"Ruang lingkup: Komputer telah diperkenalkan di tempat kerja sebagai alat komunikasi dan informasi sejak tahun 1960, dari tahun ketahun penggunaan komputer meningkat terus. Sejalan dengan itu timbul keluhan akibat pengaruh penggunaan komputer. Pengaruh yang langsung terhadap mata dikenal dengan kelelahan mata atau asthenopia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui prevalensi kelelahan mata di RS "X" serta faktor-faktor penyebabnya dan prevalensi kelelahan mata setelah dilakukan intervensi.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan uji klinik before and after dengan intervensi selama empat minggu pada sampel yang berjumlah 48 responden di RS "X". Intervensi pada penelitian ini adalah dengan pemberian eye break pada periode tertentu dan pemberian lampu baca dengan kuat penerangan 300 luks. Data penelitian didapat dari keluhan subyektif dan pengukuran amplitude akomodasi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan komputer selama dua jam terus menerus.
Hasil penelitian: Didapatkan prevalensi kelelahan mata pada pekerja komputer sebesar 95.8%. Setelah dilakukan intervensi, prevalensi menjadi 31.25%. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor penerangan yang kurang dad 300 luks pada meja baca dokumen, sedangkan faktor usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, jenis pekerjaan, lama bekerja dan faktor kesilauan tidak terbukti menjadi faktor risiko untuk terjadinya kelelahan mata. Perubahan yang terjadi setelah intervensi adalah bermakna (p = 0.000).
Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian mendapatkan adanya perubahan yang berrnakna kelelahan mata yang terjadi sebelum dan sesudah intervensi.

Effect to Decrease Eye Fatigue on Workers Using Computers at "X" Hospital Scope: Computers at workplace as means of communication have been introduced since 1960. The use of computers has increased year by year. In accordance with this, complaints due to negative impact of using computers rise. Direct influence on eyes is eye fatigue or asthenopia. The goal of this study, is to find the prevalence of eye fatigue at "X" Hospital with its casual factors before and after intervention.
Methodology: This study used before and after trial test with intervention for four weeks on 48 respondents at "X" Hospital. The intervention in this study is by giving eye break at certain period and reading lamp with 300 lux illumination. The data were obtained from subjective complaints and measurements of accommodation amplitudes before and after using computers for two hours continuously.
Results: The prevalence of eye fatigue on computer workers is 95.38%. After intervention, the prevalence becomes 31.25%. The factor influencing this study is lighting factor on reading-document table, which is less than 300 lux. Age, sex, education background, kinds of occupation, length of work, and illumination factors are not significant risk factors to eye fatigue. The changes after intervention are significant (p=0.000).
Conclusion: This study found significant changes between eye fatigue before and after intervention."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko kelelahan mata. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat observasional dengan disain cross sectional. Sampel ini berjumlah 60 pekerja radar controller di PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Cabang Utama Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data dengan kuesioner, observasi dan pengukuran tingkat pencahayaan dan temperatur. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebesar 86,7% pekerja mengalami keluhan subjektif kelelahan mata. Dari variabel yang diteliti yaitu umur, masa kerja, gangguan penglihatan, durasi kerja, kekontrasan layar, tingkat pencahayaan dan temperatur ruang yang dihubungkan dengan kelelahan mata, hanya variabel temperature yang memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,013). Disarankan untuk pihak perusahaan untuk melakukan penyesuaian temperature di ruang kerja sesuai dengan rekomendasi ICAO Circular 241/93 dan peraturan Kepmenkes 1405/2002. Untuk pekerja pada saat break diharapkan melakukan stretching 10 menit atau dimanfaatkan untuk istirahat.

The purpose of this research is to know the risk factor that have related to eye fatigue. The design study of this research was observational with cross-sectional approach. The samples of this research was 60 radar controller workers in PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Branch Bandara Soekarno-hatta. And the sample is chosen by simple random sampling. Data were obtained by means of quesioners, observation and measurement illumination level and temperature.From the research result 86,7% workes complained of eye fatigue. From variable influencing this study is age, length of work, eyesight trouble, duration, contras display, illumination and temperature. Only temperature factor is significant risk factors to eye fatigue (p=0.013). It is recommended that the company to appropriated temperature level by recommended ICAO Cir. 241/93 and Kepmenkes 1405/20002. For the employess to decrease the eye fatigue, must do stretching 10 minute or provide rest time they break."

