"Guru SMA di Pangkalpinang masih memiliki kelemahan dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran. Kelemahan itu meliputi perencanaan,pelaksanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran. Permasalahan itu perlu diatasi dengan melaksanakan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah melalui pendekatan supervisi klinis. Supervisi klinis adalah bantuan profesional yang diberikan kepada guru agar yang bersangkutan dapat mengatasi masalahnya dengan menempuh langkah-langkah yang sistematis. Melalui metode kuantitatif(kuesioner kepada guru SMA) dan kualitatif (wawancara mendalam kepada informan kunci) diperoleh temuan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis oleh pengawas sekolah belum optimal baik dalam prinsip-prinsip, syarat-syarat maupun prosedurnya. Belum optimalnya pelaksanaan supervisi klinis oleh pengawas sekolah tersebut karena lemahnya kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi supervisi akademik, dan kompetensi sosial pengawas sekolah.

High School teachers in Pangkalpinang have several limitation in managing their learning process. The limitation include planning, implementation and learning assessment. That issues should be overcame by doing academic supervision , conducted by superintendent through clinical supervision approach. Clinical supervision is professional help given to teachers so that the teachers can handle their problem using systematic step. Using two methods, quantitative methods ( questionnaires to High School teacher) and qualitative methods (in-depth interview to key informant) show clinical supervision is not implemented by superintedent optimally both in principles, conditions and procedures. It is because the limitation in personality competence, academic supervision competence and superintendent's social competence."

"Dalam tesis ini mengukur efektivitas pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng berdasarkan persepsi guru. Permasalahan yang terjadi di SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng adalah tidak berjalannya pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas rumpun mata pelajaran, sehingga supervisi akademik dilaksanakan oleh pengawas pembina. Tujuannya adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng menurut persepsi guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 58 orang guru. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah di SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng kurang efektif menurut persepsi guru.

In this thesis measure the effectiveness of academic supervision by school Supervisor in SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng by teachers perceptions. "Perumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah "Apakah terdapat pengaruh kompetensi kompetensi supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah dan iklim organisasi terhadap profesionalisme guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah". Jenis sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling, dimana pengambilan sampel memberikan peluang sama bagi guru-guru SMP Negeri pada populasi survei. Ukuran sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 7% diperoleh 110 orang guru. Teknik yang digunakan untuk penarikan sampel adalah teknik acak sistematis (systematic random sampling). Adapun analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan: (1) Kompetensi supervisi akademik pengawas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru. (2) Iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru. (3) Kompetensi supervisi akademik pengawas dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme.

Formulation of the problem in this study was "Is there supervision of academic competence competence influence the school superintendent and teacher organizational climate of professionalism Junior High School in Central Lampung regency?". Types of samples in this study is probability sampling, where sampling provides equal opportunities for state school teachers in the survey population. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 7% obtained 110 teachers. The technique used for sampling is the technique of systematic random (systematic random sampling). The analysis of data using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression.

Based on the results of the study concluded: (1) Academic Competence regulatory supervision significantly influences the professionalism of teachers. (2) organizational climate significantly influence the professionalism of teachers. (3) Competency of academic supervision and oversight of organizational climate significantly influence professionalism. "

"ABSTRAKSistem supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah adalah kegiatan pengawasan akademik yang dilakukan oleh pengawas satuan pendidikan terhadap guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, agar lebih profesional dan kompeten dalam bidangnya.Sistem pengawasan terdiri tiga dimensi kegiatan, yaitu memantau, menilai, dan membina. Profesiolalisme guru adalah merupakan sikap mental yang senantiasa mendorong untuk mewujudkan diri sebagai guru profesional yang kompetensi dalam bidangnya. Kompetensi profesionalisme guru terdiri dari empat dimensi yaitu pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh antara sistem supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sistem supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru di SMA Negeri 1 Padang Ratu Lampung Tengah. Jenis penelitian adalah eksplanatif dengan dua variabel, yaitu sistem supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah sebagai variabel bebas dan profesionalisme guru sebagai variabel terikat. Data diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda.Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa sistem supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru. Demikian pula hasil analisis regresi berganda terhadap masing-masing dimensi variabel bebas, seluruh dimensi supervisi akademik berpengaruh secara serempak terhadap masing-masing dimensi profesionalisme guru. Secara parsial, dimensi supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap masingmasing dimensi profesionalisme guru adalah dimensi menilai dan dimensi membina/melatih terhadap dimensi kompetensi pedagogik profesionalisme guru; Dimensi menilai pengawas sekolah dalam melakukan supervisi akademik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi kompetensi profesional profesionalisme guru; Dimensi membina/melatih dari kegiatan supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi kompetensi kepribadian profesionalisme guru; Dimensi membina/melatih dari kegiatan supervisi akademik pengawas sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi kompetensi sosial profesionalisme guru.Kata Kunci: sistem supervisi akademik, profesionalisme guru

ABSTRACT

Supervision academic system of school supervisor is the action supervision academic that is done by supervisor of education unit toward the teacher in professional carrying out their duties. There are three actions in dimensions supervision system, they are supervising, scoring, and guiding. The teacher professionalism is the expression of attitude than gain to the professional.

