"Keutuhan merupakan prasyarat utama sebuah karya sastra. Keutuhan karya ini sudah dipermasalahkan setidaknya sejak masa Aristoteles (tahun 322 Sebelun Masehi), seper_ti yang terlihat dalam konsepnya mengenai drama. Dalam tragedi (action), wholeness merupakan syarat utama untuk sebuah tragedi yang baik. Untuk mendapatkan efek tragedi yang baik, satu hal yang harus dimiliki ialah keutuhan cerita atau keseluruhan (wholeness) yang mencakup 4 syarat yaitu: aturan, kompleksitas, kesatuan, keterjalinan. Kon-sep ini kemudian digunakan juga dalam semua jenis karya sastra. Kemudian ahli sastra Agustinus, dalam konsepnya tentang keindahan juga menonjolkan pentingnya suatu tatanan tertentu dalam karya yang disebutnya ordo, yang bisa diartikan sebagai keutuhan."

"ABSTRAKArtikel ini merupakan sebuah penelitian yang menganalisis kelas kata penerjemahan adjektiva kualifikatif pada terjemahan cerita pendek la Venus d rsquo;Ille karya Prosper M rim e yang berjudul Venus dari Kota Ille. Cerita tersebut merupakan jenis cerita fantastik. Data penelitian ini adalah semua kata dari kelas kata adjektiva kualifikatif dari teks bahasa sumber Bsu yang mengalami pergeseran kelas kata. Data penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini memaparkan perubahan kelas kata dan perubahan makna yang ditemukan pada terjemahan adjektiva pada cerita pendek tersebut. Berdasarkan klasifikasi data, ditemukan 151 kata adjektiva kualifikatif. Hasil analisis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori dari Catford 1965 mengenai pergeseran kelas kata dan Leech 1981 mengenai analisis komponen makna, menunjukkan bahwa hanya 9 kelas kata adjektiva dari teks Bsu yang mengalami pergeseran kelas kata: 2 kata menjadi nomina dan 7 kata menjadi verba. Dalam hasil terjemahannya, proses pengalihan yang terjadi tetap mempertahankan bentuk adjektiva. Penerjemah berusaha mempertahankan salah satu ciri khas dari cerita fantastik yang kaya akan adjektiva.

ABSTRACTThis article is a research that analyzes the translation of qualified adjective found in the short story La Venus d 39 Ille in the translation, Venus dari Kota Ille, a fantastic genre narrative written by Prosper M rim e. The research data are all the words that are classified as qualified adjectives in the source language SL text that undergoes a shift of the word class in target language TL . The data in this research are collected by using literature study and analyzed through qualitative method. This research describe the change of word class and the change of meaning found in the translated adjective of the short story. Based on the data classification, there are 151 words of qualified adjective obtained from the TL text. The analysis rsquo s result using Catford 39 s 1965 theory of class and Leech 1981 theory on the analysis of the meaning component, indicates that only 9 classes of adjectives of the SL text experience a shift of word class 2 words became nouns and 7 words turn into verbs. The translation transfer process takes place while maintaining the form of the adjective. In addition, there are three adjectives that do not have the same overall components. Translator tries to preserve one of the characteristics in fantastic story which contains a lot of adjectives."

"Hingga saat ini, kumpulan puisi Midaregami (1901) karya Yosano Akiko cenderung dibahas dari unsur erotisisme. Namun, pembahasan ini hanya berfokus pada Bab Enji Murasaki yang menceritakan percintaan Akiko dan Yosano Tekkan, sehingga timbul kesan bahwa puisi Midaregami hanya membahas persoalan ketubuhan perempuan. Penelitian ini melihat bahwa pengalaman perempuan yang dituliskan Akiko dalam puisi Midaregami lebih dari sekadar persoalan ketubuhan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengalaman perempuan yang ditampilkan Yosano Akiko dalam Bab Shirayuri, bab yang mengangkat tema cinta segitiga dan persahabatan. Penelitian ini menganalisis gaya bahasa yang digunakan di dalam Bab Shirayuri dengan menggunakan teori gynocriticism oleh Elaine Showalter. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengalaman perempuan yang ditampilkan dalam Bab Shirayuri merupakan pengalaman yang utuh, karena tidak hanya mencakup ketubuhan melainkan juga kejiwaan.

