"Praktik klinik dapat menjadi beban tersendiri bagi mahasiswa profesi ners yang dapat mengakibatkan burnout. Burnout akan berdampak pada performa selama praktik klinik, terutama dalam berperilaku caring ketika memberikan asuhan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara burnout dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners. Dengan desain cross-sectional, penelitian ini melibatkan 89 mahasiswa profesi ners di satu perguruan tinggi di Jawa Barat. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Burnout diukur menggunakan maslach burnout inventory yang telah dimodifikasi dan perilaku caring menggunakan caring behavior inventory-24. Hasil uji pearson menunjukkan skor burnout dengan skor perilaku caring berkorelasi sedang dan negatif, serta bermakna (r= -0,460; p<0,001). Penelitian ini juga mendapatkan rerata skor dimensi kelelahan emosional paling tinggi dibanding dimensi lain dan dimensi menciptakan hubungan positif dari perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners masih rendah. Kesimpulan: Burnout berhubungan dengan perilaku caring, yaitu semakin tinggi tingkat burnout semakin rendah skor perilaku caring. Institusi pendidikan keperawatan perlu mengavaluasi iklim pembelajaran klinik dan merancang program untuk mencegah burnout selama pendidikan profesi agar tidak berdampak pada perilaku caring mahasiswa terhadap pasien.

Clinical practice can be a burden for nursingstudents and its can cause burnout. Burnout will have an impact on performance during clinical practice, especially in caring behavior when providing nursing care. This study aimed to determine the relationship between burnout and caring behavior of nursing students. With a cross-sectional design, this study involved 89 students of the nursing students in clinical stage at one university in West Java. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique. Burnout was measured using a modified Maslach Burnout Inventory and caring behavior using Caring Behavior Inventory-24. The results of the Pearson test showed that the burnout score with caring behavior score was moderately and negatively correlated and significant (r = -0.460; p <0.001). This study also found that the average score of the emotional exhaustion dimension was the highest compared to other dimensions of burnout and the dimension positive connectedness in the caring behavior of the nurse profession students was still low. Conclusion: Burnout is related to caring behavior, the higher the burnout level will impact to the lower the caring behavior score. Nursing education institutions need to evaluate the clinical learning climate and design programs to prevent burnout during professional education so as not to have an impact on student caring behavior towards patients."

"Fenomena phubbing menjadi isu sosial yang mewabah di era digitalisasi. Perilaku phubbing tidak sejalan dengan caring yang menjadi fundamental dalam keperawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini guna mengetahui hubungan antara phubbing dan caring dalam keseharian mahasiswa keperawatan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional dengan instrumen penelitian Generic Scale of Phubbing dan Peer Caring Measurement yang diberikan kepada responden sebanyak 94 mahasiswa program sarjana keperawatan terpilih dari dua universitas di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara perilaku phubbing dengan caring pada responden (p <0,001) serta phubbing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap caring dalam keseharian responden. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mampu bersikap bijak dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan perlu untuk mengembangkan caring dalam keseharian khususnya bagi mahasiswa keperawatan.

The phenomenon of phubbing has become a widespread social issue in the era of digitization. Phubbing behavior is inconsistent with the fundamental principle of caring in nursing. This research aims to determine the relationship between phubbing behavior and caring in the daily lives of nursing students. The study design is cross-sectional, employing the Generic Scale of Phubbing and Peer Caring Measurement instruments given to 94 nursing undergraduate students selected from two universities in Jakarta. The research results indicate a significant negative relationship between phubbing behavior and caring among the respondents, as well as a significant influence of phubbing on caring in respondents’ daily lives. Therefore, it is important to exercise wisdom in utilizing technology and to develop caring behaviors in daily life, especially for nursing students."