"Kelelahan Kerja adalah kondisi fisik atau mental yang terjadi pada pekerja dan berpengaruh negatif terhadap performa kerjanya. Skripsi ini membahas mengenai faktor- faktor yang berkontribusi menyebabkan terjadinya Kelelahan Kerja Subjektif pada petugas pemadam kebakaran Kota Bogor tahun 2019. Jumlah responden yang diteliti adalah keseluruhan populasi, yaitu 54 pekerja. Pengukuran kelelahan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan berupa gejala kelelahan yang bersumber dari Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 36 pekerja (66,6%) mengalami kelelahan ringan dan 18 pekerja (33,3%) mengalami kelelahan sedang. Desain Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Cross Sectional dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif (Chi-square) dan odd ratio untuk mengetahui derajat hubungan dua variabel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak adanya variabel yang memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap terjadinya kelelahan.

Work Fatigue is a physical or mental condition that occurs to workers and negatively affects their work performance. This study discusses the contributing factors for the occurrence of Subjective Work Fatigue in Bogor City firefighters in 2019. The number of respondents studied was the entire population, which is 54 workers. Measurement of fatigue using a questionnaire in the form of fatigue symptoms originating from the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) and the results showed that 36 workers (66.6%) experienced mild fatigue and 18 workers (33.3%) experienced moderate fatigue. The research design used was cross sectional using the quantitative method (Chi-square) and odd ratio to determine the degree of relationship between two variabels. The results of this study indicate the absence of variabels that have a significant relationship to the occurrence of fatigue.

"Tingginya kebutuhan manusia yang harus dipenuhi menyebabkan peningkatan produksi di berbagai sektor industri. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan memberlakukan sistem shift kerja. Penerapan sistem shift kerja ini berdampak kepada kelelahan pada pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kelelahan pada operator plastic injection di PT X. Faktor yang diteliti merupakan faktor karakteristik pekerja (umur, masa kerja, kondisi kesehatan, dan kuantitas tidur) dan faktor pekerjaan (shift kerja, waktu istirahat, commuting time, dan pekerjaan tambahan). Pengukuran kelelahan pada operator diukur dengan menggunakan Fatigue Severity Scale. Penelitian ini bersifat subjektif analitik dengan menggunakan desain studi cross sectional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa sebanyak 99 orang atau 46,5% pekerja mengalami kelelahan. Selain itu juga dapat diketahui bahwa masa kerja, kondisi kesehatan, dan kuantitas tidur mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kelelahan pada operator plastic injection. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengendalian terhadap kelelahan, baik dari pihak manajemen maupun operator itu sendiri.

Nowadays, the number of human need's demand is always tending to increase. In order to meet with that high demand of human needs, many industries try to increase their production activity supported by a shift work system. But in the reality, we almost find some complaint about a fatigue worker. This research aim to learn about several factors that causes a fatigue among plastic injection operator at PT X. That factors are divided into personal factors (age, years of services, worker's health condition, and a quantity of sleep) and work condition factors (shift system, break time, commuting time, and worker's second job). This research is using a subjective analytical method which is measured by a Fatigue Severity Scale with cross sectional design. The result of this research shows that 99 persons or 46.5% of plastic injection operator at PT X is experienced fatigue, and years of service, worker's health condition, and quantity of sleep factors are significantly related with the fatigue among plastic injection operator. Due to the result of this research, either the management of PT X or the workers itself have to manage that fatigue."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya kelelahan kerja. Jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan disain studi cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 58 pekerja di gerbang tol Cililitan PT. Jasa Marga cabang CTC yang dibatasi inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, data sekunder, observasi, dan pengukuran denyut nadi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 56,9% pekerja mengalami kelelahan tingkat ringan dan 43,1% mengalami kelelahan tingkat sedang. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu durasi kerja, pola shift kerja, beban kerja, waktu istirahat, lama tidur, kondisi kesehatan, dan gambaran workstation. Hasil analisis bivariat didapatkan ada hubungan signifikan antara beban kerja, waktu istirahat, dan lama tidur dengan kelelahan kerja. Disarankan untuk pihak perusahaan melakukan fatigue management guna mencegah dampak dari timbulnya kelelahan.

