"Praktik kerja profesi di Pemerintahan dilaksanakan di Direktorat Bina Pelayanan Kefarmasian Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia pada tanggal 21 September-2 Oktober 2015. Pelaksanaan praktik kerja profesi ini memiliki tujuan umum agar mahasiswa program studi apoteker memahami peranan, tugas, dan tanggung jawab apoteker di Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Republik Indonesia; memiliki pengetahuan tentang tugas pokok dan fungsi Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Republik Indonesia; memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan pengalaman praktis melakukan pekerjaan di pemerintahan; dan memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan kefarmasian di pemerintahan.

Profession internship in governmental institution is held at Direktorat Bina Pelayanan Kefarmasian Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia on September 21st-October 2nd 2015. The goals of this internship program are to make students understand roles, jobs and duties of pharmacist in Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Republik Indonesia; to make them understand the responsibilites of Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan in pharmacy; to make them have insights, knowledge, skills and practical experiences to do pharmaceutical practice in government sector; and to make them have clear vision on pharmaceutical problem in government sector."

"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Direktorat Bina Pelayanan Kefarmasian Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami program kerja serta peran Apoteker yang mencakup pembuatan dan perumusan kebijakan, Norma, Standar, Prosedur dan Kriteria (NSPK), pemberian bimbingan teknis di bidang standarisasi, farmasi klinik, farmasi komunitas dan penggunaan obat rasional, serta menganalisis program kerja subdirektorat Farmasi Komunitas mengenai software Pelayanan Informasi Obat (PIO). Sedangkan tujuan dari tugas khusus adalah membandingkan item obat dari software PIO dengan item obat di FORNAS (Formularium Nasional) dan mengembangkan studi farmasetik obat albendazol dan vankomisin.

Pharmacists Professional Practice (PKPA) in the Direktorat Bina Pelayanan Kefarmasian Direktorat Jenderal Bina Kefarmasian dan Alat Kesehatan Kementerian Republik Indonesia aims to identify and understand the work program and the role of pharmacists which includes the manufacture and formulation of policies, norms, standards, procedures and criteria, providing technical guidance in the field of standardization, clinical pharmacy, community pharmacy and rational use of drugs, as well as analyzing the work program of the Sub-Directorate of community pharmacy about drug Information Service software (PIO). While the purpose of the special spesific is to compare drug items of software PIO with drug items in FORNAS (National Formulary) and develop the study of pharmaceutical albendazole and vancomycin drugs."

Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah membuat list nama obat yang belum tercantum dalam software PIO serta membuat dua informasi obat yang belum tersedia dalam software PIO di 16 kategori.

Pharmacists in government has role in the creation and implementation of these regulations, so that the implementation of health care can be done in a comprehensive and optimal while maintaining the service quality, especially in the pharmaceutical services. Pharmacist internship in the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices aims to provide an understanding and knowledge of the duties and functions of pharmacists in the public sector, especially the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services. Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services has a duties to carry out the preparation of the formulation and implementation of policies, and the formulation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria, as well as providing technical guidance and evaluation in the field of pharmacy services."

This Apothecary Profession Internship aims to study the duties and functions of the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, particularly at Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services, plus their implementation, and to comprehend the role of pharmacists at the workplace. Specific project assignment was also comprised with the aim to compile drug information of Gosereline Acetate and Cetuximab as complementary drug items on the National Formulary (FORNAS) which had not listed at PIO software 2013."