There are four dimensions of teacher professionalism. They are pedagogic, professional, character, and social. The formulation problem in this research is whether there is influences between the supervision academic system of school supervisor towards the teacher professionalism. The aim of research to analyze the influence of the supervision academic system of school supervisor toward the teachers professionalism at state SMA 1 Padang Ratu Central Lampung. The kind of the research is explanative with two variable, supervision academic system of school supervisor is as in independent variable and teachers professionalism is as dependent variable. The data?s are abstained by using questioners, and then the analyzed using simple regression analysis and multiple regression.

The result of research is known that the supervision academic of school supervisor influences significantly toward the teacher professionalism, and so the result of the double analysis regression toward to each dimension independent variable the all dimension of supervision academic influence compactly toward to each the dimension of the teacher professionalism partially. The dimensions of supervision academic of school supervisor that influence significantly toward each dimension of scoring and dimension of guiding toward the dimension of pedagogic competence. The dimension of scoring of school supervisor in doing supervision academic influence significantly toward the dimension of teacher professionalism; dimension of guiding from actions supervision academic of school supervisor influence significantly toward the dimension of the teacher character professionalism; dimension of guiding from the activities supervision academic of school supervisor influence significantly toward the dimension of social.

"Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik oleh Pengawas Sekolah di SMA Negeri Kota Bontang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menggali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah di SMA Negeri Kota Bontang.Variabel terikat (dependen) adalah pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah . Jumlah populasi sebanyak 60 guru yang sudah pernah di supervisi oleh pengawas, sampel diambil dari seluruh populasi sehingga penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor dan analisis regresi ganda dengan metode stepwise. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah secara signifikan yaitu faktor kompetensi evaluasi pendidikan pengawas sekolah sebesar 0,210. Tiga faktor lain yang tidak berpengaruh yaitu: 1) kompetensi profesional guru disebabkan kurangnya pembinaan pengawas terhadap guru dalam menerapkan teori belajar, metode dan media pembelajaran pada saat pembelajaran, 2) kompetensi kepribadian pengawas sekolah disebabkan pengawas belum terprogram dalam melakukan kepengawasan hanya sebagai kewajiban dan kurang memotivasi guru 3) sarana prasarana disebabkan kurangnya perhatian dan pembinaan dari pengawas sekolah terhadap guru dalam pemanfaatan sarana.

This study is aimed to know factors that affect the implementation of academic supervision by school supervisor at Public Senior High School of Bontang City. This study applied quantitative approach to know factors that affect the implementation of academic by school supervisor at Public Senior High School at Bontang City. Dependent variable is the implementation of academic supervision by school supervisor. The number of population is 60 teachers who have ever been supervised by school supervisor. Sample is taken from all the entire population so that this study is population study. Statistic analysis which is used is factor analysis and multiple regression analysis using stepwise method.

The result of the study shows that there's one factor which affects the implementation of academic supervision by school supervisor significantly namely factor of educational evaluation competence of school supervisor that is 0,210. Three factors which cannot affect namely: 1) teacher professional competence, which is because of the lack of supervision towards teachers in implementing the theory of learning, method and instructional media when teaching and learning process happened, 2) personal competence of school supervisor, that is because of the lack of program design in doing the supervision which is just as the obligation and the lack of teacher's motivation 3) school facilities, that is because of the lack of attention and supervision by school supervisor towards teachers in utilizing the facilities as well."

AbstractResults of research conducted Minarli (2008) and the data presented Kuswanto(2010) which showed that the performance of Schools Supervisor in City III Cirebon and varying the frequency of visits Schools Supervisor to school are the basis for formulation of research problems. Two problem ofresearch are some gaps of Schools Supervisory role in improving the quality ofschool education in Cirebon City and what efforts are made to eliminate the gaps.The method used in this study is mixed methods sequential explanatory. Theresults indicate some gaps between the expected role undertaken by the Schoolsupervisor as a developer of people, curriculum developers, administrators, managers ofchange and evaluators. Efforts should be made to eliminate the gaps are (1) improve stakehodres commitment to the role, duties and functions of each,(2) redesign of scheduling visits to schools by the School Supervisor, (3)designing a more operational rules that can be overaching and adjust thesupervisory system, (4) increasing the competence Supervisory School through anongoing program of activities and (5) Disdik Cirebon City and SchoolsSupervisor follow up the supervisory evaluation results."

