Penulis di dalam buku ini membahas tentang statistik deskriptif. Mulai dari tingkat persiapan pengumpulan bahan, merumuskan pola keragaman, alat-alat pelukis pada distribusi dan pembagian frekuensi, angka indeks, ketidaktelitian dari angka-angka, dan deret-deret waktu gabungan.

Abstrak :
Background. Metformin is the first-line oral antidiabetic agent used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. One of the adverse reactions of the long term use of metformin is cobalamin malabsorption. Clinical and laboratory findings are important in the diagnosis of cobalamin deficiency. Objective. This study aimed to evaluate the risk of cobalamin deficiency symptoms related to long-term use of metformin in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Pasar Rebo General Hospital in Jakarta. Setting. This quantitative, observational study with retrospective cohort design was conducted in outpatient department Pasar Rebo General Hospital November 2015 until January 2016. Methods. 200 subjects were recruited and divided into two groups, patients who had been taking metformin for 1-3 years and patients who had been taking metformin for more than 3 years. Each patient was assessed for the presence of cobalamin deficiency symptoms. Main outcome measure. Cobalamin deficiency symptoms evaluated were symptoms of neuropathy (measured by DN4 questionnaire) and hematologic abnormalities associated to cobalamin deficiency, i.e. macrocytic erythrocyte, hypersegmented neutrophils, and giant bands. Results. There are significant differences in the proportions of neuropathy symptoms (RR 2.36, 95%, p=0.000) and hematologic abnormalities (RR 1.5, 95%, p=0.007) between the two groups. Conclusions. Long-term use of metformin (≥3 years) may increase the risk of cobalamin deficiency symptoms in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.

Abstrak :
Telah dilakukan desain teras Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) untuk jenis Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (PBMR) dengan daya 70 MWe untuk keperluan proses smelter pada keadaan beginning of life (BOL). Analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persen pengkayaan, distribusi suhu dan nilai keselamatan dengan koefisien reaktivitas teras yang negatif pada reaktor jenis PBMR apabila daya reaktor 70 MWe. Analisis menggunakan program Monte Carlo N-Particle-5 (MCNP5) dan dari hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat memenuhi syarat dalam mendukung program percepatan pembangunan kelistrikan batubara 10.000 MWe khususnya untuk proses smelter, yang tersebar merata di wilayah Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, faktor perlipatan efektif (k-eff) Reaktor jenis PBMR daya 70 MWe mengalami kondisi kritis pada pengkayaan 5,626 % dengan nilai faktor perlipatan efektif 1,00031±0,00087 dan nilai koefisien reaktivitas suhu pada -10,0006 pcm/K. Dari hasil analisis daat disimpulkan bahwa reaktor jenis PBMR daya 70 MWe adalah aman.

The pharmaceutical services at a dispensary are prescription dispensing , self medication and drug information. Patient's satisfaction is an essential factor in improving medicines sale at dispensary.The objective of survecy is to know the patient's satisfaction who get the prescription service at Kopkar dispensary. Cross sectional study is conducted by collecting data from 100 adult patients who get the prescription service at kopkar dispensary on november2003 by questioner.Respondent are selected bu the systematic random sampling.Data were analyzed by comparing between the perception of reality service and the perception of need service using corelation index.The result of this study are:(1)_ the patients have high satisfaction to the empathy and the cleaning writing room, (2) The patients have moderate satisfaction to the drug service,the cashier service,the drug information,the drug completed, the drug price, the desk in writing room,the fan and air conditioning service and (3) the patients have low satisfaction to the television service.
