"Skripsi ini membahas struktur wacana naratif dan unsur penghubung yang menjadi faktor keutuhan wacana bahasa Isyarat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis video bahasa Isyarat tentang tuturan dongeng Kelinci dan Kura-kura yang disampaikan oleh dua informan Tuli penutur jati bahasa Isyarat Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan struktur wacana naratif dan unsur penghubung wacana dari unsur kohesif dan unsur topik komen atas data yang sudah diambil dan ditranskripsikan. Berdasarkan variabel struktur yang diberikan oleh Labov dan Waletzky 1967 , wacana naratif bahasa Isyarat memiliki kesesuaian dari segi strukturnya. Dalam hal keutuhan wacana, terdapat kesesuaian dengan aspek-aspek yang diajukan oleh Schembri dan Johnston 2007 dalam menganalisis unsur kohesif dan topik komen. Unsur topik komen sebagai keutuhan wacana naratif terlihat dalam kesinambungan topik. Unsur kohesif dan topik komen dalam wacana naratif oleh penutur Isyarat ditandai dengan gerakan manual dan gerakan nomanual.

This study deals with the narrative structure and connecting elements of narrative discourse in Jakarta Sign Language JakSL . There are two methods used in this study, descriptive and qualitative. This study aims to describe the narrative superstructure and connecting elements of narrative discourse mdash focusing on cohesive and topic comment mdash from the data. The data are taken from transcription of two narrative signing videos about fable mdash The Hare and The Tortoise mdash narrated by JakSL signers. Between the theories about narrative structure by Labov dan Waletzky 1967 , research by Schembri dan Johnston 2007 and analysis of the data, there are compatibility of aspects in narrative superstructure. Moreover, it appears that manual and non manual sign are used to mark the connecting elements of narrative discourse in cohesive aspects and topic comment. Topic comment aspect is constantly delivered in topic continuity to demonstrate the unity of narrative discourse."

"Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan alat kohesi gramatikal pada wacana naratif lisan yang dituturkan anak usia prasekolah 4 mdash;6 tahun . Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh gender pada penggunaan alat kohesi gramatikal anak usia prasekolah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 28 anak perempuan dan laki-laki yang bersekolah di Taman Kanak-kanak Bogor. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan narasi oleh subjek penelitian berdasarkan buku cerita bergambar tanpa tulisan. Data tersebut diperoleh melalui Teknik elisitasi produksi. Selain itu, terdapat pula data berupa gambaran demografis subjek dan orang tua subjek yang didapatkan dari kuesioner. Perbandingan penggunaan alat kohesi gramatikal dianalisis secara statistik dan dikaitkan dengan sejumlah teori mengenai pemerolehan bahasa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kecenderungan berbeda pada anak perempuan dan laki-laki dalam memproduksi alat kohesi gramatikal. Akan tetapi, perbedaan kecenderungan tersebut tidak signifikan.

This research analyzed the use of grammatical cohesion devices in narrative discourse between Girls and Boys in preschool age. This research is done to see how gender could affect preschool kids in using grammatical cohesion device. The subjects of this research are 28 girls and boys who attended Bogor Kindergarten. The data used in this research is narratives speech that were told by the kids based on wordless picture story book which obtained by using elicited production task technique. Other than that, there were also demographic visual of the subject and their parents based on the questionnaire that given before. The comparison between subject rsquo s use of grammatical cohesion device were analyzed statistically and linked to several theories about language acquisition and gender studies. The result shows that there are several trends in the use of grammatical cohesion device between girls and boys. However, the statistical analysis indicates that the difference is not significant."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas argumen dalam narasi yang terdapat pada tulisan SamuelMulia di rubrik Parodi Kompas Minggu pada tahun 2010. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa semua elemen narasi terdapat pada tulisan Samuel Muliayaitu abstraksi, orientasi (tokoh, situasi, dan waktu), komplikasi, evaluasi, hasil,dan koda. Elemen-elemen narasi tersebut sebagian besar dibangun oleh hubunganantarproposisi logis, yaitu hubungan alasan-HASIL; hubungan syarat-KONSEKUENSI; hubungan sarana-TUJUAN; hubungan konsesi-LAWANHARAPAN, dan hubungan dasar-KESIMPULAN. Hubungan-hubungan tersebutmerupakan hubungan logis yang menunjukkan adanya argumen yang hendakdisampaikan pada narasi dalam tulisan Samuel Mulia tersebut. Selain hubunganlogis tersebut, sebagian elemen narasi dibangun oleh hubungan antarproposisiorientasi dan penjelasan, yaitu hubungan keadaan-INDUK; hubungan INDUKamplifikasi;hubungan ilustrasi-INDUK; dan hubungan GENERIK-spesifik.Elemen narasi yang mengandung argumen adalah evaluasi, orientasi, dankomplikasi. Oleh sebab itu, narasi tidak hanya menceritakan peristiwa saja, tetapijuga menyampaikan sesuatu.