This study aims to determine the relationship factors that may influence the occurrence fatigue at work. Types of research is descriptive analytical with cross sectional study design. The sample in this study amounts to 58 workers at the toll collectors Cililitan gate PT. Jasa Marga CTC branch office that restricted inclusion and exclusion. Data were collected by questionnaires, secondary data, observation, and pulse measurement. The results showed that 56.9% of workers experienced low fatigue level and 43.1% experienced moderate fatigue level. The variable are duration of work, work shift patterns, work load, rest periods, length of sleep, health condition, and workstations. Results of bivariate analysis found there is significant relationship between work load, rest periods, and length of sleep with fatigue at work. Recommended for the company is created fatigue management in order to prevent the impact of the onset of fatigue."

"Tingginya persaingan antar perusahaan jasa angkutan travel dengan trayek Jakarta-Bandung, berdampak pada kurangnya perhatian perusahaan pada kondisi stamina pengemudi travel. Apabila kondisi ini terus bekerlanjutan akan menimbulkan kelelahan kerja. Berdasarkan fakta yang berkembang, kelelahan yang terjadi pada pengemudi dikarenakan pengemudi kerap bekerja diatas jam kerja yang seharusnya dan tidak mendapat penghasilan yang tetap. Untuk itu melalui penelitian ini penulis bermaksud untuk melihat terjadinya kelelahan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada salah satu perusahaan penyedia jasa angkutan travel yang ada di Jakarta dengan trayek menuju Bandung yaitu PT Batara Titian Kencana (X-Trans). Variabel yang diteliti, diantaranya dari faktor Internal (usia, IMT, kondisi fisik, dan masa kerja), Faktor eksternal (durasi mengemudi dan shift kerja), dan gejala-gejala kelelahan yang diukur berdasarkan Subjective Symptom Test (SST). Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif observasional dan menggunakan desain penelitian Cross-Sectional (potong lintang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas pengemudi X-Trans Jakarta, Tanggerang, dan Bekasi hanya mengalami kelelahan ringan dan hanya faktor kondisi fisik (kesehatan) dan masa kerja yang terdapat perbedaan proporsi dengan terjadinya kelelahan pada pengemudi travel X-Trans Jakarta tahun 2009.

The high competition among the transportation services Travel Company?s route from Jakarta to Bandung, made a lack of impact on the company's attention on the condition of drivers travel stamina. If this condition continues can made fatigue work. Based on the fact, fatigue that occurs because of drivers often work over work hours and that should not get a fixed income. Therefore, it is through this research the author intends to see the occurrence of fatigue and the factors that influence on one of the largest travel service providers who have transport in Jakarta, Bandung route towards the PT Batara Titian Kencana (X-Trans). Variables examined, including the Internal factors (age, BMI, physical condition, and the period of work), external factors (the duration of driving and shift work), and symptoms of fatigue are measured based on the subjective Symptom Test (SST). This research is quantitative observational and research design using a Cross-Sectional. Results of a research show the majority of drivers X-Trans Jakarta, Tanggerang, Bekasi, and only a mild reaction condition and the only physical factors (health) and the work that there are differences in proportion with the occurrence of fatigue on drivers travel X-Trans Jakarta in 2009."

"Faktor kelelahan merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran potensi kelelahan akut berdasarkan skala OFER dan jenis alat berat, menganalisa hubungan faktor work-related fatigue(durasi kerja, beban kerja dan shift kerja),faktor non-work-related fatigue(usia, status gizi, commuting time, jumlah jam tidur) dengan potensi kelelahan akut pada operator alat berat. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan April hingga Juli 2016 pada operator alat berat di area 1 tambang Bukit Karang Putih. Jumlah responden penelitian 50 orang. penelitian kuantitatif observasional, metode cross-sectional. Pengukuran kelelahan menggunakan kuesioner skala Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 48% responden mempunyai potensi kelelahan akut sedang, 44% potensi kelelahan akut pada operator dump truck, shift kerja mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan terhadap potensi kelelahan akut tinggi dan sedang (p value = 0.027). diharapkan PT Semen Padang memberikan edukasi tentang faktor risiko kelelahan pada operator alat berat.

Fatigue is one of the cause of accidents. The objective of this study is to examine acute fatigue potential based on a Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion Recovery (OFER) scale and types of heavy equipment, analyze the relationship between work-related fatigue (duration, workload and shift work), response to non-work-related fatigue (age, nutritional status, commuting time, the number of hours of sleep) with the occurrence of fatigue on heavy equipment operator. This research was conducted from April until July 2016 at heavy equipment operator in the mine area 1 Bukit Karang Putih. Number of study respondents 50 people. The study is observational quantitative research with cross-sectional method. Measurement of fatigue using a OFER scale and the results show that 48% of respondents experiencing moderate acute fatigue, 44% of dump truck experiencing high acute fatigue, shift has significant correlation with high and moderate acute fatigue potential (p value = 0.027). recomendation to company PT Semen Padang to provide education or training about risk factor fatigue to heavy equipment operator."

