"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat etnosentrisme konsumen muda di Indonesia pada merk lokal kategori fesyen serta apa saja faktor psikososial dan demografi yang melatarbelakanginya. Etnosentrisme konsumen merupakan suatu konsep etnosentrisme yang meneliti kepercayaan konsumen tentang kelayakan dan moralitas dalam membeli produk impor. Tingkat etnosentrisme konsumen dapat diukur dengan skala pengukuran CETScale yang terdiri dari beberapa pernyataan dengan pertimbangan faktor psikososial konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji signifikansi, dan tabulasi silang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non-probabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat etnosentrisme konsumen muda Indonesia cukup tinggi dengan ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari faktor psikososial dan demografi konsumen.

This study aims to find out the level of young consumer ethnocentrism in Indonesia on fashion local brand and its antecedents. Consumer ethnocentrism is a concept derived from ethnocentrism in Sociology which examine the consumer’s belif about appropriateness and morality of purchasing foreign-made products. The level of consumer ethnocentrism is measured by CETScale with psychosocial and demographic factors as its antecedents. This survey uses descriptive analysis, one sample t test, and cross tabulation with non-probability sampling technique. This study revealed the level of young consumer ethnocentrism in Indonesian is high significant divergence in psychosocial and demographic factors.

"Adanya pandemi memaksa masyarakat untuk beradaptasi dengan banyak hal, salah satunya jual beli online. Produk fashion menjadi salah satu produk yang paling banyak dibeli secara online di Indonesia selama masa COVID-19. Namun, membeli produk secara online membutuhkan banyak pertimbangan karena konsumen tidak bisa menilai secara langsung produk yang akan dibeli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh information adoption, perceived e-WOM credibility, gender, online brand experience, website design and layout, dan online brand familiarity terhadap online purchase behavior konsumen merek pakaian fashion lokal di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui pengaruh central route dan peripheral route terhadap information adoption. Sebanyak 283 responden yang pernah membeli produk pakaian fashion merek lokal melalui website selama masa COVID-19 berhasil dikumpulkan dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS). Hasil penelitian ini memvalidasi Elaboration Likelihood Model yang menunjukkan bahwa central route dan peripheral route memiliki hubungan positif dengan information adoption. Selain itu, information adoption mempengaruhi perilaku pembelian online dan dapat dimediasi oleh perceived e-WOM credibility. Selanjutnya, online brand experience memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap online purchase behavior dan dapat dimediasi oleh online brand familiarity. Terakhir, gender dan website design and layout tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan sebagai variabel moderasi antara perceived e-WOM credibility dan online purchase behavior, dan antara online brand experience dan online purchase behavior.

The existence of a pandemic forces people to adapt to many things, one of which is buying and selling online. Fashion products are one of the most purchased products online in Indonesia during the COVID-19 period. However, buying products online requires a lot of consideration since consumers cannot directly judge the products to be purchased. This study aims to examine the influence of information adoption, perceived e-WOM credibility, gender, online brand experience, website design and layout, and online brand familiarity on consumer online purchase behavior of local fashion clothing brands in Indonesia. In addition, this study also intends to determine the influence of central route and peripheral route on information adoption. A total of 283 respondents who have experienced of purchasing local fashion clothing brand products through websites during COVID-19 period were successfully collected and then analyzed using the Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS). The results of this study validate Elaboration Likelihood Model, which show that central route and peripheral route have positive relationship with information adoption. In addition, information adoption influences online purchase behavior and can be mediated by perceived e-WOM credibility. Furthermore, online brand experience has a significant influence on online purchase behavior and can be mediated by online brand familiarity. Lastly, gender and website design and layout do not have any significant influence as moderating variables between perceived e-WOM credibility and online purchase behavior, and between online brand experience and online purchase behavior."

"Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menguji pengaruh etnosentrisme konsumen pada sikap eksplisit dan implisit konsumen terhadap merek dalam dan luar negeri, serta menguji peran social desirability bias sebagai moderator dalam pengaruh tersebut. Etnosentrisme konsumen diukur menggunakan instrumen Consumer Ethnocentrism Tendency Scale (CETSCALE). Sikap eksplisit diukur menggunakan instrumen skala semantik diferensial, sedangkan sikap implisit diukur menggunakan instrumen Implicit Association Test (IAT). Sementara social desirability bias diukur menggunakan instrumen Marlowe-Crowne Social Desirability Scale (M-C SDS). Sebanyak 104 mahasiswa berusia 17-24 tahun berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan analisis pengaruh menggunakan simple regression analysis, ditemukan bahwa etnosentrisme konsumen berpengaruh secara signifikan pada sikap eksplisit terhadap merek dalam negeri (β = 0,234, p < 0,05) dan juga pada sikap implisit (β = -0,267, p < 0,05), namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada sikap eksplisit terhadap merek luar negeri (β = 0,120, p > 0,05). Sementara social desirability bias tidak signifikan berperan sebagai moderator dalam pengaruh-pengaruh tersebut (R2 = 0,015; p > 0,05). Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa etnosentrisme konsumen memang berpengaruh terhadap sikap konsumen terhadap merek dalam negeri, namun hal tersebut tidak selalu berarti bahwa konsumen menolak merek luar negeri.

This study was designed to examine the effect of consumer ethnocentrism to consumer's explicit and implicit attitude toward local and global brands, and also to test the role of social desirability bias as moderator. Consumer ethnocentrism was measured by Consumer Ethnocentrism Tendency Scale (CETSCALE). Explicit attitude was measured by semantic differential scale, and implicit attitude was measured by Implicit Association Test (IAT). Meanwhile, social desirability bias was measured by Marlowe-Crowne Social Desirability Scale (M-C SDS). There were 104 students aged 17 to 24 years old participated in this study. Based on the effect analysis using simple regression, consumer ethnocentrism was found significantly affect consumer's explicit attitude toward local brand (β = 0,234, p < 0,05) and also consumer's implicit attitude (β = -0,267, p < 0,05), but it didn't significantly affect consumer's explicit attitude toward global brand (β = 0,120, p > 0,05). Meanwhile, the role of social desirability bias as moderator was not found significant (R2 = 0,015; p > 0,05). Therefore, it could be concluded that consumer ethnocentrism did affect consumer's attitude toward local brand, but it didn't necessarily mean that the consumer reject global brand.

"Dari tahun 2014, kedai kopi spesialis menjadi tren di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori image congruity untuk menganalisis tren meminum kopi di Jakarta. Peneliti menganalisis pengaruh dari self-congruity dan functional congruity terhadap attitude dan repurchase intention dan pengaruh moderasi dari prior-knowledge mengenai kopi. Sampel terkumpul adalah 256 pelanggan Wisang Kopi di Jakarta Selatan dan 284 pelanggan Tanamera Coffee & Roastery di Jakarta Pusat. Structural Equation Modeling digunakan dalam riset. Dari hasil statistik, functional congruity adalah pendahulu dari attitude dan repurchase intention. Functional congruity memiliki efek lebih besar dalam mempengaruhi attitude di kelompok dengan prior-knowledge rendah dibandingkan kelompok dengan prior-knowledge tinggi.

From 2014, the specialist coffee shops are trending in Jakarta. This study used image congruity theory to analyze the coffee-drinking trend in Jakarta. The researcher analyzed the influence of self-congruity and functional congruity on attitude and repurchase intention and the moderating effect of prior-knowledge on coffee. The collected sample is 256 Wisang Kopi customers in South Jakarta and 284 Tanamera Coffee & Roastery customers in Central Jakarta. Structural Equation Modeling was used in the research. The output showed functional congruity as antecedent of attitude and repurchase intention. Functional congruity has more impact on attitude on customers that obtained low prior-knowledge."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dua bentuk consumer participation, yaitu consumer-consumer interaction dan consumer-brand interaction terhadap consumer brand engagement (cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, dan behavioral engagement). Serta pengaruh mediasi consumer satisfaction dalam mendorong pengaruh consumer brand engagement terhadap brand loyalty (positive eWOM, ongoing search, dan repurchase intention) dalam konteks merek kecantikan lokal Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan survei yang disebarkan secara daring pada 328 responden berusia 18-34 tahun yang pernah membeli dan membuka media sosial merek kecantikan lokal. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan metode structural equation modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa consumer-consumer interaction dan consumer-brand interaction berpengaruh secara positif pada cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, dan behavioral engagement. Dapat diketahui bahwa consumer satisfaction memediasi pengaruh cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, dan behavioral engagement terhadap positive eWOM, ongoing search behavior, dan repurchase intention. Penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi bagi pemasar untuk mengelola partisipasi konsumen di media sosial.

