"The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) philosophy comes as a holistic and comprehensive management system to achieve trategy effectively. Its compatibility makes BSC more popular for any organizations today. Researches and theory developments rises in line to response the circumstance changes. The BSCsuccess supports by any several aspects such as culture, human competency and skill, leadership role and managemnet support, and technology itself as intangible assets. These aspects categorized as BSC fundamental perspective, learning and growth. It has proven how these aspects drive a strategic achievement and organization succes. For these reasons, management team must pay more ettention on intangible asseta as key succes fundamental and align this perspective to strategy. This literature research tries to build a synthesis for how intangible assets play a role as the success factors for BSC and overall organization success. The most important paradigm is that intangible assats must align with BSC and organization's dream. Finally, this paper tries to discuss the role of intangible assets from different perspective."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama untuk menganalisis kesesuaian antara strategi yang dijalankan dengan visi dan misi PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama serta membantu untuk merancang strategy map dan balanced scorecard yang sesuai dengan strategi PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan data primer. Penelitian ini membahas rancangan strategy map dan balanced scorecard yang dapat diajukan kepada PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama sebagai pertimbangan dalam penentuan strategi dan alat ukur kinerja. Hasil dari penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa strategi PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama sudah sesuai dengan visi dan misi PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama dan menyarankan bahwa PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama perlu memperbaiki dan mengembangkan sistem manajemen yang ada ke dalam bentuk strategy map dan balanced scorecard.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to help PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama to analyze the organization rsquo s mission, vision, and strategy using Strategy map and Balanced Scorecard as a strategic tool for successful strategy execution. The method used in this research is descriptive method with the primary data. This study is focus on designing a Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard for PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama which can be used as a consideration in determaining the strategy and performance measurement of the organization. The conclusion of the research is that PT. Tongkonan Trans Utama strategy is in line with its mission and vision. This research can be used as a reference for improving and developong strategic management using the Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard concept."

"Pada era globalisasi seperti saat ini, persaingan antar perusahaan di dunia bisnis semakin ketat. Oleh karena itu strategi memainkan peranan dalam memenangkan persaingan itu. Kondisi ini mendorong banyak perusahaan mulai menerapkan Balanced Scorecard sebagai strategic management system.
PT.X sebagai objek penelitian dalam karya akhir ini merupakan salah satu bank terbesar di Indonesia. Proses evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui proses observasi dan wawancara langsung ke PT.X. Tinjauan langsung ke perusahaan ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran langsung mengenai penerapan Balanced Scorecard nya.
Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan penerapan BSC di PT.X sudah baik karena memenuhi kriteria dalam Strategy Focused Organization meskipun masih terdapat kekurangan dalam rancangan BSC nya.

In the globalization era, business competition among company becomes tighter. So that, strategy is play important roles to winning the competition. This condition force many company to start the implementation of Balanced Scorecard as a strategic management system.
PT.X as an object of this research is one of the largest bank in Indonesia. Evaluation process executed by collecting data through direct observation and interview in PT.X. Direct observation is proposed to get an image about the implementation of Balanced Scorecard in PT.X.
The result of this analysis indicate that implementation Balanced Scorecard in PT.X can be categorized as a successful implementation of Balanced Scorecard because it can fulfill the criteria of Strategy Focused Organization. Even though there is a lack of design in its Balanced Scorecard

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif dengan melakukan penyelarasan antara strategi organisasi dan visi, misi dan nilai-nilai yang dimiliki oleh SD Harapan Mulia. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena meningkatnya pertumbuhan organisasi dan persaingan bisnis industri pelayanan pendidikan di Kota Bekasi. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan, mengklasifikasikan dan menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari SD Harapan Mulia dan teori yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian. Proses pengumpulan, pengklasifikasian, dan penganalisisan data dan teori dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung, wawancara, dan pengumpulan data sekunder yang bersifat teoretis yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan sistem manajemen berbasis Balanced Scorecard yang dikembangkan oleh Kaplan dan Norton untuk mengelola strategi organisasi SD Harapan Mulia.

Konsep Balanced Scorecard dimulai dengan melakukan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahuni kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari SD Harapan Mulia. Hasil analisis SWOT tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan dan menyelaraskan sasaran strategi dengan visi dan misi sekolah melalui matriks SWOT. Dengan menggunakan hasil analisis SWOT, matriks SWOT menghasilkan 25 sasaran strategis yang diklasifikasikan menjadi 5 perspektif dan terdiri dari 4 sasaran strategi dari pespektif pelanggan, 1 sasaran strategi dari perspektif keuangan, 1 sasaran strategi dari perspektif penyandang dana, 11 sasaran strategi dari perspektif proses internal bisnis, dan 8 sasaran strategi perspektif pembelajaran serta pertumbuhan. Sasaran strategi yang dihasilkan akan diklasifikasikan dan dihubungkan menggunakan peta strategi (Strategy Map). Sasaran strategi tersebut juga digunakan untuk merumuskan pengukuran dan tindakan-tindakan inisiatif menggunakan Balanced Scorecard.


