"AbstrakThere are several affecting factors to the Employees performance. This research aimed to examines the factor that influences work motivation and employees performance. The method was the structural equation model. The results found that leadership style and compensation affect the work motivation, but the variable of work discipline does not have an impact on work motivation. This study also found that work discipline and compensation affect the employees performance, but the leadership style does not have an impact. The Policy implications suggest the chairman to set-up leadership style appropriate to the employees situation, and compensation should be enhanced, awards and penalties apply to increase employees discipline and welfare."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kesehatan bank syariah di Indonesia dan Malaysia untuk mengukur kesiapan bank syariah di kedua negara. Studi ini menggunakan data laporan keuangan tahunan 10 bank syariah di Indonesia dan 10 bank syariah di Malaysia pada kurun waktu 2012-2014. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bank syariah di Malaysia lebih siap dibandingkan bank syariah di Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode GAMEL. Bank syariah di Malaysia cenderung lebih sehat di banding bank syariah di INdonesia selama periode tahun 2012 sampai 2014. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa bank syariah di Indonesia perlu mendivesfikasi produk-produknya baik dalam pembiayaan maupun pendanaan dalam rangka berkompetisi di regional ASEAN."

"AbstrakSeveral researchers found a positive relationship between the companys performance and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The current study aims to explore the clients awareness and perception of CSR in Islamic and conventional banks across Bahrain. The study surveyed 305 clients that 175 from the Islamic banks, and 130 from the conventional banks. The results indicated that the clients of Islamic banks are more aware of their banks CSR activities than the clients of conventional banks. The result shows that Islamic banks clients have a more positive perception of their banks CSR than those of the conventional banks. Additionally, the results indicated that there are statistically significant differences in the clients awareness and perception of banks CSR activities when the clients group according to age, income, education, and bank type."

"Pada skripsi ini terdapat pembahasan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan kesesuaian syariah dalam produk iB Hasanah Card agar sesuai dengan aturan dawabith wa hudud serta bagaimana konsekuensi yang diberikan apabila terjadi penggunaan iB Hasanah Card yang tidak sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Dengan metode yuridis normatif skripsi ini menjelaskan hubungan antara aturan dawabith wa hudud yang terdapat pada Fatwa DSN No.54/DSN-MUI/X/2006 dengan kesesuaian produk iB Hasanah Card yang menjadikan iB Hasanah Card memilik sistem reject otomatis untuk menjaga kesesuaian syariah guna mematuhi aturan dawabith wa hudud. Pembahasan ini berkesimpulan bahwa iB Hasanah Card BNI Syariah yang merupakan produk yang berasaskan syariah telah berusaha menyesuaikan produknya dengan aturan syariah melalui jenis akad, mekanisme produk, pagu yang dimiliki hingga fitur yang ditawarkannya.

There are discussion in this thesis to see how the application of sharia compliance in the product iB Hasanah Card according to rule dawabith wa hudud and how given the use of consequences if there is any iB Hasanah Card is not in accordance with the prevailing regulations .With the methods of juridical normative this thesis define the connection between dawabith wa hudud rules which is found in National Sharia Board Rules No.54 DSN / DSN-MUI /X / 2006 with the compliance of iB Hasanah Card who made this card has a system to keep reject automatic due to the compliance towards dawabith wa hudud rules. This discussion concludes that iB Hasanah Card BNI Syariah which is a product that is based on sharia has tried to adapt its products to the rule of sharia by type of contract , the mechanism of the product , the ceiling of which is owned by the features it offers."

