"Diet terdiri dari berbagai jenis makanan yang dikonsumsi bersama, sehingga penilaian kualitas diet lebih direkomendasikan menggunakan indeks dibanding penilaian nutrien tunggal. Literatur menunjukan bahwa kualitas diet memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku makan. Oleh karena itu, studi ini bertujuan melihat kualitas diet, perilaku makan, dan hubungan keduanya pada usia dewasa yang tinggal di kawasan perkotaan dan pedesaan. Studi potong lintang dilakukan di Jawa Timur dengan 185 subjek 19-64 tahun . Pemilihan sample pada studi dilakukan dengan metode proportional proportion to size PPS di 1 kota dan 1 kabupaten terpilih. Studi ini menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur, 2 x food recall 24 jam, dan diet quality index ndash; international DQI-I . Hasil studi menunjukan mayoritas subjek perkotaan mengkonsumsi 1-2 makan utama, makan di luar rumah, dan melewatkan makan pagi. Sedangkan mayoritas subjek pedesaan makan 3 kali sehari, dan memiliki presentasi makan di luar dan tidak mengkonsumsi makan pagi yang lebih sedikit. Secara umum juga ditemukan perbedaan signifikan pada kualitas diet di kedua jenis tempat tinggal. Subjek di perkotaan menunjukan skor kualitas diet yang lebih rendah dibanding subjek di pedesaan. Dari studi juga diperoleh hubungan frekuensi snack dan kualitas diet pada subjek di perkotaan. Sehingga, promosi untuk mengkonsumsi snack perlu digalakan, dengan memperhatikan jenis snack yang baik dikonsumsi.
Since diet consists of complex food, assessment of diet using diet quality is preferable. Literatures found diet quality is related to eating behavior. This study aimed to see diet quality, eating behavior, and the association of eating behavior and diet quality among adults living urban and rural area. A cross sectional study in East Java was conducted with 185 total subjects 19 64 years . This study used propotional proportion to size in selected urban and rural area. Structured questionnaire, 2 x 24 h food recall, and diet quality index ndash international DQI I were used in the study. The results showed significant difference in term of meal frequency, eating place lunch and dinner , also breakfast habit. Mostly, subjects in urban ate 1 2 meals, ate outside home, and skipped breakfast. Rural subjects mostly ate 3 meals per day, and had lower percentage of eating out and breakfast skippers. In general, the study found significant difference of diet quality score between urban and rural. People in urban had lower score of diet quality compared to people in rural. In addition, snacking frequency was found influencing diet quality in urban. Thus, promotion on snack consumption should be addressed with considering the type of snack. "

