"Penyakit paru obstruksi kronis PPOK merupakan penyebab kematian ketiga di dunia dengan prevalensi 5,6 di Indonesia. Penderita PPOK berisiko mengalami eksaserbasi yang dicetuskan oleh inflamasi dan/atau stres oksidatif. Stres oksidatif akan mempengaruhi status antioksidan di dalam tubuh termasuk vitamin E. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara kadar vitamin E serum dan kekerapan eksaserbasi pada penderita PPOK. Penelitian potong lintang ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Persahabatan pada bulan April-Agustus 2016, melibatkan 47 penderita PPOK. Asupan vitamin E dinilai dengan food frequency questionnaire FFQ semikuantitatif, kekerapan eksaserbasi didapatkan dari wawancara dan/atau rekam medis, kadar vitamin E serum ditentukan mengunakan high performance liquid chromatography HPLC . Rerata asupan vitamin E subjek adalah 5,8 2,9 mg/hari, di bawah Angka Kecukupan Gizi. Nilai median kadar vitamin E serum 10,8 3,0 ? 14,8 ?mol/L, dan kekerapan eksaserbasi 2 0 ? 9 kali/tahun. Tidak didapatkan korelasi bermakna antara kadar vitamin E serum dan kekerapan eksaserbasi.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD is the third leading cause of death in the world with a prevalence of 5.6 in Indonesia. COPD patients were at risk of exacerbations which may be triggered by inflammation and or oxidative stress. Oxidative stress will affect the antioxidant status, including vitamin E. The aim of this study was to investigate a correlation between serum vitamin E concentration and exacerbation frequency of COPD. This cross sectional study was conducted at Persahabatan General Hospital from April to August 2016, involving 47 COPD patients. Vitamin E intake was assessed using semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire FFQ , exacerbation frequency was obtained by interview and or medical records, serum vitamin E concentration was determined using high performance liquid chromatography HPLC . Subjects rsquo mean vitamin E intake was 5.8 2.9 mg day, which did not meet Recommended Dietary Allowance. Median serum vitamin E concentration was 10.8 3.0 14.8 mol L, and exacerbation frequency was 2 0 9 times year. There was no significant correlation between serum vitamin E concentration and exacerbation frequency. "

"Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik PPOK adalah penyakit akibat stres oksidatif penyebab menurunnya fungsi paru sehingga mempengaruhi kualitas hidup penderitanya.Tes baku untuk mengukur kualitas hidup PPOK adalah COPD AssessmentTest CAT . Vitamin C sebagai antioksidan banyak terdapat di cairan pelapis epitel paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara kadar vitamin C serum dan skor CAT pada PPOK. Penelitian potong lintang ini dilakukan di RSUP Persahabatan,Jakarta Timur, melibatkan 47 subjek dengan metode consecutive sampling. Data karakteristik subjek dan asupan vitamin C secara FFQ semikuantitatif didapatkan melalui wawancara. Data klasifikasi klinis, fungsi paru, komorbid, skor CAT didapatkan dari rekam medis dan wawancara. Status gizi ditentukan berdasarkan Indeks Masa Tubuh IMT , dan kadar vitamin C serum dengan spektrofotometer. Semua subjek laki-laki, rerata usia 66,6 tahun, sebagian besar bekas perokok berat dengan fungsi paru rendah. Status gizi kurang pada 25 subjek, skor CAT kategori ringan, asupan vitamin C cukup, dan kadar vitamin C rendah. Tidak didapatkan korelasi antara kadar vitamin C serum dan skor CAT.

