Abstrak :
Kebudayaan dan adat istiadat Minangkabau merupakan salah satu unsur kebudayaan yang sering ditampilkan dalam karya sastra Indonesia. Di dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau tersebut terdapat falsafah dan moralitas adat yang diyakini dan dijalankan oleh masyarakatnya. Salah satu cara untuk melestarikan falsafah adat tersebut adalah melalui alat budaya. Penelitian ini membahas peran Kaba, tradisi lisan Minangkabau, sebagai alat budaya dalam merepresentasikan falsafah dan moralitas adat dalam novel Jemput Terbawa (2018) karya Pinto Anugrah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra khususnya dari sudut pandang kebudayaan Minangkabau. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan bahwa falsafah adat Minangkabau yang ditampilkan secara menonjol dalam novel tersebut adalah perihal menjaga martabat dan harga diri. Falsafah tersebut dikaitkan dengan masalah moralitas adat yang dialami para tokoh utama perempuan di dalam novel. Peran Kaba dalam novel ini adalah sebagai alat untuk melestarikan dan menegakkan falsafah dan moralitas adat Minangkabau tersebut kepada tokoh dan pembaca. Kaba dalam novel ini tidak hanya didefinisikan sebagai tradisi lisan yang dilestarikan dari zaman ke zaman tetapi juga sebagai segala upaya masyarakat Minangkabau untuk menjaga martabat dan harga diri seorang perempuan atau ibu dalam lingkungan masyarakat. ......Minangkabau culture is one of many cultural points of view that are often represented in Indonesian literature. Within the said culture, traditional philosophy and morality are believed and carried out by the people. One of the ways to preserve that traditional philosophy is through the cultural tool. This study discusses the role of Kaba, a verbal tradition from Minangkabau, as a tool to represent one of Minangkabau's traditional philosophies and morality in a novel titled Jemput Terbawa (2018) by Pinto Anugrah. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method with a sociology literature approach from the point of view of Minangkabau culture. The results from the analysis found that the traditional philosophy of Minangkabau that is represented the most in the novel is about preserving dignity and self-esteem. That philosophy is linked to the moral issues that the female main characters in the novel are facing. The role of Kaba in this novel is a tool to preserve and uphold that philosophy and morality for the characters and the readers. Kaba in this novel is not only defined as a verbal tradition that has been preserved through generations but also as any efforts that the Minangkabau people make to preserve and protect the dignity and self-esteem of the women or mothers in their society.

Penelitian ini menggunakan novel Layangan Putus karya Mommy ASF yang telah dialihwahanakan atau yang mengalami ekranisasi menjadi film Layangan Putus karya Benni Setiawan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan terjadinya proses alih wahana yang memaksa terjadinya penciutan, penambahan, dan variasi dari novel ke film. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap persamaan dan perbedaan antara novel Layangan Putus karya Mommy ASF dan film serial Layangan Putus karya Benni Setiawan, penelitian ini menelusuri lebih jauh berbagai alasan dan pertimbangan terjadinya persamaan dan perbedaan itu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif serta menguraikan alasan-alasan terjadinya perubahan akibat alih wahana dari novel Layangan Putus karya Mommy ASF dan film serial Layangan Putus karya Benni Setiawan. Pengumpulan data dan analisis informasi berdasarkan teks yang terdapat dalam novel Layangan Putus, foto, atau gambar, video, rekaman suara dan hasil analisis ditemukan adanya penciutan, karena tidak mungkin semua novel ditambahkan dalam film, ada beberapa perkembangan, variasi agar keseluruhan film menjadi lebih menarik, itu semua tidak terlepas dari permasalahan komersial. ......This research uses the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF which has been translated or which has been ecranized into the film Layangan Putus by Benni Setiawan. The purpose of this study is to reveal the process of transfer of rides that forces the occurrence of reductions, additions, and variations from novel to film. Based on the analysis of the similarities and differences between the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF and the film series Layangan Putus by Benni Setiawan, this study goes further than the various reasons and considerations for the occurrence of these similarities and differences. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method and describes the reasons for the changes as a result of the vehicle from the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF and the film series Layangan Putus by Benni Setiawan. Data collection and analysis of information based on the text contained in the novel Layangan Putus, photos, or pictures, videos, sound recordings and others. the results of the analysis found that there was a shrinkage, because it was impossible for all novels to be added to the film, there were several developments, variations to make the whole film more interesting, it was all inseparable from commercial problems.