This study aims to determine the effect of two forms of consumer participation, namely consumer-consumer interaction and consumer-brand interaction on consumer brand engagement (cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, and behavioral engagement). As well as the mediating effect of consumer satisfaction in encouraging the influence of consumer brand engagement on brand loyalty (positive eWOM, ongoing search behavior, and repurchase intention) in the context of Indonesian local beauty brands. This study uses a survey distributed online to 328 respondents aged 18-34 years who had purchased and opened the social media of a local beauty brand. The data collected was then processed using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method. The results of this study indicate that consumer-consumer interactions and consumer-brand interactions have a positive effect on cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, and behavioral engagement. It can be seen that consumer satisfaction mediates the effect of cognitive engagement, emotional engagement, and behavioral engagement on positive eWOM, ongoing search behavior, and repurchase intention. This study also provides meaningful implications for marketers to manage consumer participation on social media."

"Industri busana modest merupakan salah satu segmen paling berpengaruh untuk pasar Indonesia, yakni menjadi bisnis multi-miliar dolar yang menyumbang 1,25% dari total PDB Indonesia, sehingga perusahaan dan stakeholders di sektor ini perlu memahami apa yang sedang berkembang di kalangan konsumennya. Komunitas muslim semakin dapat menerima cara mengkomunikasikan kepribadian individu dengan memanipulasi tren mode terbaru ke dalam berbagai gaya busana yang membuka ruang untuk menunaikan kewajiban agama sekaligus mengekspresikan diri. Hal tersebut membuka peluang bagi para merek, pelaku usaha, dan desainer busana modest untuk terus berinovasi yang dapat menghasilkan nilai jual tinggi pada produk hingga dapat menetapkan harga premium. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor pendorong kesediaan konsumen muslim untuk menerima harga premium terhadap produk busana modest premium dari merek lokal. Metode purposive sampling pada penelitian ini melibatkan 219 responden dari kalangan Generasi Y dan Z di Indonesia yang pernah membeli produk busana modest premium selama 6 bulan terakhir. Dengan mengadopsi Social Identity Theory dan Self-Identity Theory melalui metode Structural Equation Modeling dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand satisfaction yang dipengaruhi product satisfaction berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap premium price. Kemudian, yang berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap product satisfaction, ialah product quality, product design, dan self-identity.

The modest fashion industry is one of the most influential segments for the Indonesian market, being a multi-billion dollar business that accounts for 1.25% of Indonesia's total GDP. Companies and stakeholders in this sector need to understand what is developing among their consumers. The Muslim community is increasingly receptive to ways of communicating individual personalities by manipulating the latest fashion trends into various fashion styles that open up space to fulfill religious obligations as well as to express themselves. This opens up opportunities for brands, business actors, and modest fashion designers to continue to innovate that can generate high selling value in products so that they can set premium prices. This study aims to analyze the driving forces behind the willingness of Muslim consumers to accept premium prices for premium modest clothing products from local brands. The purposive sampling method in this study involved 219 respondents from Generations Y and Z in Indonesia who had purchased premium modest clothing products for the last 6 months. By adopting Social Identity Theory and Self-Identity Theory through the Structural Equation Modeling method with the Partial Least Square approach, the results show that brand satisfaction, which is influenced by product satisfaction, has a significant positive effect on the premium price. Then, variables that have a significant positive effect on product satisfaction are product quality, product design, and self-identity."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini mengembangkan dan menguji model consumer-based chain restaurant brand equity (CBCRBE) dan menginvestigasi efek dari variabel-variabel yang berada di dalam CBCRBE terhadap reputasi sebuah brand dan juga kepercayaan konsumen terhadap brand tersebut dan juga menginvestigasi efek dari reputasi sebuah brand terhadap brand trust dengan menggunakan metode structural equation modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa kepercayaan konsumen terhadap brand tersebut dipengaruhi oleh reputasi sebuah brand, brand affect, self-congruence. Serta reputasi sebuah brand dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti kualitas makanan dan juga pelayanan restoran, kesadaran konsumen terhadap sebuah brand, dan atribut asosiasi sebuah brand. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa self-congruence berpengaruh negatif terhadap reputasi sebuah brand, dan kesadaran konsumen terhadap sebuah brand berpengaruh negatif terhadap reputasi brand