"Kebudayaan dapat memengaruhi perilaku dan persepsi sehat dan sakit seseorang. Asuhan keperawatan secara peka budaya diperlukan untuk memahami kebutuhan klien dengan budaya yang beragam. Efikasi diri sangat diperlukan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya agar memberikan kepercayaan dalam melakukan asuhan keperawatan peka budaya sehingga menghasilkan perilaku caring yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners. Penelitian ini melibatkan 102 orang mahasiswa profesi ners yang berasal program regular dan ekstensi menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan metode pengumpulan data secara cross sectional dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya mahasiswa profesi ners sudah sangat tinggi dilihat dari proporsinya (83,2%) dan perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners juga sangat baik dilihat dari proporsinya (93,67%). Hasil uji analisis dengan menggunakan uji spearman rho menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners (p value = 0.0001). Penelitian ini menyarankan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai tingkat efikasi diri dalam pemberian asuhan keperawatan peka budaya terhadap perilaku caring pada tahap akademik sarjana yang sudah memulai praktik di rumah sakit, maupun perawat di yang bekerja di rumah sakit.

Culture can influence a person's behavior and perception of health and illness. Culturally sensitive nursing care is needed to understand the needs of clients with diverse cultures. Self-efficacy is very necessary in carrying out culturally sensitive nursing care in order to provide confidence in performing cultural nursing care so as to produce good caring behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing profession students. This study involved 102 professional students from both regular and extension programs using a descriptive correlation design with cross sectional data collection methods with purposive sampling technique. The results showed that self-efficacy in providing nursing care to nursing professional students was very high seen from the proportion (83.2%) and caring behavior of nursing professional students was also very good seen from the proportion (93.67%). The results of the analysis using the Spearman Rho test showed that there was a significant relationship between self-efficacy in providing cultural care to the caring behavior of nursing professional students (p value = 0.0001). It is recommended that further research be conducted on the level of self-efficacy in providing cultural care for caring behavior at the academic level who have started practicing in hospitals, as well as nurses working in hospitals."

"Perilaku caring teman sebaya disinyalir mampu mengatasi kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa keperawatan dan merupakan faktor pendukung dalam pembentukan perilaku caring setelah orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku caring teman sebaya dan perilaku caring mahasiswa perawat terhadap pasien. Sebanyak 94 mahasiswa profesi dari dua program studi perawat di Jakarta dan Depok dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling sebagai sampel penelitian ini. Perilaku caring peer diukur dengan Peer-Group Caring Interaction Scale (PGCIS) dan perilaku caring pelajar terhadap pasien diukur dengan Caring Behaviors Inventory (CBI-24). Hasil uji pearson menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara perilaku caring teman sebaya dengan perilaku caring siswa (p <0,001) dengan nilai korelasi positif (r = 0,415). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik perilaku caring teman sebaya maka semakin baik pula perilaku caring mahasiswa perawat terhadap pasien. Dalam penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa perilaku caring teman sebaya yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah modeling, sedangkan perilaku caring mahasiswa terhadap pasien yang perlu ditingkatkan adalah keterhubungan positif Lembaga pendidikan keperawatan perlu memberdayakan teman sebaya dalam mengembangkan budaya caring pada mahasiswa, baik terintegrasi dengan kurikulum dan kegiatan kemahasiswaan.

Peer caring behavior is allegedly able to overcome the difficulties experienced by nursing students and is a supporting factor in the formation of caring behavior after parents. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer caring behavior and student caring behavior towards patients. A total of 94 professional students from two nursing study programs in Jakarta and Depok were selected using simple random sampling technique as the sample of this study. Peer caring behavior was measured by the Peer-Group Caring Interaction Scale (PGCIS) and students' caring behavior towards patients was measured by the Caring Behaviors Inventory (CBI-24). The Pearson test results showed that there was a relationship between peer caring behavior and student caring behavior (p <0.001) with a positive correlation value (r = 0.415). This shows that the better the caring behavior of peers, the better the caring behavior of nurse students towards patients. In this study, it was also found that peer caring behavior that needs to be improved is modeling, while student caring behavior towards patients that needs to be improved is a positive relationship. Nursing education institutions need to empower peers in developing a caring culture in students, both integrated with curriculum and student activities."

