"Tesis ini membahas mengenai pengembangan kepemimpinan bagi manajer lini pertama di PT Aero Wisata sesuai dengan konteks dan kondisi yang terjadi di perusahaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deksriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat kesenjangan (gap) antara karakteristik manajer lini pertama yang ideal untuk masuk ke jenjang berikutnya dengan kondisi yang ada pada saat ini. selanjutnya penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa Leadership Pipeline yang digunakan sebagai kerangka pemikiran acuan diperusahaan belum dapat sepenuhnya membantu perusahaan dalam mengatasi kesenjangan yang ada. Diperlukan dukungan, peran, tanggungjawab dan komitmen dari perusahaan baik manajemen puncak, atasan langsung para manajer lini pertama dan divisi sumber daya dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan para manajer lini pertama.

This thesis explores a leadership development for first line manager at PT Aero Wisata based on its current context and condition. The type of this research is a qualitative research with descriptive design. The result of this research shows that there is still a gap between an ideal first line manager characteristic which fits to the next level according to the company’s current condition. This research also shows that Leadership Pipeline as a basis of framework reference in the company can not assist the company to overcome the gap. Development will need a support, role, responsibility and commitment from the top management, direct line managers and human resource division in order to develop leadership for first line managers."

"Doxorubicin dan docetaxel masing-masing dikenal sebagai obat sitotoksik yang aktif untuk pengobatan kanker payudara metastatik (KPM). Kombinasi keduanya juga telah memperlihatkan derajat aktivitas yang tinggi sebagai kemoterapi lini kedua untuk KPM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keampuhan dan keamanan kombinasi docetaxel-doxorubisin sebagai kemoterapi lini pertama untuk penderita KPM di Indonesia. Sebanyak 26 pasien wanita berusia 31-65 tahun dengan KPM diikutsertakan dalam studi. Pasien belum pernah mendapat taxane atau doxorubicin kumulatif sebesar 250 mg/m2 serta tidak menderita penyakit jantung. Terapi terdiri dari doxoubicin 50 mg/m2 sebagai bolus intravena (IV) diikuti satu jam kemudian oleh docetaxel 60 mg/m2 dengan infus IV selama 1 jam, setiap 3 minggu untuk 6 siklus. Premedikasi dengan kortikosteroid oral diberikan sehari sebelum kemoterapi sampai hari kedua setiap siklus. Fraksi ejeksi ventrikel kiri direkam di awal studi dan setelah siklus ke-6. Di akhir studi, secara total telah diberikan 156 siklus kemoterapi. Lima dan 11 orang pasien mengalami respons komplit (RK) dan parsial (RP), berturut-turut, yang menjadikan respons keseluruhan terbaik sebesar 61,54%. Tiga orang pasien dengan metastatis hepar luas tampak hilang sama sekali setelah 6 siklus. Toksisitas derajat 3-4 tersering adalah leukopenia (80,77%) dan febrile neutropenia (5,77%). Leukopenia biasanya singkat, dan terutama terjadi pada siklus pertama dan kedua serta tidak membutuhkan penurunan dosis. Tidak ada pasien yang mengalami gagal jantung. Terdapat satu kematian akibat penyakit yang progresif setelah 6 siklus. Kombinasi doxorubicin 50 mg/m2 dan docetaxel 60 mg/m2 tampak aktif sebagai kemoterapi lini pertama pada KPM, khususnya pada pasien dengan metastatis hepar, dengan profil toksisitas yang dapat ditatalaksana. Doxorubicin and docetaxel as a single agent are known as active cytotoxic agents for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Their combination has also shown to be highly active as a second-line chemotherapy of MBC. This study was design to evaluate the efficacy and safety of docetaxel-doxorubicin combination as first line chemotherapy of MBC patients in Indonesia. Twenty-six female patients between 31-65 years old with advanced or MBC was enrolled. No prior taxane or cumulative doxorubicin of 250 mg/m2 was allowed and patients should not have a heart disease. Treatment consisted of doxorubicin 50 mg/m2 as intravenous (IV) bolus followed one hour later by docetaxel 60 mg/m2 by IV infusion over 1 hour every 3 weeks for 6 cycles. Premedication with oral corticosteroid was administered a day prior to chemotherapy until the second day of each cycle. Left ventricular ejection fraction was recorded at baseline and after the 6th cycle. At the end of study, a total of 156 cycles of chemotherapy have been delivered. Five and 11 patients had a complete response (CR) and partial response (PR), respectively, which accounted for a 61.54% best overall response. Three patients with extensive liver metastases showed complete disappearance after 6 cycles. Most frequent grade 3-4 toxicities were leukopenia (80.77%) and febrile neutropenia (5.77%). Leukopenia was usually short in duration, occurred mainly during the first and second cycle and did not require dose reduction. No patient developed heart failure. There was one death due to progressive disease after 6 cycles. Combination of doxorubicin 50 mg/m2 and docetaxel 60 mg/m2 was sufficiently active as first-line chemotherapy of MBC, especially in patients with liver metastases, with a manageable toxicity profile. "This is the first report of HIV drug resistance in RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo. We tested We reviewed eleven new cases of HIV patients who had virologic failure after 6 months first-line antiretroviral therapy. With the sequencing method, analysis of gene mutations encoded HIV drug resistance. Genotypic resistance results and HIV-1 subtype were interpreted by Stanford DR database. Of ten plasma samples that were successfully amplified and sequenced, all samples were resistant to at least one antiretroviral drug. Genotypic resistance towards the antiretroviral drugs being used was observed in lamivudine (90%), tenofovir (83%), nevirapine (100%) dan efavirenz (100%). It is interesting that no zidovudine resistance were found, including in four patients receiving zidovudine in their HAART. The common NRTI mutations were M184VI and K65R, while NNRTI mutations were Y181CFGVY, K103N, A98AG, E138GQ and G190AGS. No mayor PI mutations were found. Based on these findings, we supports the need for appropriate virology monitoring and HIV drug resistance survey in clinical practice and access to drug options in case of virology failure."