The goal of this study was to determine Body Mass Index BMI and its associations among adolescents in Jakarta. Increasing BMI is related to food practice that may shaped people taste perception. Some studies have showed that there are any interplay associations between taste and body mass. Five basic tastes are acknowledged nowadays, in which umami taste is the latest found and controversial in Indonesia. Meanwhile, study related with umami in Indonesia is still far behind. To what extend could umami taste sensitivity mediate in dietary experience and body mass index were analyzed in this study. There are 43 Non Overweight Obese Group NOOG and 79 Overweight Obese Group OOG students aged 10 16 years were involved in this quantitative cross sectional study. "Beban ganda malnutrisi pada orang dewasa menjadi masalah gizi di populasi globalbegitu juga di Indonesia. Beban ganda malnutrisi ini terjadi sebagai akibat daripergeseran pola konsumsi yang salah satunya adalah konsumsi makanan bersumberprotein. Dalam menghadapi masalah tersebut pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkanPedoman Gizi Seimbang PGS dengan anjuran untuk konsumsi makananbersumber protein. Dengan demikian, faktor yang berkaitan dengan konsumsimakanan bersumber protein perlu untuk diketahui. Beberapa studi sudahmenunjukkan bagaimana cara pemilihan makanan, baik studi kuantitatif atau studikualitatif. Studi kualitatif yang berfokus pada eksplorasi faktor yang berkaitandengan konsumsi protein pada orang Indonesia dewasa masih sedikit. Studikualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplore faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengankonsumsi protein orang dewasa Indonesia di Jakarta. Studi dilakukan mulai dariAgustus 2017 hingga Mei 2018 sebagai bagian dari Studi SCRIPT. Sebanyak 16orang dewasa tinggal di Jakarta ikut berpartisipasi pada wawancara mendalam.Pemilihan informan ini dilakukan dengan cara purposive and snowball sampling.Diskusi kelompok terarah dan wawancara dengan informan kunci seperti sejarawanmakanan Indonesia, kepala keluarga, dan penjual makanan keliling dilakukansebagai triangulasi. Semua hasil rekaman di transkripsi kedalam teks verbatim dandilakukan pengecekan dengan hasil rekaman. Aplikasi Dedoose digunakan untukanalisis data dalam membuat coding dan tema dari hasil transkripsi verbatim.Terdapat 4 tema muncul dari analsis data yaitu pengetahuan mengenai makanmakanan bersumber protein; persepsi tentang makan makanan bersumber protein;konsumsi makanan bersumber protein orang dewasa di Jakarta; dan faktor yangberkaitan dengan konsumsi makanan bersumber protein. Beberapa faktor yangberkaitan erat dengan konsumsi makanan sumber protein orang dewasa di Jakartayaitu tradisi, norma, dan kepercayaan; karakteristik sensoris makanan; kesukaan;pengalaman; pertimbangan keamanan dan kesehatan; kemampuan memasak;kebiasaan dan kesukaan keluarga; pembagian tugas dan kewajiban dalampemenuhan makanan di keluarga; ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan pangan; dansumber informasi. Studi ini merekomendasikan kepada Kementerian Kesehatan,BPPOM, dan ahli kesehatan untuk mempromosikan pemilihan makan yang sehatdan aman terutama makanan bersumber protein melalui kerja sama dengankomunitas dan penggunaan media sosial atau media interaktif. Selain itu, studi inijuga merekomendasikan kepada Kementerian Perikanan dan Kelautan dan jugaKementerian Pertanian untuk menyediakan makanan bersumber protein yang halal,aman, dan segar.
Double burden malnutrition among adults is an existing nutrition problem in globalpopulation as well as in Indonesia. This double burden of malnutrition is happenedas one of the impact of shifting in dietary pattern and one of the concern wasprotein source foods consumption. In order to faced the problem, Indonesiangovernment has been released Pedoman Gizi Seimbang PGS as nutritionguidlines. One of the message in PGS was to consume protein source foods.Therefore, factors related to protein source foods consumption should be known.Several studies were pointed out studies on food selection in quantitativeapproached and some of qualitative approached. However, qualitative studyfocused on exploring factors related to protein source foods consumption amongIndonesian adults in Jakarta are still limited. This qualitative study aims to explorefactors related to protein source foods consumption among Indonesian adults inJakarta. This study conducted started from August 2017 until May 2018 and part ofSCRIPT study. A total of 16 adults who were living in Jakarta participated in indepthinterview and was chosen by purposive and snowball sampling. FGD andkey informants interview including food historian, head of household, and foodseller were performed as data triangulation. All the recordings were transcribedverbatiim and double checking were done. Data coding and emerging themes fromtranscript verbatiim was done using Dedoose App. There were 4 themes emergedfrom this study which were the knowledge on eating protein source foods perception on eating protein source foods protein source foods consumptionamong adults in Jakarta and factors related to protein source foods consumption.However, factors related to protein source foods consumption were tradition,norms, and belief sensory appeal preferences experience safety and healthyconsideration cooking skills family rsquo s habit and preferences role and responsiblityin food procurement food availability and accessibility and source of informations.This findings encouraged Ministry of Health, Indonesian FDA, and healthprofessionals to promote how to choose healthy and safety foods especially proteinsourcefoods by doing enggangement with communities and using social media orinteractive platform. Besides, this findings were also recommend Ministry ofFisheries and Marine and Ministry of Agriculture to provide halal, safety, and freshprotein source foods."