Cara mengumpulkan data mengenai supervisi akademik, profesionalisme guru, dan kualitas pembelajaran dengan menyebarkan kuesioner tertutup terhadap 125 responden sampel. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif berupa skor dalam bentuk skala interval. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan regresi dan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan dari supervisi akademik terhadap profesionalisme guru pada SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu Wilayah Barat, (2) terdapat pengaruh yang sedang dan signifikan dari supervisi akademik terhadap kualitas pembelajaran pada SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu Wilayah Barat, (3) terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan dari profesionalisme guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran pada SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu Wilayah Barat, (4) terdapat pengaruh secara simultan dan signifikan dari supervisi akademik dan profesionalisme guru terhadap kualitas pembelajaran pada SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Indramayu Wilayah Barat.

There are four main problems in this study, namely (a) whether the academic supervision affect the professionalism of teachers, (b) whether the academic supervision affect the quality of teaching, (c) whether the professionalism of teachers affects the quality of teaching, (d) whether the academic supervision and professionalism of teachers affects the quality of learning. This study aims to determine the influence academic supervision conducted by the schools superintendent and teachers profrsionalisme to the quality of learning at SMK in the Western District Indramayu. The way of collecting data on academic supervision, teacher professionalism, and quality of learning by distributing closed questionnaires to 125 respondents. The data obtained in this study is quantitative data with interval scale. Regression and path analysis are employes to analyze the data.

The of research findings can be concluded the following findings: (1) there is a strong and significant influence of the academic supervision to the professionalism of teachers at SMK Indramayu District Western Region, (2) there is a moderate and significant influence of the academic supervision to the quality of learning in SMK Indramayu District Western Region, (3) there is a strong and significant influence of the professionalism of teachers to the quality of teaching at SMK Indramayu District Western Region, (4) there is a simultaneous and significant influence of academic supervision and professionalism of teachers to the quality of learning at SMK in the Western District Indramayu."

"Bidang pendidikan merupakan suatu hal yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Namun harus diakui bahwa mutu pendidikan di Indonesia ternyata masih rendah. Rendahnya mutu pendidikan ini salah satu penyebabnya adalah kinerja guru yang rendah dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah terhadap kinerja guru rintisan sekolah menengah atas bertaraf internasional di provinsi lampung. Berdasarkan tujuannya penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksplanatif, karena ingin menjelaskan hubungan pola-pola yang berbeda tetapi ada keterkaitan serta menghasilkan pola hubungan sebab akibat. Dalam penelitian ini kegiatan supervisi akademik dianggap sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan Kinerja Guru (Y) sebagai variabel terikatnya. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif (campuran). Hal ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi lebih dalam mengenai data yang tidak bisa diperoleh hanya melalui kuisioner. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan metode survey menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara mendalam. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, Metode ini digunakan karena dalam pemilihan sampel survey akan diberikan kriteria bahwa sampel yang dipilih adalah guru-guru yang sudah pernah mendapatkan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah. Pemberian kriteria ini bertujuan agar guru yang dipilih sebagai sampel benar-benar mengetahui atau memahami topik penelitian ini. Jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat signifikansi 7,25% diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang guru. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi liniear sederhana untuk mencari pengaruh supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana disimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Adapun secara simultan dimensi-dimensi dari variabel bebas supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap dimensi perencanaan dan persiapan, lingkungan kelas, pengajaran, dan tanggung jawab profesionalisme dari variabel terikat kinerja guru. Tetapi jika secara parsial dimensi-dimensi dari variabel supervisi akademik oleh pengawas sekolah, hanya dimensi pendekatan kolaboratif yang berpengaruh terhadap dimensi pengajaran pada variabel kinerja guru.

Education is a very important thing for both state and nation. However, it must be recognized that the quality of education in Indonesia still very low, and one of the causes is the low performance of teachers in managing the learning process. This study is aimed at determining The effect of academic supervision by the supervisor to the teachers performance of the pilot senior high school of international standardn in lampung province. This study is based on the research objectives in explanative, because it wanted to explain the relationship of different patterns, but there is a relationship and to produce the pattern of causal relationships.

