"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) merupakan salah satu sarana bagi calon apoteker untuk mendapatkan pengalaman kerja dan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang tugas dan fungsi Apoteker .Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Direktorat Bina Produksi Dan Distribusi Alat Kesehatan Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian Dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan dan gambaran mengenai kebijakan, pengawasan dan pengendalian alat kesehatan dan perbekalan kesehatan rumah tangga. Praktek Kerja Profesi di Apotek Atrika bertujuan mengetahui dan memahami peran dan tanggung jawab seorang apoteker di Apotek Atrika. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Apotek Atrika Jl. Kartini Raya No. 34A Jakarta Pusat. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di PT. Konimex Pharmaceutical Laboratories bertujuan untuk mengetahu peranan dan tanggung jawab penting Apoteker untuk menerapkan aspek?aspek yang tercantum dalam CPOB tersebut, antara lain sebagai penanggung jawab produksi, penanggung jawab pengawasan dan pemastian mutu.

"Pemerintah DKI Jakarta mendirikan Suku Dinas Kesehatan (Sudinkes) di setiap Kota Administrasi yang berada di DKI Jakarta, salah satunya adalah Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara. Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Utara mempunyai tugas melaksanakan pelayanan perizinan, perencanaan, pengendalian dan penilaian efektifitas pelayanan kesehatan serta memberikan pembinaan dan pengawasan terhadap sarana pelayanan kesehatan. Apoteker sebagai salah satu tenaga kesehatan juga memiliki peran penting dalam Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota khususnya dibidang Farmasi Makanan dan Minuman. Oleh karena itu, Apoteker perlu dibekali pengetahuan, pemahaman dan aplikasi tentang tata cara perizinan serta pembinaan, pengawasan dan pengendalian dari sarana pelayanan kesehatan tersebut. Kegiatan PKPA dilaksanakan pada tanggal 6? 22 Januari 2014 dengan tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan pengalaman mengenai peran profesi apoteker di Suku Dinas Kesehatan. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan sistem pelaporan penggunaan narkotika dan psikotropika (SIPNAP) dan peran Suku Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Utara dalam kegiatan pelaporan narkotika dan psikotropika.

Apothecary Profession Intership Program (APIP) activities held on 6th to 22th January 2014, with the aim to provide an overview and experience of the professional role of pharmacists in the Sub-Department of Health. While the purpose of the special task is to determine the development of Reporting Systems and the Use of Narcoticts and Psychotropic drugs (RSUNP) and the role of North Jakarta Health Sub-Department in reporting the activities of narcotics and psychotropic."

"Rumah sakit merupakan salah satu dari sarana kesehatan merupakan rujukan pelayanan kesehatan dengan fungsi utama menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan yang bersifat penyembuhan dan pemulihan bagi pasien. Pelayanan farmasi rumah sakit menjadi salah satu kegiatan di rumah sakit yang menunjang pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu. Apoteker merupakan tenaga kefarmasian yang memiliki kewenangan dan tanggung jawab untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan kefarmasian. Seiring perkembangan zaman, profesionalisme apoteker semakin diperlukan karena pekerjaan kefarmasian tidak lagi berorientasi pada produk semata (product oriented), tetapi berorientasi pada pasien (patient oriented). Perubahan orientasi pekerjaan tersebut menuntut apoteker untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang luas dalam melaksanakan pelayanan kefarmasian, baik dalam pengelolaan perbekalan farmasi maupun pelayanan farmasi klinik. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) dilakukan pada tanggal 10 Februari - 8 April 2014 di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Nasional (RSUPN) Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo untuk memahami tugas pokok seorang apoteker di rumah sakit, yaitu peran manajemen perbekalan farmasi dan pelayanan farmasi klinis. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah menampilkan kejadian dispensing error yang ditemukan di beberapa satelit farmasi di RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo selama kegiatan PKPA periode 17 Februari-2 April 2014.

Kegiatan PKPA dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 April - 16 Mei 2014 di Apotek Axia dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui secara langsung peran dan fungsi apoteker di apotek, baik dalam aspek pengelolaan teknis kefarmasian maupun non teknis kefarmasian di apotek. Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah untuk mengetahui hal-hal yang perlu disiapkan dan dilakukan pada saat akan mendirikan apotek baru.
