"Puisi, sebagai tempat untuk mengemukakan perasaan atau mengungkapkan isi hati bukanlah monopoli orang dewasa, meskipun melihat kenyataan bahwa kumpulan-kumpulan puisi yang diterbitkan di Jakarta rata-rata ditulis oleh orang dewasa. Dalam kenyataannya anak-anak pun banyak menyukai puisi, tidak hanya senang membaca, menulis pun mereka lakukan. Majalah anak-anak Bobo, Kawanku, Ananda atau koran Suara Pembaruan Minggu dan Suara Karya edisi Sabtu adalah tempat anak-anak melontarkan karya puisi mereka. Dengan adanya majalah khusus untuk anak-anak dan media cetak umum yang menyediakan lembar atau kolom khusus puisi, cukup dapat membuktikan bahwa anak-anak suka dan banyak yang menjadi penyair cilik. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan lembar atau kolom puisi yang selalu penuh dengan karya anak-anak, dan sejauh ini belum ada majalah atau koran yang menghapus lembar tersebut karena alasan tidak ada kiriman sajak yang masuk ke meja redaksi. Selain daripada media cetak, sekolah-sekolah pun memberikan perhatian yang cukup baik terhadap bentuk kreativitas ini. Beberapa sekolah dasar sudah ada yang mencoba mengumpulkan puisi hasil karya murid-muridnya. Misalnya saja kumpulan sajak murid-murid SD Mutiara, Singaraja atau antologi sajak murid-murid SD Laborato_rium IKIP, Malang yang berjudul Musim Semi Telah Tiba (Tusthi Eddy, 1983 : 94). Langkah yang cukup menggembira telah dimulai oleh suatu panitia yang mengadakan lomba lukis dan puisi untuk anak-anak, dalam rangka menyambut tahun internasional anak-anak sedunia tahun 1979 (lomba tersebut diadakan pada akhir tahun 1978). Hasil dari lomba tersebut kemudian dibukukan dan dipublikasikan dengan judul Puisiku, Duniaku (PT Indira, 1979). Bagi anak-anak, selain sebagai wadah untuk mencurahkan perasaannya, puisi juga berguna sebagai hiburan. Misalnya kumpulan puisi Gembira Ria berisi tentang dunia anak-anak yang ceria. Kegunaan lain dari puisi anak adalah sebagai sarana pendidikan atau penambah pengetahuan, misalnya raja pengetahuan tentang jenis tumbuh-tumbuhan (Pohon-pohon Sahabat kita, Namaku Bunga) atau tentang hewan-hewan (Mereka Menunggu Ibunya)."

"[ABSTRAK Jurnal ini membahas tentang analisis makna ?nim? dalam dua puisi karya Kim Sowol yang berjudul 님의노래(Nimeui Norae, Nyanyian Kekasih) dan 님에게(Nimege,Untuk Kekasih). Kedua puisi ini menarik untuk ditelitikarena keduanya mengandung kata ?nim? yang dapat diinterpretasikan berbeda. Akan tetapi, jika ditelaah lebihdalam, makna ?kekasih? dalam kedua puisi ini dapat memiliki makna yang berbeda dengan makna ?nim? yangsebenarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah close reading dengan pendekatan strukturaldan semiotik. Studi kepustakaan dilakukan untuk mengetahui latar belakang sosial masyarakat Korea dan penyairsaat kedua puisi ini ditulis. Analisis dalam jurnal ini dikaitkan dengan hakikat puisi, yaitu tema, perasaan penyair,nada, dan amanat puisi, lalu menerjemahkan keseluruhan kedua puisi ini dengan berfokus pada makna ?nim?. Hasildari penelitian ini adalah makna ?nim? dalam puisi yang berjudul Nimeui Norae memiliki makna "negara" dimanayang dimaksud di sini adalah Korea, sedangkan makna ?nim? dalam puisi yang berjudul Nimege memiliki makna?kekasih?.ABSTRAK This journal discusses about the analysis of ?nim??s meaning in two Kim Sowol?s poetries entitled 님의노래(Nimeui Norae, Lover?s Song) and 님에게(Nimege, For Lover). Then, translate both of those poetries with more focus to the meaning of the "nim?. The results of this studyis ?nim? in Nimeui Norae means "country" or Korea. "[ABSTRAK Renaissance yang muncul di abad ke-16 di Italia mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kesusastraan Prancis, salah satunya adalah puisi « Heureux qui, comme Ulysse... ». Puisi ini ditulis oleh Joachim du Bellay, salah seorang anggota La Pléiade, kelompok penyair yang mempunyai gagasan-gagasan baru dalam kesusastraan Prancis. Melalui analisis aspek-aspek pembangun puisi, yaitu aspek bentuk dan bunyi, aspek semantik, serta aspek pragmatik, tulisan ini membahas patriotisme dalam puisi itu. Penggunaan bahasa Prancis dalam puisi berbentuk soneta alexandrin yang berasal dari Italia menunjukkan patriotisme penyair terhadap negara Prancis. Makna dari puisi ini adalah perasaan cinta dan kerinduan akan tanah kelahiran yang terlihat dari analisis semantik. Analisis pragmatik memaparkan tema patriotisme dalam puisi yang pada abad ini masih bersifat kedaerahan. Akan tetapi, patriotisme ini tidak hanya menunjukkan sifat kedaerahan, namun juga terhadap negara dengan menggunakan bahasa Prancis untuk menghasilkan karya sastra seindah karya dalam bahasa Yunani atau Latin. Through the analysis of some aspects, such as form and sound, semantics, and pragmatics, this article studies patriotism of the poetry. The fact that the poet used French for this sonnet alexandrin originated from Italy shows his patriotism for his country. The meaning of the poetry is a feeling of love and yearn for his motherland which can be seen through semantics analysis. Pragmatics analysis explain the theme of patriotism that was still provincial during that century. However, patriotism of this poetry was not only provincial, as the poetry also presented patriotism for the country by using French to create belles-lettres as beautiful as those written in Greek or Latin.
