"Tesis ini membahas pengaruh Work Family Conflict WFC , Family Work Conflict FWC dan stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasi di lingkungan Sekretariat Kabinet RI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis jalur menggunakan Lisrel 8.7. metode pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lingkungan Sekretariat Kabinet dengan mengambil sampel sebesar 205 responden yang terdiri dari pejabat eselon III, pejabat eselon IV dan staf.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa WFC, FWC dan stres kerja memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil berikutnya menunjukkan bahwa FWC dan stres kerja meiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi namun WFC tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. WFC memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi apabila dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja.
Penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat mengikutsertakan berbagai Instansi Pemerintah sebagai populasi penelitian dan penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat mengukur dampak WFC dan FWC terhadap tiga aspek komitmen organisasi secara terpisah, yakni komitmen afektif, komitmen kontinuan dan komitmen normatif.

This thesis discusses the influence of Work Family Conflict WFC , Work Family Conflict FWC and work stress on job satisfaction and organizational commitment within the Secretariat of the Cabinet Affairs. This research is quantitative analysis using the path lisrel 8.7. sampling method using a convenience sampling technique. This research was conducted within the Secretariat of the Cabinet of the Republic of Indonesia by taking a sample of 205 respondents consisting of echelon III, IV echelon officials and staff.
Results from this study indicate that the WFC, FWC and work stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. The next result shows that the FWC and work stress has particularly negative and significant effect on organizational commitment but WFC does not have a significant impact on organizational commitment. WFC has a significant influence on organizational commitment when mediated by job satisfaction.
The next study is expected to involve the various government agencies as a population study and subsequent research is expected to measure the impact of WFC and FWC on three separate aspects of organizational commitment, the affective commitment, continuant commitment and normative commitment.

"Penelitian ini membahas dampak work family conflict dan family work conflict terhadap komitmen organisasi yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja pada Instansi Pemerintah Alpha. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) yang diolah menggunakan software LISREL 8.80. Sebanyak 328 responden yang lolos screening pada Instansi Pemerintah Alpha telah berpartisipasi
dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, family work conflict memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja memediasi pengaruh antara work family conflict dan family work conflict terhadap komitmen organisasi, work family conflict memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, dan family work conflict memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi.
This study discusses the impact of work family conflict and family work conflict on organizational commitment mediated by job satisfaction at Alpha Government Agencies. This research is a quantitative study using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method which is processed using LISREL 8.80 software. A total of 328 respondents who passed the screening at the Alpha Government Agency participated in this study. The results showed that work family conflict had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, family work conflict had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction mediated the effect between work family conflict and family work conflict on organizational commitment, work family conflict had a negative effect significant effect
on organizational commitment, and family work conflict has a significant negative effect

"Disertasi ini menganalisis pengaruh kontrol keluarga pada hubungan antara diversifikasi dan crash risk untuk perusahaan Asia Timur. Berbeda dengan perusahaan pada negara berkembang, perusahaan Asia Timur memiliki yang fitur unik, seperti struktur kepemilikan yang lebih terkonsentrasi dan dikendalikan oleh keluarga. Selain itu, perusahaan Asia Timur memiliki insentif untuk terdiversifikasi karena kondisi pasar eksternal yang kurang berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel perusahaan publik di enam negara Asia Timur dari tahun 2014 hingga 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diversifikasi dan kontrol keluarga berhubungan negatif dengan crash risk, sesuai dengan diversification capacity effect dan alignment effect. Terlebih lagi, kendali keluarga juga memperkuat hubungan negatif antara diversifikasi dan crash risk, mendukung risk reduction effect. Sebagai tambahan, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa dampak penguatan dari kontrol keluarga pada hubungan negatif antara diversifikasi dan crash risk dinyatakan melalui debt co-insurance channel dan bukan financial report opacity channel.

This dissertation examines the influence of family control on the relationship between diversification and crash risk among East Asian Firms. Unlike firms in developed economies, East Asian Firms have unique features, such as the ownership structure being more concentrated and commonly controlled by the family. Besides, East Asian firms have incentives to engage in corporate diversification due to less developed external markets. This study uses a sample of publicly listed firms in six East Asian countries from 2014 until 2019. The results show that diversification and family control are negatively associated with crash risk, supporting the diversification capacity and alignment effects. Moreover, family control strengthens the negative relationship between diversification and crash risk, supporting the risk reduction effect. In addition, this study also finds that the strengthening effect of family control on the negative relationship between diversification and crash risk is conveyed via the debt co-insurance channel rather than the financial report opacity channel."