COPD is a disease due to oxidative stress causing low pulmonary function, resulting in low quality of life. A standard test to measure the quality of life in COPD is COPD Assessment Test CAT . Vitamin C as antioxidant is widely available in the pulmonary epithelial fluid. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between serum vitamin C level and CAT score in COPD. This cross sectional study was conducted at Persahabatan Hospital, East Jakarta, involving 47 subjects using consecutive sampling method. Interview was used to assess subjects rsquo characteristics and vitamin C intake using semi quantitative FFQ. Clinical classification, lung function, comorbidity, and CAT scores were gathered from medical records or interview. BMI was used to determine nutritional status, while vitamin C serum level was assessed using spectrophotometry. All subjects were male, mean age was 66.6 years, mostly ex heavy smokers, with decreased lung function, and 25 were undernourished. Vitamin C intake was sufficient, but low in serum vitamin C level and CAT score. There was no correlation between serum vitamin C levels and CAT score. "

"Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik PPOK merupakan penyakit dengan penurunan fungsi paru, yang melibatkan stres oksidatif pada patogenesisnya. Likopen diketahui merupakan salah satu karotenoid utama pada jaringan paru dengan aktivitas antioksidan sangat kuat. Penelitian potong lintang ini dilakukan di RSUP Persahabatan, Jakarta Timur, melibatkan 47 subjek dengan tujuan mengetahui korelasi antara kadar likopen serum dengan fungsi paru pada penderita PPOK. Karakteristik subjek dan asupan likopen didapatkan melalui wawancara menggunakan food frequency questionairre FFQ semi-kuantitatif. Kategori diagnosis PPOK didapatkan dari rekam medis atau wawancara. Status gizi ditentukan berdasarkan Indeks Masa Tubuh IMT , fungsi paru ditentukan menggunakan spirometri, dan kadar likopen serum diukur dengan High Performance Liquid Chromatography HPLC . Semua subjek laki-laki, terbanyak berusia ge;60 tahun, hampir separuh bekas perokok berat, 51 berstatus gizi normal. Asupan likopen 4.407 256 ndash;18.331 mg/hari, lebih rendah daripada asupan orang sehat. Kadar likopen serum 0,57 0,25 mmol/L, setara dengan orang sehat. Terdapat korelasi positif p=0,001; r=0,464 antara kadar likopen serum dengan VEP1/KVP, namun tidak terdapat korelasi kadar likopen serum dengan VEP1/Prediksi dan KVP/Prediksi.

This cross sectional study was conducted at Persahabatan Hospital Jakarta, involving 47 subjects, aiming to investigate the correlation between serum lycopene level and lung function in COPD subjects. Interview was used to assess subjects rsquo characteristics and lycopene intake using semi quantitative food frequency questionnaire FFQ . COPD grouping was gathered from medical records or interview. Body mass index BMI was used to determine nutritional status, lung function test conducted by spirometry, while lycopene serum level was assessed using High Performance Liquid Chromatography HPLC method. All subjects were male, majority ge 60 years old, almost half ex heavy smokers, about 51 were in normal nutritional status. Lycopene intake was 4,407 256 ndash 18,331 mg day, lower compared to healthy subjects rsquo . Serum lycopene level was 0.57 0.25mmol L, similar to normal level in healthy individuals. There was a correlation p 0.001 r 0.464 between serum lycopene level and FEV1 FVC, but no correlations between serum lycopene level and FEV1 , neither was FVC . "

"Penyakit paru obstruksif kronik PPOK merupakan penyakit paru dengan karakteristik hambatan aliran udara yang progresif, karena peningkatan reaksi peradangan kronik berlebihan pada saluran napas dan parenkim paru. Stres oksidatif terutama akibat pajanan rokok dalam jangka waktu lama berperan sentral pada patogenesis PPOK. Beta karoten suatu karotenoid punya peran pada stres oksidatif dengan kemampuan mereduksi paling tinggi dan lebih efisien mengikat radikal yang berasal dari dalam dinding liposom pada kompartemen lipofilik dinding sel. Di Indonesia bahan makanan sumber β-karoten mudah didapat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari hubungan antara kadar β-karoten dan MDA serum pada penderita PPOK. Penelitian pontong lintang ini mengikutsertakan 47 penderita PPOK melalui metode consecutive sampling. Data sosio-demografi, riwayat merokok, asupan β-karoten secara FFQ semikuantitatif diperoleh dengan wawancara. Data skor CAT, kekerapan kekambuhan dan uji fungsi paru terbaru didapatkan dari rekam medik. Dilakukan pengukuran IMT, kadar MDA serum dengan spektrofotometri dan β-karoten serum dengan HPLC. Subjek paling banyak berusia 60-74 tahun, bekas perokok, dengan IMT normal. Asupan dan kadar ?-karoten serum rendah pada sebagian besar 63,8 subjek. Kadar MDA serum cenderung lebih tinggi daripada orang sehat, menandakan adanya penngkatan stres oksidatif pada penderita PPOK. Tidak didapatkan adanya korelasi antara kadar β-karoten dan MDA serum.