Until today, research on Yosano Akiko's Midaregami (1901) poem collection tends to raise the issue of eroticism. However, this discussion only focuses on the Enji Murasaki chapter, which describes the romance between Akiko and Yosano Tekkan in a sensual manner. It gives an impression that poems within Midaregami only discuss the issue of female bodily experience. This article argues that the problem of female experience in Midaregami is more than just physical. This study focuses on Shirayuri chapter, a chapter with the theme of love triangle and friendship. This study analyzes the language style used in the Shirayuri chapter using the theory of gynocriticism by Elaine Showalter. This article concludes that the female experience presented in the Shirayuri chapter is a whole experience, covering both physical and psychological."

"Perkembangan seni bangunan di kota Bandung tidak terlepas dari campur tangan arsitek ternama asal Belanda, Prof. Charles Prosper Wolff Schoemaker. Ada sejumlah karya yang dihasilkan oleh Wolff Schoemaker, salah satunya adalah Masjid Besar Cipaganti. Masjid Besar Cipaganti merupakan salah satu bangunan yang dibangun pada masa kolonial Belanda tahun 1933 dan terletak di Jalan Raden AA Wiranatakusumah No 85, Bandung, Jawa Barat. Wolff Schoemaker membangun masjid ini dengan mengkombinasikan unsur seni bangunan khas Jawa Barat dan Belanda.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan unsur seni bangunan Jawa Barat dan unsur seni bangunan Belanda yang terdapat pada Masjid Besar Cipaganti. Unsur seni bangunan Jawa Barat terdapat pada atap bangunan, tiang saka guru, dan ragam hias. Unsur seni bangunan Belanda pada masjid ini dapat terlihat dari bentuk bangunan, material bangunan, lampu gantung, dan sekat pada teras utama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif.

The development of art building design in Bandung never stray far from the involvement of a famous Dutch architect, Prof. Charles Prosper Wolff Schoemaker. Among many of Wolff Schoemaker’s notable works, Masjid Besar Cipaganti is one of them. Masjid Besar Cipaganti is one of the buildings constructed in Dutch colonization period in 1933 and is located in Jalan Raden AA Wiranatakusumah No 85, Bandung, West Java. Wolff Schoemaker built this mosque by combining traditional West Java architecture with Dutch styles.

This research aims to describe West Java art building elements and Dutch art building elements that contained in Masjid Besar Cipaganti. The characteristic of West Java art building upon Masjid Cipaganti Bandung can be identified through the roof, tiang saka guru, and decorative patterns. Whereas the elements of Dutch characteristics characteristics can be identified from its construction, construction material, chandelier, and the separator between the main terrace. This research using qualitative method with aims to elaborate any specific elements of art buildings that founded within."

"Setelah lebih dari lima puluh tahun diterbitkan, Lolita karya Vladimir Nabokov tetap saja memesona. Dengan kekayaan bahasa dan topik kontroversialnya, Lolita melampaui anggapan banyak pembaca awam yang mengira bahwa ia hanyalah sebuah novel pornografik. Skripsi ini menganalisis Lolita dengan menggunakan Teori Nilai Polinomik dari Kelley L. Ross untuk melihat nilai-nilai yang terdapat dalam Lolita, yaitu nilai individu dan nilai normatif. Setelah kedua nilai diketahui, analisis dikembangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kedua nilai tersebut dalam kerangka teori nilai yang sama. Pada akhirnya, hubungan antar akedua nilai tersebut akan memaparkan pembacaan baru terhadap Lolita dan tokoh-tokohnya yang kompleks, yaitu sebagai tokoh-tokoh yang memiliki nilai-nilai individu dan hidup di suatu lingkungan yang memiliki nilai-nilai normatif tersendiri.

AbstractFifty years after it was first published in the United States, Vladimir Nabokov_s Lolita is still enchanting to its readers. With its literary richness and controversial topic, Lolita has gone beyond its first-time readers_ expectations of merely finding a pornographic novel out of it. This undergraduate thesis analyzes Lolita with the help of Kelley L. Ross_ Polynomic Theory of Values to see the values in Lolita, both individual values and normative values. After both kinds of values are discovered, further analysis is done to see the relationships between values, still with the help pf the same theory of values. Lastly, the relationships give a new reading to Lolita and its complex characters, the characters who live with their own individual values and in a society with its own normative values."