ABSTRACT
This study was to develop and test models of consumer-based chain restaurant brand equity (CBCRBE) and investigate the effects of variables that are within CBCRBE to the reputation of a brand and consumer confidence in the brand and also investigated the effect of the reputation of a brand to brand trust using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of this study confirm that consumer confidence in the brand is influenced by brand reputation, brand affect, and self-congruence. As well as the reputation of a brand is influenced by factors such as the quality of the food and restaurant services, consumer awareness of a brand, and a brand attribute association. The study also found that self-congruence negatively affect the reputation of a brand and consumer awareness of a brand negatively affect brand reputation"

"Industri fesyen adalah salah satu kontributor utama pada sektor ekonomi kreatif di Indonesia. Produk domestik bruto (PDB) industri tekstil dan pakaian jadi mencapai Rp35,17 triliun pada kuartal II tahun 2022. Tren fesyen di Indonesia pada mulanya banyak mengadaptasi gaya busana masyarakat luar negeri. Namun tren ini mulai bergeser dengan munculnya banyak merek lokal yang mulai dikenal oleh masyarakat. Co-branding merupakan strategi pemasaran yang populer digunakan oleh para pemasar untuk mengenalkan produknya. Terdapat banyak merek fesyen lokal di Indonesia yang berkolaborasi dengan influencers media sosial untuk menjangkau lebih banyak konsumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor co-branding apa saja yang dapat memengaruhi pembelian konsumen terhadap produk kolaborasi merek fesyen lokal dengan social media influencers (SMI). Model penelitian dibangun menggunakan teori reasoned action dan teori co-branding untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat beli. Penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online. Analisis sebanyak 206 data responden dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor SMI expertise mempengaruhi perceived fit yang lebih lanjut memengaruhi attitude towards co-brand dan purchase intention. Sedangkan faktor brand coolness, self-brand connection with influencers dan product involvement tidak ditemukan mempengaruhi perceived fit.

The fashion industry is one of the main top contributors to the creative economy sector in Indonesia. The gross domestic product (GDP) of the textile and apparel industry reached IDR 35.17 trillion in the second quarter of 2022. At the beginning of its development, Indonesian fashion trends still adapted many foreign fashion styles. However, this trend began to shift with the emergence of many local brands that began to be recognized by the public. Co-branding is a popular marketing strategy used by marketers to introduce their products. There are many local fashion brands in Indonesia that collaborate with social media influencers to reach more consumers. This research was conducted to find out what co-branding factors can influence consumer purchases of local fashion brand collaboration products with social media influencers (SMI). The research model was built using reasoned action theory and co-branding theory to understand the factors that influence purchase intention. The research was conducted quantitatively by distributing questionnaires online. Analysis of 206 respondent data was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method. The results showed that the SMI expertise factor affects perceived fit which further affects attitude towards co-brand and purchase intention. While the factors of brand coolness, self-brand connection with influencers and product involvement were not found to affect perceived fit."

"Penelitian ini akan menyelidiki pertimbangan masa depan yang dilakukan oleh konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan konsumsinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam bentuk eksperiman dengan disain 2x2 faktorial. Faktor pertama yang diterapkan adalah faktor pertimbangan masa depan (future consideration) dengan dua tingkat faktor, yaitu anticipated regret dan expected future benefit dan faktor kedua adalah tipe jasa dengan dua tingkat faktor yaitu jasa on going dan jasa transactional. Subjek penelitiannya adalah para mahasiswa program S1, Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Tarumanegara, Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh future consideration terhadap pengambilan keputusan konsumen adalah signifikan sedangkan pengaruh tipe jasa tidak signifikan. Di pihak lain, juga ditemukan bahwa tingkat faktor anticipated regret lebih dominan daripada expected future benefit dalam pengambilan keputusan konsumen."

"ABSTRAK
Self-generated validity research has demonstrated that responding to survey questions changes subsequently measured judgements and behavior. We examine the scope and persistence of the effect of measuring satisfaction on customer behavior over time. In a field experiment conducted in a financial services setting, we hypothesize and find that measuring satisfaction (a) changes one-time purchase behavior, (b) changes relational customer behaviors (likelihood of defection, aggregate product use, and profitability), and (c) results in effects that increase for months afterward and persist even a year later. These results raise questions concerning the design, interpretation, and ethics in the conduct of applied marketing research studies."
