"Pemimpin dan kepemimpinan merupakan diskursus antara ideologi dan budaya. Diskursus tidak hanya terjadi dalam dunia nyata tetapi juga dunia virtual seperti dalam forum komunitas online. Dengan menggunakan konsep kepemimpinan timur dan barat, dan metode netnografi dalam diskursus teks, kajian ini menemukan adanya kategorisasi level netizen dalam memberi komentar atau pendapatnya. Kepemimpinan transaksional lebih dipilih ketimbang kepemimpinan transaksional oleh netizen kaskuser. Pemimpin yang melakukan perubahan dan berorientasi bekerja dengan dilengkapi dengan aksentuasi ketimuran merupakan gambaran ideal versi komunitas forum online. Walaupun demikian harapan dan keinginan anggota forum komunitas online yang terbagi berdasarkan level netizen versi Kozinet belum tergambarkan dengan baik berdasarkan level atau kategori berdasarkan versi pengelola forum komunitas online.Leader and leadership states between ideological and cultural discourses. These discourses are not only occurred in the real world but also in the virtual world particularly in an online communitu forum. By using East and West leadership concepts and netnography method in text discourses, this study finds that there is netizen level categorization in giving comments and opinions in the forum. Transactional leadership is prefered by Kasku~er netizen than transformational leadership. Leader who makes a change, work oriented, and has the East accent, is idealfigure of online commuity forum. Although, expectation and need offorum online community member which are decided into Kozinets netizen level, are not depicted according to level of observed online community forum."

"Studi ini melihat bagaimana peran Civil Society Organisation CSO dalam partisipasi politik khususnya pada publikasi isu RUU pemilu di DPR. pada studi sebelumnya telah dijelaskan bagaimana e-demokrasi telah membawa partisipasi politik pada level berikutnya, yaitu di media sosial. Hal ini menuai gejala baru dimana media sosial menjadi suatu ruang yang digunakan dalam partisipasi politik. Kebaruan dalam artikel ini adalah bagaimana CSO memafaatkan lsquo;ruang rsquo; tersebut untuk turut berperan dalam e-demokrasi, khususnya pada pengawalan dan publikasi rapat mengenai isu RUU pemilu yang dibahas oleh DPR. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini, penulis ingin melihaat bagaimana peran independensi dalam peran wikiDPR sebagai CSO dalam upaya publikasi dan pengawalan rapat mengenai RUU pemilu yang dilakukan oleh DPR. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah wikiDPR sebagai salah satu CSO yang bergerak dalam bidang politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan internet mediated reaserch.

ABSTRACT This study talks about how the role of Civil Society Organisation CSO in political participation, especially on the issue of publication of the election draft law in Parliament DPR . Previous studies have described how e democracy has brought political participation at the next level, which is in social media. It is emerging new phenomenon where social media being a space that is used in political participation. Focus in this article is how the CSO utilize the 39 space 39 to contribute to e democracy, especially in the escort and conference publications on the issue of the election draft law RUU pemilu debated by Parliament DPR . Thus, in this study, the authors wanted to see how the role of wikiDPR as CSO and democracy actor in publicity the meeting of the DPR in election draft law issues. The object of this research is wikiDPR as one of the CSO engaged in politics. This study uses a qualitative method by using purposive sampling and internet mediated reaserch. "

"Penggunaan internet bermasalah dapat dipengaruhi oleh kepribadian individu. Fenomena fear of missing out yang baru muncul beberapa tahun terakhir diduga dapat menjadi mediator antara kepribadian dengan penggunaan internet bermasalah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh fear of missing out (FOMO) yang berperan sebagai mediator antara kepribadian dan penggunaan internet bermasalah. Sebanyak 182 partisipan telah mengisi secara lengkap skala kepribadian, FOMO, dan penggunaan internet bermasalah. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat mediasi parsial antara trait neurotis dengan penggunaan internet bermasalah yang dimediasi oleh FOMO. Kemudian, terdapat mediasi yang sempurna antara trait conscientiousness dengan penggunaan internet bermasalah yang dimediasi oleh FOMO.

Problematic internet use can be influenced by individual personality. Recently, there has been a phenomena that we called fear of missing out (FOMO). The internet user who tend to be FOMO may lead to problematic internet use (Przybylski, Murayama, DeHaan, & Gladwell, 2013). The phenomena of fear of missing out (FOMO) was presumed to be a mediator between personality and problematic internet use. The purpose of this study was to examine the  influence of fear of missing out as a mediator between personality and problematic internet use. One hundred eighty two emerging adulthoods participated in the study by completing personality scale, FOMO scale, and problematic internet use scale. As a result, the effects of neuroticism on problematic internet use scale can be parsial mediated through FOMO. The second result, the effects of conscientiousness on problematic internet use scale can be mediated through FOMO."