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD is a lung disease, characterized by progressive air flow resistance, which increase chronic inflammatory reactions of the airways and lung parenchyma. A history of exposure to risk factors, especially smoking, for long term contribute to the central role of oxidative stress in the pathogenesis of COPD. Beta carotene as one of the antioxidants may play a role in oxidative stress among COPD patients, carotene's food source is abandon in Indonesia. This cross sectional study aimed to investigate relationship between levels of serum carotene and MDA in COPD patients. Consecutive sampling was applied to recruit 47 COPD subjects, who mainly subjects elderly with history of heavy smoking. Socio demographic data, smoking history, intake of carotene by semiquantitative FFQ was obtained by interview. CAT score, frequency of exacerbations and lung function tests were obtained from medical records. Nutritional status by BMI, concentration of carotene by HPLC and MDA serum by spectrophotometry were assessed. More than 50 subjects'carotene intake and serum level were lower than reference. Serum MDA level was higher than healthy person's, indicating an increase oxidative stress among COPD patients. There was no correlation between serum carotene and MDA levels. "

"Tujuan: Penelitian ini adalah studi potong lintang untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kadar vitamin E serum dan aktivitas superoxide dismutase (SOD) eritrosit pada penderita HIV/AIDS.
Bahan dan cara: Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada pasien rawat jalan di klinik Pokdisus, RSUPNCM Jakarta selama akhir Februari 2013 sampai bulan Maret 2013. Subyek diperoleh dengan metode consecutive sampling. Sebanyak 52 subjek memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, rekam medis, dan pengukuran antropometri untuk menilai status gizi, dan pemeriksaan laboratorium yaitu kadar vitamin E serum dan aktivitas SOD eritrosit.
Hasil: Sebagian besar subjek adalah laki-laki (51,9%), usia rata-rata adalah 34 ± 4,84 tahun. Malnutrisi terjadi pada 55,8% dari subyek dan semua subyek (100%) memiliki asupan vitamin E yang kurang dari Angka Kecukupan Gizi (AKG) Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, sebagian besar subjek telah mendapatkan terapi ARV (94,2%). Jumlah CD4 <200sel/uL ditemukan pada 17 subyek (32,7%). Kadar vitamin E serum yang rendah didapat pada semua subyek (100%) dengan nilai rata-rata kadar vitamin E serum 3,84 (1,77-7,32) umol / L, sementara aktivitas SOD eritrosit yang cukup ditemukan pada 53,8% dari subyek dengan nilai rata-rata 1542,1 ± 281,04 U / g Hb.
Kesimpulan: Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kadar serum vitamin E dan aktivitas SOD ditemukan dalam penelitian ini. (R = 0,047, p = 0,742).

Objective: The aim of this cross sectional study was to find a correlation between serum level of vitamin E and erythrocyte superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in HIV/AIDS patients.
Material and method: Data collection was conducted at Pokdisus outpatient clinic, RSUPNCM Jakarta, from late February 2013 to March 2013. Subjects were obtained with the consecutive sampling method. A total of 52 subjects had met the study criteria. Data were collected through interviews, medical records, and anthropometry measurements to assess the nutritional status, and through laboratory examination (i.e. serum level of vitamin E and erythrocyte SOD activity).
Results: The majority of the subjects were male (51,9%) with a mean age of 34 ± 4.84 years. Malnutrition occured in 55.8% of the subjects and all subjects (100%) had vitamin E intake that is less than the Indonesian recommended dietary allowance (RDA). In this study, most subjects had already been on ARV therapy (94.2%). Low CD4 cell count was found in 17 subjects (32.7%). Vitamin E deficiency was found in all subjects (100%) with a median value of serum level of vitamin E of 3.84 (1.77 to 7.32) μmol / L, while normal SOD activity was found in 53.8% of the subjects with a mean value of 1,542.1 ± 281.04 U / g Hb.
Conclusion: No significant correlation between serum level of vitamin E and SOD activity was found in this study (r = 0.047, p = 0.742).