"Burnout merupakan kondisi seseorang yang mengalami stres kerja sehingga berakibat kepada kelelahan fisik, emosional, perubahan perilaku, dan penurunan pencapaian kerja. Sedangkan, perilaku caring merupakan inti dari praktik keperawatan sebagai fenomena universal yang berpengaruh terhadap komunikasi, cara berpikir, berperasaan, dan berperilaku satu sama lain.
Hasil penelitian pada 87 perawat di RS Kanker menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan bermakna antara tingkat burnout dengan perilaku caring perawat onkologi di RS Kanker jakarta dikarenakan hasil distribusi data yang tidak normal. Sekitar 50,7% perawat yang memiliki tingkat burnout tinggi tergolong berperilaku caring tinggi dan 49,3% tergolong berperilaku caring rendah.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, rumah sakit sebaiknya meningkatkan pelatihan mengenai excellent service dan patient safety, gathering antar perawat dan tenaga kesehatan, serta rotasi ruangan kerja perawat sesuai kompetensi agar dapat menurunkan tingkat burnout dan meningkatkan perilaku caring yang berdampak pada pelayanan kesehatan optimal kepada klien kanker.

Burnout is a condition when a person experiencing stress over work, resulting in physical and emotional exhaustion, as well behavioral changes and declining employment achievement. Caring behavior is the core of nursing practice, as the universal phenomenon which has implications on communication, ways of thingking, feelings, and behavior to each other.
Ther result from a study on 87 nursing staffs at Hospital of Cancer in Jakarta showed that there was no significant relationship between the levels of burnout and caring behavior among oncology nurse in Hospital of Cancer, since the data distribution of the variables were abnormal.
Based on the data analysis, the hospital need to develop training programs for nurses and other health care professionals, alos arranging job rotations which fit the nurses competencies, in order to reduce levels of burnout, while upgrading nurses caring behavior, which improve the optimality of the health care service for oncology clients.

"ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan tingkat burnout mahasiswa profesi FIK UI. Penelitian Cross Sectional dilakukan terhadap 106 mahasiswa program ners FIK UI. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa dari 106 mahasiswa sebanyak 52 (49,1%) mahasiswa FIK UI mengalami burnout tinggi, dengan hasil analisis chi square antara pola asuh dan burnout didapatkan p=0,369. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh dengan burnout. Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan diharapkan dapat memberikan konseling untuk mahasiswa serta sesi berbagi informasi mengenai cara menghadapi praktik profesi sehingga dapat mempersiapkan mental dan memberikan dukungan sosial bagi mahasiswa profesi.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship parenting style and burnout of internship nursing students in FON UI Cross Sectional research was conducted on 106 students. Results of the study showed that of 106 students as many as 52 (49,1 %) students experience high burnout, with result of chi square analysis between parenting style and burnout is p = 0.369. The conclusion of the study there is no relationship between parenting style with burnout. Faculty of Nursing is expected to provide counseling for the students as well as a sharing session to prepare mentally and provide support social for internship nursing students."

"Perilaku caring merupakan inti dari keperawatan yang harus dipraktikkan sejak di dunia pendidikan. Trait kepribadian berperan dalam pembentukan sikap dan perilaku individu. Penelitian deskriptif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan menggunakan uji chi-square ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara trait kepribadian mahasiswa dengan perilaku caring. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 60 mahasiswa profesi yang ditentukan berdasarkan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah NEO-Five-Factor Inventory oleh McCrae dan Costa untuk data trait kepribadian dan Caring Efficacy Scale oleh Coates untuk variabel perilaku caring.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara trait kepribadian extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousnes, dan neuroticism dengan perilaku caring (p= 0,002-0,036, α= 0,05), sedangkan trait kepribadian opennes to experience tidak memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan perilaku caring (p=0,060, α= 0,05). Proses pembelajaran yang dapat membentuk karakter dan perilaku caring di instansi pendidikan perlu ditingkatkan lagi.

Caring behavior is core of nursing which must be practiced since in the nursing education. Attitudes and behavior of individuals are affected by personality trait. This correlation descriptive study with cross-sectional approach using the chisquare test aimed to determine the relationship between personality trait with caring behavior of clinical nurisng students. Instrument that used in this research are NEO-Five-Factor Inventory by McCrae and Costa for personality trait, and Caring Efficacy Scale by Coates for caring behavior. The number of samples in this study were 60 clinical nursing students. They were determined based on simple random sampling.
The results of this study indicated that there was a significant correlation between the personality trait extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and neuroticism with caring behavior (p = 0.002 to 0.036, α = 0.05), whereas the personality trait opennes to experience did not have a significant relationship with caring behavior (p = 0.060, α = 0.05). A learning process that can built student caracter and caring behaviour in nursing education must be improved.

