"This study aims to understand the efforts of the forming of cadre on ‘Aisyiyah as a religious social organization that can survive until now. In the preliminary study, researcher found that the source cadre forming’s problem is exist inside the organization. This finding was bsed on the preliminary interviews to 7 ‘Aisyiyah’s daily managers for each level of managerial leaders in Jogjakarta. Furthermore, using a qualitative approach (intrinsic case study), this study is trying to explore data by interviewing 3 participants who represents three age cohort of the organization’s committees. The result of this study is that there are 2 kinds of cadres in the body of ‘Aisyiyah, namely natural and Instant cadre, and both of them have some particular psycho-demographic characteristics. Thus, this research will add our understanding in identifying problems about forming of cadres in the organization."

"Di seluruh dunia dan khususnya Indonesia, narasi radikalisasi agama menemukan ruang di internet. Di satu sisi, kemunculan internet mendorong partisipasi demokrasi karena dapat menjadi ruang bagi beragam anggota masyarakat untuk menyuarakan pendapat, namun di sisi lain juga memudahkan penyebaran paham yang anti terhadap demokrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka konstruksi sosial teknologi dalam melihat kontradiksi demokrasi dalam internet yang di satu sisimembentuk narasi yang mendukung demokrasi, namun di sisi lain juga membentuk narasi yang anti demokrasi. Selama satu dekade terakhir, pembentukan ruang bagi penyebaran paham Islam moderat berusaha menandingi radikalisasi agama, khususnya Islam, di internet. Penelitian ini mengenai konstruksi narasi Islam Nusantara yang dilakukan oleh organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama yang mendukung agenda demokrasi. Dengan menganalisis data hasil wawancara dan konten website NU Online-yang merupakan media online resmi dari organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama-penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana NU Online mengkonstruksikan narasi Islam Nusantara dalam memoderasi radikalisasi Islam di internet. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa NU Online mengkonstruksikan narasi Islam Nusantara dengan mempromosikannya secara spesifik serta secara implisit melalui konten yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai Islam Nusantara. Konten implisit NU Online yang mengandung narasi Islam Nusantara terbagi lagi ke dalam kategori yaitu kisah keteladanan tokoh Islam serta interpretasi konsep keislaman secara kontekstual.

Around the world and specifically Indonesia, religious radicalization narratives find space on the internet. On the one hand, the emergence of internet encourages democratic participation because it can be a space for various members of society to voice their opinions, on the other hand it also helps spread anti democratic ideology. This study uses social construction of technology in analyzing the contradictions of democracy in the internet which forms a narrative that supports democracy, but on the other side it can also form the anti democratic narrative. Over the last decade, the spread of the moderate Islamic understanding is trying to counter the radicalization of religion, especially Islam, on the internet.

This research is about the construction of Islamic Archipelago narrative conducted by Nahdlatul Ulama organization that supports the democratic agenda. By analyzing the data of interviews and content of NU Online which is the official online media of the Nahdlatul Ulama organization this study aims to see how NU Online constructs Islamic Archipelago in moderating the radicalization of Islam on the internet. The study found that NU Online constructed the narrative of Islamic Archipelago by promoting it specifically and implicitly from content that reflects the values of Islamic Archipelago. Implicit content of NU Online that contains narrative of Islamic Archipelago is divided into two category which are spreading inspiring of Islamic figure and interpretation of contextualized Islamic concept. "Pembangunan infrastruktur merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat. Akan tetapi, proses pembangunan yang berlangsung dapat memberikan perubahan kondisi sehingga memberikan efek terhadap kesejahteraan pada masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan sosial yang terkait dengan kesejahteraan di masyarakat nelayan, dan terjadi selama proses pembangunan Pelabuhan Kuala Tanjung berlangsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini mejelaskan bahwa proses pembangunan pelabuhan membawa perubahan sosial di bidang sosio-ekonomi, budaya, dan politik yang memberikan perubahan kondisi kesejahteraan masyarakat nelayan Desa Kuala Tanjung.

Infrastructure development is a way to improve the social welfare of the society. However, the ongoing development process can bring a change of conditions that effect the community's welfare. This study aimed to describe social changes associated with welfare in fisherman community, during the process of building the Kuala Tanjung Port took place. This research is a qualitative descriptive interpretative. The results of this study explain that the port development process brings social changes in the socio economic, cultural, and political fields that provide changes in the welfare conditions of the fisherman community of Kuala Tanjung."

"AbstrakThis study tries to describe how an application, called ASCA (Accumulating Saving & Credit Association) developed its mobile application on the Android platformfor empowering the poor. Microfinance has an important role in alleviating poverty, reducing income inequality and increasing economic growth. Community access to the formal financial system is only 52% of the total population, informal 31% and 17% of the population experience exclusivity unable to access the financial system. Based on the high level of poverty and the low access of the public to the financial system, WVI developed a savings group model, which is ASCA. Build upon monitoring and focused the discussion, the ASCA model proves to be a learning tool for the poor to save money, be disciplined to manage family finances, build good character of the borrower and change behavior in spending money. The application overcomes the weaknesses of manual recording, builds a transparent and independent information system, as well as records good financial footprint."
