"Despite the extensive developments in entrepreneurship theory over recent decades, there is a lack of empirical studies examining the influence of owner situationally specific motivation on firm performance focusing on small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in New Zealand. The present study attempts to bridge this gap. At the same time, it responds to calls to extend performance measures to include non-financial outcomes by using organisational citizenship behaviours – OCB – as a performance measure. This is based on the observation that OCBs are consistently presented in the literature as a cornerstone of good performance and competitive advantage. The study uses mixed methods, combining surveys and semi-structured interviews. Multiple regression is used to analyse data on entrepreneurial situationally specific motivation (i.e. communicated vision, self-efficacy, and goals) provided by a sample of 107 firms. In addition, 107 pairs, each comprising an owner-manager plus a random employee from the same firm, also supplied data on organisational citizenship behaviours. Finally, nine qualitative interviews were conducted with owners to further enhance understanding. The study highlights the statistical significance of the positive relationship of entrepreneurial situationally specific motivation and OCB. This finding suggests that owners who have confidence in their abilities [self-efficacy] and who have communicated their vision [communicated vision] are more likely to encourage in their employees the behaviours that are required in order to function well in their organisations. The implications of this finding for potential future research are discussed.

"This research studied the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial intention of University Students. Following original research by Zhang, Duysters, Cloodt (2014), Ajzen's theory of planned behavior and Shapero's entrepreneurial event model would be incorporated to identify the effect of exogenous variables such as entrepreneurship education, prior entrepreneurial exposure, perceived desirability and feasibility towards entrepreneurial intention in university students. Furthermore, this study aimed to investigate the selection hypothesis of entrepreneurship education for entrepreneurial intentions. Lastly, this study was also proposing to investigate the moderating effect of the teachers and instructors' enthusiasm (Frenzel et al., 2009), pre-educational entrepreneurship intention (Bae et al., 2014), gender (Verheul et al., 2012), as well as the moderating effect of peers in the classroom (Falck et al., 2012). The data would be collected from one of the private and reputable universities in Indonesia in multiple departments with a form of entrepreneurship education. In this study we found that entrepreneurship education does shape entrepreneurial intention. Students with pre-educational entrepreneurial intention would be more likely to have higher entrepreneurial intention. We also learned that there’s a strong relationship between social influence of classmates and entrepreneurial intention. In addition, we found that male and female students have a different perspective about entrepreneurship education that affected their entrepreneurial intention.

"Penulis akan membahas analisis Data Exchange Network Ltd, sebuah perusahaan pusat data Australia yang sudah terdaftar di Pasar Modal Australia. Penulis akan menilai perusahaan berdasarkan beberapa asumsi dengan menggunakan dua jenis metode penilaian yang berbeda, yaitu Comparable Companies Analysis dan  Discounted cashflow, dengan Adjusted Present Value Method. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh orientasi kepada pelanggan dan orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap persepsi mengenai efisiensi dan efektivitas ritel kecil. Data untuk penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung pada 130 pemilik ritel kecil dan diolah menggunakan program SPSS 22 dan LISREL 8.51. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Depok, Jawa Barat. Setelah penelitian dilakukan selama bulan April hingga Juni 2015 didapati penerapan strategi orientasi pelanggan pada ritel kecil berpengaruh secara positif terhadap kinerja bisnis. Lain halnya dengan orientasi kewirausahaan yang tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap kinerja bisnis melainkan harus mempengaruhi orientasi pelanggan terlebih dahulu. Dimana orientasi kewirausahaan juga mempengaruhi terjadinya orientasi pelanggan. Kinerja bisnis yang dimaksudkan pada penelitian ini yakni efisiensi dan efektivitas.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of orientation to customer and entrepreneurial orientation towards effectiveness and efficiency perceptions of small retail. Data for this research using quantitative methods for distributing questionnaires directly to the 130 owners of small retail and processed using SPSS 22 and LISREL 8.51. This research was conducted in Depok City, West Java. After the study was conducted during the months of April to June 2015 found the application of the strategy of customer orientation on small retail impact positively on the performance of the business. As with the entrepreneurial orientation that does not directly affect business performance, but should affect customer orientation first. The entrepreneurial orientation also affect the occurrence of customer orientation. Business performance intended in this research are effectiveness and efficiency.

"Entrepreneurial education sangat diperlukan dalam upaya meningkatkan entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh entrepreneurial education terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melakukan survei terhadap 300 mahasiswa di Universitas Indonesia. Data diolah dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) menggunakan tools SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurial education berpengaruh positif terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi self-efficacy. Selain itu, self- efficacy juga diketahui memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap entrepreneurial mindset mahasiswa.

Entrepreneurial education plays a crucial role in fostering entrepreneurial mindset among students. This study aims to examine the impact of entrepreneurial education on students' entrepreneurial mindset, with self-efficacy serving as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative approach, the research surveyed 300 students at University of Indonesia and applied Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4 software for data analysis. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial education positively influences students' entrepreneurial mindset, both directly and indirectly through the mediation of self-efficacy. Furthermore, self-efficacy is identified as exerting a positive influence on students' entrepreneurial mindset."