Deiksis adalah istilah dalam kajian pragmatik (dalam bahasa Yunani) pada hal yang penutur dan mitra tutur lakukan melalui tuturan atau ungkapan. Deiksis artinya ‘penunjukan’ melalui sistem bahasa dan dipakai untuk menyelesaikan ‘penunjukan’ dalam ilmu linguistik yang disebut dengan ungkapan atau bentuk deiksis. Pada tulisan ini, terdapat lima deiksis yang muncul, yaitu deiksis persona, tempat, waktu, wacana, dan sosial. Deiksis persona merupakan kata ganti yang merujuk orang atau pelaku, yaitu kata ganti orang pertama, kedua, dan ketiga. Deiksis penunjuk tempat bersinggungan pada arah dan tempat. Deiksis penunjuk waktu bersinggungan dengan struktur temporal atau struktur waktu dan bersinggungan dengan penuturan jarak waktu yang dilihat dari tuturan yang dituturkan penutur. Deiksis wacana berkaitan dengan anafora dan katafora dalam tuturan. Deiksis sosial memandang unsur honorifik atau kesopanan dalam berbahasa. Rumusan masalah pada tulisan ini adalah apa saja bentuk deiksis persona, tempat, waktu, wacana, dan sosial pada novel Laut Bercerita. Tujuan tulisan ini untuk menjelaskan penggunaan dan jenis kata ganti deiksis persona, tempat, waktu, wacana, dan sosial pada novel Laut Bercerita. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik sumber pustaka. Tahapan penelitian dalam pengumpulan data adalah mencatat data yang mengandung deiksis melalui observasi atau pencarian langsung dari novel Laut Bercerita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan deiksis dalam novel Laut Bercerita digunakan dengan lengkap dan efektif karena penempatannya yang sesuai konteks wacana untuk menunjang penggambaran tokoh, latar, alur, dan tema dalam novel. ......Deixis is a term in pragmatic studies (in Greek language) on what speakers and speech partners do through speech or expressions. Deixis means 'designation' through the language system and is used to complete the 'designation' in linguistics which is called the expression or form of deixis. In this paper, there are five deixis that appear, namely person, place, time, discourse, and social deixis. Personal deixis is a pronoun that refers to a person or actor, namely the first, second, and third person pronouns. Deixis indicates the place tangent to the direction and place. Time indication deixis intersects with the temporal structure or time structure and intersects with the narration of the time distance seen from the speech spoken by the speaker. Discourse deixis is related to anaphora and cataphora in speech. Social deixis views honorific elements or politeness in language. The formulation of the problem in this paper is what are the forms of persona, place, time, discourse, and social deixis in the novel The Sea Speaks His Name. The purpose of this paper is to explain the use and types of personal deixis pronouns, place, time, discourse, and social in the novel The Sea Speaks His Name. Qualitative methods are used in this study. Data collection is done by using library resources techniques. The research stage in data collection is to record data containing deixis through direct observation or searching from the novel The Sea Speaks His Name. The results of the study indicate that the use of deixis in the novel The Sea Speaks His Name is used completely and effectively because of its placement in the context of the discourse to support the depiction of characters, settings, plots, and theme in the novel.

Sastra sebagai cerminan kondisi masyarakat tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kebudayaan. Saat ini ada banyak karya sastra yang mengangkat kebudayaan dalam sastra dengan tema kedaerahan. Salah satunya adalah cerpen “Rambu Solo’” karya Sulfiza Ariska. Cerpen tersebut mampu memberikan gambaran yang baik mengenai upacara Rambu Solo’ sebagai kebudayaan masyarakat Toraja yang masih dilakukan hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan warna lokal dan representasi sistem kepercayaan aluk todolo masyarakat Toraja dalam cerpen “Rambu Solo’” karya Sulfiza Ariska. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerpen “Rambu Solo’” karya Sulfiza Ariska memuat beberapa hal terkait warna lokal. Pertama, adanya penggunaan nama diri yang mengacu pada hari dan tempat kelahiran, serta bentuk panggilan yang digunakan masyarakat Toraja. Kedua, cerpen “Rambu Solo’” bertema proses perjuangan keluarga Raiya untuk menyelenggarakan upacara Rambu Solo’ bagi Ambe. Ketiga, latar tempat dalam cerpen adalah Tongkonan, sumbung, dan dapur. Selain itu, warna lokal juga ditunjukkan dengan adanya motivasi masyarakat Toraja saat mempersembahkan hewan ternak dalam Rambu Solo’, mata pencarian, prosesi pemakaman dalam Rambu Solo’, dan makna ukiran bagi masyarakat Toraja. Representasi sistem kepercayaan aluk todolo dalam cerpen “Rambu Solo’” dihadirkan melalui adanya objek penyembahan, pokok ajaran aluk, dan hukum dalam aluk todolo. ......Literature as a reflection of the condition of society cannot be separated from culture. Currently there are many literary works that raise culture in literature with regional themes. One of them is the short story “Rambu Solo’” by Sulfiza Ariska. The short story is able to provide a good picture of the ceremony Rambu Solo’ as a Toraja culture which is still practiced today. This study aims to explain the local color and representation of the belief system of aluk todolo people of Toraja in the short story “Rambu Solo’” by Sulfiza Ariska. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sociology of literature approach. The results showed that the short story “Rambu Solo’” by Sulfiza Ariska contained three things related to local colors. First, there is the use of self-names that refer to the day and place of birth, as well as the form of calling used by the Toraja people. The short story “Rambu Solo’” is themed on the process of the Raiya family's struggle to hold a ceremony Rambu Solo’ for Ambe. Second, the setting in the short story is Tongkonan, sumbung, and the kitchen. Third, the local color is also shown by the motivation of the Toraja people when offering livestock in the ceremony Rambu Solo’, livelihood, funeral processions in the ceremony Rambu Solo’, and the meaning of carving for the Toraja people. Representation belief system aluk todolo in the short story “Rambu Solo’” presented through their object of worship, the basic teachings of aluk and the law in aluk todolo.