Perubahan pada lingkungan makanan dapat mempengaruhi pola makan hingga
meningkatkan resiko obesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplor lingkungan
makanan (paparan promosi makanan dan pemilihan tempat belanja) dalam
kaitannya perubahan pola makan perempuan dewasa di area kumuh perkotaan.
Studi cross-sectional pada 200 perempuan usia 19-50 tahun telah dilakukan di
Kelurahan Kampung Melayu. Pola makan di evaluasi dengan Analisis Cluster dan

"Asupan asam lemak omega-3 penting selama kehamilan dan mempengaruhi luaran lahir. Sedikit data yang terbit di Indonesia mengenai asupan lemak omega-3 pada ibu hamil (bumil) dan hubungannya terhadap ukuran lahir bayi. Desain potong lintang terhadap bumil yang terdaftar ANC (antenatal care) dengan usia kehamilan >32 minggu di semua puskesmas kecamatan di Jakarta timur.
Kuesioner terstruktur, semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ), shorr board, and HemoCue digunakan untuk menilai faktor ibu dan asupan omega-3 serta mengukur antropometri dan kadar hemoglobin. Pita SECA, timbang bayi dan data rekam medik digunakan untuk mengukur lingkar lengan atas ibu, berat bayi dan mencatat panjang bayi.
Analisis multivariate digunakan untuk menilai hubungan asupan omega-3 terhadap ukuran lahir setelah faktor pengganggu dikendalikan. Bumil dengan asupan lemak kurang dari 54.27 mg/hr akan 2.1 (95% CI: 1.16-4.03) kali beresiko memiliki anak dengan lingkar kepala (LIKA) sub normal. Bumil dengan asupan α-linolenat kurang dari 0.82 gr/hr akan memiliki bayi dengan berat lahir 95 (95%CI:9.3-180) gram lebih rendah. Tidak ada asupan asam lemak essensial yang berhubungan dengan panjang badan. Lemak berhubungan dengan LIKA sedangkan ALA berhubungan dengan berat lahir.

Dietary intake of omega-3 fatty acids (FAs) is important during pregnancy and influence birth outcome. Limited published study in Indonesia related to dietary omega-3 FAs intake among pregnant women and its association with infant birth size. A cross-sectional study was designed among registered antenatal care and >32 weeks of gestational age pregnant women in all sub-district public health centers in East Jakarta.
Structured interview, semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ), shorrboard, and HemoCue were used to assess maternal factors, usual intake of omega-3 FAs, measure anthropometric and hemoglobin level data respectively. Mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) SECA tape, pediatric weighing scale and medical record were used to assess infant head circumference, birth weight and length, respectively.
Multivariate analysis was used to find adjusted association between omega-3 FAs intake and birth size. Pregnant women with fat intake below 54.27 mg/d would have 2.1 (95% CI: 1.16-4.03) times higher risk to have sub normal head circumference while pregnant women with alpa-linolenic acid (ALA) intake below 0.82 gram/d would have 95 (95%CI: 9.3-180) gram lower birth weight in adjusted data. None of omega-3 fatty acids was associated with birth length. Fat and ALA had association with head circumference and birth weight, respectively.

"Saat ini, Maternal agency diketahui memiliki pengaruh terhadap keluaran kesehatan anak di beberapa negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Namun, masih sedikit studi yang menjelaskan hubungan antara maternal agency dan berat lahir. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian potong lintang melibatkan 283 Ibu hamil pada 10 Puskesmas Kecamatan se-Jakarta Timur. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara maternal agency atau komponennya pada berat lahir, tetapi terdapat tren menuju signifikan pada komponen pengambilan keputusan (p=0.071) setelah dikontrol dengan tinggi Ibu dan tipe keluarga. Pada analisis multivariat, pengambilan keputusan merupakan prediktor pelindung terhadap berat lahir <3000 gram.

