"[Skripsi ini membahas mengenai proses pengadaan jurnal elektronik di perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia dari sudut pandang pustakawan. Pengadaan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan: analisis kebutuhan informasi pemustaka, seleksi, pemesanan dan kendala yang dihadapi selama proses pengadaan jurnal elektronik. Tujuan penelitian ini membantu pustakawan Universitas Indonesia untuk berefleksi tentang apa yang telah dilakukannya dalam pengadaan jurnal elektronik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah analisis kebutuhan informasi pemustaka tidak dilakukan secara serius, seleksi jurnal elektronik diserahkan kepada vendor dan kendala yang dihadapi adalah jurnal elektronik yang diembargo, sehingga pemustaka kehilangan akses sementara ke jurnal yang terbaru. Penelitian ini menyarankan perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia untuk merumuskan kebijakan pengadaan jurnal elektronik dan melakukan evaluasi dengan pihak fakultas terhadap jurnal elektronik yang sudah dilanggan.;This thesis discusses about the process of acquisition of e-journals in University of Indonesia library from viewpoint of librarian. Acquisition process in this study include the following activities: information needs analysis, the selection, ordering and obstacles faced during aquisition of e-journals process. The thesis objective is to help the librarian University of Indonesia to reflect on what they had done in aquisition of e-journals. This study used a qualitative study with case study method. The results of this thesis are analyzes user information needs have not done seriously, selection activity of e-journals handed over to the vendor as provider information and the obstacle is embargo e-journals so user lost temporary access to latest e-journals. "ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas akses koleksi lokal digital Perpustakaan Badan Pengkajiandan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT). Tujuannya adalah untuk memahami kebijakanakses koleksi lokal digital dan pemanfaatan koleksi lokal digital oleh pemustaka.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus.Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat dipahami bahwa kebijakan akses koleksilokal digital perpustakaan BPPT dikategorikan berdasarkan keanggotaan. Koleksilokal digital dimanfaatkan oleh peneliti dalam proses penyusunan laporan danpenelitian. Pengguna masih menemukan kendala pada saat mengakses koleksilokal yang diinginkan. Hasil penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa PerpustakaanBPPT perlu menambah kapasitas bandwidth guna memperbaiki akses terhadapkoleksi lokal.

ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses access to digital local collections of Badan Pengkajian dan

Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT)?s Library. The goal is to understand the local

collection of digital access policies and utilization of local digital collections by

users. This study uses qualitative research case study method. Data was collected

through interviews and observation. Based on the results of research that has been

done can be understood that the policy of the local access digital library

collections BPPT categorized based on membership. Local collections of digital

used by researchers in the process of reporting and research. Users still found

obstacles in accessing local collections as desired. This study?s results suggests

that BPPT?s library needs to increase bandwidth capacity to improve access to

local collections."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini berfokus pada pengelolaan koleksi multimedia di Pepustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Masalah yang dikaji adalah pengelolaan koleksi multimedia mulai dari pengembangan koleksi, pengadaan, pengolahan, penyimpanan dan layanan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pihak pengelola Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia yang memahami topik penelitian ini. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan koleksi multimedia di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian pengelolaan koleksi multimedia di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia, yaitu pengelolaan koleksi multimedia tidak memiliki kebijakan secara khusus untuk mengatur koleksi multimedia. Terlihat dari tidak adanya pengaturan dalam melakukan pengadaan koleksi multimedia. Pengolahan sudah sangat baik dengan melakukan pengolahan ulang seluruh koleksi multimedia dengan pedoman yang baku. Penyimpanan dan pelayanan kurang baik, terhambat tidak adanya ruang di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia untuk menyimpan maupun melayankan koleksi multimedia.

