"Film merupakan sarana media massa untuk menyampaikan pesan, kritikan atau pemikiran yang ingin disampaikan melalui penggambaran dalam film. Banyak film yang mengangkat cerita mengenai sebuah kebudayaan lampau atau sejarah masyarakat yang sekarang mulai ditinggalkan oleh masyarakatnya. Film Snow Flower and The Secret Fan adalah salah satu film yang menggambarkan kebudayaan masyarakat terutama perempuan Hunan, Cina pada masa lampau. Perempuan Hunan pada masa lampau mempunyai budaya yang istimewa yaitu menulis Nǚshū di atas kipas. Melalui pendekatan unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik film, penulis akan menjelaskan dan menganalisis sejarah mengenai Nǚshū serta kaitannya dalam film tersebut.

Many films tell the story of a past culture or history of society that is now beginning to be abandoned by the people. The movie Snow Flower and The Secret Fan is one of the films depicting the culture of society especially Hunan women in China in the past. Hunan women in the past have a special culture of writing Nǚshū on a fan. Through an intrinsic and extrinsic film approach, the author will explain and analyze the history of Nǚshū and its links in the film."

Film Snow Flower and The Secret Fan ini berlatarkan dua periode waktu yang berbeda, yaitu di Hunan tahun 1829 dan Shanghai tahun 2011. Film ini mengisahkan tentang kehidupan perempuan Tiongkok dalam periode waktu yang berbeda. Makalah ini membahas mengenai status sosial perempuan Tiongkok pada tahun 1829 di Hunan dan tahun 2011 di Shanghai yang direpresentasikan dalam film.

"Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi reminiscence dan psikoedukasi keluarga terhadap penurunan kondisi depresi (harga diri rendah, ketidakberdayaan, keputusasaan, dan isolasi sosial) dan peningkatan kualitas hidup lansia di Katulampa Bogor. Desain quasi eksperimental pendekatan pre test ? post test with control group. Populasi penelitian adalah lansia depresi di Katulampa Bogor, jumlah responden 72 orang (intervensi 36 orang dan kontrol 36 orang) yang dipilih secara random. Alat pengumpul data adalah kuesioner pengukuran skala depresi dan kuesioner quality of life WHO yang dimodifikasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada penurunan yang bermakna kondisi depresi, ketidakberdayaan, keputusasaan, isolasi sosial ( p-value < 0,05), dan peningkatan yang bermakna pada harga diri dan kualitas hidup (p-value < 0,05) antara kelompok yang mendapat terapi reminiscence dan psikoedukasi keluarga dibandingkan dengan kelompok yang hanya mendapat psikoedukasi keluarga. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya melihat karakteristik caregiver terhadap penurunan depresi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia.

The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of reminiscence therapy and family psycho education take effects on decreasing the state of depression (low-self esteem, helplessness, hopelessness, and social isolation) and also how it effects to the life quality increasement of the elderly that live at Katulampa, Bogor. Quasi experimental design, pre test ? post test approach with control group. The population for this research is the depressed elderly who lived in Katulampa, the quantity of the respondents is 72 randomly selected persons (36 persons is under interventioned state and 36 persons is under a controlled state). The data collecting tool that is used in this research is the depression scale measurement questionnaire and the modified WHO's quality of life questionnaire.

The data is analyzed using a t-test method, and the result indicates that there are some significant decrease on the state of depression, low-self esteem, helplessness, hopelessness, and social isolation (p-value < 0,05), and also a significant increase on the self esteem and life quality (p-value < 0,05) between the group that has both reminiscence therapy and family psycho education compared to the group that only have family psycho education. The recommendation for further research is to see the caregiver?s characteristics on decreasing the depression and to increase the life quality of the elderly."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi kelompok terapeutik lansia terhadap kemampuan adaptasi dan perkembangan integritas diri lansia di kelurahan Surau Gadang kecamatan Nanggalo Padang. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental. Jumlah sampel 30 kelompok intervensi dan 30 kelompok kontrol.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terapi kelompok terapeutik lansia meningkatkan kemampuan adaptasi lansia bermakna sebesar 78%, dan perkembangan integritas diri sebesar 61,04% (P-value < 0,05). Kemampuan adaptasi dan perkembangan integritas diri lansia yang mendapat terapi kelompok terapeutik lansia lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan lansia yang tidak mendapat

Purpose of this study was to examine effect of elderly therapeutic group therapy to adaptation ability and self integrity development in elderly at Kelurahan Surau Gadang, Kecamatan Nanggalo, Padang. Design of the study was quantitative with quasi experimental approach with control group. Each of group has 30 respondent.Study result showed that elderly therapeutic group therapy had significantly increased elderly adaptation ability until 78% and self integrity development until 61,04 % (p-value < 0,05). Adaptation ability and self integrity in elderly who got therapeutic group therapy were higher than who didn't. This study recommended to healthy elderly to increase adaptation ability and self integrity."