Maternal agency has been recently identified to influence child health outcome in some developing countries including Indonesia. However, studies to assess the relationship between maternal agency and infant birth weight are lacking. A cross sectional study was conducted involving 283 pregnant women aged 19?44 years old in ten sub-district primary health center in East Jakarta. None of maternal agency or its component factors showed significant correlations with infant birth weight, though there was a trend toward significant (0.071) in decision-making autonomy, after controlled by maternal height and family type. Furthermore, maternal decision-making was a protective predictor against birth weight less than 3000 gram, in adjusted logistic data."

"Penelitian cross sectional ini bertujuan untuk membuat optimalisasi diet untuk anak gemuk dan obesitas usia 12-23 bulan yang dibuat menggunakan linear programming dengan memperhitungkan rasio asupan omega 6 dan omega 3 dan harga. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jakarta Timur pada 42 anak dengan berat badan normal dan 29 anak gemuk dan obesitas berdasarkan z-score IMT/ umur. Metode yang digunakan yaitu 24 jam recall selama 3 hari tidak berturut, diskusi kelompok dan survei pasar, sedangkan LP NutriSurvey digunakan untuk analisis optimalisasi diet. Penelitian ini menghasilkan optimalisasi diet dengan memperhitungkan rasio omega 6 dan omega 3, dengan harga masih dalam rentang yang direkomendasikan.

This cross sectional study aims at developing optimized diet based on linear programming for overweight and obese children aged 12-23 months considering the ratio of omega-3 and omega 6 intakes and prices in the diets. It was conducted in East Jakarta involving 42 children in normal group and 29 children in overweight and obese group based on BMI/ age z-score. The methods used were three non-consecutive days of 24-hour recall, group interview and market survey, while LP NutriSurvey was used in analyzing optimized diet. Remaja putri perlu berada dalam status gizi yang optimal untuk persiapan kehamilannya kelak. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan keragaman makanan pelajar remaja putri. Studi komparatif potong lintang dilakukan pada 220 pelajar putri berusia 14-18 tahun. Pengukuran tinggi dan berat badan dilakukan untuk menentukan skor-BAZ. Pemeriksaan diet dilakukan memakai metode 2xrecall-24 jam untuk menentukan skor keragaman makanan, menggunakan 13 kelompok makanan yang dikonsumsi minimal 15 gram/hari. Perbedaan skor keragaman makanan antara dua kelompok pelajar remaja putri dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Remaja putri dengan BAZ≤-1 mengonsumsi makanan lebih beragam daripada kelompok -1

Informasi mengenai adanya semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire
(SFFQ) yang valid untuk mengukur asupan PUFA pada anak di Indonesia masih
minim. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan
SFFQ dan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas dari SFFQ tersebut untuk mengukur
asupan PUFA pada anak di Indonesia usia 6-23 bulan.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan desain cross sectional di dua kelurahan
wilayah Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini melibatkan 89 anak yang dipilih secara
multistage random sampling. Anak-anak tersebut dilakukan pengukuran intake
melalui SFFQ dan wawancara recall selama 3 hari tidak berturut-turut. Beberapa
anak (n=35) telah dipilih untuk dilakukan pengukuran plasma lipid dalam darah.
Formulir SFFQ terdiri dari 78 item makanan yang disusun dari tabel komposisi
bahan makanan luar Indonesia. SFFQ tersebut kemudian divalidasi dengan
wawancara recall dan plasma lipid dalam darah. Pelaksanaan SFFQ dilakukan dua
kali dengan rentang 4 minggu terpisah untuk mengetahui reliabilitasnya. Relatif
validitas dan realibilitas dari SFFQ disimpulkan dari hasil analisa Bland-Altman.
Uji korelasi parsial yang telah dikontrol dengan status gizi dan usia anak
dilakukan untuk mengukur absolut validitas dari SFFQ.
Kecocokan yang baik ditemukan antara hasil SFFQ dan wawancara recall untuk
DHA, EPA, DPA dan AA akan tetapi tidak untuk total n-3, n-6, ALA dan LA.
Lebih jauh, SFFQ menunjukkan korelasi yang moderat dengan plasma lipid dalam
darah untuk n-6 dan LA (r: 0.40; p=0.025 and r:0.42 p=0.018, secara berurutan).
Hasil analisa Bland-Altman menunjukkan 95% kecocokan antara hasil SFFQ
pertama dan pengulangan SFFQ untuk semua asam lemak esensial. Secara
keseluruhan, SFFQ yang dikembangkan relatif valid untuk mengukur asupan
PUFA kecuali untuk total n-3, n-6, ALA dan LA. SFFQ juga reliable untuk
mengetahui asupan PUFA pada anak.

