Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengalaman parentification dan perilaku prososial pada mahasiswa penerima bidikmisi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian retrospective study dimana parentification sebagai pengalaman yang dialami oleh mahasiswa bidikmisi ketika usia di bawah 18 tahun dan perilaku prososial sebagai dampak dari pengalaman tersebut yang diperoleh saat dewasa. Teori parentification yang digunakan dalam penelitian mengacu pada teori Boszormenyi-Nagy dan Spark (1973) dan teori perilaku prososial mengacu pada teori Eisenberg & Mussen (1989). Dalam mengukur parentification, penelitian ini menggunakan Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009) yang terdiri dari tiga dimensi, yaitu emotional parentification, instrumental parentification, dan perceived benefit parentification dan untuk mengukur perilaku prososial menggunakan Adults Prosocialness Instrument (Caprara, Steca, Zelli, dan Capanna, 2005). Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti juga melihat dua dari tiga dimensi parentification (emotional dan instrumental parentification) yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap perilaku prososial. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa bidikmisi yang berkuliah di perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN) seluruh Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18 sampai 24 tahun. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan multiple regression. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman parentification berperan positif secara signifikan terhadap perilaku prososial mahasiswa bidikmisi dan memprediksi sebesar 5.8%. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikan satu poin pada skor parentification, maka akan diikuti dengan kenaikan .24 poin pada skor perilaku prososial. Selain itu, kedua dimensi parentification (emotional dan Instrumental parentification) berperan positif secara signifikan terhadap perilaku prososial mahasiswa bidikmisi. Namun, dari kedua dimensi parentification, hanya emotional parentification yang berkontribusi terhadap perilaku prososial mahasiswa bidikmisi.

 

 


This study aims to know the relationship between experience of parentification and prosocial behaviour among bidikmisi college students. This study is retrospective study where parentification as an experience which event is happened by bidikmisi students under 18 years old and prosocial behaviour as an effect from those events which is obtained as an adult. Parentification theory which is use in this study referring to Boszormenyi-Nagy and Spark theory (1973) and prosocial theory referring to Eisenberg & Mussen theory (1989). To measure parentification in this study is use Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009) with three dimensions i.e. emotional parentification, instrumental parentification, and perceived benefit parentification and to measure prosocial behaviour is use Adults Prosocialness Instrument (Caprara, Steca, Zelli, and Capanna, 2005). The researcher also wants to see which two of three dimensions of parentification (emotional and instrumental parentification) that contribute to prosocial behavior. Participants in this study are bidikmisi students who studied in public universities all over Indonesia with age range from 18 to 24 years old. The hypotesist test is done by multiple regression. The results from this study indicates that experience of parentification has significant positive relationship towards prosocial behaviour among bidikmisi college students and predict it as much as 5.8%. The result also indicates that each increase of one point on the parentification score will be followed by  .24 point increase in prosocial behavior scores. Furthermore, two dimensions of parentification (emotional and instrumental parentification) has significant positive relationship towards prosocial behaviour among bidikmisi college students. But, only emotional parentification who contributed toward prosocial behaviour among bidikmisi college students between two dimensions of parentification.

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat kontribusi pengalaman parentification terhadap keberfungsian keluarga pada mahasiswa penerima Bidikmisi di perguruan tinggi negeri. Parentification diukur menggunakan Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2011) yang telah diadaptasi, sedangkan keberfungsian keluarga diukur menggunakan General Functioning Family Assessment Device atau GF-FAD (Epstein et al., 1983). Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 482 orang dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun (M= 20,02, SD= 1,376). Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parentification (β = 0,226, p<0,05) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap keberfungsian keluarga. Oleh karena itu, semakin tinggi parentification yang dialami maka semakin tinggi persepsi keberfungsian keluarga yang dimiliki. Hasil analisis penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dimensi emotional parentification (β = 0,228, p<0,01) memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dan positif terhadap keberfungsian keluarga, sedangkan instrumental parentification (β = -0,192, p<0,01) memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dan negatif terhadap keberfungsian keluarga.

This study aim to examine the contribution of parentification on the perception of family functioning among students of Bidikmisi scholarship. Parentification is measured by the Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009) and the perception of family functioning is measured by General Functioning Family Assesment Device or GF-FAD (Epstein et al., 1983). The participant of the study consist of 428 participant with the range of age between 18 to 25 years old (M= 20,02, SD= 1,376). This study result indicate that parentification (β = 0,226, p<0,05) positively influence the family functioning, which means that the higher parentification, the higher perception of family functioning. Furthermore, the result indicate that emotional parentification (β = 0,228, p<0,01) positively influence the family functioning and instrumental parentification (β = -0,192, p<0,01) negatively influence the family functioning of Bidikmisi scholarship students."

"Penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara fungsi keluarga dan efikasi diri pada mahasiswa penerima bidikmisi di Jabodetabek. Mahasiswa penerima bidikmisi ini merupakan mahasiswa yang berasal dari keluarga dengan tingkat sosial ekonomi rendah. Adapun teori fungsi keluarga yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada teori McMaster Model of Family Functioning (MMFF) sedangkan efikasi diri menggunakan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Bandura. Teori MMFF ini memiliki enam dimensi yaitu affective involvement, affective responsiveness, behavioral control, communication, problem solving, dan roles.Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti juga melihat dimensi-dimensi dari MMFF yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap efikasi diri. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) di Jabodetabek yang menerima beasiswa bidikmisi dengan rentang usia 18 sampai 25 tahun. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik statistika simple regression dan multiple regression. Melalui penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa fungsi keluarga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efikasi diri mahasiswa penerima bidikmisi di Jabodetabek dan dapat memprediksi sebesar 6.8%. Selain itu, terdapat satu dimensi dalam fungsi keluarga yang berkontribusi terhadap efikasi diri mahasiswa penerima bidikmisi di Jabodetabek yaitu problem solving.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between family functioning and self-efficacy among students of bidikmisi scholarship in Jabodetabek. Students of bidikmisi scholarship are students who come from family with low-socioeconomic status (SES). Family functioning theory which is used in this research is McMaster Model of Family Functioning(MMFF) theory, while self-efficacy used Bandura’s theory. The MMFF theory has six dimensions that is affective involvement, affective responsiveness, behavioural control, communication, problem solving, and roles. The researcher also wants to see which dimensions from MMFF theory that contribute to self-efficacy. The participants of this study is students of public universities who get bidikmisi scholarship with the range of the age between 18 to 25 years. The results of this study showed that the family functioning has significant relationship with self-efficacy among students of bidikmisi scholarship in Jabodetabek that can predict 6.8%. Furthermore, there is one dimension that contribute to self-efficacy among students of bidikmisi scholarship in Jabodetabek, that is problem solving"

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pengalaman parentificationterhadapkemampuan regulasi emosi pada mahasiswaperguruan tinggipenerima Bidikmisi. Pengukuran parentificationmenggunakan Parentification Inventory(Hooper, 2009), sedangkan kemampuan regulasi emosi diukur menggunakan The Brief Version of Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scaleatau DERS-16 (Bjureberg dkk, 2016). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 482 partisipan dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun (M= 20,02, SD= 1,376)dengan jumlah 351 partisipan perempuan dan 131 partisipan laki-laki. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa parentfication(β= 0,162, p<0,05) memiliki pengaruh yangpositif dan signifikan terhadapdisregulasi emosi, sehinggasemakin tinggi parentification yang dialamisemasa kecil dan remajamakasemakin buruk kemampuan regulasi emosi. Selain itu, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dimensi emotional parentification(β= -0,196, p<0,01) dan instrumental parentification(β= 0,166, p<0,05) memiliki kontribusi terhadap kemampuan regulasi emosi

ABSTRACT
This study aim to examine the influence of parentification on theability ofemotional regulation among students of Bidikmisischolarship.The measurement of parentification is using the Parentification Inventory (Hooper, 2009), and the measurement of the ability in emotional regulation is using The Brief Version of Difficulties in Emotional Regulation Scaleor DERS-16 (Bjureberg, 2016). Resultindicate that parentification (β= 0,162, p<0,05) positively influence the dysregulation in emotion, which means the higher parentification, the worse the ability in emotional regulation. Furthermore, result indicate that both emotional parentification (β = -0,196, p<0,01) and instrumental parentification(β= 0,166, p<0,05) have variance in emotional regulation.

"Skripsi ini membahas hubungan antara resiliensi dan bersyukur pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Pengambilan data terhadap 66 mahasiswa Bidikmisi Universitas Indonesia dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua buah kuesioner yang disebar melalui media internet. Kuesioner pertama adalah kuesioner resiliensi CD-RISC-10 yang dikembangkan oleh Campbell-Sills dan Stein (2007) yang telah dimodifikasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh peneliti. Kuesioner kedua adalah modifikasi Alat Ukur Bersyukur yang dikembangkan Arbiyah (2008). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara resiliensi dan bersyukur pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia, dengan r = +0,673, n = 66, p < 0,01, one tailed. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi resiliensi, maka semakin tinggi pula bersyukur pada mahasiswa Bidikmisi Universitas Indonesia.