"Serat asbes yang terinhalasi masuk ke dalam alveolus menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan produksi reactive oxigen spesies (ROS) yang dapat memicu terjadinya reaksi inflamasi. Interleukin 6 merupakan penanda reaksi inflamasi akibat pajanan serat asbes. Vitamin C dan E merupakan antioksidan yang bekerja sebagai scavenger ROS. Vitamin C juga dapat menghambat aktivitas faktor transkripsi NFқB. Vitamin E selain dapat menghambat aktivitas faktor transkripsi JAK/STAT3 dan NFқB, juga dapat menghambat aktivitas COX2 dan LOX5.
Penelitian potong lintang di sekretariat serikat buruh pabrik asbes X Kabupaten Karawang bulan Oktober 2014 dilakukan untuk menilai korelasi asupan vitamin C, E dengan kadar interleukin 6 pada pekerja pabrik asbes. Lima puluh dua pekerja pabrik asbes berhasil menyelesaikan protokol penelitian. Hasilnya menunjukkan tidak terdapat korelasi bermakna (p >0,05) antara asupan vitamin C dengan kadar IL-6 dan antara asupan vitamin E dengan kadar IL-6. Terdapat korelasi positif antara kadar vitamin C dengan kadar IL-6 (r = 0,31) dengan p <0,05, namun tidak terdapat korelasi antara kadar vitamin E dengan kadar IL-6.

Asbestos fibers that are inhaled into the alveoli cause increased production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) which may trigger inflammation reaction. Interleukin 6 (IL-6) is a marker of inflammation reaction caused by asbestos fibers exposure. Vitamin C and vitamin E are antioxidants acting as ROS scavengers. Vitamin C can also inhibit the activity of transcription factor NFқB. Vitamin E can inhibit the activities of transcription factors JAK/STAT3 and NFқB as well as the activities of COX2 and LOX5.
A cross-sectional sudy at a labor union secretariat in Karawang Regency in October 2014 was conducted to evaluate the correlations between intakes and levels of vitamin C and vitamin E and level of IL-6 in asbestos factory workers. Fifty two asbestos factory workers finished the study. The result showed no significant correlation between vitamin C intake and IL-6 level or between vitamin E intake and IL-6 level. There was a moderate positive correlation between vitamin C level and IL-6 level (r = 0.31, p <0.05), but there was no correlation between vitamin E level and IL-6 level.

"Prevalensi penyakit kardiovaskuler (PKV) meningkat seiring dengan proses penuaan. Aterosklerosis yang menyebabkan terjadinya inflamasi dan diikuti peningkatan kadar C-reactive protein (CRP). Vitamin D merupakan vitamin yang memiliki efek antiinflamasi dan dapat menurunkan kadar hsCRP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan desain potong lintang yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kadar vitamin D dengan kadar hsCRP pada usia lanjut (usila). Penelitian dilakukan di Pusat Santunan Keluarga (Pusaka) 12 di Tomang dan Pusaka 39 di Senen pada pertengahan bulan Desember 2012 sampai bulan Januari 2013. Pengambilan subyek dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling, dan didapatkan 71 orang subyek yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara meliputi data usia, asupan vitamin D dengan metode Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) semikuantitatif serta total skor pajanan sinar matahari mingguan. Pengukuran antropometri untuk menilai status gizi dan pemeriksaan laboratorium yang meliputi kadar vitamin D dan hsCRP. Didapatkan median usia 69 (60-85) tahun dan 80,3% subyek adalah perempuan. Malnutrisi terdapat pada 71,8 % subyek. Asupan vitamin D menunjukkan 98,6% subyek memiliki asupan vitamin D kurang dari Angka Kecukupan Gizi (AKG) Indonesia. Sebanyak 97,2% subyek memiliki skor pajanan sinar matahari rendah. Nilai rerata kadar vitamin D 38,02±12,94 nmol/L dan 78% subyek tergolong defisiensi vitamin D. Nilai median kadar hsCRP 1,5 (0,1-49,6) mg/L, dan 67,6% subyek tergolong risiko PKV sedang dan tinggi. Didapatkan korelasi positif tidak bermakna antara kadar vitamin D serum dengan kadar hsCRP pada usila (r=0,168, p=0,162).

