This research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the relationship between religious fundamentalism and political intolerance with the moderating effect of need for closure on the relationship of these two variables. Religious fundamentalism is predicted to have a positive relationship with political intolerance where need for closure can strengthen the relationship between them. Political intolerance is measured by the Political Tolerance Scale developed by Mujani, Liddle, and Pepinsky (2018) while religious fundamentalism is measured by the Intratextual Scale Fundamentalism adapted by Muluk, Sumaktoyo and Ruth (2013). Need for closure is measured by Need for Closure Scale developed by Roets and Van Hiel (2011) to measure the needs of regularity, predictability, firmness, avoidance of ambiguity, and close mindedness. Respondents of this study were 211 people in the general public in Indonesia who are Muslim and netted online. The results showed that religious fundamentalism was positively and significantly correlated with political intolerance. Need for closure has a contribution as a moderator on the relationship between religious fundamentalism and political intolerance, especially when the need for closure is high. However, in terms of individual effect, there was no significant role for need for closure in explaining political intolerance. This finding shows the importance of the role of cognitive factors in understanding religion and political attitudes."

K-Pop ia  a rising global phenomenon in Indonesia, especially the last several years. This study aims to evaluate the predictive relationship between psychological distress and celebrity worship, also the role of maladaptive daydreaming as mediator. Previous studies found that psychological distress has a significant relationship with celebrity worship and maladaptive daydreaming is one of the mediator (Zsila et al., 2019). However, this study specifically aimed to emerging adult K-Pop fans (N = 252) age 18-25 years old (M = 21.04, SD = 1.713). Celebrity worship measured by Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS) by Maltby et al. (2002) and psychological distress used The Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) by Kessler et al. (2002). Maladaptive Daydreaming Scale-16 (MDS-16) by Somer et al. (2002) used for maladaptive daydreaming. Mediation was analyzed using PROCESS 4.0 from SPSS version 24. This study found that psychological distress has no direct effect on celebrity worship (𝛽 = -.0289, p > .05). However, maladaptive daydreaming was found as a mediator (𝛽 = .20, BootSE = .06, Cl 95% [.08, .34]). In conclusion, an increase in psychological distress is followed by an increase in maladaptive daydreaming then an increase in maladaptive daydreaming is followed by an increase in celebrity worship."

"Psychological well-being remaja memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan parent attachment.
Partisipan berjumlah 352 remaja usia 13 – 18 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Ryff’s Scale of Psychological Well being(RPWB), Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised (IPPA-R)-Parent Scale dan Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS).

Psychological well-being is closely related to parental attachment. The reason is that a secure attachment can be a foundation for developing trust in parents and the surrounding environment, as well as increasing child's ability to develop effective coping strategies which will ultimately improve psychological well-being. The effect of attachment on psychological well-being can occur directly or mediated by other relevant factors, one of which is dispositional mindfulness. This study aims to determine the role of dispositional mindfulness as a mediator in the relationship between parent attachment and psychological well-being in adolescents. Participants in the study were 352 adolescents aged 13-18 years. The instruments used were Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-being (RPWB), Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment-Revised (IPPA-R)Parent Scale and Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS). The result of the correlation analysis shows that the three variables in this study are significantly related to each other. The result of the mediation analysis shows that dispositional mindfulness partially mediates the relationship between parent attachment and psychological well-being in adolescents.
