"Project management has been generally known and increasingly used by many organizations to gain competitive advantage. In this context, many studies have proposed maturity models to evaluate how project management knowledge has been deployed effectively and efficiently in organization. As a developing country, Indonesia needs many development projects managed by government and private companies in different industries. Here, a study to assess project management maturity level in Indonesian businesses may bring insight about current business practices, which is important to speed up country development and business sustainability. Adapting the Project Management Maturity Model (ProMMM), a survey instrument has been developed and applied to professionals from Jakarta and surrounding area. The result of analysis shows that construction and primary industry have a higher maturity level compare to manufacturing and services. It is to be noted, however, that the level of project management understanding is low across industries. This indicates that more quality project management training or certification is required to improve overall project management knowledge in Indonesia."

"Conflict can be functional or dysfunctional to the organization?s performance. This study focused on the relationship between conflict approaches implemented by the project manager based on project team member?s perception on the effectiveness of the project manager in managing project?s
conflict. Questionnaires were modified from Barker et al. (1988) to measure conflict management
approaches and outcomes of managing project conflict. Data were gathered from 57
respondents who worked in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors
serving the upstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry in Indonesia. By using Pearson correlation,
result of this study indicated that project managers were perceived to be effective in managing
project conflict when implementing cooperative and confirmative approaches, but ineffective
when combining competitive and avoidance approaches. Further research should investigate correlation
between cultural dimensions with conflict approaches and outcomes of managing conflict."

ABSTRACT
Earned Value Management (EVM) is a method to control project scope, schedule, and cost.EVM known for its application in construction project, while its application in services contract is rarely to be found. This paper look at EVM application in services contract, especially in controlling the project using EVM parameters and indicators, those are Planned Value (EV), Actual Value (AC), Earned Value (EV), Variance at Completion (VAC), Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Variance (SV), To Complete Performance Index (TCPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Estimate at Completion (EAC). This case study’s object is a consulting and electronic-based archiving project owned by the Official Building Control and Order of JakartaProvince. In this research, EVM method was used from planning phase until controlling phase. The result indicates two important things in term of EVM application in service contract. First, EVM is proved to helps the project manager manage the project as a whole. Second, the project executor should be careful in using EAC and VAC in order not to misinterpret the result."

ABSTRACT
EPC oil and gas project has a high level of complexity. Procurement phase contributes to 50-60% of total project cost so it becomes one of the most important phase to gain success. This phase involves many stakeholders with various interests. Stakeholder management plays a major role to achieve project?s goals. Hence, it is required to indentify critical success factor (CSF) of stakeholder management on procurement phase. By conducting survey to EPC practitioners and calculating various statistic tests, 36 variables of CSF have been found. Those 36 variables were used to design process of stakeholder management in each procurement phase."

The strategic program of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia is stated in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for 2020-2024 which has a target of constructing eighteen (18) multi-purpose dams. The Pasir Kopo Dam is included in the RPJMN development target and is expected to provide benefits for irrigation water supply, flood risk control and RKI raw water needs in the Lebak Regency, Serang Regency and Tangerang Regency in Banten Province. On the other hand, the construction of large dams requires large costs. Limited budget for funding or a funding gap in the APBN, requires an alternative financing scheme for the construction of the Pasir Kopo Dam. Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP) is an alternative financing scheme for dam construction. Economic benefit analysis is needed for the calculation of the project's economic costs and benefits and as an assessment of investment capability. In addition, the identification and level of risk is another very important thing in a PPP to be able to find out more about risk allocation and mitigation. The Pasir Kopo Dam project can be implemented because it is economically feasible and will provide increased economic benefits for the community and the government and allows it to be carried out with a cooperation scheme through investment. There are 7 (seven) project risk factors that have a high impact on cooperation with different allocation scenarios. Taking into account the economic benefits, investment assessment and risk level, the scenario of cooperation in the Pasir Kopo Dam Project PPP requires the formation of an Implementing Business Entity that will enter into a PPP agreement with the PJPK (Ministry of PUPR) with a DBFOMT (Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintenance- Transfer)."

"Between time constraints, technical challenges, and limited resources, nearly all projects are risky. It stands to reason that project risk management is one of the most important areas making up the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK[registered]). "Identifying and Managing Project Risk" is an immensely practical guide that helps readers minimize the possibility of failure in critical projects by identifying every possible risk ...and then managing it effectively."