"ABSTRAK
Family-work conflict (FWC) adalah salah satu bentuk inter role conflict yaitu
tekanan atau ketidakseimbangan peran, antara peran di dalam keluarga dengan
peran di pekerjaan. Salah satu dampak yang ditimbulkan dari family-work conflict
adalah penurunan hasil kinerja yang ditandai dengan indikator meningkatnya
absensi perawat perempuan diluar cuti tahunan dengan alasan ketidakhadiran
karena kepentingan keluarga.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui hubungan antara family-work conflict yang terdiri dari time-based
conflict, strain-based conflict dan behaviour-based conflict dengan kinerja pada
perawat perempuan di RSUD Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga.
Metode penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan sampel
sebanyak 78 responden perawat perempuan di bagian rawat inap. Hasil analisis
menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara time-based conflict (p-value 0,007),
strain-based conflict (p-value 0,007) dan behaviour based conflict (p-value 0,026)
dengan kinerja pada perawat perempuan di RSUD Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata
Purbalingga.

ABSTRACT
Family-work conflict (FWC) is a form of inter-role conflict, namely the role of
stress or imbalance, between the roles in the family with roles in the job. One
impact of family-work conflict is characterized by reduction in performance with
increased absenteeism indicators female nurse outside absences due to leave the
family's interests.
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship
between family-work conflict consisting of time-based conflict, strain-based
conflict and behavior-based conflict with the performance of female nurses in
hospitals Dr. R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga. Methods This study uses
cross-sectional design with a sample of 78 respondents female nurse on the
inpatient. The results show there is a relationship between time-based conflict (pvalue
0.007), strain-based conflict (p-value 0.007) and behavior-based conflict (pvalue
0.026) with the performance of the female nurses in hospitals Dr. R.
Goeteng Taroenadibrata Purbalingga."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara work-life balance dan career advancement potential pada perempuan bekerja. Pengukuran work-life balance menggunakan alat ukur work-life balance yang dikembangkan oleh Fisher, Bulger, dan Smith (2009) dan pengukuran career advancement potential menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Heimler (2010). Berdasarkan data dari 87 perempuan bekerja di PT.XYZ, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara work-life balance dan career advancement potential (r=0,50, p< 0,05).

This research was conducted to find the relationship between work-life balance and career advancement potential among employed women. Work-life balance among employed women was measured by work-life balance measurement that developed by Fisher, Bulger, and Smith (2009), while career advancement potential among employed women was measured by career advancement potential scale that developed by Heimler (2010). Based on data from a sample of 87 employed women at PT. XYZ, result of this research revealed that work-life balance was positively significantly related to career advancement potential (r=0,50, p<0,05)."

"ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini membahas proses penerapan, hambatan dan tantangan dalam pembangunan on-site childcare yang dilakukan oleh Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan RI, serta manfaat dari adanya on-site childcare tersebut terhadap work-life balance pekerja perempuan di Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan RI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dari tahap perencanaan, hingga pembangunan on-site childcare, tidak terdapat masalah yang mengganggu jalannya pembangunan on-site childcare. Hal tersebut dikarenakan besarnya dukungan dari berbagai pihak yang membantu Divisi Umum, Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan RI untuk menerapkan family friendly policies dalam bentuk on-site childcare. Adanya on-site childcare ini memberikan banyak manfaat, tidak hanya bagi work-life balance pekerja perempuan, namun juga bagi organisasi dan anak yang dititipkan. 

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the process of implementation, obstacles, and challenges that occur during on-site childcare development phase carried out by Ministry of Manpower Republic of Indonesia, also benefit comes from the existence of on-site childcare towards female workers work-life balance in Ministry of Manpower Republic of Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. The results of this study concluded that from the planning stage to the development of on-site childcare, there were no obstacles that disrupted the course of on-site childcare development. This is due to the large support from various parties that helps General Division, Ministry of Manpower to implement family-friendly policies in the form of on-site childcare. In addition, the existence of on-site childcare provides many benefits not only for the work-life balance of female workers but also for the organizations and children entrusted."

"Skripsi ini ingin melihat pengaruh dari preferensi risiko dan preferensi waktu terhadap keputusan migrasi pada individu usia kerja di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan data cross-section dengan analisis data sekunder menggunakan regresi logistik dari Survei Aspek Kehidupan Rumah Tangga (SAKERTI) gelombang 5 (2014). Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa preferensi risiko dan preferensi waktu secara signifikan berkaitan dengan keputusan migrasi seseorang. Selain itu, terdapat faktor lain yang juga memengaruhi keputusan migrasi seperti faktor pribadi.

This thesis wants to look at the effect of risk preferences and time preferences on migration decisions among working age individuals in Indonesia. This research uses cross-section data with secondary data analysis using logistic regression from wave 5 (2014) of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS). The results of this study found that risk preferences and time preferences are significantly related with migration decisions. Apart from that, there are other factors that also affect migration decisions, such as personal factors."
