"ABSTRAK
Budaya populer Korea menjadi salah satu kekuatan diplomatik yang paling berpengaruh di dunia. Salah satu produk budaya penting yang turut berkembang di samping mendunianya musik K-Pop adalah kuliner Korea, yang kini turut didukung dengan perkembangan teknologi. Emily Kim atau yang dikenal luas dengan nama Maangchi merupakan salah seorang pelaku penting dalam penyebaran budaya kuliner Korea secara daring. Kepopuleran Maangchi dari segi jumlah pelanggan saluran Youtube dan kelengkapan informasi dalam laman daring pribadinya menarik minat penulis untuk meneliti lebih jauh mengenai strategi budaya yang diterapkannya. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis meneliti mengenai bagaimana interaksi lintas budaya (cross-cultural) melalui media sosial Youtube Maangchi mempengaruhi globalisasi kuliner Korea. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan itu penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif Schreier (2012). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi ­cross-cultural dalam saluran Maangchi memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap globalisasi kuliner Korea, seperti mempererat hubungan antara komunitas global peminat kuliner Korea dan memberikan informasi daring terpercaya mengenai kuliner autentik Korea. Selain itu, Maangchi juga mampu menjembatani orang-orang dengan latar belakang budaya yang beragam untuk memahami kuliner Korea melalui penyampaian informasi yang praktis, bersifat adaptif, subtitutif, dan terbuka."