"Entrepreneur dengan passion dianggap lebih sukses dibandingkan yang tidak memilikinya (Baum & Locke, 2004; Cardon, Zietsma, Saparito, Matherne, & Davis, 2005; Moses, 2001). Dengan adanya passion dapat memberikan individu rasa senang dan kesanggupan untuk melakukan sesuatu yang mereka sukai secara sepenuh hati. Dengan adanya entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneur dapat menghadapi kesulitan-kesulitan yang mereka temukan selama menjalani bisnis (Bird, 1969). Dengan entrepreneurial passion tersebut dapat mengantarkan mereka untuk bisa mempertahankan bisnisnya dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh dari entrepreneurial passion terhadap entrepreneurial behavior. Entrepreneurial passion (EP) akan diukur melalui dimensi EP for inventing, EP for founding, dan EP for developing. Lalu, entrepreneurial behavior akan diukur menggunakan dimensi business planning, financing the new firm, dan interaction with the external environment. Total responden valid yang didapatkan berjumlah 107 responden dengan kriteria mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia berstatus aktif dan sedang memiliki bisnis saat data penelitian ini diambil. Hasil analisis terhadap data yang didapatkan dari responden tersebut menunjukkan bahwa entrepreneurial passion berpengaruh secara positif yang signifikan terhadap entrepreneurial behavior.

Entrepreneurs with passion are considered more successful than those without it (Baum & Locke, 2004; Cardon, Zietsma, Saparito, Matherne, & Davis, 2005; Moses, 2001). Having passion can give individuals a sense of joy and the ability to do something they like wholeheartedly. With entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurs can face the difficulties they encounter while running a business (Bird, 1969). This entrepreneurial passion can lead them to be able to maintain their business in the long term. This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial behavior. Entrepreneurial passion (EP) will be measured through the dimensions EP for inventing, EP for founding, and EP for developing. Then, entrepreneurial behavior will be measured using the dimensions of business planning, financing the new firm, and interaction with the external environment. The total number of valid respondents obtained was 107 respondents with the criteria being that students at the University of Indonesia had active status and were owning a business when the data for this research was taken. The results of the analysis of the data obtained from these respondents show that entrepreneurial passion has a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial behavior."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai knowledge inertia dan persepsi terhadap lingkungan yang mempengaruhi perilaku kewirausahaan dalam menciptakan suatu sikap adaptabilitas stratejik. Perilaku kewirausahaan memiliki urgensi untuk dimiliki saat ini untuk mampu mengidentifikasi dan mengeksploitasi peluang sebagai bentuk respon terhadap perubahan lingkungan dan menjadi adaptif lebih cepat dari pesaing. Efektifitas implementasinya dipengaruhi oleh persepsi individu terhadap lingkungan yang dihadapinya dan knowledge inertia yang ada. Knowledge inertia adalah konsep baru yang masih memiliki banyak ruang untuk penelitian lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan obyek penelitian para pekerja tingkat manajemen pertama dan menengah di suatu BUMN yang sedang mengalami perubahan lingkungan secara signifikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa knowledge inertia memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku kewirausahaan dan setiap dimensi lingkungan memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda pada pembentukan knowledge inersia dan perilaku kewirausahaan. Selain itu, terbukti bahwa perilaku kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh positif pada sikap adaptabilitas stratejik.

The focus of this study is to analyze knowledge inertia and the environment perception which influenced the entrepreneurial behavior in developing strategic adaptability behavior. Entrepreneurial behavior has been considered to be an urgent concept to be implemented nowadays, since it enable the ability to identify and exploits new opportunities as a response to environment changes and means to be adaptive much faster than competitor. The effectiveness of the entrepreneurial behavior is affected by individual?s perception of the environment and the existed knowledge inertia. Knowledge Inertia is considered as a new concept with a lot of areas to be investigated. The study is conducted in quantitative method with first line and middle management employee in a SOE which in a state of significant environment changes as the research object. The result has shown that knowledge inertia has a negative influence to entrepreneurial behavior and each environment dimension has a distinct influence to the formation of knowledge inertia and entrepreneurial behavior. In addition, the study also has shown that entrepreneurial behavior has a positive influence to the strategic adaptability behavior. "

"Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah rendahnya tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa FE UNP diduga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat akan kebutuhan prestasi, tingkat lokus kendali, dan tingkat efikasi diri mahasiswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey menggunakan probability sampling dengan instrumen penelitian angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebutuhan prestasi dan tingkat efikasi diri positif sebagai prediktor tingkat minat berwirausaha. Sedangkan tingkat lokus kendali lemah sebagai prediktor tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa FE UNP. Solusinya adalah dengan mahasiswa mengikuti kuliah umum, seminar, talkshow, pelatihan motivasi, manajemen waktu, dan kewirausahaan."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh persepsi mengenai kemampuan mengenali peluang dengan self-efficacy terhadap motivasi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi program magister. Penelitian dilakukan pada 211 orang mahasiswa program magister manajemen dengan menggunakan model persamaan struktural. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung variabel self-efficacy terhadap variabel motivasi berwirausaha lebih kecil daripada pengaruh tidak langsug self-efficacy terhadap motivasi berwirausaha melalui variabel persepsi mengenai kemampuan mengenali peluang. Hasil ini sekaligus memperkuat hasil-hasil penetitian sebelumnya bahwa persepsi terhadap kemampuan mengenali peluang sebagai faktor kognitif berperan positif dalam mempengaruhi minat seseorang untuk berwirausaha. Dengan demikian, persepsi terhadap kemarnpuan mengenali peluang lebih berperan daripada self-efficacy dalarn mendorong seseorang untuk berwirausaha.
Saran yang diajukan untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah: (1) mengingat besarnya pengaruh persepsi mengenai kemampuan mengenali peluang terhadap pilihan karir usaha mandiri, perlu diberikan pelatihan-pelatihan atau materi mengenai kewirausthaan di sekotah-sekolah, (2) penelitian dapat dilakukan pada mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi lain balk negeri maupun swasta, sehingga dapat diperoleh gambaran yang lebih komprehensif, (3) penelitian mengenai pengaruh kreativitas, pngetahuan sebelurnnya (prior knowledge) dan faktor kognitif seperti peran mental skema terhadap persepsi mengenai kemampuan mengenali peluang perlu dilakukan mengingat dalam penelitian ini yang diuji hanyalah kewaspadaan (allertness), (4) penelitian lanjutan mengenai hubungan yang sating mempengaruhi antara perspesi rnengenai kernampuan mengenali petuang dan self-eficacy motivasi berwirausaha dan (5) Teknik wawancara mendalarn dan focus group discussion dapat digunakan untuk melengkapi hasil penelitian, karena dalam penelitian ini kedua hal tersebut belum dilakukan.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of perception of opportunity recognition ability and self-efficacy to entrepreneurial motivation on university students of magister program. This study administered the measure of structural equation modelling to 211 students of magister management program. Results showed that the direct influence of self-efficacy variable is smaller than the indirect influence of self-efficacy to entrepreneurial motivation through variable of perception of opportunity recognition ability. The result is strengthening the prior result that perception of opportunity recognition ability as cognitive factor had positive role in influencing people's interest to entrepreneurship. Thus, perception of opportunity recognition ability has more important role than self-efficacy in pursuing individual to become an entrepreneur.
Suggestions for future research are: (1) since the important role of perception of opportunity recognition ability to entrepreneurial motivation, it is recommended to have trainings and entrepreneurial material program at schools, (2) study could be conducted on student of the other private and state universities, in order to obtained more comprehensive output, (3) it is needed to study about the role of creativity, prior knowledge and other cognitive factors such as schema mental to opportunity recognition because of the only factor of allertness that has been examined in this study, (4) further research to study mutual-relationship of perception of opportunity recognition and self-efficacy, and (5) depth interview and focus group discussion techniques could be used to add the results of this study.

"Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu penyumbang terpenting bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Di era digital, pemanfaatan e-commerce menjadi salah satu strategi untuk menghadapi persaingan dalam dunia bisnis yang semakin meningkat. Namun, UMKM di Indonesia masih dihadapkan pada berbagai kendala, terutama terkait penguasaan teknologi yang masih lemah dan pemanfaatan e-commerce yang belum optimal di dalam bisnis. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, diperlukan penyelidikan terhadap beberapa faktor yang mana dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja UMKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan, kesiapan organisasi, manajemen pengetahuan, dan adopsi e-commerce yang diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan kinerja UMKM di era digital. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan di antara variabel-variabel ini adalah Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Penelitian ini melibatkan 241 pemilik/pengelola UMKM yang telah mengadopsi e-commerce dalam bisnisnya di industri makanan dan minuman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan organisasi, orientasi kewirausahaan, manajemen pengetahuan, dan adopsi e-commerce dapat meningkatkan kinerja UMKM yang menjalankan bisnis di industri makanan dan minuman. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan sumber daya internal organisasi secara optimal guna mencapai keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan dan kinerja bisnis yang superior.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are among the most important contributors to the Indonesian economy. In the digital era, using e-commerce is one of the strategies to face the increasing competition in the business world. However, MSMEs in Indonesia are still faced with various obstacles, primarily related to the lack of mastery of technology and the unoptimized utilization of e-commerce in business. It is necessary to check the factors that can enhance MSME performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational readiness, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management, and e-commerce adoption, which are expected to improve MSME performance in the digital era. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is used to test the relationship between these variables. This study involved 241 MSME owners/managers who have adopted e-commerce in their businesses in the food and beverage industry. The results showed that organizational readiness, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management, and e-commerce adoption can significantly improve the performance of MSMEs in food and beverage businesses. These findings better explain how MSME players can optimally improve their internal organizational resources to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and superior business performance.
