"Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana koperasi sebagai organisasi melakukan strategi dalam menghadapi tekanan lingkungan dengan melakukan studi kasus di Koperasi Keluarga Guru Jakarta (KKGJ). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada beberapa pengurus KKGJ serta studi dokumen-dokumen sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa setidaknya ada tiga dimensi lingkungan organisasi disekitar KKGJ yang memberikan pengaruh dan menjadi perhatian saat ini, diantaranya dimensi hukum, ekonomi dan teknologi. Dampaknya KKGJ dihadapkan dengan Bank DKI sebagai kompetitor yang sangat kuat. Strategi yang dilakukan oleh KKGJ cenderung melakukan konformitas karena posisinya yang tidak memiliki kekuasaan untuk mengatur lingkungan eksternal. KKGJ berupaya untuk berkompromi (compromise) dengan hanya memenuhi sebagian tuntutan institutional.

This study discusses how the co-operative as an organization perform strategy in dealing with environmental pressure by conducting case study at Koperasi Keluarga Guru Jakarta (KKGJ). This study using qualitative methods, by conducting in-depth interviews with some KKGJ board and document study of secondary documents. The results of this study found that there are three dimensions of organizational environment around KKGJ that give influence and attention recently, legal conditions, economic conditions, and technological conditions. The impact is KKGJ faced with Bank DKI as a very strong competitor. The strategy undertaken by KKGJ tend to performs conformity because of its position which has no power to regulate the external environment. KKGJ attempts to compromise by only fulfilling some institutions pressures."

"The ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute commissioned a nationwide survey in Indonesia, called the Indonesia National Survey Project (INSP) to enhance understanding of economic, social, and political developments in Indonesia. President Joko Widodo's approval rating hovers at around 68 per cent, and respondents generally think that the President has made improvements to the economy, although there are concerns with the price of necessities and job-seeking prospects. The Widodo administration scores well in infrastructure development, which is its signature policy thrust. Roads, education and electricity supply remain the top priorities for respondents, while corruption is still considered the most important problem facing Indonesia today. Some key issues that have emerged during the Jakarta gubernatorial election, such as punishing blasphemy against Islam and voting a Muslim leader into office, receive significantly high support from respondents, suggesting that these issues have currency beyond Jakarta and the election. On the political front, state institutions, especially the Army, are more highly trusted than politicians. Key elements of Indonesia's political infrastructure, such as democracy, Pancasila, and decentralization are supported by an overwhelming majority of respondents. Indonesians identify strongly with Indonesia and consider traditional economic partners such as Malaysia, Japan, Singapore and ASEAN to be most important for Indonesia."

"Peran modal sosial yang dimiliki oleh komuniti RW 012 ternyata berperan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pelayanan administrasi, neighborhood management dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Ketidakadaan peran pemerintah dalam mengelola komuniti dari sisi sosial-budaya menyebabkan kemunculan agen perubahan yang bertindak menggantikan pemerintah dalam rangka meningkatkan solidaritas dan mutu pelayanan administrasi dan neighborhood management. Karakteristik sosial, budaya dan ekonomi masyarakat; sumber daya; dan aktivitas komuniti berperan penting dalam menentukan dasar neighborhood planning dalam rangka meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Keberhasilan komuniti menjadi pembelajaran bagi seluruh pemangku kepentingan untuk memanfaatkan modal sosial komuniti, membangun sistem administrasi pelayanan dan manajemen lingkungan yang berkelanjutan.

The social capital role in local community play an important role in improving quality administrative services, neighborhood management and community empowerment. Lack of government?s role in managing the local community in terms of socio-cultural planning, has led to ?agents of change? appearance who act as their local community leader to replace government presence to increase solidarity, quality of administrative services, and neighborhood management. Social, cultural, and economic characteristics; resources; and social activities in communities play an important role in determining the basis of neighborhood planning in increasing community participation. The success story from this local community become a lesson learned for related stakeholders to utilize social capital in every local community by generating a sustainable administrative, and neighborhood management system."
