"ABSTRAK
Etnik Tionghoa yang datang ke Indonesia telah melewati sejarah panjang, kemudian menjadi kelompok penduduk yang menetap. Setiap imigran Tiongkok yang menetap di Indonesia tentu membawa tradisi dan identitas kecinaannya masing-masing. Salah satu tradisi dan identitas kecinaan yang masih mereka pertahankan yaitu mereka masih sangat mementingkan dan mempertahankan marga mereka. Setiap suku bangsa tentu memiliki perbedaan budaya, begitu juga dengan Tiongkok. Salah satu perbedaan budaya tersebut terlihat pada bagaimana mereka mengujarkan marga mereka. Sebagai suku imigran yang menetap di Indonesia, marga Tionghoa harus dilatinisasi ke dalam ejaan Bahasa Indonesia. Makalah ini membahas perbedaan dan latar belakang latinisasi marga Tionghoa pada suku Hokkian dan Hakka di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
Chinese ethnic who came to Indonesia had passed a long history and became a settled population group. Every Chinese immigrant who settled in Indonesia certainly brings their own Chinese traditions and identity. One of Chinese traditions and identity that they still maintain is they still accentuate and maintain their family name. every ethnic group certainly has cultural differences, so is China. One of these cultural differences is seen in how they pronounce their family name. as an immigrant who settled in Indonesia, Chinese family name must be latinized into Indonesian pronouncation. This paper discusses differences and background in latinization of Chinese family name to Hokkian and Hakka ethnic groups in Indonesia."

"ABSTRAK
Etnis Tionghoa sudah hadir di Indonesia sejak beberapa abad silam. Namun, hubungan antara etnis Tionghoa dengan masyarakat Indonesia mengalami pasang surut. Kegiatan adat istiadat Tionghoa sempat terhenti selama 35 tahun lamanya. Etnis Tionghoa di Indonesia sempat merasakan diskriminasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintahan orde baru (th. 1966-1998). Namun, pada situasi yang dapat dilihat sekarang, anak-anak etnis Tionghoa di Tanjung Pinang masih banyak yang dapat memahami bahasa Tionghoa. Makalah ini membahas bagaimana peran orangtua etnis Tionghoa di Tanjung Pinang dalam mengatasi masalah pelestarian budaya Tionghoa. Orangtua etnis Tionghoa mengajari anaknya dalam memahami dan melestarikan bahasa dan budaya Tionghoa. Cara-cara yang dilakukan untuk melestarikan bahasa dan budaya tersebut dengan menggunakan berbagai media berupa televisi, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah dan keluarga.

ABSTRACT
Chinese ethnicity has been present in Indonesia for several centuries. However, the relationship between Chinese and Indonesian people experienced ups and downs. Chinese customs activities have been stalled for 35 years. Chinese ethnicity in Indonesia had felt discrimination that was carried out by the old and new order governments. However, in the situation that can be seen now, there are still many ethnic Chinese children in Tanjung Pinang who can understand Chinese. This paper discusses how the role of ethnic Chinese parents in Tanjung Pinang in overcoming the problem of preserving Chinese culture. Chinese parents teach their children to understand and preserve Chinese language and culture. Ways to preserve the language and culture by using various media in the form of television, extracurricular activities in schools and families.

Di Cina pertunjukan wayang Potehi dikenal dengan sebutan bu dai xi. Penelitian mengenai pertunjukan wayang Potehi dilakukan oleh penulis di tempat ibadat Tri Dharma Hok Tek Bio, Gombong dati tanggal 31 Agustus 1996 sampai tanggal 14 September 1996, tujuannya ialah untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh kebudayaan Indonesia mempengaruhi pertunjukan wayang Potehi di Gombong."

Focus of this study is for describing the Chinese language teaching website design. The purpose of this study is to use website as alternative of chinese language learning media for people who wants to learn Chinese language more flexible especially in Indonesia. Penulisan skripsi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian pustaka yang berdasarkan pada analisis deskriptif. Hasil penulisan skripsi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengajaran bahasa Cina dengan mengoptimalkan fungsi otak kanan, tepat bila diterapkan untuk remaja karena pengajaran tersebut

Abstract
This thesis discusses the function of right brain and its utilization in the teaching of Chinese language for teenager. By applying the utilization of right brain which related with creativity, color, imagination, and dimension into the four skill of Chinese language learning, this thesis has produced an example of Mandarin teaching activity scheme that is fun and interesting. This thesis uses the literature research method based on descriptive analysis. The result from this thesis_ research concludes that Chinese language teaching method, which maximizes the right brain function, is appropriate to be applied for teenager because such method of teaching will be able to cope with the students_ shortcomings and highlights their capacity;This thesis discusses the function of right brain and its utilization in the teaching of Chinese language for teenager. "Komplek bangunan Temple of Heaven merupakan kompleks kuil tempat kaisar Cina yang sedang berkuasa di masa Dinasti Ming dan Qing melakukan ritual penyembahan dan persembahan kurban kepada penguasa langit untuk meminta hujan dan hasil panen pertanian yang baik. Tata ruang dan konstruksi bangunan-bangunan yang ada dalam kompleks Temple of Heaven memiliki makna budaya yang terkandung, salah satunya adalah adanya pengaruh ajaran Tao. Secara khusus, jurnal ini meneliti pengaruh ajaran Tao terhadap bangunan Temple of Heaven di Beijing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkap apa saja pengaruh ajaran Tao terhadap bangunan Temple of Heaven.