"Perkembangan internet di Indonesia telah mencapai 400 persen sejak tahun 2000 (kominfo.go.id, 2012) sejalan dengan itu, mendorong pertumbuhan penggunaan media sosial. Pengguna facebook yang mencapai 39 juta anggota (socialbakers.com, 2012) dan pengguna twitter hampir mencapai 30 juta anggota (semiocast.com, 2012). Penggunaan media sosial sebagai sarana kampanye politik pada PILKADA DKI Jakarta 2012 marak digunakan. Pasangan Cagub-Cawagub berasumsi bahwa kampanye di media sosial dapat meningkatkan perolehan suara, sementara dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan penulis urutan kepopuleran pasangan Cagub-Cawagub tidak sesuai dengan urutan hasil perolehan suara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kampanye politik di media sosial berpengaruh terhadap opini yang terbentuk pada PILKADA DKI Jakarta. Data di ambil dari pengguna media sosial dengan proses sampling sebanyak 278 pengguna. Perkiraan tingkat kesalahan pengambilan sample sebesar 6%. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 17 sebagai alat bantu mengolah data. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: No Show, On Lookers, New Comers, Cliquers, Mix-n-Minglers, Sparks, Kampanye Bersih, Kampanye Hitam, Kampanye Negatif.

Internet growth in Indonesia has reached 400 percent since 2000 (kominfo.go.id, 2012) along with it encourage the growth of social media usage. Facebook users has reached 39 million members (socialbakers.com, 2012) and twitter users approximately 30 million members (semiocast.com, 2012). Using of social media for political campaigns in Jakarta ELECTION 2012 rapidly adopted. Couple Cagub-Cawagub assume that campaigns in social media can be increase the number of votes meanwhile base on the observation that already taken, popularity of Cagub-Cawagub does not comply with the order of voting results. This research aimed to determine whether political campaigns in social media and its effect to opinion that making: case study Jakarta Election 2012. Data taken from social media users with the process of sampling as much as 278 users. Estimated sampling error rate in 6%. Data processing techniques using SPSS 17 as a tool for data processing. The variables used in this study are: No Show, On Lookers, New comers, Cliquers, Mix-n-Minglers, Sparks, Clean Campaign, Black Campaign, Negative Campaign."

"Kerangka dunia sosial neoliberal (Mahanani, 2022) membuat kasualisasi kerja terjadi besar-besaran. Hal ini mengakibatkan para pekerja mengalami kerentanan sehari-hari dan sistematis (Izzati, 2013). Pekerja di sektor kreatif merespon kerentanan ini dengan mengorganisasi diri melalui serikat pekerja. Dengan mengambil kasus SINDIKASI (Serikat Pekerja Media dan Industri Kreatif untuk Demokrasi), penelitian ini mengkaji praktik resistensi (Wiksell, 2020) pekerja. Menurut teori Wood (2015), resistensi pekerja salah satunya dilakukan melalui praktik digital. Oleh karena itu, kajian ini dilakukan terhadap strategi advokasi melalui media digital yang SINDIKASI lakukan, khususnya melalui media sosial Instagram @serikatsindikasi. Penelitian ini berargumen bahwa aktivisme digital menciptakan resistensi akan kerentanan korporasi dan fleksibilitas kerja yang dialami pekerja melalui unggahan akun @serikatsindikasi.

The framework of neoliberal social world (Mahanani, 2022) makes work casualization happen on a large scale. Hence, workers experience daily and systematic vulnerabilities (Izzati, 2014). Workers in the creative sector responded to this vulnerability by organising themselves through trade unions. Taking the case of SINDIKASI, this study examines the practice of worker resistance (Wiksell, 2020). According to Wood's (2015) theory, one of workers resistance’s form is through digital practice. Therefore, this study was conducted on the advocacy strategy through digital media that SINDIKASI did, especially through Instagram account @serikatsindikasi. This study argues that digital activism creates resistance from corporate vulnerabilities and work flexibility experienced by workers through @serikatsindikasi’s content."

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif (quantitative methods) dengan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 150 mahasiswa FISIP UI dari 8 departemen angkatan 2011-2014. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa bentuk kampanye di media sosial memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap partisipasi pemilih pemula pada pemilihan presiden 2014.

This research is purposely made for describing the influence between campaign president and vice president in social media on beginner voter participation of presidential election in 2014. This research used quantitative methods, which is questionnaire being used as research instrument. Thus, 150 students of FISIP UI, from 8 departments (2011-2014) were being sample in this research. The result of this research explained if campaign president and vice president in social media shows strong relationship with beginner voter participation of presidential election in 2014."
