"Industri farmasi memiliki peran penting dan mengalami perkembangan selama pandemi. Peran penting industri farmasi untuk menyediakan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap suplemen, vitamin, dan obat sehingga daya tahan tubuh masyarakat meningkat. Dengan berkembangnya industri farmasi di Indonesia yang dapat memproduksi obat yang aman, berkhasiat, dan bermutu bagi masyarakat, sehingga derajat kesehatan masyarakat akan meningkat. Di dalam suatu industri farmasi terdapat banyak departemen, salah satunya departemen produksi, yang berkontribusi terhadap kecepatan penjualan produk, khususnya terkait cycle time produksi. Cycle time terdiri dari proses weighing, mixing, tableting/filling, coating sampai packaging (primer dan sekunder), yang pada setiap proses disertakan dengan dokumentasi berupa Batch Record. Cycle time produksi yang lebih singkat membuat lead time distribusi produk ke pasar yang lebih cepat. Hal ini perlu peran seorang apoteker untuk memantau dan memastikan cycle time semua produk di produksi sesuai batas yang ditentukan. Seorang apoteker perlu dibekali dengan wawasan, keterampilan, dan pemahaman komprehensif baik teori dan praktek secara langsung. Oleh karena itu, Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) diperlukan sebagai sarana pelatihan. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT. SOHO Industri Pharmasi Jalan Pulogadung No. 6 Jakarta, kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pengambilan data proses produksi setiap batch dari produk solid FitSB, IMEF, Imboost Force, dan Imboost Tab 4s selama bulan Juli-Agustus 2021, selain itu juga melakukan analisis proses produksi dan cycle time, melihat adanya temuan, serta pemberian saran untuk pencegahan dan perbaikan terhadap kinerja produksi.

A pharmacist needs to be equipped with insight, skills, and a comprehensive understanding of both theory and practice directly. Therefore, Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is needed as a means of training. Pharmacist Professional Work Practice is carried out at PT. SOHO Industri Pharmasi Jalan Pulogadung No. 6 Jakarta, the activities carried out are taking data on the production process of each batch of FitSB, IMEF, Imboost Force, and Imboost Tab 4s solid products during July-August 2021, in addition to also analyzing the production process and cycle time, seeing findings, as well as providing suggestions for prevention and improvement of production performance."
