to make natural translation for the target readers. The annotated text deals with critical review toward adult learning in which there are some terminology from other fields. Besides, there are challenges to transfer some ideas wrapped in difficult wordings and complex sentences in the source text into simpler sentences in the target text. To make natural translation for the target readers, I apply communicative and idiomatic methods. In addition, I apply various procedures such as descriptive equivalent, paraphrase, naturalization, recognized translation, modulation, cultural equivalent, transference, couplet, and translating metaphors. Besides, I use strategy of using a more neutral word and translation by omission. A translator does not only need to equip him/herself with knowledge in adult learning but also widen his/her perspective in various knowledge in order to make natural translation."

"This book presents some of the most trenchant critical analyses of the widespread claims for the recent emergence of a knowledge economy and the attendant need for greater lifelong learning. The book contains two sections. First, general critiques of the limits of current notions of a knowledge economy and required adult learning, in terms of historical comparisons, socio-political construction and current empirical evidence. Secondly, specific challenges to presumed relations between work requirements and learning through case studies in diverse current workplaces that document richer learning processes than knowledge economy advocates intimate.
