"ABSTRAKKesehatan merupakan hak asasi manusia dan salah satu unsur kesejahteraan yang harus diwujudkan sesuai dengan cita-cita bangsa Indonesia sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pancasila dan UUD 1945. Kualitas kesehatan masyarakat tidak lepas dari kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, sediaan farmasi, dan alat kesehatan yang diberikan. Obat hanya boleh diproduksi oleh industri farmasi yang memiliki izin industri. Industri farmasi harus memiliki izin industri dan mengimplementasikan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik CPOB . Pembuktian implementasi dari CPOB ditunjukkan dengan diperolehnya sertifikat CPOB untuk industri tersebut. CPOB mengatur 12 aspek yaitu manajemen mutu, pesonalia, bangunan dan fasilitas, peralatan, sanitasi dan higiene, produksi, pengawasan mutu, inspeksi diri dan audit mutu, penanganan keluhan dan penarikan kembali produk, dokumentasi, pembuatan dan analisis berdasarkan kontrak, kualifikasi dan validasi. Sebagai bekal untuk memahami penerapan kompetensi Apoteker di industri farmasi dan aktivitas praktis profesi Apoteker di industri farmasi, maka PT Merck Tbk. memberikan kesempatan kepada calon Apoteker untuk melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker.

"ABSTRAKPraktik Kerja Profesi PKP di PT. Merck Tbk dilakukan selama dua bulan dari April-Mei 2017bertempat di Jl. TB Simatupang No.8 Pasar Rebo, Jakarta Timur. PKP ini bertujuan untuk agarcalon apoteker mengetahui tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di industri farmasi dan memahamipenerapan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik CPOB di Industi Farmasi. Selain itu calon apotekerjuga dapat memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industrifarmasi, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukanpekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi.