AbstractThis research discusses argument in narrative texts, which is Samuel Mulia's article in rubric Parody of Kompas Minggu 2010. The result of this researchshows that narrative elements found in Samuel Mulia works are abstraction,orientation (actor, time, and situation), evaluation, complication, result, and coda.Most parts of those narrative elements are constructed by logic interpropositionrelations, which are reason-RESULT relation; condition-CONSEQUENCErelation; means-PURPOSE relation; consession-CONTRAEXPECTATION; andground-CONCLUSION. Those relations are logic relations which showarguments that the writer wants to convey in the text. While the other parts of thenarrative elements are constructed by support relation and orientation relation,which are circumstance-HEAD relation; HEAD-amplification relation;illustration-HEAD relation; and GENERIC-specific relation. Narrative elementswhich contain argument are evaluation, orientation, and complication. Therefore,the narrative texts not only tell about events but also convey arguments."

"Skripsi ini meneliti gaya bahasa, pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama, presuposisi, dan pemarkah kohesi yang terdapat dalam teks satire Die Kofferbombe karya Osman Engin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gaya bahasa, penyebab humor, dan kepaduan teks yang terdapat dalam teks Die Kofferbombe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah teks satire Die Kofferbombe menggunakan beberapa gaya bahasa terutama ironi dan hiperbola. Pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama yang terdapat dalam teks ini digunakan satiris untuk menciptakan humor dan menyampaikan kritiknya. Pemarkah kohesi dalam teks ini berfungsi untuk mengaitkan tema dengan isi cerita.

This study examines the trope, violations of cooperative principle, presuppositions, and cohesion within the satirical text Die Kofferbombe written by Osman Engin. The purpose of this study is to determine the tropes, the cause of humor, and the text cohesion. The research method is a qualitative method.The result shows that the text of satire Die Kofferbombe uses several tropes, mainly irony and hyperbole. Violations of the cooperative principle contained in this text are used by satirist to create humor and to convey his critics. The function of cohesion marker in this text is to link the theme with the story."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis konstruksi wacana mengenai Presidensi G20 Indonesia oleh agensi berita internasional asal Amerika Serikat Associated Press. G20 Indonesia merupakan salah satu mega-events yang mendapatkan amplifikasi media secara global. Namun, format media saat ini tidaklah netral dan agensi berita internasional, termasuk Associated Press berperan dalam penetapan agenda internasional yang dilakukan dengan mengkonstruksi suatu wacana. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis wacana kritis berbasis korpus dan pendekatan wacana historis untuk memperjelas presensi Indonesia dalam wacana Presidensi G20 Indonesia dan eksklusi serta inklusi wacana oleh Associated Press sebagai cerminan pemapanan kekuasaan oleh agensi berita internasional selama Presidensi G20 Indonesia. Selanjutnya, ekologi media dimana Associated Press bekerja juga dijelaskan dengan konsep multiaksialitas dan hiperrealitas. Analisis wacana kritis berbasis korpus menemukan bahwa wacana yang dikonstruksi oleh Associated Press mengenai G20 Indonesia adalah wacana konflik Ukraina dan Rusia, presensi China pada G20 Indonesia, dan Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah G20 periode 2021-2022. Peran Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah G20 dieksklusikan dalam wacana terkait konflik Ukraina dan Rusia, dan Indonesia diinklusikan dengan wacana kedekatan China dan Indonesia selama presidensi G20 Indonesia yang dipermasalahkan oleh Associated Press. Selain itu, Associated Press juga menggunakan strategi makro-diskursif konstruktif, transformasi, dan destruksi untuk membentuk wacana identitas nasional. Praktik diskursif yang dilakukan oleh Associated Press tersebut merupakan upaya pemapanan kekuasaan yang dilatarbelakangi oleh transisi rezim media yang menimbulkan proliferasi sumber informasi baru di satu sisi, namun masih didominasi oleh sejumlah agensi berita internasional yang saling bersaing dalam menentukan wacana internasional dan masih membawa warisan Perang Dingin di sisi lain.

This study analyzes the discourse construction on Indonesia's G20 Presidency by an international news agency from the United States Associated Press. G20 Indonesia is one of the mega-events that has received media amplification globally. However, the current media format is not neutral and international news agencies, including the Associated Press play a role in setting the international agenda which is done by constructing a discourse. Thus, this study uses corpus-based critical discourse analysis and historical discourse approaches to clarify Indonesia's presence in the discourse of the Indonesian G20 Presidency and the exclusion and inclusion of discourse by the Associated Press as a reflection of the power establishment by international news agencies during Indonesia's G20 Presidency. Furthermore, the media ecology in which the Associated Press works is also explained by the concepts of multiaxiality and hyperreality. Corpus-based critical discourse analysis found that the discourse constructed by the Associated Press regarding Indonesia's G20 was the discourse on the Ukraine and Russia conflict, China's presence at the Indonesian G20, and Indonesia as the host of the 2021-2022 G20. Indonesia's role as host of the G20 was excluded in the discourse regarding the Ukraine and Russia conflict, and Indonesia was included in the discourse on the closeness of China and Indonesia during Indonesia's G20 presidency which was disputed by the Associated Press. In addition, the Associated Press also uses constructive, transformational, and destructive macro-discursive strategies to shape national identity discourses. The discursive practice carried out by the Associated Press is an effort to establish power against the backdrop of the transition of media regimes which has led to the proliferation of new sources of information on the one hand, but is still dominated by some international news agencies which compete each other in determining international discourse and still carry the legacy of the Cold War in the other side."