"Ground handling service merupakan bagian penting dalam operasional bandar udara. Airport taxiways, ramps, dan aprons merupakan lingkungan yang kompleks yang berpotensi membahayakan karyawan ground handling. Karyawan ground handling yang bekerja untuk memastikan ketepatan waktu dan operasional penerbangan berisiko mengalami kelelahan kerja.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi keluhan subjektif kelelahan kerja dan faktor risikonya pada karyawan ground handling, sekaligus mengidentifikasi faktor risiko yang paling relevan dalam memprediksi kelelahan kerja pada responden. Kuesioner yang telah divalidasi digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai keluhan subjektif kelelahan, faktor individu (jenis kelamin, usia, indeks massa tubuh, riwayat penyakit), faktor gaya hidup (durasi tidur, kualitas tidur, aktivitas fisik, kebiasaan merokok, kebiasaan konsumsi kafein), faktor terkait kerja (masa kerja, shift kerja, jam kerja, waktu istirahat), dan faktor psikososial (tuntutan di tempat kerja, kontrol terhadap pekerjaan, dukungan sosial di tempat kerja, kepuasan kerja, stress kerja, dukungan keluarga) dari 130 responden.
Penelitian ini mendapatkan skor rata-rata kelelahan kerja responden, yang diukur dengan kuesioner Checklist Individual Strength, sebesar 73,69 (standard deviasi 15,146; nilai min. 28 maks. 124). Analisis multivariat menggunakan regresi linier berganda menunjukkan kualitas tidur yang buruk (8,785; 95% CI 1,958 - 15,613), shift malam (5,576; 95% CI 0,987 - 10,165), shift siang/sore (6,177; 95% CI 1,617 - 10,738), tuntutan di tempat kerja (1,128; 95% CI 0,612 - 1,644), dan overcommitment (1,602; 95% CI 0,829 - 2,376) sebagai faktor risiko yang paling bisa memprediksi kenaikan keluhan subjektif kelelahan kerja pada karyawan ground handling. Sementara itu, durasi tidur (-3,171; 95% CI -5,375 - -0,967) dan kebiasaan merokok (-3,454; 95% CI -6,843 - -0,065) menjadi faktor protektif karena memiliki asosiasi negatif dengan keluhan subjektif kelelahan kerja.

Ground handling services are an essential part of airport operations. Airport taxiways, ramps, and aprons are complex environments potentially hazardous to ground handling crews or workers. Ground handling crews working at airports to ensure flight operation punctuality and arrangement are at risk of experiencing work-related fatigue.
This study was performed to evaluate subjective fatigue severity among ground handling crews and its risk factors, as well as to identify the most relevant risk factors in predicting fatigue. A validated questionnaire was used to obtain information on subjective fatigue, individual factors (sex, age, body mass index, fatigue-inducing illness history), lifestyle factors (sleep duration, sleep quality, physical activity, smoking habit, caffeine consumption), work-related factors (work tenure, shift work, work hours, resting time), and psychosocial factors (demand at work, control of work, social support at work, work satisfaction, work stress, family support) from 130 participants.
Average subjective fatigue score, measured using Checklist Individual Strength, was 73.69 (with standard deviation of 15.146, min. value of 28 and max. value of 124). Multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression showed that bad sleep quality (8.785, 95% CI 1.958 - 15.613), night shift (5.576, 95% CI 0.987 - 10.165), afternoon shift (6.177, 95% CI 1.617 - 10.738), demands at work (1.128, 95% CI 0.612 - 1.644), and overcommitment (1.602, 95% CI 0.829 - 2.376) as the risk factors that best predict the increase of subjective fatigue in ground handling crews. Meanwhile, sleep duration (-3.171, 95% CI -5.375 - -0.967) and smoking habit (-3.454, 95% CI -6.843 - -0.065) were found to be a protective factor from subjective fatigue since it is negatively associated with subjective fatigue.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan proporsi kelelahan fisik pada pekerja PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2015 di PT. X. Data diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner yang diisi secara mandiri, pengukuran antropometri, dan 24H food record dengan jumlah sampel 126 responden. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square untuk melihat perbedaan proporsi antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan proporsi antara asupan protein (P value =0,049), konsumsi air putih (P value=0,022), dan status merokok (P value=0,027) dengan kelelahan fisik. Sebaiknya perusahaan menyediakan botol untuk menampung urin, sehingga pekerja dapat mengukur warna urin dan mengetahui kecukupan konsumsi air putih selama bekerja.