ABSTRACTThe study is about the management of multimedia collection in the library of University of Indonesia. Problems of study are collection developmet, aquisition, processing, retention, and to service. The research approach is qualitative research. Methods of data collection are observation, interview, and document analysis. The result of the research management of multimedia collection in the library of University of Indonesia, in terms of multimedia collection management, does not have a policy specifically managing multimedia collection. Seen from the lack of regulation in multimedia collection development. Processing has been very good to do a re cataloging the entire multimedia collection with firm standards. Retention and to service are not good, hampered by the lack of space at the Library of University of Indonesia as the provision of multimedia collection."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengolahan koleksi skripsi, tesis dan disertasi yang dilakukan oleh pustakawan di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menggambarkan kegiatan pengolahan koleksi skripsi, tesis dan disertasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan-hambatan yang dialami pustakawan dalam mengolah koleksi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengolahan skripsi, tesis dan disertasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia terdiri dari tahap penerimaan, tahap inventarisasi, tahap katalogisasi deskriptif, tahap katalogisasi subjek, kegiatan pasca katalogisasi serta kegiatan shelving koleksi. Kurangnya SDM dalam melakukan pengolahan secara umum maupun dalam pemeriksaan koleksi yang telah diolah, menyebabkan koleksi menumpuk. Kendala yang ditemui dalam pengolahan koleksi ini yaitu jaringan terganggu atau bad getaway; sulitnya penentuan subjek pada bidang ilmu tertentu; pengetikan dengan simbol, rumus atau bahasa khusus.

This research is about the processing of undergraduate theses, graduate theses and dissertation collections at the University of Indonesia Library. The objectives of this research are to describe the processing of undergraduate theses, graduate theses and dissertation collections, and to identify obstacles in processing the collection. This research used a case study with a qualitative approach. The results of this research show that processing of undergraduate theses, graduate theses and dissertation collections in the University of Indonesia Library consists of steps of activities such as: aqcuisition, inventory, descriptive cataloging, subject cataloging, post cataloging and shelving. The limited number of library staff to do the processing and collection checking made the unprocessed collection accumulated. Then, the obstacles encountered in the processing of this collection are interrupted network or bad getaway; the difficulty of determining a particular subject in the field of science; typing with symbols, formulas or special language."

"Di era digital saat ini, informasi disajikan dalam berbagai format dan berbagai media. Perpustakaan sudah seharusnya terus mengembangkan koleksinya agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi penggunanya. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh perpustakaan adalah dengan menyediakan electronic resources. Biaya yang cukup besar ketika melanggan electronic resources menjadi perhatian apabila penggunaan tidak optimal. Banyak faktor yang dapat memengaruhi niat pengguna untuk menggunakan kembali layanan yang diberikan perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apa saja alasan yang mendasari pengguna untuk kembali menggunakan layanan perpustakaan e-resources IEEE Xplore di Universitas Indonesia. Mahasiswa dan Dosen Universitas Indonesia yang pernah mengakses IEEE Explore merupakan subjek dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan statistik inferensial dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah metodologi kuantitatif dengan kuesioner yang diukur dengan skala likert sebagai instrumen penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian applied research yang mengambil studi kasus pada IEEE Xplore Digital Library yang dilanggan oleh Universitas Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling SEM dilakukan untuk menguji hipotesis tentang hubungan antar variabel-variabel yang diamati dan variabel-variabel laten. Pengujian variabel-variabel ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran komprehensif mengenai keseluruhan model. Sejumlah 115 data responden dianalisa menggunakan prosedur structural equation modeling SEM berbasis varian dan menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS v.3.2.6 . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perceived usefulness dan satisfaction berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap continuance intention.

In this digital era, information is presented in various formats and media. Library should continue to develop its collection in order to meet the information needs of its users. One of the efforts undertaken by the library is to provide electronic resources. The considerable cost of subscribing to electronic resources is being concerned if usage is not optimal. Many factors can affect users to reuse the services provided by the library. This study aims to examine what are the reasons underlying the users to re use IEEE Xplore e resources as library services. Students and Lecturers of University of Indonesia who have accessed IEEE Explore are the research subjects.

This study uses inferential statistics and the approach used is quantitative methodology with a questionnaire measured by Likert scale as a research instrument. This research is applied research at IEEE Xplore Digital Library which subscribed by University of Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling SEM is performed to test the hypothesis about the relationship between the observed variables and the latent variables. Testing of these variables is done to obtain a comprehensive picture of the overall model. A total of 115 respondent data were analyzed using a variance based structural equation modeling SEM procedure and using SmartPLS software v.3.2.6 . The results showed that perceived usefulness and satisfaction had significant effect on continuance intention."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas mengenai peran perpustakaan Chandra Widodo yang merupakan perpustakaan khusus milik PT Industri, dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi karyawan. PT Industri bergerak dibidang Engineering, Procurement, dan Construction (EPC). Perpustakaan Chandra Widodo memiliki koleksi arsip inaktif (dokumen proyek) sebagai repositori institusi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah peran perpustakaan Chandra Widodo tidak hanya memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang berguna bagi karyawan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan tetapi juga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi akan hiburan dan aktualisasi diri.