This research wants to create a competitive advantage with doing some alignment between organization strategy and visions, missions, and values that are had by Harapan Mulia Elementary School. This research are conducted because of increasing in organization growth and business competition on educational service industry at Kotamadya Bekasi. Research method which is used in this research is qualitative research method. Thats method is done by collecting, classifying, and analysing data that are got from Harapan Mulia Elementary School and theory that are related for this research. Process of collection, classification, and analysis data and theory are done by doing direct observation, interview and secondary data collection that are related for this research. Data in this research are analyzed by using management system based on Balanced Scorecard created by Kaplan and Norton. Balanced Scorecard concept start with doing SWOT analysis to know strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that is owned by SD Harapan Mulia. The result of SWOT analysis is used to decide and coordinate strategy objective with their vision mision through matriks SWOT. By using the result of SWOT analysis, matrix SWOT generates 25 objective strategies that are classified to 5 perspective and that are consist of 4 objective strategies in customer perspective, 1 objective strategy in financial perspective, 1 objective strategy in fiduciary perspective, 11 objective strategies in internal process perspective, and 8 objective strategies in learning and growth perspective. Objective strategy that are generated will be classified and connected by using strategy map. Those objective strategies are also used to create a measurement and an initiative action using Balanced Scorecard."

Penggunaan Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) yang efektif dan
intensif yang mempunyai peran dalam standardisasi prosedur medis, dapat
membantu institusi kesehatan seperti Alliance Healthcare Network ( AHN ) dalam

mengurangi kesalahan medis. Tulisan ini mencoba untuk menyusun sebuah
balanced scorecard yang bertujuan untuk memotivasi dokter untuk meningkatkan
penggunaan CPOE dengan menggunakan ukuran kinerja keuangan dan non -
keuangan yang relevan yang dapat mengukur efektivitas penerapan CPOE. Di

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai penerapan sistem balanced scorecard pada Inspektorat Jenderal Kementerian Keuangan (ITJEN). Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis terhadap data primer berupa wawancara dengan beberapa responden dan pengamatan serta data sekunder berupa dokumen/laporan tentang sistem balanced scorecard. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sistem balanced scorecard yang ada perlu dilakukan beberapa perbaikan dalam rangka mengefektifkan fungsi ITJEN. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar perspektif keuangan ditambahkan pada sistem balanced scorecard; semua indikator kinerja utama pada sistem balanced scorecard dimasukkan dalam kontrak kinerja; beberapa sasaran strategis pada sistem balanced scorecard dilakukan penyesuaian; dan sistem balanced scorecard dikomunikasikan secara efektif kepada pegawai.

The objective of this research is to evaluate the balanced scorecard's implementation at ITJEN. This research is using an analysis on a primary data by an interview and observation and a secondary data by a document about balanced scorecard. This research found that the current system should be developed in order to make the function of ITJEN more effective. This research suggests that financial perspective is added to balanced scorecard, all key performance indicators on balanced scorecard are included on performance contract, some strategic objective on balanced scorecard is adjusted and balanced scorecard should be communicated to all employees effectively."

"Perusahaan multinasional (MNE) menjalankan perusahaan lebih kompleks dibandingkan perusahaan domestik, maka penting penerapan strategi yang dapat mengefisienkan kegiatan perusahaan sehingga dapat membentuk keunggulan bersaing yang berkelanjutan. Supply chain orientation (SCO) merupakan startegi yang dibangun dari pengelolaan aset tangible dan intangible perusahaan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti variabel yang membangun konsep model SCO dan bagaimana hasil penerapan kinerja SCO. Enam variabel yang membangun konsep SCO adalah customer orientation, competitor orientation, supplier orientation, value chain coordination, logistic orientation, dan operations orientation. Selanjutnya penerapan SCO dievaluasi berdasarkan perspektif balanced scorecard, yang terdiri dari perspektif customer performance, financial performance, internal process performance, innovation &learning performance.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, peneliti menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan teknik purposive, yaitu para manajer di gerai-gerai perusahaan XYZ, salah satu MNE di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang restoran cepat saji yang merupakan perusahaan terbesar di dunia.
Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa konsep model SCO dibangun atas lima konstruk, yaitu customer orientation, supplier orientation, value chain coordination, logistic orientation, dan operations orientation. Nilai paling signifikan adalah customer orientation dan supplier orientation. sedangkan dari sisi hasil kinerja balanced scorecard terbukti dipengaruhi oleh SCO, variabel financial performance dan innovation &learning performance yang paling signifikan dipengaruhi oleh SCO.

Multinational Enterprise (MNE) has more complicated operational activities compare to domestic enterprise, therefore MNE is advised to be more efficient in order to create competitive advantage sustainably. Supply chain orientation (SCO) is one of the method which is built based on companys tangible and intangible assets to achieve that goal.
The research will discover any variables that formed SCO model and how it is implemented. Six variables that formed SCO model are customer orientation, competitor orientation, supplier orientation, value chain coordination, logistic orientation and operations orientation. Furthermore, its implementations will be evaluated in several perspective based on balance scorecard which consists of customer performance, financial performance, internal process performance, innovation and learning performance.
Qualitative methods and non-probability sampling are used as its purpose to get most suitable sample. The sample or respondents are in managerial level at XYZ companys outlets which is known as the largest fast-food restaurant chains in the world.
The results of this study has proven that the concept of the SCO model is formed by five variables which is called as customer orientation and supplier orientation as the most significant variables and along with value chain coordination, logistical orientation, and operations orientation. Meanwhile, balance scorecard performance is proven to be influence by SCO especially on financial performance and innovation & learning performance that become most significant among others.