This study aims to describe the proportional difference between fatigue, physical fatigue of worker in PT. X. This study is a quantitative study using cross-sectional study design. The data were collected in May-June 2015. The data were collected by using self-administered questionnaire, anthropometric measurement, and 24H food record involving 126 respondents. The data were analyzed using Chi-square test to describe the proportion difference between the independent variables and the dependent variables.
The result shows that t there are proportional differences between protein intake (P value=0,049), mineral water consumption (P value=0,022), smoking status (P value=0,027), and physical fatigue. The company is suggested to be more concerned regarding the menu in the canteen. Furthermore, the worker are suggested to be more active like increase their exercise frequency and routine by using the facilities in the company. The company should provide a bottle to accommodate the urine , so that workers can measure the color of the urine and aware of the sufficiency of white water consumption during work.

Fatigue pada pekerja merupakan sebuah risiko yang dapat timbul apabila suatu
pekerjaan dituntut untuk menggunakan tenaga fisik dan pikiran mental yang
berlebihan serta dituntut untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan dalam waktu yang terbatas
tanpa adanya waktu istirahat yang optimal. Fatigue merupakan risiko utama dari
pekerja shift seperti pada pekerja shift industri MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and
Overhaul) transportasi udara. Transportasi udara dituntut beroperasi selama 24/7 dan
memiliki kewajiban untuk memenuhi standar kelaikudaraan. Salah satu industri MRO
adalah Perusahaan ?X?. Bekerja dalam sistem shift menjadi sumber risiko fatigue bagi
pekerjanya karena bekerja bertentangan dengan irama sirkadian tubuh, oleh karena
itu dibutuhkan penilaian keluhan fatigue pada pekerjanya sebagai langkah awal
program fatigue management. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko
keluhan fatigue pada pekerja shift dan merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan
menggunakan disain studi cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan
Oktober-Desember 2015, di bagian Domestic & International Line Maintenance
Perusahaan ?X?, dengan sampel penelitian sebesar 105 responden. Hasil
menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara shift kerja (p=0,002),
kerja lembur (0,005), kuantitas tidur (p=0,048), dan commuting time (p=0,042)
dengan keluhan fatigue.
ABSTRACT
Fatigue among workers is a risk that can arise when a job is required to use execessive
physical and mental force to complete the work within a limited time without optimal
amount of rests. Fatigue is a risk that commonly occurs for shift workers, including
shift workers in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry for aircrafts
including commercial airlines. Air transportation operates for 24/7 dan has an
obligation to fulfill the standards of aircraft airworthiness. In doing so, one of the MRO
industry, Company ?X? develop a system of shift workers with standardized skills to
operate 24/7 for the sake of upholding the airworthiness of aircrafts and adjusting to
the flight schedules. Working in shifts is a risk to the workers, especially the risk of
being fatigue, because working in shifts forces them to work against their natural body
clock. In order to start the development of fatigue management program in Company
?X?, it is needed to assess the subjective feelings toward fatigue as a starting point.
ABSTRACT
This quantitative research is conducted to determine work related and non work related
factors toward the subjective feelings of fatigue with a cross sectional study design.
This research was done in October?December 2015 in the Domestic and International
Line Maintenance of Company ?X? with a total sample of 105 respondents. Results
showed that there is a correlation between work shifts (p=0,002), excessive working
hours (p=0,005), quantity of sleep (p=0,048), and commuting time (0,042) with
subjective feelings toward fatigue.;Fatigue among workers is a risk that can arise when a job is required to use execessive
physical and mental force to complete the work within a limited time without optimal
amount of rests. Fatigue is a risk that commonly occurs for shift workers, including
shift workers in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry for aircrafts
including commercial airlines. Air transportation operates for 24/7 dan has an
obligation to fulfill the standards of aircraft airworthiness. In doing so, one of the MRO
industry, Company ?X? develop a system of shift workers with standardized skills to
operate 24/7 for the sake of upholding the airworthiness of aircrafts and adjusting to
the flight schedules. Working in shifts is a risk to the workers, especially the risk of
being fatigue, because working in shifts forces them to work against their natural body
clock. In order to start the development of fatigue management program in Company
?X?, it is needed to assess the subjective feelings toward fatigue as a starting point.