"Kecerdasan emosional pada mahasiswa keperawatan merupakan hal yang penting karena berkaitan dengan perilaku caring. Caring merupakan inti dalam ilmu keperawatan. Perilaku caring dibentuk sejak seseorang memasuki pendidikan keperawatan dan dilatih dengan pengalaman klinik. Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa yang sudah praktik klinik fakultas keperawatan di Depok. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan propotionate stratified random sampling dengan sampel yang didapat sebanyak 235 mahasiswa keperawatan. Instrumen yang digunakan Trait Emotional intelligence Questionnare-short form (TEIQue-SF) untuk kecerdasan emosional, dan perilaku caring disusun dari kuesioner the caring reflective behavior index dan kuesioner peer group caring interaction scale. Kedua instrumen telah diuji kembali validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa tinggi (52,3%) dan perilaku caring baik (54,5%). Hasil uji hubungan didapatkan korelasi positif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku caring (p<0,0001; r=0,291) yang berarti adanya hubungan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan mayoritas mahasiswa keperawatan yang sudah praktik klinik fakultas keperawatan di Depok mayoritas memiliki kecerdasan emosional tinggi, cenderung memiliki perilaku caring yang baik 68,3%.

Emotional intelligence in nursing students is important because it is related to caring behavior. Caring is the core of nursing science. Caring behavior is formed since a person enters a nursing education and is trained with clinical experience. This studied examines the relationship between emotional intelligence and caring behavior of students in clinical practice at the nursing faculty in Depok. The sampling technique used was proportional stratified random sampling with a total sample of 235 nursing students. The instrument used is the Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnare-short form (TEIQue-SF) for emotional intelligence, and caring behavior consists of a reflective caring behavior index questionnaire and a peer group caring interaction scale questionnaire. Both instruments have been retested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the students' emotional intelligence was high (52.3%) and caring behavior was good (54.5%). The results of the relationship test showed that there was a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and caring behavior (p<0.0001; r=0.291), which means that there was a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and student caring behavior. The results of the study concluded that most nursing students who did clinical practice at the nursing faculty in Depok had high emotional intelligence, tended to have good caring behavior 68.3%."

Instrumen penelitian Caring Behavior Assessment Tool (CBA) untuk menilai perilaku caring, dan terjemahan The Frommelt Attitude Toward Care of the Dying Scale (FATCOD) untuk menilai sikap perawat pada end of life. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara perilaku caring dengan sikap perawat terhadap end of life. Perilaku caring penting untuk dijadikan budaya dalam merawat setiap klien.

The data sample was taken by 115 nurses in the concurrent room, and in a special room using the incidental sampling method. The research instrument is the Caring Behavior Assessment Tool (CBA) to assess caring behavior, and the translation of The Frommelt Attitude Toward Care of the Dying Scale (FATCOD) to assess nurses' attitudes towards end-of-life care. The results of the study found a relationship between caring behavior and nurses' attitudes towards end-of-life care. Caring behavior is important to become a culture in caring for each client."

"Caring menjadi sari dari keperawatan dan sebagai core dari keperawatan itu sendiri. Perawat dituntut untuk memiliki sikap caring yang baik. Penanaman sikap caring dimulai sejak dalam masa pendidikan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap caring dosen dengan sikap caring mahasiswa. Penelitian ini penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengambilan data cross-sectional. Jumlah responden sebanyak 91 mahasiswa regular Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2014.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara persepsi mahasiswa terhadap caring dosen dengan sikap caring mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perawat, mahasiswa dan dosen untuk menerapkan caring pada kesehariannya. Terlebih untuk institusi pendidikan keperawatan untuk melakukan evaluasi berkala terhadap sikap caring mahasiswa dan dosen.

Caring is the essence and core of nursing. Nurses are required to possess a proper caring attitude. Caring attitude is developed since in the academy. This study aimed to identify correlation between students perception on teachers caring attitude and students caring attitude. The study was quantitative with cross sectional approach. It involved 91 regular students of Faculty of Nursing of University of Indonesia batch 2014.
The result indicated that there was no significant correlation between students perception on teacher's caring attitude and students caring attitude. The study suggested for all nurses, nursing students, and teachers to apply caring attitude in their daily lives. Especially for nursing education institution to give periodic evaluation for teacher's and students caring behavior.
