"ABK memerlukan dukungan yang memadai agar dapat berkembang secara optimal, termasuk dalam mencapai kemandirian dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. SBOT menawarkan pendekatan kolaboratif antara terapis okupasi dan guru untuk membantu ABK mengatasi hambatan dalam aktivitas di sekolah dan mendukung perkembangan kemandirian mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara durasi pemberian School Based Occupational Therapy (SBOT) dengan kemandirian fungsional anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang melibatkan 53 orang tua dari anak berkebutuhan khusus di Lazuardi GCS sebagai responden. Data kemandirian fungsional diukur menggunakan skala Modified WeeFIM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan korelasi yang signifikan antara durasi pemberian SBOT dengan kemandirian fungsional ABK, dengan nilai korelasi Spearman (r = 0,240; p = 0,042). Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa SBOT merupakan intervensi yang efektif dalam mendukung kemandirian ABK. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang efektivitas terapi okupasi berbasis sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ABK di lingkungan pendidikan serta menyediakan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan program SBOT di sekolah inklusi.

Children with special needs (CSN) require adequate support to achieve optimal development, including independence in daily activities. School Based Occupational Therapy (SBOT) offers a collaborative approach between occupational therapists and teachers to help CSN overcome obstacles in school activities and foster their independence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the duration of the SBOT and the functional independence of CSN. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach involving 53 parents of CSN at Lazuardi GCS as respondents. Functional independence data were measured using the Modified WeeFIM scale. The results revealed a statistically significant correlation between the duration of School Based Occupational Therapy (SBOT) and the functional independence of children with special needs, with a Spearman’s correlation coefficient of r = 0.240 and p = 0.042. These research tells that SBOT is an effective intervention in promoting the functional independence of children with special needs. This study is expected to offer deeper insights into the effectiveness of SBOT in enhancing children’s independence within educational settings and to provide recommendations for the development and refinement of SBOT programs in inclusive schools."

"Terapi okupasi merupakan salah satu profesi pada bidang kesehatan yang jarang diketahui banyak orang. Walapun demikian, peran seorang praktisi terapi okupasi memiliki beban kerja yang tinggi. Beban kerja tersebut dapat memberikan dampak pada psikologis terapis, salah satunya adalah stres. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami hubungan antara stres yang dirasakan oleh terapis okupasi berkaitan dengan perasaan kepuasan kerja di bidang terapi okupasi. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dengan jenis penelitian cross-sectional atau potong lintang dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data digunakan menggunakan Google Form dengan mengisi kuesioner Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised Edition (OSI-R) dan Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS), penyebaran dilakukan melalui jaringan media sosial. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja (p<0,05). Adapun rata-rata tingkat stres kerja terapis yaitu mengalami stres ringan (57,48) dan rata-rata tingkat kepuasan kerja terapis merasa puas akan pekerjaannya (143,70). Pengetahuan ini dapat memberikan informasi yang sesuai bagi terapis okupasi dan tempat kerja untuk selalu mengetahui serta memonitor kesehatan mental dan fisik tenaga kerja terapis okupasi.

Occupational therapy is one of the health professions that is rarely known by many people. Nevertheless, the role of an occupational therapy practitioner carries a high workload. That workload can impact the therapist's psychology, one of which is stress. This study aims to understand the relationship between the stress experienced by occupational therapists and their job satisfaction in the field of occupational therapy. Quantitative methods were used with a cross-sectional type of research in this study. Data collection was conducted using Google Forms by filling out the Occupational Stress Inventory-Revised Edition (OSI-R) and Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS) questionnaires, with distribution carried out through social media networks. The research results show a significant relationship between work stress levels and job satisfaction (p<0.05). The average level of work-related stress among therapists is experiencing mild stress (57.48) and the average level of job satisfaction among therapists is feeling satisfied with their work (143.70). This knowledge can provide relevant information for occupational therapists and workplaces to always be aware of and monitor the mental and physical health of occupational therapy workers."

"Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) merupakan gangguan perkembangan yang memengaruhi kemampuan interaksi sosial dan komunikasi. Anak ASD sering mengalami gangguan tidur, dengan prevalensi sekitar 40–80%. Masalah tidur yang tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat memperburuk perilaku maladaptif seperti agresi, kecemasan, kesulitan beradaptasi sosial. Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF) menekankan bahwa kualitas tidur merupakan bagian penting dalam domain okupasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kualitas tidur dan perilaku maladaptif pada anak ASD. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan subjek anak yang didiagnosis ASD. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Children’s Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ) menilai kualitas tidur dan Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) menilai perilaku maladaptif. Uji normalitas data dilakukan dengan Shapiro-Wilk dan analisis hubungan menggunakan uji Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara kualitas tidur dan perilaku maladaptif anak ASD (ρ = 0,265; p = 0,036). Meskipun hubungan yang ditemukan rendah, kualitas tidur tetap berperan penting terhadap munculnya perilaku maladaptif. Selain itu, analisis regresi menunjukkan usia (p = 0,010) dan jenis kelamin (p = 0,017) juga memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan perilaku tersebut.

ASD children often experience sleep disturbances, with a prevalence of around 40-80%. Untreated sleep problems can exacerbate maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, anxiety, social adaptation difficulties. The Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF) emphasizes that sleep quality is an important part of the occupational domain. This study aims to analyze the relationship between sleep quality and maladaptive behavior in ASD children. The research design used a cross-sectional approach with the subject of children diagnosed with ASD. The instruments used were Children's Sleep Habits Questionnaire (CSHQ) assessing sleep quality and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) assessing maladaptive behavior. Data normality test was conducted with Shapiro-Wilk and relationship analysis using Spearman test. The results showed a positive relationship between sleep quality and maladaptive behaviors of ASD children (ρ = 0.265; p = 0.036). Although the relationship found is low, sleep quality still plays an important role in the emergence of maladaptive behavior. In addition, regression analysis showed that age (p = 0.010) and gender (p = 0.017) also had significant associations with these behaviors."