ABSTRACT
The information on the existing validated semi-quantitative food frequency
questionnaire (SFFQ) to capture the intakes of PUFA for Indonesian children is
lacking. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the validity and reproducibility
of developed SFFQ for assessing poly-unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) intake for
Indonesian children aged 6-23 months.
A cross sectional study was conducted in two sub-districts of East Jakarta
involving 89 healthy children selected by multistage random sampling. These
children were assessed by SFFQ and 3-day non consecutive 24-h recall. Some
children (n=35) were randomly selected for plasma assessment (PA). The SFFQ
consist of 78 food items which were constructed from the non-Indonesian food
composition database. It was validated against dietary recall and PA. Repeated
administration of SFFQ (4-week apart) was conducted to assess the
reproducibility of SFFQ. The relative validity and reproducibility of SFFQ were
determined by Bland-Altman analysis. The adjusted correlation for children
nutritional status and age was performed to assess absolute validity of SFFQ.
Good agreement was found between SFFQ and dietary recall for DHA, EPA,
DPA, and AA, but not for total n-3, n-6, ALA and LA. Moreover, SFFQ showed
moderate correlations with plasma n-6 LCPUFA and LA (r: 0.40; p=0.025 and
r:0.42 p=0.018, respectively). A 95% level of Bland-Altman agreement was
clearly observed between first SFFQ and repeated SFFQ for all essential fatty
acids. In conclusion, the SFFQ was relatively valid to assess usual PUFA intake
except for total n-3, n-6, ALA and LA and reproducible to estimate PUFA intake

Good agreement was found between SFFQ and dietary recall for DHA, EPA,
DPA, and AA, but not for total n-3, n-6, ALA and LA. Moreover, SFFQ showed
moderate correlations with plasma n-6 LCPUFA and LA (r: 0.40; p=0.025 and
r:0.42 p=0.018, respectively). A 95% level of Bland-Altman agreement was
clearly observed between first SFFQ and repeated SFFQ for all essential fatty
acids. In conclusion, the SFFQ was relatively valid to assess usual PUFA intake
except for total n-3, n-6, ALA and LA and reproducible to estimate PUFA intake

Penelitian ini membahas proses pengembangan aplikasi ponsel berbasis android bernama Kuala24 untuk menghitung asupan harian gula tambahan pada anak usia sekolah di Jakarta Timur dan evaluasi penerimaan terhadap aplikasi tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian potong lintang, dengan pendekatan
kualitatif pada tahap analisis kebutuhan dan pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk
mengetahui evaluasi penerimaan dalam aspek content, grapich, dan design. Hasil
penelitian ini yaitu sebuah aplikasi bernama Kuala24 untuk menghitung asupan
gula tambahan yang berisi database makanan dan minuman yang mengandung gula
tambahan dan gambar makanan. Aplikasi Kuala24 mendapatkan penerimaan
dengan kategori baik pada anak usia usia sekolah di Jakarta Timur

ABSTRACT
This study provides step-step how to develop application for calculating added
sugar intake. The present study aims to develop and assess the acceptance of added
sugar intake calculator application (Kuala24 app) in East Jakarta. Data collection
was done by qualitative approach using Delphi technique to experts (n=15) in need
assessment phase for developing Kuala24 app. Acceptance of Kuala24 was
obtained from school aged children (n=59). Kuala24 app is a mobile application
software for calculating added sugar intake that contain food databases, food picture
and food grouping. The result of acceptance assessment is 55.9% school aged
children having good acceptance."
