"Apoteker merupakan profesi kunci yang memegang peranan penting, baik di industri farmasi maupun di apotek. Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk dapat terjun langsung sebagai tenaga kefarmasian dan melaksanakan praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh standar kompetensi Standar Kompetensi Apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari 10 (sepuluh) standar kompetensi. Kompetensi dalam sepuluh standar tersebut merupakan persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Oleh karena itu setiap calon apoteker difasilitasi untuk mengikuti Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA), yang dapat membekali calon apoteker melalui pengalaman kerja dan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai praktik pelayanan kefarmasian. PKPA dilaksanakan di PT Bintang Toedjoe dan Apotek Roxy Depok periode bulan Februari sampai Juni 2020. Setelah menjalani PKPA, diharapkan calon apoteker mendapatkan gambaran bagaimana pekerjaan apoteker yang sesungguhnya di dunia kerja, menambah wawasan, dan pengalaman melakukan praktik kerja profesi sebagai apoteker.
