"ABSTRACTNon-Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension (NCPH) is a rare cause of hematemesis and melena. Like in cirrhotic patient, hematemesis in NCPH patient was caused by rupture of esophageal varices. But unlike in cirrhotic patient, in NCPH there are no sign of liver failure, because liver physiology is still normal. We reported case of male patient with NCPH that had hematemesis because of rupture of esophageal varices."

"Diagnosis of non cirrhotic portal fibrosis was considered when the following criteria were fulfilled evidence of portal hypertension (oesophageal varices, hypersplenism, ascites, or increased hepatic venous pressure gradient), Doppler ultrasound showing patent portal and hepatic veins, and liver biopsy showing sign of cirrhosis. Non cirrhotic portal fibrosis clinically characterized by splenomegaly, anemia, portal hypertension, and histopathological examination portal tract showing fibrosis and sclerosis. Portal hypertension are most caused by a cirrhotic liver (85%), there are only a few reports on non cirrhotic portal hypertension, mostly in Japan and India. We reported a case of non cirrhotic portal fibrosis in young male. The clinical complications of portal hypertension are variceal bleeding and pancytopenia due to hypersplenism. Variceal band ligation and splenectomy were performed. The patient showed good clinical response"

"Ultrasonography examination is an one of examination that can be used to see the abnormality of portal vein system. The technology of ultrasonography examination has further developed especially after using of Doppler ultrasonography which could portray haemodynamic changes from portal vein in liver cirrhosis patient. From this examination we also could predict bleeding."

"Based on its relation to the liver sinusoid, increased pressure of portal vein can occur at three levels: presinusoid, sinusoid ,and postsinusoid. Obstruction of the presinusoid veins can be caused by extra-hepatic condition such as venous thrombosis.

We reported a case of portal hypertension with esophageal varices bleeding was a result of obstruction due to thrombosis of the splenic vein and portal vein under hypercoagulant conditions due to thrombocyto-sis. The management of esophageal varices was sclerotherapy while for overcome the thrombosis the patient was given hydroxy urea."

Manggarai’s position as transit hub in Jakarta certainly impacts local residents’ economy. Manggarai needs transit-oriented development (TOD) planning, Simpul Manggarai, to integrate local residents’ needs with Manggarai’s potential as transit center. As a TOD, Simpul Manggarai has several economy activities, one of them is edutainment (education-entertainment). Portal Manggarai, as a part of edutainment block, is an education center based on digital communication technology. The usage of digital communication technologies, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and hologram, saves space and time as well provides freedom in communicating. The presence of Portal Manggarai gives good impacts on local residents and outsiders, such as education, digital talent development, job creation, and supporting a sustainable community of Simpul Manggarai."

"Hipertensi intrakranial idiopatik merupakan suatu penyakit tidak menular yang meningkatkan tekanan intrakranial seseorang tanpa penyebab yang jelas. Kondisi ini tidak terlalu sering terjadi, namun seiring berjalannya waktu insiden IIH semakin meningkat, dengan gejala yang paling utama dirasakan berupa nyeri kepala. Tujuan laporan ini untuk menganalisis asuhan keperawatan medikal bedah dan keefektifan penggunaan terapi musik pada pasien dengan diagnosis IIH. Metode praktik menggunakan intervensi terapi musik instrumental selama kurang lebih 20 menit dan dilakukan saat pasien mengalami nyeri kepala selama 3 hari. Setelah pemberian intervensi terjadi penurunan sensasi nyeri yang terukur pada skala VAS (Visual Analog Scale) sekitar 1-2 poin setiap harinya. Terapi musik direkomendasikan dapat diaplikasikan juga secara mandiri oleh pasien dan keluarga saat berada di rumah dengan menggunakan media yang ada dan memilih jenis musik sesuai dengan preferensi pasien.

Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a non-transmittable disease that increases a person's intracranial pressure for unknown reasons. This condition does not occur very often, but over time the incidence of IIH has increased, with the main symptom being severe headaches. The purpose of this report is to analyze the surgical nursing care and the effectiveness of using music therapy for patients with a diagnosis of IIH. The method that was used is instrumental music therapy intervention with the approximate duration of 20 minutes and was carried out when the patient experienced headache episodes throughout the span of 3 days. After providing the intervention, there was a decrease in severe pain sensation on the VAS (Visual Analog Scale) scale for approximately 1-2 points daily. Music therapy is also recommended to be applied independently by the patient and family while at home by using available media and choosing the type of music according to the patient's preferences"

"Helicobacter pylori (Hp) infection is the most common chronic bacterial infection in human. The role of Hp infection in various GI disorders had been widely accepted. However, further studies have found new extragastrointestinal involvement such as urticaria. Chronic urticaria is a common disorder that has complex pathophysiologic mechanism. As mater of fact, etiology remains unclear in most of the cases. This condition is called Idiopathic Chronic Urticaria. Several studies had shown high prevalence of Hp infection in patients with ICU and improved symptoms after eradication therapy of Hp. This observation had suggested that Hp has important role as etiologic factor in some cases of ICU. The presence of Hp infection and its role in ICU should be proven before initiating eradication therapy, so that irrational used of drugs and antibiotics resistance can be prevented."
