"Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi implementasi dari proses dan alat dari proyek perbaikan mutu. Menyediakan fase-fase beserta kegiatannya untuk menjalankan sebuah proyek perbaikan mutu. Studi ini juga menyajikan jenis-jenisalat dan teknik yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dalam setiap tahapan proyek.Studi ini mencatat bahwa berbagai jenis pendekatan manajemen mutu memiliki kesamaan dalam langkah proses dan alat yang digunakan dalam setiap proses. Terdapat empat langkah umum dalam sebuah proyek perbaikan, yaitu: 1. Identifikasi dan penetapan sebuah proyek perbaikan, 2. Mendiagnosa penyebab masalah, 3. Menghilangkan penyebab masalah, 4. Mempertahankan pencapaian dari hasil perbaikan. Disamping itu didapatkan juga bahwa sebuah alat sangat mungkin untuk dipakai di dalam lebih dari satu tahap atau proses.

This paper attempts to identify the implementation of process steps and tools in a quality improvement project. It provides phases and its activities to perform a project of quality improvement process. It also present kinds of tools and techniques are used to achieved goals in every steps of project.

This study note that various quality management approaches has a similarity in process steps and tools. There are four general steps in an improvement project. Those are identify and establish an improvement project; diagnose the cause of problems; remedy the cause of problem; and Hold the gains. It also provides most commonly tools applied in quality and a process improvement project.The application of a tool in more than one phase into a project is very possible."

"ABSTRAKThe cranes are widely used to facilitate the transport of goods. This project aims tocreate a miniature crane to study and analyze its behavior, especially the swing of theload while moving, and then develop and implement a system controlling the positionand velocity of the load of the crane using a specific control technique.The purpose of controlling this apparatus is automatically move the crane to aparticular position at a certain speed, while trying to keep the swing of the mass to aminimum/no sway. The method used is the state feedback control implemented inVB.net and it produces a very good response.The overall structure of the miniature crane system consists of a computer/program,the LabJack, amplifiers, a motor, sensors, and the miniature crane apparatus.The useof linearization technique could overcome the problem of the dead zone on the motor."

"Masalah kualitas dalam pendidikan tinggi sangat menantang karena memiliki dua aspek yang berbeda, yaitu: pelayanan dan pendidikan. Lembaga pendidikan tinggi menghadapi tantangan besar dalam lingkungan yang berubah dengan cepat. Untuk mengatasi perubahan yang cepat, Politeknik Aceh, berharap untuk menjadi salah satu sekolah yang berkualitas dalam kegiatan sehari-hari mereka. Tujuan keseluruhan dari proyek ini adalah untuk merancang sistem mutu pendidikan untuk digunakan di Politeknik Aceh. Untuk memenenuhi tujuan tersebut penulis mencari contoh beberapa institusi pendidikan tinggi yang telah menerapkan sistem mutu dalam proses pendidikan di Perancis, penulis memilih proses akademik ISTIA (Sekolah Teknik University Angers) dan Agrocampus Ouest, di mana proses pendidikan sesrupa dengan Politeknik di Indonesia.

The overall issue of quality in higher education poses a special challenge because of its two distinct aspects - service and education. Higher Education institutions face important challenges on the rapidly changing environment. To face rapid changes, Aceh Polytechnic hoping to become one of the colleges that put quality in their daily activities. The general objective of this final project is design the quality educational system for implementation in Aceh polytechnics. To obtain the example of educational institutions that have implemented quality system in education, we analyzed the academic process of ISTIA (Engineering School of Université Angers) and Agrocampus Ouest, where the educations activities are similar to the polytechnic in Indonesia. They are public schools engineer was certified ISO 9001. ISTIA and Agrocampus Ouest located in Angers, France."