The prevalence of cardiovascular disease (CVD) increases in the elderly. Atherosclerosis is a major cause of CVD which stimulate inflammation and followed by increase production of C-reactive protein (CRP). Vitamin D is a vitamin which has anti-inflammatory effects and may reduce level of hsCRP. The aim of this cross sectional study was to find the correlation between serum vitamin D level and hsCRP in elderly. Data collection was conducted during December 2012 to January 2013 on 2 selected Pusaka, Pusaka 12 (Tomang) and Pusaka 39 (Senen). Subjects were obtained using cluster random sampling method. A total of 71 elderly subjects had met the study criteria. Data were collected through interviews including age, vitamin D intake and weekly score of sunlight exposure. Anthropometry measurements to assess the nutritional status and laboratory examination i.e blood levels of vitamin D and hsCRP. Majority of the subjects were female (80,3%), median age was 69 (60-85) years. Malnutrition was occured in 71.8% of the subjects. Intake of vitamin D showed 98.6% of the subjects were less than recommended dietary allowances (RDA). Majority of the subjects had low score of sunlight exposure (97,2%). Mean of vitamin D levels 38,02±12,94 nmol/L, while 78% the of subjects were categorized as vitamin D deficiency. Median of hsCRP levels 1,5 (0,1-49,6) mg/L, while 67,6% subjects were at moderate and high risk of CVD. No significant correlation was found between serum vitamin D levels and hsCRP levels (r=0,168, p=0,162).

"Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kadar vitamin C serum
dengan kadar SOD eritrosit pada penderita HIV/AIDS . Penelitian dilakukan di UPT
HIV RSUPNCM Jakarta mulai bulan Februari sampai Maret 2013. Penelitian ini
merupakan studi potong lintang terhadap 52 orang penderita HIV. Data yang diambil
meliputi data karakteristik subyek berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin dan pendidikan,
asupan energi, asupan vitamin C, status gizi, riwayat pengobatan ARV, jumlah
limfosit T CD4. Dilakukan pemeriksaan laboratorium untuk mengukur kadar vitamin
C serum dan kadar SOD eritrosit. Analisis korelasi menggunakan uji Pearson dengan
kemaknaan p<0,05. Hasil: Subyek penelitian 25 perempuan dan 27 laki-laki, rerata
usia 33,60±4,84 tahun. 80,8% berada dalam rentang usia 30–40 tahun dan 82,7%
berpendidikan sedang. Asupan energi 76,9% kurang dengan rerata untuk perempuan
1700,41±316,25kkal/hari dan rerata laki-laki 1996,33±525,72kkal/hari. Asupan
vitamin C 100% kurang dengan rerata untuk perempuan 46,62±15,66mg/hari dan
laki-laki 46,97±13,39mg/hari. Status gizi 44,2% cukup dan 40,4% lebih dengan rerata
IMT 21,98±3,48kg/m2. Sebanyak 94,2% sudah mendapat ARV dan jumlah limfosit T
CD4 terbanyak berada pada kategori II CDC (200–499sel/?L) yaitu sebanyak 63,5%
dengan median 245(50–861)sel/?L. Kadar vitamin C serum sebanyak 92,3% dalam
kategori rendah dengan median 0,23(0,10–0,56)mg/dL. Kadar SOD eritrosit
terbanyak (53,8%) dalam kategori normal dengan rerata 1542,10±5,42U/gHb.
Terdapat korelasi negatif lemah yang tidak bermakna antara kadar vitamin C serum
dengan kadar SOD eritosit (r= −0,109 dan p=0,442)

