"ABSTRAKHeimat merupakan konstruksi sosial yang esensial bagi diaspora. Konstruksi tersebut mengikat diaspora dengan lingkungan yang dapat memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap proses identifikasi diri. Konstruksi Heimat terhadap diaspora dapat kita lihat melalui film dokumenter Yes, I Am, yang mengangkat kisah tentang konflik budaya yang dialami tiga pemusik Afro Jerman selama tinggal di Jerman serta bagaimana Reunifikasi Jerman mempertemukan mereka untuk bersatu melawan diskriminasi warna kulit dan ras yang masih terjadi di Jerman. Film ini sangat menarik karena terdapat lagu karya ketiga pemusik tersebut yang memvisualisasikan kisah hidup mereka. Konstruksi makna Heimat dalam film akan dianalisis berdasarkan beberapa adegan dan satu lagu dalam film dengan menggunakan teori circuit of culture Stuart Hall mengenai representasi dan identitas.hr>ABSTRACTHeimat is an essential social construction for the diaspora. This construction binds the diaspora to the environment which can have a major influence on the process of self-identification. We can see the Heimat construction on the diaspora through the documentary Yes, I Am, which raises the story of the cultural conflicts experienced by three German Afro musicians while living in Germany and how German Reunification brought them together to unite against the discrimination of skin color and race that still occurs in Germany . This film is very interesting because there are songs by the three musicians who visualize their life stories. The construction of Heimat's meaning in the film will be analyzed based on several scenes and one song in the film using Stuart Hall's circuit of culture theory of representation and identity."

ABSTRACTThe focus of this study is to show the way the white wedding concept manipulate

women as represented in a movie, titled Bride Wars. Using the semiotic theory of

Roland Barthes, some white wedding rituals and attributes in Bride Wars are

analyzed in order to find the denotative and conotative meanings within them.

From the analysis, it is shown that the connotative meanings or myths which lies

within the rituals and attributes manipulate the idea of wedding on women?s

minds. The myths unconciously put pressure in women?s mind so that women

follow the ideal standard of a wedding which is constructed by the myth.

Unfortunately, the pressure build some characters within women that causes

detriment to women."

"Skripsi ini membahas pengadaptasian Winnie the Pooh menjadi Vinni Pukhdengan tinjauan rusifikasi, dan makna dari perbedaan yang tercipta daripengadaptasian tersebut. Untuk membuktikan hipotesa digunakan teori adaptasidan semiotika dengan metode deskriptif-analitis. Hasil analisis menyimpulkanbahwa terdapat banyak perbedaan antara Winnie the Pooh dan Vinni Pukh, dimanasetiap perbedaannya memiliki makna yang dapat diinterpretasikan. AbstractThe focus of this study is to discuss the adaptation of Winnie the Pooh into VinniPukh through the russification analysis, and the meaning of the differences whichoccurs. To prove the hypothesis used the adaptation and semiotics theory and thedescriptive-analitics method. The results show that there are scad of differencesbetwixt Winnie the Pooh and Vinni Pukh, and each difference has a meaningwhich can be interpreted. Regarding those differences, it appears that Russia try torussificate Winnie the Pooh."

"Skripsi ini membahas novel dan film Crazy. Tujuan penelitian adalah membandingkan kedua karya untuk mengetahui persamaan dan perbedaan yang terdapat dalam novel dan film sehingga dapat terlihat perubahan yang timbul akibat ekranisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah struktural, dengan pendekatan intrinsik. Pertama-tama, yang dianalisis adalah novel, kemudian fiimnya. Setelah itu, kedua analisis tersebut dibandingkan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat persamaan antara novel dan film. Selain itu terdapat pula beberapa perbedaan, yang timbul baik akibat tuntutan media yang digunakan maupun interpretasi sutradara. Salah satu contoh perbedaan yang timbul akibat tuntutan media yang digunakan adalah penokohan Benjamin Lebert. Dalam novel, cacat tubuh Benjamin, digambarkan melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang tidak bisa dilakukan olehnya. Sedangkan dalam film, cacat tubuh Benjamin dapat dilihat melalui penampilan fisik pemeran tokoh tersebut. Perbedaan yang timbul akibat interpretasi sutradara dapat dilihat pada bagian alur. Dalam film terdapat peristiwa yang tidak terdapat dalam novel, yaitu saat terjadi pertengkaran antara Benjamin dan Janosch. Sebaliknya, ada pula peristiwa yang terdapat dalam novel tapi tidak dalam filmnya, yaitu pertemuan dengan Sambraus Marek.

This thesis discusses the novel and film _Crazy_. The purpose of my research is to compare the novel and the film, in order to find out the similarities and differences that occur as a result of adaptation. The structural method and intrinsically approach are used in this thesis. First of all, the novel is analysed and then the film. Afterward those both analysises are compared. My research proved that there are some similarities as well as differences that occur as a consequence of adaptation. The differences ensue because of the requirements of the medium and also the film director_s interpretation. An example of the difference that occurs caused by the medium requirement is characterization of Benjamin Lebert. In the novel, Benjamin_s physical handicap described with some activities, which are not able to be done by him, while in the film this can be seen by the physical appearance of the actor. The difference which occurs caused by the film director_s interpretation can be seen from the film_s plot. In the film there is occurrence, which doesn_t exist in the novel, that is the quarrel between Benjamin and Janosch. On the other hand, there is also occurrence in the novel, which doesn_t exist in the film, for example is the meeting with Sambraus Marek."