"Kinerja sistem manajemen K3 yang unggul juga hielibatkan perhatian pada faktor prang, faktor organisasi dan faktor behaviour Pendekatan integrasi K3 pada system manajemen perusahaan memasukan aspek manajemen SDM dalam penerapannya. Dengan demikian manajemen SDM menjadi bagian dari upaya manajemen K3 di perusahaan dalam rangka mencapai sasaran K3 secara umum. Program HRD dalam kompetensi SDM khususnya safety officer di proyek juga merupakan program pengendalian resiko K3 secara administratif dalam upaya menurunkan dan mencegah terjadinya kecelakaanlinsiden ditempat kerja, balk terhadap K3 maupun lingkungan.
Salah satu program pengendalian administratif pada kompetensi SDM adalah evaluasi jobdescription dan atau persyaratan lain yang terkait dengan tugas dan fungsi safety officer diproyek. Jobdescriplion merupakan cetak biru (blue print) dari harapan kinerja pada pemegang jabatan untuk acuan pelaksanaan kerja. Diharapkan tanggungjawab dan kewenangan yang diberikan tertulis dan dimengerti pemegang jabatan untuk melakukan tugas-tugasnya dan menghasilkan output yang diharapkan. Akan tetapi pada prakteknya di lapangan, jobdescription tersebut masih perlu diintreprctasikan ulang dan kebenarannya sangat tergantung pada pemaharnan dan kepentingan pengguna jobdescription tersebut. Unit-unit kerja menterjemahkan kembali dengan jobdescription masing-masing dan tidak standar. Perbedaan intrepretasi dapat membuat ketidakharmonisan sistem kerja yang pada akhirnya dapat membuat gangungan-gangguan dalarn proses manajemen perusahaan.
Tesis ini mengevaluasi uraian tugas safety officer korporat (2000) yang masih berlaku di PT XYZ saat penelitian ini dilakukan. Alat evaluasinya adalah kerangka kompetensi kerja yang diharapkan dari petugas K3 di proyek setingkat dengan first-line supervisor. Hal ini dilakukan karena belum ada evaluasi jobdescription dan analisa kompetensi kerja pads safety officer di PT XYZ.
Aspek yang dikaji adalah fungsi atau peran penting first-line supervisor K3 dan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan untuk dapat berperan dalam mencegah,menangani dan mengurangi terjadinya keceiakaan/insiden. Kajian ini menghasilkan kerangka kompetensi tugas safety officer berbasis kinerja aktual yang diharapkan. Dibahas jugs aspek-aspek persyaratan jabatan (job spesification) seperti pendidikan, pelatihan untuk safety officer sebagai bentuk input SDM dan pertimbangan dalam menentukan tugas first-line supervisor K3. Kerangka ini yang menjadi acuan untuk melakukan evaluasi jobdescription safety officer.

