"Pandemi covid-19 tidak hanya berdampak pada kesehatan manusia tetapi juga ekonomi yang disebabkan oleh penerapan pembatasan sosial dan karantina wilayah oleh banyak negara di dunia. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada bagaimana pandemi berdampak kepada perempuan bekerja yang telah menikah dan memiliki anak terhadap persepsi mereka aspirasi karir, beban pekerjaaan, dan pembagian tugas dengan suami. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Terdapat tambahan beban pekerjaan yang harus ditanggung oleh ibu pekerja di masa pandemi, yang mana tambahan beban tersebut disebabkan oleh kewajiban untuk menemani dan membantu anak yang bersekolah dari rumah. Bantuan yang diberikan oleh suami untuk mengurus rumah tangga dan mengasuh anak tidak lebih baik jika dibandingkan bantuan yang diberikan oleh keluarga atau pengasuh anak/asisten rumah tangga. Mayoritas responden menyatakan tidak mempertimbangakan untuk menahan laju karir (downshifting) dengan cara mengurangi jam dan beban kerja dimana kelompok responden yang sudah bercerai, tidak mendapatkan bantuan dari keluarga, dan tidak dibantu oleh pengasuh anak/asisten rumah tangga memiliki kecenderungan dengan poin lebih tinggi. Besarnya pendapatan responden juga memengaruhi persepsi untuk menahan laju karir (downshifting). Dalam hal mempertimbangakan untuk berhenti bekerja, ketidaksetujuan yang lebih tinggi ditunjukkan oleh kelompok-kelompok ibu pekerja yang sudah bercerai. Besarnya pendapatan responden juga memengaruhi persepsi untuk berhenti bekerja.
Pandemic had impacted human health and the economy caused by many countries' implementation of social restrictions and regional quarantines. This study focuses on how the pandemic affects working women who are married and have children on their perceptions of career aspirations, workload, and the division of tasks with their husbands. In this study, the authors conclude that there is an additional workload that working mothers must bear during the pandemic, which is an additional burden caused by the obligation to accompany and help children for school from home. The assistance provided by the husband to take care of the household and the children are worse than the assistance provided by the family or the babysitter/household assistant. The majority of respondents stated that they did not consider downshifting by reducing their hours and workload, where the group of respondents who were divorced, did not get help from their families, and were not assisted by a babysitter/household assistant tended to have higher points. Respondent's income also affects the perception of downshifting. In terms of considering quitting work, higher disapproval shows by the groups of divorced working mothers. The size of the respondent's income also affects the perception of quitting work. "

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan adaptasi karir dan kinerja berdasarkan peran. Dalam penelitian ini pengukuran tingkat kecerdasan emosional dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Schutte (2009) yang berjudul The Assessing Emotions Scale. Sementara pengukuran kemampuan adaptasi karir dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur yang bernama Career Adapt-Abilities Scale, yang dikembangkan oleh Savickas & Porfeli (2012). Kinerja diukur menggunakan alat ukur yang bernama Role Based Performance Scale (RBPS), yang dikembangkan oleh Welbourne, Erez, & Johnson (1998). Analisis atas penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM), terhadap data yang berasal dari 407 responden. Respoden terdiri dari karyawan yang telah bekerja dalam rentang waktu minimal 1 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh positif dengan kemampuan adaptasi karir dan kinerja berdasarkan peran.
This study aimed to examine the effect of a positive relationship between emotional intelligence towards career adaptability and performance. In this study the measurement of emotional intelligence levels using the measurement tools developed by Schutte, NS, Malouff, JM, & Bhullar, N. (2009) entitled The Assessing Emotions Scale. Career adaptability measurement using a measuring tool called the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale developed by Savickas, ML, & Porfeli, EJ (2012). Performance was measured using a measuring tool called Role-Based Performance Scale (RBPS) developed by Theresa Welbourne, Amir Erez, Dianne Johnson (1998). Analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with Lisrel method to data derived from the 407 respondents, workers who have worked in a span of at least 1 year. The results of this study found that career adaptability has a positive influence with career adaptability and role based performance."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis penurunan penghasilan pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia di masa pandemi Covid-19 dengan menggunakan data Sakernas Agustus 2021 dan metode deskriptif dan inferensial Regresi Logistik Multinomial. Penulis mengidentifikasi penurunan penghasilan sebagai salah satu bentuk efek luka atau scarring effect yang dialami para pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi saat pandemi Covid-19 berdasarkan lapangan usaha. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa scarring effect berupa penurunan penghasilan lebih banyak dialami para pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di lapangan usaha jasa dan industri. Dilihat dari jenis pekerjaannya, penurunan penghasilan tersebut banyak dialami pekerja kerah biru dan pekerja kerah abu-abu. Scarring effect berupa penurunan penghasilan tidak terlalu dialami pekerja kerah putih, yang merupakan mayoritas di kalangan pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi. Setelah dikontrol dengan karakteristik individu, variabel lapangan usaha memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam penurunan penghasilan pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi. Pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di lapangan usaha industri mengalami scarring effect terbesar, disusul oleh pekerja di lapangan usaha jasa dan terendah di sektor pertanian. Dari hasil regresi, pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di lapangan usaha industri cenderung mengalami penurunan penghasilan 2,468 kali lebih besar dari yang bekerja di sektor pertanian dan dibandingkan dari yang penghasilannya tetap. Adapun pekerja lulusan pendidikan tinggi di lapangan usaha jasa cenderung mengalami penurunan penghasilan 1,454 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan yang bekerja di sektor pertanian dan dibandingkan dengan yang penghasilannya tetap.
This research aims to analyze the decline in income among employees with tertiary education graduates in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic, using data from Sakernas (National Labor Force Survey), August 2021, descriptive and inferential Multinomial Logistic Regression methods. The author identifies the decline in income as a form of scarring effect experienced by employess with tertiary-education graduates during the Covid-19 pandemic, based on field of industry as main independent variable. The research concludes that the scarring effect, in the form of income reduction, is more pronounced among tertiary-education graduates worker in the service and industrial sectors. In terms of job type, the income decline is more pronounced among blue-collar and gray-collar workers. In contrast, white-collar workers, who constitute the majority of high-education graduates worker, experienced relatively less scarry in terms of income decline. After controlling the dependent and independent variable with individual characteristics, the research found that industrial sector variable significantly influences the income decline among educated workers. University-educated workers in the industrial sector experienced the greatest scarring effect, followed by those in the service sector, and the lowest in agricultural sector. As the regression results, university-educated workers in the industrial sector are likely to experience a 2.468 times greater of income decline compared to those working in the agricultural sector and compared to those with stable incomes. Meanwhile, educated workers in service sector are likely to experience a 1.454 times greater of income decline compared to those working in agricultural sector and compared to those with stable incomes."