The objective of this study was to investigate the correlation between serum vitamin
C concentration and erythrocyte SOD concentration of HIV/AIDS patients. Study
was conducted at UPT HIV/AIDS RSUPNCM from February to March 2013. The
study was a cross sectional study of 52 HIV/AIDS patients. Data collected including
subject characteristic age, sex, education, energy intake by food record 2x24 hour,
vitamin C intake by FFQ semikuantitatif, nutritional status, history of ART, and CD4
lymphocyte count. Conducted laboratory tests to measure serum vitamin C
concentration and erythrocyte SOD concentration. Statistical analysis was done using
Pearson’s correlation test.
Result: Subject consisted of 27 men and 25 women, mean of age 33.60±4.84years
old. 80.8% age in range 30–40years old. 82.7% were medium education level. 76.9%
subject had low energy intake, mean 1700.41±316.25kcal/day for women and mean
1996.33±525.72kcal/day for men. 100% subject had low vitamin C intake with mean
46.62±15.66mg/day for women and 46.97±13.39mg/day for men. . Nutritional status
of 44.2% had normal and 40.4% over enough with a mean BMI 21.98±3.48 kg/m2.
94.2% had ART and 63.5% lymphocyte count at category II CDC with mean
245(50–861)cell/?L. 92.3% subyek had low serum vitamin C concentration with
median 0.23(0.10–0.56)mg/dL. 53.8% subject had normal erythrocyte SOD
concentration with mean 1542.10±5.42U/gHb. There was no correlation between
serum vitamin C and erythrocyte SOD. (r=−0.109 and p=0.442)

"Usia lanjut berisiko tinggi mengalami defisiensi vitamin D, sedangkan vitamin D memiliki efek protektif terhadap massa otot. Penurunan massa otot dan fungsinya disebut dengan sarkopenia. Prevalensi sarkopenia sangat tinggi pada usia lanjut yang tinggal di panti wreda, kondisi ini disebabkan gaya hidup sedentari pada penghuni panti wreda. Deteksi dini sarkopenia dapat dilakukan dengan mengukur fungsi otot, salah satunya adalah mengukur performa fisik dengan tes short physical performance battery (SPPB). Penelitian potong lintang ini bertujuan untuk melihat korelasi antara kadar vitamin D serum dengan performa fisik pada usia lanjut di lima panti wreda yang terdaftar di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan cara proportional random sampling, didapatkan 100 usila yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Pemeriksaan kadar vitamin D menggunakan kadar kalsidiol serum dengan metode chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA). Pemeriksaan massa otot menggunakan bioelectric impedance analysis Tanita SC-330. Analisis korelasi menggunakan uji nonparametrik. Didapatkan nilai tengah usia subjek adalah 74,89 tahun dan 72% subjek adalah perempuan. Terdapat  85% subjek memiliki asupan vitamin D yang kurang dan  94% subjek memiliki skor pajanan sinar matahari yang rendah, serta seluruh subjek masih memiliki massa otot yang normal. Nilai tengah kadar vitamin D serum  adalah 15,50(4-32) ng/mL, dengan 72% subjek mengalami defisiensi vitamin D. Nilai tengah performa fisik adalah 9(3-12) dan sebanyak 47% subjek mengalami performa fisik yang buruk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi antara kadar vitamin D serum dengan performa fisik pada usia lanjut di panti wreda (r=0,130; p=0,196).

