"Salah satu metode deteksi dini kanker mulut rahim melalui deteksi
keberadaan atau infeksi HPVadalah metode Hybrid Capture. Dalam
penelitian ini akan dicari primer sebagai pengganti probe dalam rangka
memodifikasi metode Hybrid Capture. Metode yang digunakan adalah
metode bioinformatik. Sekuens genom HPV dari database dibagi menjadi
tiga kelompok beidasarkan kecenderungannya menyebabkan kanker, dan
data dibuat dalam tiga bentuk yaitu genom total, gen E?, dan gen E7.
Multiple alignment dilakukan untuk menoari kesamaan antar sekuens
tersebut, dan memperoleh conserved area yang akan digunakan sebagai
template. Untuk mendapatkan daerah yang spesifik, maka seleksi lebih lanjut
terhadap conserved region menggunakan Basic Local Alignment Search
Tool (BLAST). Diperoleh empat segmen dengan basil terbaik, yaitu segmen
3 dan 27 dari basil alignment genom total High-Risk. segmen 1 dari basil
alignment daerah gen E7 High-Risk, dan segmen 4 dari basil alignment
daerah gen E7 High-Risk + Low Risk. "