"Studi yang mempelajari karakteristik unik dari generasi milenial hingga saat ini masih relevan, kontekstual, dan menarik untuk dilakukan. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin besarnya jumlah generasi milenial yang mulai menempati posisi strategis pada berbagai perusahaan di pasar global. Penelitian empiris ini berfokus dalam pengaruh dari tingkat kepuasan terhadap gaji kepada kepuasan karir dengan menggunakan eksplorasi work-family enrichment (WFE) dan komitmen karyawan sebagai variabel mediasi pada generasi milenial di Indonesia. Survei daring dilakukan di dalam rentang waktu 1 bulan, sehingga menghasilkan respon yang berasal dari 238 partisipan. Data yang diperoleh diharapkan memperoleh informasi tentang latar belakang sosial ekonomi, lama bekerja, hingga persepsi atas kepuasan gaji serta kepuasan karir tiap individu. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SEM-AMOS, dan dihasilkan temuan bahwa tingkat kepuasan terhadap gaji secara signifikan mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan terhadap karir, melalui peran mediasi dari work-family enrichment dan komitmen karyawan generasi milenial terhadap organisasinya. Diskusi, implikasi manajerial, dan saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya diberikan pada akhir laporan akhir ini.
The study of millennial generations is still relevant, contextual, and interesting to do. This is motivated by the increasing number of millenials that occupied on a strategic position in various companies in the global market. This empirical research determines to see the effect of salary satisfaction on career satisfaction with work-family enrichment (WFE) and employee commitment as a mediating variables for millennial generation in Indonesia. The survey was carried out within a period of 1 month, resulting in responses from 238 respondents. The data obtained are expected to give information about socioeconomic background, length of work, and the perception of salary satisfaction and career satisfaction of each individual. The data were processed with the SEM-AMOS software and finding results indicate that there is a significant role of work-family enrichment and employee commitment as a mediator on the relationship between salary satisfaction and career satisfaction. Discussions, managerial implications, and suggestions for further research are given at the end of this final report."