The model willbe driven by Allen Bradley SLC500.For supervision web using PcVue-WebVue, we managed to achieve theobjective laid. We have carried out the supervision of overhead cranes withsuccess. For supervision web using Google Web Toolkit (GWT), we have takenon new technologies. Unfortunately, we could not achieve the objective laid. La supervision est une techniqueindustrielle de suivi et de pilotage informatique de procédés de fabricationautomatisés. La supervision concerne l'acquisition de données (mesures, alarmes,retour d'état de fonctionnement) et des paramètres de commande des processusgénéralement confiés à des automates programmables.Le but du projet sont réaliser des supervisions avec PCVUE utilisant des« WEBVUE » et réaliser une supervision WEB utilisant des Google Web Toolkit(GWT) à partir de |java ou .Net (Pour la communication OPC), pages desupervision accessibles depuis un navigateur Internet (Internet Explorer, Firefox,...) pour le pilotage de la maquette ainsi que lasupervision du système automatisé.La maquette sera pilotée par un automate Allen Bradley SLC500.Pour la supervision web qui utilise PcVue-WebVue, nous avons réussi à atteindrel?objectif posé. Nous avons réalise la supervision web de ponts roulant avecsuccès. Pour la supervision web qui utilise Google Web Toolkit (GWT), nousavons pris de nouvelles technologies. "Proyek pengembangan gokart listrik di ISTIA-Universitas Angers sudah berjalan dalam beberapa tahun ini. Go-kart listrik tersebut menjadi sarana belajar teori dan praktek bagi para mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya dan juga digunakan untuk berpartisipasi dalam perlombaan yang diselenggarakan oleh asosiasi gokart listrik di kota Angers. Studi ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka melakukan pengembangan sistem transmisi dari go-kart listrik tersebut, dengan harapan dapat memperbaiki prestasinya dalam perlombaan. Tujuan studi kali ini adalah merancang sebuah Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) yang akan diintegrasikan dengan sebuah aktuator linear. Setelah dilakukan analisis terhadap sisi geometri dan mekanis, didapatkan spesifikasi sebuah konsep sistem transmisi baru bagi go-kart listrik tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan program Solidworks, kami juga mendapatkan rancangan visualisasi yang dapat diaplikasikan pada go-kart tersebut.

Projet du développement le kart électrique de l?ISTIA a été fait dans quelques années. Kart électrique est un moyen d?étudier la théorie et la pratique pour les étudiants à améliorer leurs compétences et sont également utilisés pour participer à une course organisée par l?association de karting électrique à Angers. L'étude a été menée afin de développer le système de transmission du kart électrique, l'espoir d'améliorer sa performance dans la course. But de cette étude est de concevoir un variateur de vitesse mécanique qui sera intégré à un actionneur linéaire. Après analyse de la géométrie et la mécanique, nous avons obtenu les spécifications d'un concept nouveau système de transmission électrique pour ce kart électrique. En utilisant le programme Solidworks, nous obtenons aussi un design visuel qui peut être appliqué à ce kart électrique."

"Pemerintah menghadapi kebutuhan pembiayaan yang semakin meningkat untuk mengembangkan dan memelihara fasilitas infrastruktur. Pelayanan akan infrastruktur sering disediakan dengan defisit operasi, yang hanya ditutupi melalui subsidi, sehingga akan memberatkan pada sumber daya masyarakat (publik). Di padukan dengan sebagian besar kemampuan keuangan pemerintah yang terbatas, hal ini mendorong untuk memobilisasi modal sektor swasta untuk ikut dalam investasi di bidang infrastruktur. Terstruktur dengan tepat Kemitraan Pemerintah Swasta (KPS) mungkin akan dapat mengerakan sumber daya/modal yang sebelumnya belum dimanfaatkan sektor swasta baik ditingkat lokal, regional, atau internasional yang sedang mencari peluang investasi. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang Kemitraan Pemerintah Swasta terutama dalam hal struktur dan skema pembiayaanya. Dalam studi ini mengkaji dan merangkum berbagai macam dokumen yang tersedia (buku, jurnal, tesis dan lainnya) untuk lebih fokus pada struktur dan skema pembiayaan dalam Kemitraan Pemerintah dan Swasta. Kalkulasi finansial dan manajemen resiko adalah faktor utama penentu keberhasilan dalam Kemitraan Pemerintah Swasta.

Governments face an ever increasing need to find sufficient financing to develop and maintain infrastructure. Furthermore, infrastructure services are often provided at an operating deficit, which is covered only through subsidies, thus constituting an additional drain on public resources. Combined with most governments limited financial capacity, these pressures drive a desire to mobilize private sector capital for infrastructure investment. Structured correctly, a Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) may be able to mobilize previously untapped resources from the local, regional, or international private sector which is seeking investment opportunities. The objectives of this report is to learn more about the Public Private Partnerships especially in terms of structure and financing schemes. In this report reviewed and summarizes the available document (book, journal, thesis and other ) to focus on structure and financing schemes in public private partnership. Financial calculations and risk management is a main factor success in the public private partnerships."
