"[ABSTRAKSeorang anak keturunan Jepang yang berhasil menjadi kepala negara di negara lain dan berhasil membangkitkan perekonomian negara tersebut dari keterpurukan dan juga berhasil memerangi terorisme yang sejak lama telah menjadi momok bagi masyarakat Peru?, itulah hal yang selalu dielu-elukan oleh Jepang terhadap sosok Alberto Fujimori, mantan Presiden Peru 1990-2000, walaupun segudang kasus kriminal telah ia lakukan selama masa pemerintahannya hingga akhirnya ia pun kabur ke Jepang. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengenai pemberitaan media massa Jepang akan sosok Alberto Fujimori setelah beliau ?kabur‟ ke Jepang, yaitu akhir tahun 2000. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana citra Alberto Fujimori digambarkan melalui pemberitaan media massa Jepang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan data primer artikel-artikel surat kabar Jepang dan data sekunder berupa buku bacaan yang berkaitan dengan tema penelitian. Analisis dalam penelitian ini berupa kutipan artikel surat kabar Jepang yang kemudian dikaji melalui teori analisis wacana kritis. Pada akhirnya penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa citra Alberto Fujimori yang digambarkan melalui pemberitaan media massa Jepang adalah citra baik. Meskipun terdapat pemberitaan kontra, namun hal tersebut tidak mengubah citra baik Fujimori di media Jepang.;

ABSTRACTA son of Japanese immigrant who became a President in another country outside Asia and successfully save the country from economic failure and fight against terrorism which is already appear from many years before and threatening Peru‟s society?, that was the things which is always become a pride for Japanese people about it‟s descent, Alberto Fujimori a former President of Peru for 1990-2000, although so many criminal cases he has done during his regime until he finally fled to Japan. The focus of this research is how the Japanese mass media news describe about this figure after he ?escaped‟ to Japan at the end of 2000. The purpose of this research is to examine image of Alberto Fujimori illustrated through the Japanese mass media. The method of this research is qualitative with newspaper articles as the primary data and several books which is related with the theme as the secondary data. The analysis of this research is quotation from newspaper articles and analyzed it with critical discourse analysis theory. Finally this research concluding that the image of Alberto Fujimori which is described by Japanese mass media is good image. "Musik rock disebut sebagai bentuk dari budaya popular yang mengglobal,yang diidentikkan dan diperuntul-:kan bagi anak muda. Bahkan sekarang musik rock telah rnenjadi sebuah bagian dari identitas dan gaya hidup yang tak terpisahkan dari anak muda (pnda generasi atau zamannya) yang diterima dan eksis di belahan bumi mana pun. Fenomena tersebut muncul seiiring dengan berkembangnya aliran musik rock n roll kurang iebih 50 tahun yang lalu. Fenomena tentang musik rock sebagai musiknya anak muda hingga kini masih terus dipahami keterkaitannya dan melekat satu sama lain. Oleh karena itu daiam penelitian ini, dengan melihat kaitannya dengan kehadiran media rnassa, perrnasalahan yang muncul dan akan dijawab adalah bagaimana musik rock direpresentasikan oleh media cetak di Indoensia dalam icurun waktu 1977 - 2002.Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai daiam penelitian ini, setelah melihat bagaimana media massa mewacanakan pemberitaan tentang musik rock dan budaya anak muda, adalah juga berupaya untuk menguak ideologi apa yang berada di balik musik rock yang dari tahun 1950-an hingga kini masih digandrungi, digemari, dan bahkan menjadi identitas bagi anak muda.Kerangka pemikiran yang melandasi penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan dua pendekatan atau perspektif yaitu cultural studies, berasal dari Birmingham School dan critical studies, berasal dari Frarzlgurt School, yang sama-sama berakar dari aliran Marxian. Dua pendekatan itu akan mengkaji dan menganalisis musik rock sebagai sebuah bentuk dari praktik budaya popular, budaya massal dan budaya industri yang telah mengglobal. Praktik-praktik budaya tersebut haruslah dihubungkan dengan hadimya media massa, yang dalam kacamata cuirurai studies dan crirical studies, ikut beroran mengkonstruksi pemaknaan musik rock dan budaya anak muda lewat konsep ideologi, hegemoni, dan wacana.Paradigrna penelitian yang digunakan adalah paradigma kritis yang bersifat kualitatif dengan metode analisisnya critical discourse analyisis, yang melakukan texr anaivsis dan multi-level analysis secara inrertextuol. Adapun theoretical framework yang digunakan adalah berdasarkan pemikiran-pemikiran Raymond Williams, Theodore W. Adamo, Louis Althusser, Antonio Gramsei, dan Stuart Hall. Sedangkan analythical framework yang dipergunakan mengacu pada critical discourse analysis-nya Norman Fairclough yang terbagi menjadi tiga dimensi yaitu, makro-struktur (sociocullurai pracrice), meso-struktur (discourse practice) dan mikro-struktur.Kesimpulannya bahwa musik rock dalam pemberitaannya pada media cetak di Indonesia dalam kurun Waktu 1977 - 2002 selalu dikonstruksi dan direpesesentasikan ke dalam makna sebagai sesuatu yang dinamis, penuh dengan jiwa perlawanan, pemberontakan dan sebagai bentuk dari gerakan anti~kemapanan atau counrer-cuirure. Media cetak dalam kurun waktu tersebut disimpulkan telah berhasil melanggengkan hubungan yang identik antara musik rock dan anak muda secara sistematis dan terstruktur. Musik rock yang tumbuh dan berkembang di Indonesia, oleh media cetak di Indonesia dalam kurun waktu 1977 - 2002, dipandang sebagai bentuk dari perlawanau ideologis yaitu perlawanan terhadap penguasa politik. Pada akhirnya, ideologi yang bisa direpresentasikan oleh pemberitaan media cetak tersebuf adalah ideologi perlawanan terhadap "kekuasaan"."