"In the field of labor administration in Japan there is growing interest in the introduction of “restricted regular employment.” This paper investigates two types of restricted regular employment: regular employment with restrictions on type of work (“work-type-restricted regular employment”) and regular employment with restrictions on work location (“work-location-restricted regular employment”). It provides analysis of quantitative and qualitative data that sheds light on the extent to which such employees are currently utilized, what kinds of places of business utilize them, and the attributes, aspects of employment, and personnel management challenges of each type.
Work-type-restricted regular employees face difficulties developing their career to managerial level, due to the fact that they are assigned different work duties and receive different training to regular employees without restrictions on their work type. They also consequently tend to remain in a job for shorter periods than regular employees without restrictions on their work type. Work-location-restricted regular employees tend to have lower wage levels than regular employees without restrictions on their work location. As work-location-restricted regular employees may engage in the same work duties as regular employees without restrictions on their work location, they are prone to be dissatisfied with their wages. In order to allow for more widespread use of work-type-restricted regular employment, it is necessary to establish external labor markets—namely, to develop environments in which such employees can change jobs without disadvantage—and in order to allow for more widespread use of work-location-restricted regular employment it is necessary to establish systems within companies by which employees from various employment categories are able to voice their opinions on wage levels."

"Seiring kemajuan peradaban dan zaman, perempuan semakin progresif untuk menembus dan tetap berada dalam dunia pekerjaan (profesional). Telah banyak penelitian yang mengeksplorasi tantangan kerja dan hambatan karir yang dihadapi oleh perempuan di seluruh dunia, namun penelitian dengan konteks serupa belum banyak dilakukan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman perempuan karier Indonesia melalui wawancara semi-struktural dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif Fenomenologi-Deskriptif. Subjek berjumlah dua belas orang yang terdiri dari perempuan-perempuan yang menduduki level manajerial menengah hingga atas yang bekerja di sektor publik dan Badan Usaha Milik Negara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan sistem reduksi data lewat coding, serta interpretasi dari peneliti. Hasil penelitian yang menjawab permasalahan pertama yakni tantangan dan hambatan kemajuan karir pada perempuan Indonesia. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan adanya bukti tentang tantangan dan hambatan terkait keluarga, sosio-kultural, dan organisasi terhadap kemajuan karier perempuan. Hasil penemuan kedua berfokus pada dampak dari tantangan dan hambatan tersebut terhadap kemajuan karir perempuan Indonesia. Hasil temuan penelitian ketiga yakni terkait solusi yang dilakukan perempuan terkait masalah tantangan dan hambatan kemajuan karir. Solusi tersebut ditinjau dari sudut pandang individu, organisasi dan pemerintah sebagai pembuat kebijakan.
Our world is fast-paced and rapidly changing. Women are increasingly progressive to penetrate and remain in the professional ecosystem. There have been many studies exploring work challenges and career barriers faced by women around the world, but research in similar contexts has not been done in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the experiences of Indonesian career women through semi-structured interviews using a phenomenological-descriptive qualitative approach. The subject of this research comprises twelve women who occupy the middle to upper managerial level in the public sector and State-Owned Enterprises. Data coding, triangulations, and data saturation are three main components of analyzing and processing information acquired from data gathering. The research results that answer the first problem are the challenges and obstacles to career advancement in Indonesian women. Research findings reveal challenges and obstacles related to family, socio-cultural, and organizational advancement towards the advancement of women's careers. The second finding focuses on the impact of these challenges and obstacles on the advancement of Indonesian women's careers. The findings of the third research is related to solutions made by women related to the challenges and obstacles to career advancement. The solution is viewed from the perspective of individuals, organizations, and government as policymakers."

"Mahasiswa tingkat akhir sedang menghadapi tantangan dalam transisi dari pendidikan tinggi ke dunia kerja yang dapat memengaruhi optimisme karier mereka. Sebagai bagian dari Gen Z, partisipasi mereka dalam Extracurricular Activities (ECA) dan program magang, merupakan bagian dari pengalaman kerja sekaligus membantu mereka mengembangkan orientasi dan harapan karier yang berfokus pada nilai-nilai pribadi mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran mediasi adaptabilitas karier dalam hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 144 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang mengikuti ECA dan program magang. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adaptabilitas karier memediasi penuh hubungan antara orientasi karier protean dan optimisme karier. Semakin tinggi orientasi karier yang dimiliki mahasiswa, semakin tinggi adaptabilitas dan berimbas pula pada optimisme karier mereka. Penelitian ini memiliki saran agar universitas dan penyelenggara ECA serta magang lebih mendorong partisipasi mahasiswa.
Final-year students are facing challenges in transitioning from higher education to the workforce, which can affect their career optimism. As part of Gen Z, participation in work experiences such as Extracurricular Activities (ECA) and internship programs can help them develop career orientations and expectations focused on personal values. This study aims to examine the mediating role of career adaptability in the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The participants of this study consist of 144 final-year students who are engaged in ECA and internship programs. The analysis shows that career adaptability fully mediates the relationship between protean career orientation and career optimism. The higher the career orientation of the students, the higher their career adaptability and optimism. The study faced challenges in achieving the reliability standards for the career optimism measurement tool. It is recommended that universities and ECA and internship program organizers further encourage student participation."
