"Kondisi permukaan jalan dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan air. Penelitian ini menggunakan ButonNatural Asphalt (BNA) ditambahkan pada Asphalt Concrete Wearing Coarse (AC-WC) denganjenis aspal pen 60/70. Penambahan BNA 20% dan 30% terhadap aspal optimum ACWC danselanjutnya disebut ACWC Modifikasi. Campuran beton aspal jenis ini selanjutnya dilakukanpengujian dengan uji marshall standar dan marshall immersi. Proses uji sebelumnya adalah ujikarakteristik agregat dan uji karakteristik aspal. Pengujian lainnya untuk mengetahuikarakteristik campuran aspal beton ini adalah uji stabilitas kekuatan sisa dan uji modulusresilient dengan menggunakan Umatta. Pengujian Umatta dilakukan pada temperatur chamber27°C 30°C, 45°C dan 50°C.Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai modulus resilient menurundengan peningkatan temperatur. Berdasarkan uji marshall dengan perendaman diperoleh bahwaIndeks Kekuatan Sisa (IKS) pada campuran beton aspal AC-WC sebesar 65.82 %, campuranbeton aspal AC-WC modifikasi BNA 20% dengan nilai IKS sebesar 78.34% dan AC-WCmodifikasi BNA 30% diperoleh nilai sebesar 94.59%. Penambahan BNA dapat meningkatkanketahanan terhadap air. Tetapi berdasarkan uji perendaman Indirect Tensile Strenght (ITS) diperoleh bahwa campuran beton aspal AC-WC direndam 30 menit menghasilkan IKS sebesar93.72% dan 360 menit diperoleh sebesar 88.57 %. Sedangkan campuran beton aspal AC-WC modifikasi BNA 20% diperoleh nilai sebesar 78.22 % dan 360 menit dengan nilai sebesar 72.33%. Sedangkan untuk campuran beton aspal AC-WC modifikasi BNA 30% diperoleh nilai IKSsebesar 76.84 % dan 360 menit diperoleh nilai sebesar 65.83 %.

The condition of the road surface is affected by temperature and water. This study uses Buton Natural Asphalt (BNA) was added to the Asphalt Concrete Wearing Coarse (AC-WC) with thetype of bitumen pen 60/70. BNA addition of 20% and 30% of the optimum asphalt ACWC and here in after referred ACWC modification. This type of asphalt concrete mixture is then performed testing with marshall standards and marshall immersion. Previous testing process is the aggregate and asphalt test characteristics. Other tests to determine the characteristics of asphalt concrete mixtures are stability residual strength and resilient modulus using Umatta Test.Tests carried out at a temperature Umatta 27°C 30°C, 45°C and 50°C.The results showed that the resilient modulus values decreased with increase in temperature. Based marshall testwith immersion obtained that Remaining Strength Index (RSI) in a mixture of asphalt concreteAC-WC was 65.82%, mix asphalt concrete AC-WC 20% BNA modification of 78.34% and AC-WC 30% BNA modification of 94.59%. The addition of BNA can improve water resistance. Butbased on the immersion of Indirect Tensile Strength test (ITS) found that a mixture of asphaltconcrete ACWC soaked for 30 minutes resulted in RSI 93.72% and 360 minutes was obtainedfor 88.57%. Meanwhile, asphalt concrete mixtures AC-BNA modification WC 20% obtained avalue of 78.22% and 360 minutes with a value of 72.33%. As for the asphalt concrete mixturesAC-WC 30% BNA modification, RSI values obtained at 76.84% and soaked for 360 minutesobtained a value of 65.83%."