In this research, academic supervision activities are considered as the independent variable (X) and the teacher performance (Y) as the dependent variable. Research data collection techniques were conducted by using a combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques. This is done to obtain more information on data that can not be obtained only through a questionnaire. While the data collection method used in this study is a survey method using questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Sampling techniques in the study was the purposive sampling method used, because the survey sample selection criteria was based on samples of teachers who had never received academic supervision by school inspectors. The provision was intended as the criteria chosen as a sample of teachers who would understand the purpose of this research. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with a significant level of 7.25% obtained form total sample of 100 teachers. Statistical analysis used a simple regression analysis liniear method to determine the influence of the academic supervision of teacher performance.

Based on the results of the linear regression analysis, it is concluded that the academic supervision by a school superintendent has a significant effect on teacher performance. The simultaneous dimensions of the independent variable of academic supervision by a school superintendent, therefore has significant influence on planning and preparation, classroom environment, teaching, professionalism and responsibility of the dependent variable of teacher performance. But if the partial dimensions of the variable of academic supervision by school inspectors, only the collaborative approach dimensions that affect to the variable dimensions of teaching performance of teachers."

"Tesis ini menggambarkan seberapa besar pengaruh supervise pengawas sekolah dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi professional akademik guru. Tesis ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi ganda dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mempunyai pengaruh yang lebih besar daripada supervise pengawas sekolah terhadap kompetensi professional guru.Faktor pengaruh yang diberikan mencapai 43 persen selebihnya berupa factor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pengawas pada saat melakukan supervise lebih baik menekankan pemberian keterampilan kompetensi akademik dari pada pengetahuan. (seperti; penyusunan rencana pembelajaran, penguasaan metode pembelajaran atau teknik penyusunan evaluasi dan analisis hasil)Kepala sekolah agar lebih sering memberi motivasi guru agar mau meningkatkan kompetensi professional akademik melalui diskusi ilmiah maupun seminar-seminar.

This thesis describes the influence of schools supervisor of and the principal's leadership toward academic professional competencies.This thesis uses multiple regression analysis method with quantitative approach.The results of this study found that school leadership has more influence than the supervising superintendent of schools on teachers' professional competence. The significancy of the influence up to 43 percent and the other factors that are not described in this study.

Based on the result of this study recommends that the supervisors at the time of supervision better emphasize the skills of academic competence than on knowledge. (such as preparation of lesson plans, mastery learning methods or techniques of evaluation preparation and analysis of results). The principal should motivate the teachers more often the professional competence through the discussion of scientific and academic seminars."

"ABSTRAKSupervisi akademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah mempengaruhikinerja guru. Kinerja guru menentukan keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Pentingnya persiapan mengajar dengan desain RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran) yang meliputi pembukaan, kegiatan inti dan evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan proporsi yang akurat serta menggunakan media yang modern dan metode yang variasi sehingga mengurangi kejenuhan siswa dalampembelajaran.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan dan pengaruh antara supervisi akademik dengan kinerja guru pada jenjang SMA Negeri di Guligas 2 Sliyeg Kabupaten Indramayu, Jawa Barat pada tahun 2011. Analisis ini dilandasi teori Amatembun (1981) dan Alfonso, Farith, serta Novella (1981) yang isinyabahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru diantaranya adalah supervisiakademik yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatif dengan pendekatankuantitatif dan kualitatif (mix method). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana.Hasil uji korelasi dan regresi bahwa variabel bebas (supervisi akademik) dalam penelitian ini ada hubungan dan mempengaruhi variabel terikat (kinerja guru) secara signifikan sebesar 58,8% di Guligas 2 Sliyeg.

AbstractAcademic supervision done by the shool principal influenced teachers performance. Teachers performance determined teachers success in teaching learning process. The importance of teachers preparation in teaching by using lesson plan : opening, core activity and evaluation done by using accurate proportion and various methods to avoid students' boredom in learning.The purpose of the research is to analyze the correlation and influence between academic supervision and teachers performance at SMA Negeri Guligas 2 Sliyeg, Indramayu West Java in 2011. The analisys was based on Amatembun theory (1981), Alfonso, Farith, and Novella (1981) said that the factor which influence teachers performance was academic supervision done by the school principal.The research is eksplanative research with quantitative and qualitative approach (mix method). The tecnique of data gathering was through questionaire, interview and observation then analyzed by simple regression analisys technique.The result of correlation and regression analisys show that independent variable (academic supervision) has the correlation and significantly influence the dependent variable (teachers performance) about 58,8% in Guligas 2 Sliyeg."