Integrated Occupational Safety & Health (USH) approach in company's management system includes Human Resource (HR) management aspects in implementation. Good performance of OSH management system also involves great attention to the human factor, organizational factor and behavioral factor. Therefore HR Management has become part of efforts conducted by OSH management in order to achieve OSH objectives. HR Department program which deal with HR Competency, especially for Project Safety Officer , is part of OSH administrative control program to reduce and prevent workplace incident/accident that lead to loss regarding to either OSH related or environmental related issues.
One methodology of administrative control program within HR competency is define a clear role and responsibility of a function or a job within work-system. Therefore there is a evaluation program to assess job description of Safety Officer in order to meet required work competency. Job description is a blue-print of expected job performance of the officer in order to do their duties. Management expects that by handing over written authority and responsibility. the officer will understand and running their duties accordingly to achieve desirable output. However in reality, the job description is required to be re-interpreted by the users, that leads to misunderstanding. individualize, non-standard job description. The difference in interpretation can lead to work system disharmony and creates disturbances in management practices. including employee satisfaction.
This thesis evaluates Corporate Safety Officer Job description (2000) at PT XYZ, against the work competency framework of a first-line supervisor level OSH officer. This is done due to no job description evaluation and work competency analysis has ever been conducted for safety officer at PT XYZ.
Aspect that is being analyzed mainly is the function and main role of first-line OSH supervisor, and competency required to be able to run the role in preventing, handling and reducing incident/accidents. This analysis will result in a performance based competency framework of the safety officer. Also being discussed in the thesis is the job specification aspects, such as education and training for safety officer, as an input and consideration to determining first-line OSH supervisor job. This framework will be a guideline to conduct an evaluation of safety officer job description.

"ABSTRACT
Skripsi ini membahas standar operasional prosedur divisi finance collection di perusahaan asuransi jiwa dan praktik atas standar operasional prosedur yang telah ditetapkan oleh Perusahaan Asuransi XYZ untuk menekan risiko terjadinya kecurangan atau kesalahan atas pencatatan premi yang diterima perusahaan. Dari analisis penelitian studi kasus, diperoleh masih ada celah atas standar operasional prosedur untuk terjadinya kecurangan maupun kesalahan pada proses penagihan premi, penerimaan premi, dan rekonsiliasi serta pencatatan premi. Selain dari analisis celah standar operasional prosedur, peran dari manajer sebagai pertahanan lini pertama juga kurang efektif dalam memitigasi risiko. Hal ini dikarenakan dari proses penerimaan premi masih manual sehingga manajer masih fokus dengan kegiatan pengendalian yang sifatnya manual.

ABSTRACT
The focus on this study is the operational standards procedure of finance collection division in life insurance companies and the practice of standard operating procedures established by Perusahaan Asuransi XYZ to reduce the risk of fraud or errors in recording premiums received by the company. From the analysis of case study, it was found that there were still gaps in the standard operating procedures for fraud and errors in the premium collection process, receipt of premiums, and reconciliation and recording of premiums. Apart from standard operational gap analysis procedures, the role of managers as first-line defenses is also less effective in mitigating risk. This happened because process of premi receipt still done manually so managers are still focused on manual control activities."