The Temple of Heaven building complex is the imperial temple complex where the ruling emperor of Ming and Qing dynasties performed the worship and sacrificing ritual in order to beseech rain and good harvests to the God of Heaven. The layout and the construction of the buildings inside the complex are containing the value of culture, which one of it is Taoism. This journal is specifically research the influence of Taoism on the Temple of Heaven building complex. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The result of this research will reveal the influence of Taoism on the Temple of Heaven building complex."

"ABSTRAK
Teh merupakan minuman yang berasal dari negara Cina. Teh selain dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Cina sebagai minuman sehari-hari untuk memuaskan dahaga, sering pula dikonsumsi pada saat bermeditasi, untuk tujuan menjaga kesehatan, dan menjaga ketenangan hati. Semangat di dalam teh mendasari karakter masyarakat Cina. Budaya minum teh ini dapat pula dikaitkan dengan hubungan tiga dasar konsep pemikiran Konfusianisme, Buddhisme dan Taoisme. Tiga dasar pemikiran ini menjadi landasan berpikir masyarakat Cina dalam menjalani kehidupan mereka. Secara khusus, jurnal ini meneliti tentang teh yang mempunyai makna penting bagi kehidupan masyarakat Cina yang berkaitan dengan konsep pemikiran Konfusianisme, Buddhisme dan Taoisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah metode kualitatif yang memaparkan bahwa teh ternyata memang mempunyai makna yang amat penting bagi orang Cina dan berhubungan erat dengan konsep pemikiran Konfusianisme, Buddhisme dan Taoisme.

ABSTRACT
Tea is a drink from China. Tea is consumed by Chinese people as a daily drink to quench thirst, often consumed during meditation, for the purpose of maintaining health, and maintaining peace of mind. The spirit in tea underlies the character of Chinese society. The culture of tea drinking can also be linked to the relationship of the three basic ideas of Confucius, Buddhism and Daoist. These three rationale are the foundation of Chinese peoples thinking in living their lives. In particular, this journal examines tea which has important significance for the lives of Chinese people related to the thought concepts of Confucius, Buddhism and Daoists. The research method used in this journal is a qualitative method which explains that tea does indeed have a very important meaning for Chinese people and is closely related to the concept of thought of Confucius, Buddhism and Daoist."

ABSTRAK
Tarian Naga dan Tarian Singa di Semarang. Tarian naga dan tarian singa merupakan bentuk kesenian tradisional Cina yang masih ada hingga saat ini di Semarang. Di kota ini setiap tahun digelar pertunjukan tarian naga dan singa untuk memeriahkan perayaan HUT kedatangan Sam Po ke Semarang. Sam Po yang oleh masyarakat Cina di Semarang dianggap sebagai dewa pelindung mereka begitu dihormati sehingga perayaan HUT kedatangannya ke Semarang dirayakan dengan sangat meriah.
Awal mula munculnya kedua tarian ini di Semarang tidak dapat diketahui secara pasti. Namun dengan munculnya perkumpulan Kong Gie Siang pada tahun 1900 yang merupakan perkumpulan pertama di Semarang yang mengembangkan kedua tarian ini menunjukkan bahwa usia kedua tarian ini hingga tahun 1996 telah tua.
Penelitian mengenai kedua tarian ini di Semarang dilakukan di dua buah perkumpulan yaitu Hoo Hap dan Dharma Asih, selain itu juga diadakan penelitian di kelenteng Sam Pao Kong Gedung Batu, Semarang yang merupakan tempat diadakannya perayaan memperingati HUT kedatangan Sam Po ke Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat keadaan dan perkembangan kedua tarian itu di Semarang.
Dalam perkembangannya ternyata kedua tarian itu bukan hanya telah mendapat pengaruh dari kebudayaan Indonesia tapi ternyata juga telah memberi pengaruh pada kebudayaan Indonesia.

"Ton berfungsi sebagai pembeda makna, sehingga menguasai ton adalah hal yang tidak dapat dihindari jika sesorang ingin mencapai profisiensi tinggi dalam Bahasa Mandarin. Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti pengaruh tingkat kesulitan ton dan proses pembelajaran pada pemerolehan ton kosakata bersuku satu dan dua pada mahasiswa semester satu S1 Bahasa Mandarin di sebuah Universitas Swasta di Jakarta. Instrumen penelitian berupa: kuesioner, observasi kelas, tes membedakan ton, dan tes melafalkan kosakata. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan urutan pemerolehan adalah ton 4 > ton 1 > ton 3 > ton 2. Namun, jumlah suku kata dan letak ton dalam kosakata mempengaruhi persepsi dan produksi ton. Di samping itu faktor bahasa pertama pemelajar, keakuratan ton pengajar, dan metode pengajaran terbukti mempengaruhi pemerolehan ton.

In Mandarin, tone is functioned to differentiate meaning. Thus, it is a must to master tone for one to acquire the highest proficiency in learning the language. This research is meant to observe the influence of tone difficulty and learning process on acquisition.This research uses monosyllabic and disyllabic word as the subject of research conducted in a private university in Jakarta. Subjects of the research are students of the first semester majoring in Mandarin. The instruments used to conduct the research are: questionaire, observation, tone marking test, and pronunciation test. The results of the research shows that overall acquisition of tone 4 > tone 1 > ton 3 > tone 2. But number of syllabel and position of tone in the word have influence to tone perception and production. Furthermore, learner's first language, teacher tone accuracy, and teaching method have influence on tone acquisition."
