"Konseling karier merupakan serangkaian kegiatan paling pokok dari bimbingan karier yaitu pemberian bantuan secara tatap muka kepada individu ataukelompok dalam hubungan profesional yang dilakukan oleh konselor (bersertifikat dan memiliki asosiasi) kepada konseli agar dapat menyesuaikan diri, memperbaiki tingkahlaku, membantu pencapaian tujuan, penentuan diri dan mengembangkan potensinya kejalur karier yang realistis.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran bimbingan dan konseling karier Pegawai Negeri Sipil di lingkungan Badan Kepegawaian Negara Pusat Jakarta dan bagaimana memberdayakan peran Bimbingan dan Konseling Karier dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling karier Pegawai Negeri Sipil di lingkungan Badan Kepegawaian Negara Pusat Jakarta.
Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah post-positivis karena berawal dengan menguji teori konseling karier, dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data kualitatif yaitu dengan wawancara mendalam (data primer) dan juga studi literatur (data sekunder) serta strategi triangulasi digunakan untuk validitas dan keabsahan data.
Hasil analisis bahwa Unit konseling karier BKN melakukan praktek konseling psikologis dan membantu kepada Pegawai yang mengalami masalah gangguan kejiwaan dan tidak terfokus pada layanan konseling karier sehingga perlu diluruskan persepsi dan batasan konseling karier itu sendiri dengan membangun struktur, arah dan tujuan konseling karier yang jelas kemudian memberdayakan peran Sumber Daya Manusia dalam memaksimalkan unit layanan konseling karier untuk mengatasi hambatan karier pegawai dan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi organisasi.

Career counseling is a series of activities the most basic of career guidance that is providing assistance in person to individuals or groups in a professional relationship conducted by counselor to the counselee in order to adapt, improve behavior, help meet the goals, self-determination and potential to develop realistic career path.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of guidance and career counseling for Civil Servants and how to empower the role of Career Guidance and Counseling in providing career guidance and counseling services for Civil Servants in the National Civil Service Agency (NCSA).
This research approach is post-positivist because it starts with career counseling theory testing, using the method of data collection in-depth qualitative interviews and literature as well as the strategy of triangulation is used for validity and validity of the data.
The results of the analysis unit career counseling in the NCSA practice psychological counseling and help to Employees who experience problems psychiatric disorders and not focused on service career counseling so that needs to be clarified perceptions and limitations of career counseling itself by building the structure, direction and purpose career counseling clear then empower the role of Human Resources in maximizing unit career counseling services to overcome barriers to employee career and can provide benefits to the organization.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai hubungan antara adaptabilitas karir dan prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Pengukuran adaptabilitas karir menggunakan modifikasi dari Career Issues Survey milik Creed, Fallon dan Hood (2008). Untuk pengukuran prestasi akademik menggunakan indeks prestasi yang diraih oleh partisipan. Partisipan berjumlah 158 mahasiswa yang memiliki usia remaja, 18-19 tahun.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara adaptabilitas karir dengan prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa (r = 0.177; p = 0.026, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.05). Artinya, semakin tinggi adaptabilitas karir yang dimiliki seseorang, maka semakin tinggi prestasi akademik yang ia miliki. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, seseorang perlu diintervensi dalam hal adaptabilitas karir agar ia memiliki kemantapan dalam tugas vokasional sehingga kesadaran akan pentingnya memiliki prestasi akademik akan tertanam sejak dini.

This research was conducted to find the correlation between career adaptability and academic achievement among students. Career adaptability was measured using a modification of Career Issues Survey from Creed, Fallon and Hood (2008). For academic achivement was measured using grade point average (GPA) index reached by the participants. The participants of this research are 158 students who have adolescent ages around 18-19 years old.
The main results of this research show that career adaptability positively correlated significantly with academic achievement (r = 0.177; p = 0.026, significant at L.o.S 0.05). That is, the higher career adaptability of one?s own, the higher having academic achievement. Based on these results, someone needs to intervened in the career adaptability, so they will have a readiness in vocational tasks, so that they will understand the importance of having an academic achievement.

"ABSTRACT
Pengambilan keputusan karir tidak hanya penting bagi siswa, karena karyawan juga dihadapkan dengan berbagai keputusan karir. Berbagai keputusan karir dapat menyebabkan keragu-raguan karir, yang kemudian dapat mempengaruhi karyawan secara negatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran neuroticism dan extraversion dalam memprediksi keragu-raguan karir pada karyawan. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah karyawan berusia 22-44 tahun yang telah bekerja untuk perusahaan setidaknya enam bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa neuroticism memiliki efek positif yang signifikan (B = .19, SE B = .066, p <.01), sedangkan extraversion memiliki efek negatif yang signifikan (B = -.21, SE B = -. 229, p <.01) dalam memprediksi keragu-raguan karier. Temuan ini dapat berguna untuk memperkaya literatur yang ada di sekitar keragu-raguan karir, extraversion, dan neuroticism.

ABSTRACT
Career decision making is not only important for students or students, because employees are also faced with various career decisions. These career decisions can trigger career doubts or career indecision, which can then have a negative impact on employees. This study aims to look at the role of neuroticism and extraversion in predicting career indecision of employees. The participants of this research are employees aged 22-44 years and have worked at the company at least six months. The results of this study indicate that neuroticism has a significant positive effect (B = .19, SE B = .066, p <.01), while extraversion has a significant negative effect (B = -.21, SE B = -.229, p <.01) in predicting career indecision. These findings can be useful to enrich the existing literature around career indecision, extraversion, and neuroticism."