Elderly individuals have a risk of vitamin D deficiency, whereas vitamin D has a protective effect on muscle mass. Decrease in muscle mass and function is called sarcopenia. The prevalence of sarcopenia is very high in the elderly who live in nursing homes, this condition is due to the sedentary lifestyle. Early detection of sarcopenia can be done by measuring physical performance with short physical performance battery (SPPB) test. This cross-sectional study aimed to explore the correlation between vitamin D serum levels with physical performance among elderly individuals in five nursing homes registered in South Tangerang. A hundred subjects who fulfilled study criteria gathered using proportional random sampling method. Examination of vitamin D levels using calcidiol serum with the chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) method. Muscle mass was measured using bioelectric impedance analysis Tanita type SC-330. Nonparametric correlation was used for correlation analysis. Median age of subjects was 74.89 years old and 72% were female. Eighty-five percent of subjects had low vitamin D intake, 94% of subjects had low sun exposure score, and all subjects had normal muscle mass. Mean level of vitamin D serum was 15.50 (4-32) ng/mL, with 72% of subjects had vitamin D deficiency. Mean score of physical performance was 9(3-12) and 47% of subjects had low physical performance. "Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui korelasi antara asupan vitamin D dengan kadar 25(OH)D serum pada pasien lupus eritematosus sistemik perempuan usia dewasa.
Metode: Peneltian ini merupakan penelitian potong lintang pada 36 pasien SLE perempuan dewasa dari Poliklinik Reumatologi di RS Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo. Pengambilan data subyek meliputi usia, klasifikasi penyakit SLE, obat-obatan yang digunakan, tipe kulit, penggunaan tabir surya, bagian tubuh yang tertutup pakaian, lama terpajan sinar matahari, indeks massa tubuh (IMT), asupan vitamin D, dan kadar 25(OH)D serum.
Hasil: Sebagian besar (41,7%) subyek berusia antara 36–45 tahun, tergolong klasifikasi SLE ringan (52,8%), selalu menggunakan tabir surya (63,9%), tipe kulit IV (69,4%), dan memakai pakaian yang menutupi seluruh/sebagian besar tubuh (69,4%), serta tidak terpajan dan terpajan sinar matahari <30 menit (77,8%). Semua subyek menggunakan kortikosteroid. Separuh subyek memiliki berat badan normal berdasarkan IMT, sebagian besar (55,6%) subyek mempunyai asupan vitamin D cukup berdasarkan AKG 2012, dan 28 subyek (77,8%) menderita defisiensi vitamin D ( kadar 25(OH)D serum <50 nmol/L). Didapatkan korelasi positif yang sedang antara asupan vitamin D dengan kadar 25(OH)D serum pada subyek penelitian (r = 0,52; P <0,01).
Kesimpulan: Terdapat korelasi positif yang sedang antara asupan vitamin D dengan kadar 25(OH)D serum pada pasien SLE perempuan dewasa (r = 0,52; P <0,01).

Objective: the aim of the study is to investigate the correlation between vitamin D intake and serum 25(OH)D concentration of adult woman SLE patients.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in 36 adult woman patients with SLE from Rheumatology Clinic of the Departemen of Internal Medicine Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital. Data collection included age, SLE classification, drugs, skin type, use of sunscreen, part of the body covered by clothes, length of sun exposure, body mass index (BMI), vitamin D intake, and serum 25(OH)D concentration.
Results: Most of the subjects (41.7%) aged 36–45 years old, classified as mild SLE (52.8%), always used sunscreen (63.9%), skin type IV (69.4%), wearing clothes that covered all or almost of the body (69.4%), and not exposed or had sun exposure less than 30 minute (77.8%). All subjects used corticosteroid. Based on BMI half of the subjects had normal body weight, Based on AKG 2012 most (55.6%) had adequate vitamin D intakes, and 28 subjects (77.8%) were in vitamin D-deficient (serum 25(OH)D concentration <50 nmol/L). There were moderate positive correlation between vitamin D intake and serum 25(OH)D concentration in subjects (r = 0.52; P <0.01).
Conclusion: There were moderate positive correlation between vitamin D intake and serum 25(OH)D concentration of adult woman SLE patients (r = 0.52, P <0.01).