This study explore the relationship between resilience and gratitude among students of University of Indonesia who receive Bidikmisi Scholarship. This is quantitative research with correlational design. Two questionnaires, modification of CD-RISC-10, a resilience scale developed by Campbell-Sill and Stein, and modification of Alat Ukur Bersyukur (Arbiyah, 2008), were used to obtained data from 66 students of University of Indonesia who receive Bidikmisi Scholarship. Pearson Correlation Test indicate positive significant correlation between resilince and gratitude of students of University of Indonesia who receive Bidikmisi Scholarship, with r = +0,673, n = 66, p < 0,01, one tailed. That means the higher resilience, the higher gratitude of students of University of Indonesia who receive Bidikmisi Scholarship.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara gratitude dengan coping pada mahasiswa penerima Bidikmisi. Sebanyak 100 partisipan yang merupakan mahasiswa penerima Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2011 hingga 2014 diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner gratitude dan coping. Pengukuran gratitude menggunakan The Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) yang disusun oleh McCullough, Emmons, dan Tsang (2002) dan pengukuran coping dilakukan dengan menggunakan The Brief COPE yang dikembangkan oleh Carver (1997). Pada penelitian ini tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara gratitude dengan coping pada mahasiswa penerima Bidikmisi (p >.01). Artinya, tinggi rendahnya tingkat gratitude individu tidak dapat memprediksi tinggi rendahnya tingkat coping yang dilakukan individu saat menghadapi masalah. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara gratitude dengan problem-focused coping maupun adaptive coping (p <.01).

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi pada mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia. Menurut Scheier dan Carver (1985) optimisme adalah keyakinan secara umum bahwa akan terjadi sesuatu yang baik. Menurut Atkinson (dalam Passer, 2007) motivasi berprestasi adalah keinginan yang positif untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas dalam suasana persaingan untuk memperoleh sukses dengan standar yang tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, 247 mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi berpartisipasi dengan cara mengisi kuesioner optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi. Pengukuran optimisme menggunakan alat ukur Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) yang dikembangkan oleh Scheier, Carver dan Bridges (1994), sedangkan motivasi berprestasi diukur menggunakan alat ukur Achievement Motives Scale-Revised (AMS-R) oleh Lang dan Fries (2006). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi memiliki korelasi positif yang signifikan (r=0,15, p=0,018) Hasil korelasi antara optimisme dan dimensi-dimensi motivasi berprestasi menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi dimensi hope of success (r=0,216, p=0,001) dan tidak tidak terdapat korelasi antara optimisme dan motivasi berprestasi dimensi fear of failure (r=0,025, p=0,701).;This research was conducted to investigate the correlation between optimism and achievement motivation among college student with Bidikmisi scholarship at Universitas Indonesia. "[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara optimisme dan stres pada mahasiwa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia. Optimisme dalam penelitian ini didefinisikan sebagai sebagai keyakinan umum bahwa akan terjadi sesuatu yang baik (Schieier & Carver, 1985). Stres dalam penelitian ini merupakan keadaan yang muncul ketika individu merasa bahwa ia tidak dapat secara memadai mengatasi tuntutan yang ditunjukkan pada dirinya atau merasakan adanya ancaman terhadap dirinya (Lazarus, 1966). Life Orientation Test-Revised (Carver & Scheier, 1988) dan Perceived Stress Scale (Scheier, Carver, & Bridges, 1994) digunakan untuk mengukur optimisme dan stres mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini mengambil sebanyak 258 mahasiswa Bidikmisi UI dari angkatan 2014 sampai 2011. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan dan negatif antara optimisme dan stres pada mahasiswa penerima beasiswa Bidikmisi.

Optimism measurement used Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) which developed by Scheier, Carver and Bridges (1994). Perceived social support was measured with Social Provisions Scale (SPS) which developed by Cutrona and Russell (1987). "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara optimisme dan general self-efficacy (GSE) pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di Universitas Indonesia (UI). Optimisme didefinisikan sebagai ekspektasi atau pengharapan yang bersifat umum pada seorang individu, bahwa hal-hal baik akan terjadi dan hal-hal buruk hampir minim akan terjadi di masa mendatang. GSE didefiniskan sebagai persepsi dan belief individu tentang dirinya sebagai orang yang mampu untuk melakukan beragam tugas dalam berbagai macam situasi secara efektif pada konteks yang luas. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada 250 partisipan mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di UI dengan menggunakan dua buah kuesioner, Life Orientation Test Revised (LOT-R) untuk mengukur optimisme dan General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) untuk mengukur GSE. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara optimisme dan GSE (r = 0.263, p = 0.000) pada mahasiswa penerima Beasiswa Bidikmisi di UI. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi skor optimisme individu, maka semakin tinggi pula skor GSE.

The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between optimism and general self-efficacy (GSE) among students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia. Optimism was defined as „„the generalized outcome expectancies in individuals that good things will happen in the future and bad things will be minimal”. GSE was defined as “individuals‟ perception and belief in their tendency to view themselves as capable of performing task demands across variety of different situations effectively in a broad array of contexts”. Two questionnaires, Life Orientation Test Revised (LOT-R) measured optimism and General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) measured GSE, were used to obtain data from 250 students of Bidikmisi Scholarship at Universitas Indonesia as participants. The result of Pearson Correlation Test indicated positive and significant correlation between optimism and GSE (r = 0.263, p = 0.000). The result explained that the higher score of optimism, would be followed by higher score of GSE."
