"Gempa Bumi Besar Jepang Timur (bencana 3/11) menyebabkan kerusakan, namun juga memunculkan potensi untuk memanfaatkan lokasi yang terpengaruh bencana untuk pariwisata melalui dark tourism. Pro dan kontra muncul terutama pada keberadaan kapal Kyotokumaru 18 yang terbawa ke daratan kota Kesennuma pasca bencana. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana pengunjung dan juga masyarakat setempat kota Kesennuma memaknai dark tourism di kota tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa meskipun keberadaan kapal sebagai objek dark tourism di Kesennuma dapat menjadi mediator kematian bagi pengunjung dan masyarakat, namun hal tersebut tidak terjadi setelah penolakan dari masyarakat membuatnya harus dihancurkan.

Great East Japan Earthquake (3/11 disaster) brings destruction, but also bring a potential to harness the location affected by disaster for tourism through dark tourism. There are pro and contra especially in the existence of Kyotokumaru 18, a ship stranded in the city of Kesennuma because of the disaster.

This research discusses how visitor and the local interpret dark tourism in Kesennuma city. This research finds that although Kyotokumaru 18 existence can be a mediator of mortality for both the visitor and locals, the rejection from locals that resulted in the scrapping of the ship shows that it didn't happen."

"Kopi merupakan komoditas ekspor yang diandalkan menjadi sumber penghasilan bagi 1,5 juta petani kopi di Indonesia salah satunya spesies kopi robusta. Kopi robusta menjadi spesies kopi yang mendominasi untuk ditanam di Indonesia yaitu sebesar 73,06% dari total produksi kopi di Indonesia. Proses roasting merupakan tahapan penting dalam pemberian rasa pada kopi. Kafein merupakan salah satu senyawa yang memberikan rasa pada kopi. Namun, penelitian kopi di Indonesia masih sedikit terutama tentang analisis senyawa kafein pada proses roasting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis senyawa kafein pada light dan dark roasting berdasarkan GC-MS ekstrak biji kopi robusta yang dilarutkan dengan pelarut akuades. Sampel merupakan hasil dari light roasting dan dark roasting yang berasal dari pulau Jawa dan Sulawesi dengan tidak adanya pengulangan. Uji beda mean populasi (Uji T) digunakan untuk membandingkan kandungan senyawa kafein pada tipe roasting yang berbeda. Rata-rata luas area di bawah peak pada tiap kelompok sampel kopi dibandingkan menggunakan Uji T untuk melihat perbedaannya dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0.05. Hasil Uji T menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kandungan senyawa kafein pada light roasting dan dark roasting.

Coffee is an export commodities that is reliable as the source of income to 1,5 billion of Indonesian farmers one of them is robusta coffee species. Robusta coffe is the dominant species to be planted in Indonesia, comprising of 73.06% of Indonesia total coffee production. roasting process is the critical process which will give flavors to coffee. caffeine is one of compounds that contributes to the taste of coffee. The objective of this study was to analyze caffeine compounds on light and dark roasting of robusta coffee extracts dilluted in aquades based on GC-MS method. the samples were light and dark roasted coffee beans from Java and Sulawesi.  Caffeine compounds contained on two different roasting methods were compared with The Unequal Variance T test. The mean of area under the peak on each sample groups were compared with T test to investigate the difference on significance α = 0.05. The T test showed that there were no difference on the caffeine compound contained in light and dark roasting methods."