"Pertumbuhan modal untuk mendanai operasional keseharian dan ekspansi jangka panjang adalah elemen konstan di dunia usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat optimal struktur modal yang dapat di adopsi perusahaan untuk memperbaiki kinerja keuangan mereka mengingat dinamika industri dan keadaan ekonomi suatu negara. Dengan menggunakan uji spesifikasi Hausman, data tahunan untuk index saham yang tercatat pada tahun 2005-2014 dari Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 telah dikumpulkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh leverage keuangan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Return to asset, return on equiy dan TOBIN's Q adalah proxy kinerja keuangan yang dianalisis terhadap leverage keuangan untuk perusahaan indeks KSE 100 yang terdaftar. Temuan makalah menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal, leverage,interest cover dan pertumbuhan penjualan sebagai variabel paling signifikan yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan."

"AbstrakThe influence of work ethics on employee performance is highly important. There has been indeed contradictive sight on some researches related to religious alliances. This research is aimed at analyzing the direct and indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. Data analysis is used path analysis. The sample of the study consists of 70 respondents. The result shows that Islamic work ethics has direct and indirect influence on organizational commitment. The indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment is lower than the direct one. Islamic work ethics can increase organizational commitment indirectly through job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the total indirect influence of Islamic work ethic on organizational commitment is smaller than the direct one. The managerial implication of the current research is that the principal should conduct an ongoing assessment on the work satisfaction of the teachers and employees in order to enhance their organizational commitment."

"Robust measurement of interest rates speed of adjustment to monetary policy changes is very important to obtain acomprehensive understanding on the monetary transmission process and the eectiveness of monetary policy. The speed of adjustment are determined by number of frictions that interfere with the transmission of monetary policy.We measure Indonesia interest rate pass-through which have distinct characteristics in terms of banking competition, segmented banking market and concentrated structure. Interest rate pass-through is measured by using Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and Mean Adjusted Lags (MAL). This paper shows the interest rate adjustment did take a relatively long time.

Pengukuran kecepatan penyesuaian suku bunga perbankan terhadap perubahan kebijakan moneter sangat penting sehingga diperoleh pemahaman komprehensif atas proses transmisi moneter dan efektivitas kebijakan. Kecepatan perubahan suku bunga deposito dan kredit perbankan ditentukan oleh adanya friksi-friksi transmisi kebijakan moneter ke sektor perbankan dan sektor riil. Penelitian ini mengukur interest rate pass-through perbankan Indonesia yang memiliki karakteristik khas dalam hal tingkat kompetisi perbankan, segmentasi pasar, dan struktur industri perbankan yang tinggi. Interest rate pass-through diukur dengan menggunakan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) dan Mean Adjusted Lags (MAL). Hasil uji menunjukkan penyesuaian suku bunga membutuhkan waktu yang lama."

"ABSTRAKWe investigated the effect of changes in CEO position on subsequent firm performance by studying 91 CEO turnovers in Indonesia. Our results show that firm performance decreases during the turnover year. Moreover, the incoming CEO does not increase firm performance in subsequent years. Indeed, there is evidence that firm performance decreases after such turnovers. We ultimately conclude that CEO turnovers in Indonesia do not have a positive effect on firm performance. Going further, we divided CEO turnovers into routine and non-routine turnovers on the basis of the turnover process. Both routine and non-routine CEO turnovers show similar results with all samples, in which the incoming CEO in a routine or non-routine turnover does not have a positive effect upon firm performance. Further evidence suggests that the incoming CEO tends to upsize firm assets rather than downsize them."

"The impacts of exchange rate to an economy both domestically and internationally are an interesting discussion. One of the examples for discussion is exchange rate pass-through (ERPT). ERPT is defined as the rate of change of prices (domestic, imported or exported) as a result of change in exchange rate. Consumer price index (CPI) is one of the most frequent indicators used for measuring domestic price. This paper analyzes the impacts of exchange rate change (ERPT) to seven group of CPI in Indonesia. The Cholesky Decomposition is employed to identify structural shock of Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) which then combined with Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) for 48 time series units. The result shows that for the entire period there is an incomplete pass-through for the seven group of CPI. The largest effect occurs in the transportation and communication sector and food and beverages sector in which 35 percent of their changes in CPI are affected by change in exchange rate."
